A+++++++++++ Courtesy Plumbing was sent to my third floor condo to investigate a water leak in my downstairs neighbor condo. They were sent from the HOA, supposedly licensed and insured professionals.
They spent a total of 30 minutes in my condo. Unable to find the source of the leak, the technician ( and I use the word loosely ) caulked the shower fixture labeling it as a probable cause.
He did NOT even open the cabinet doors to the sink, nor even look at the water heater, water closet or any appliances. A week later I received a bill for $400.00.
That comes to $800 an hour. It took THREE attempts to finally receive and Itemized bill.
Still haven't heard from Mikey ( the owner of the company ) waiting for a response. I would not trust these guys to change the toilet paper roll.

The gentlemen who came to our house was strongly affirming we did not have a plumbing issue. Turns out after doing some additional investigation, as curious homeowners, not certified plumbers, we DO in fact have plumbing issues.
So after spending a few hundred dollars fixing our roof, since we trusted this plumbers assessment that it was NOT a plumbing issue, we were still experiencing a leak. It turns out that the vents for the sink and toilet are not properly connected, or fitted.
This is NOT the work of courtesy plumbing mind you, but they failed to identify this issue, given 2 opportunities. I would also have to give some benefit of the doubt to the gentleman who came out, as this construction should have never passed inspection, and I'm sure is fairly uncommon.
Justin was on time. He was very thorough and professional.
Pricing was very reasonable. I will not hesitate to call Courtesy for future plumbing needs.
My wife and I had an issue with our shower not turning off, causing us to have to turn off the water for the whole house, which as you could imagine is pretty annoying. We called Courtesy Plumbing and they were able to schedule an appointment for us in just a few hours.
Their plumber, Anthony, showed up right on time and diagnosed the problem quickly and was very communicative during the whole process. Anthony gave us options on how to fix the problem and was upfront with costs and ways to cut down the price if we needed to.
He was able to fix the problem at a reasonable price and now we have a working shower again! Highly recommended for your plumbing needs. Bought a new home...with old plumbing (think clay and cast iron) that clog easily.

Anthony Pasderetz installed a 1 piece toilet and ensured it meets handicap-accessible laws, summarized the job with a detailed report, gave me the quoted price with potential for adds in cost of the job was more complex than anticipated (ahead of time) so no surprises, found an issue I would never have caught that would have cost me time and $ in the future ... resolved everything in a short amount of time ...

Our kitchen sink stopped working a couple of days ago and after failing miserably trying to self-diagnose, I went onto Yelp to find a certified plumber to come out. I called Courtesy on yesterday and they were able to promptly get someone scheduled to come out less than 24 hours later (on New Year's Eve).
Jason called me when he was 15 minutes away and was prompt, courteous, and professional. The problem ended up being very minor (thankfully).
Although he could've charged me a trip charge without hesitation, he did not. Literally, he made my day! I will definitely use Courtesy again and will proudly recommend them to others.

Told us how to explain the problem to the dishwasher tech. Said he could make the repairs but it would be a $400-$500 job and not really necessary.
Assured us it would be fine once the dishwasher repairs were done. Said he'd come right back if needed.
He left and didn't charge us a thing!! Once the Dishwasher tech was finished everything worked great. No more leaks.

I did not have a good experience with Courtesy. They came to my house to rod my sewer from my front yard clean out to my house.
They charged me $440 and "can not break the roots". They recommended I dig up the line for an additional charge of $3500.
I had the city come to inspect and they said it just needs to be rodded out. I ended up calling someone else local and they were able to do the job that Courtesy was not able to do for $305.
I would not recommend. James of Courtesy Plumbing came out today and gave me a quote...
I bargained a little and we agreed on the price. When he was performing the work I asked James if he could also install the toilet cabinet/vanity that I removed due to the water leak issue.
James agreed and finished the leak issue behind the walls (very hard to get into unless you are as tall with long arms like James). Re-installed the toilet vanity, tested the work for leak/s and no problem.
Excellent job. I'm a pretty handy guy but in order for me to fix this issue I would have to buy some tools I do not have and not be able to use it again, if ever.

Joe Neace came out to our house to fix two toilets Home Depot had set incorrectly and destroyed my kitchen ceiling. He also rodded out my main sewer and flushed it.

Mike, with Courtesy, told me they would have to remove the tub and tub surround panels and jack hammer the slab underneath to get at the plugged up line. Mike and his partner were very knowledgeable about the situation, they were courteous, and I decided to go with them because of Courtesy's 40 years experience in the plumbing business.
They did exactly as they said they would do and found 40 years of hair plugging the line up. They removed the plugged up galvanized pipe and replaced it with PVC pipe and re-cemented the hole where they excavated in the slab.

