I had a water leak in my yard between the meter and my house. They showed how thin the supply line was, much thinner than typical pvc pipe.

They figured out where the main line went into the house and put in a new line. They added a shutoff so we don't have to go out to the street to shut the water off if we need to.

I hired 308 Solutions to install a 14-50 outlet in my garage. The installation location was clear across the house from the electrical panel.

They installed the wiring with minimal damage to the drywall and were done in around 2 hours. Very fast, very clean in the work areas, and reasonably priced.

My outdoor GFCI outlet stopped working and they replaced a new one. I later noticed that the original one was WR and TR rated.

The new one is NOT (seems to be a regular indoor GFCI). And that is a violation of the code (based on some info I found on the internet).

I emailed the business owner Ryan about it and have not got a response... Besides, the technician left a bunch of screws on the ground and I had to clean it up.

It could be a hazard to my dog. 2.

I paid in full in cash with tips when they finished the job (they told me there is a 3% fee for cards and they did not have any changes). But I did not receive a receipt until six days later...

3. I told them that I'll need a new electrical box (for a ceiling fan) but they did not have it with them.

They went out to get one and that took about 30 mins. 4.

An indoor outlet was not working and the technician replaced it with a new receptacle and called it done. While they were out for the electrical box, I tested it and it was not fixed...

I told them when they got back. It was actually a loose neutral connection at an upstream switch.

5. While they were working on the wires, they did not switch off any breakers.

I was surprised. Not sure if a licensed electrician would do so.

Requested a bid to take my landscape lighting electric connection (southern engineered extension cord) to a legit, code approved, outdoor electrical outlet. They were super quick to respond, give proposal and get work scheduled.

Guys came out pretty much on time and got the job done quickly, left the area super clean and put all our stuff back in place afterwards. Price was right on.

These guys are a standout team. The circuit breaker for our family room would not reset and I needed a quick fix to get our internet back up.

I called 308 and Sissy answered, took my number, and said she'd see if she had anyone available to help this afternoon. She called back about five minutes later and said she had a technician who could be there in 30 minutes.

She gave me the pricing up front and gave me a quote for the estimated parts needed. The price seemed frankly better than I expected.

Sure enough, 30 minutes later, Ryan was at the door. He replaced our breaker and then tested it and saw that the problem wasn't fixed.

He then quickly went through the affected outlets, found the problem, and fixed it. All-in, they had my house back online literally 90 minutes after I called them.

THEN, I had mentioned to Sissy that I had a non-functioning floodlight and could the technician take a look and maybe give a repair estimate while he was here, recognizing that he would likely be between scheduled jobs due to the short notice. Instead, when Ryan got here, he hopped up on a ladder, took down the floodlight, and diagnosed and repaired it on the spot.

The price was reasonable and I would definitely use them again. Over charged! I was quoted $160 an hour and I approved 2hrs for a total of $320 for 4 outlet replacements.

They arrived at 12:30 came in within 45 minutes changed 3 plugs and struggled to repair the fourth outlet under the sink only to find one of the adjoining plugs had a loose wire. Finished at 2:30 and presented me with a bill for $543! They added an extra hour for a total of 3 hours, A trip fee and on top of that added 3% for using a credit card??? Nothing was ever mentioned about a trip charge or credit card fees When I protested they said take it up with my manager.

Who I called and said we can discuss the extra fee but never returned my call. Beware they will Over charge you.

I had three different companies came for estimate and gave me potential solutions. Andy from 308 gave me the simplest and cheapest solution.

The other guys either tried to intimidate me and then upsell a crazy job or just did not want to do this. I was concerned that my existing wire would not work on the devices.

Andy and technician Jim assured me my wires are completely safe and would not cause a fire. The other company came to tell me that sooner or later my house would catch on fires and it would cost 50k to replace those wires behind the walls because we need to basically tear the drywall apart.

Andy did all the research for me and installed an extra fuse just to make me comfortable I would not hesitate to call them on any electrical problem. These guys know how to do business with honesty and integrity.

Did a good job installing my 14-50 outlet. Put it right in the spot that I asked, but I didn't realize until after they left that where I was hoping to put it was not on a stud so the outlet isn't as secured as I would hope.

(3 stars) They didn't cut up my walls more than they had too and tried to leave the drywall in pieces clean enough to patch back up so I appreciate the extra care there. (+1 star) I would have loved if they would have come back to me when doing the work and told me "hey you know where you told us to put it isn't on a stud, can we move it over 4 inches to have it secured" that proactive step would have moved the rating up to 5 stars in my book.

Great service! They quoted me (through YELP!) and we corresponded. I contacted them to come out and we scheduled it pretty easily.

The end cost was exactly what they quoted me because it was a generally easy job. I had an GFCI outlet stop working and another outlet wasn't working.

It turns out they were on the same circuit and they just needed to replace the GFCI thingy