I've reviewed before but wanted to share my last 2 experiences. During the brutal cold this winter I had a pipe burst in my basement.
Courtesy Plumbing was out first thing in the morning to locate the broken pipe and repair it. After finding 2 split pipes Matt Blankenship cleaned the area and told me what I needed to keep if I needed to file an insurance claim.
Because I'm more afraid of water than electricity, I had then out today to replace a toilet that had a bad seal. Again Matt Blankenship showed up ...gave the quote up front and while we had the toilet pulled up to replace the wax ring we had the bowl replaced too.
Again, excellent job and left as clean as when he started. We have been using them for years and every time they're in we know why! This business was contracted by my condo association and they recommended I replace my garbage disposal.
They quoted $425 to replace the disposal for my 1 bedroom condo. The plumber told me it cost about $300 to install and $125 for the disposal, which is outrageous cost for an install.
If you call they will give you a range of options but they did not offer any options while they were in my unit doing work. They are obviously out to make as much money off you as possible.
I would recommend getting work done by a more ethical business. I used Courtesy in the past and they did a great job, but a month ago I called them for an electrical issue, a return vent issue and two plumbing issues and they only fixed the return vent issue.
When I called to tell them this, the lady who answered the phone, who wasn't very nice, said I would probably be charged again despite the receipt saying they give a 30 day guarantee for their work. I will never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone.

To change a bathroom faucet that was leaking , which we bought already, and to by pass outside water Spicket's from out water softener. Their quote was 2600.00!!! Compared to other quotes we thought were high in the 700's.
I guess 700 was good! What a rip off!! Obviously we did not hire them!! The best this company really works with you and makes sure you are happy with the work. Hats off to your work.

Had they called me, I would have instructed my friend to bring my key, so that they could enter my unit properly....instead, they broke into my home....breaking my stick, holding the window close, and forcefully entered my home, and taking some important items!!! I filed a police report, and they basically did nothing.
They also left the chair under my window all weekend, that they used to gain entry!!! How irresponsible!!! In addition, to leaving my unit available for anyone to come in. I am saying to you.....potential clients....do not use this company!!! They may have a few positive ratings, but, this is the real truth about this company.
They do dirty stuff like this, then hide behind the Association, to get away with dirty deeds!!!! You have been warned!!!! Of course you would defend the actions of your company....should I post the police report, and the police response??? You can call the new Association that was just put in place after the incident!!! The leak was identified/new copper pipe extension was installed and the new garbage disposal (Home Depot purchased) was installed. Jason from Courtesy Plumbing was on time, polite and completed the job to our satisfaction.

Always ask for the companies service rates and do they charge for travel to your location. I had Jason out providing a quote for our leaking shower drain.
He was fantastic with looking for solutions to fix our problem with the minimum cost and trouble for us first. He also diagnosed the issue quickly and talked through all the options with us patiently when I had questions.

The best service I've ever received from a company! My husband & I have been clients for years & the service continues to be excellent! Each plumber has been so kind & respectful, hence the name "Courtesy Plumbing". As a women I don't always feel safe w/ repairmen in my home.

I had family over for the holidays and noticed a drain that was backed-up outside of the house on a Sunday night. Courtesy Plumbing sent out James the next day and scoped the sewer line, it was completely collapsed.
Turns out my home had an old clay sewer line. I couldn't use any water because it was sealed shut with mud and roots.
Courtesy Plumbing managed to get a crew out to my home the very next day to replace the sewer line. They were very careful with the sump pump discharge line, the water line, and the gas line all within a few feet of where the sewer line ran to the main.
I would recommend them to anyone. Absolutely the best there is.

Very satisfied with an emergency repair to a frozen water pipe that burst in my basement. The 2man team arrived same day service, diagnosed the problem, made minimal cut into the wall, good clean up, double checked the water was flowing properly to entire house again and the through the repaired water pipe.
Under 1.5 hours total time they were at my home, and used YellowPages coupon. We've had Frankie out to our home several times - and actually look forward to it! Not many people can say that about using a plumber.
He can always come right away and spends time with us to really understand the problem. He always offers the cheapest solutions and even provided us with a free showerhead he had in the truck when our's needed to be replaced.
We are customers for life and can't imagine ever going elsewhere. The prices are fair, it's easy to make an appointment and I'm comfortable having them in our home.
Courtesy Plumbing is awesome. We have had them install new plumbing for a bathroom as well as fix plumbing and install a new tub in an existing bathroom.
They are very courteous, knowledgeable, delivered what they promised and their pricing is reasonable. Matt was especially helpful answering any questions we had about the work and how the plumbing in our 40-year old house was set up.
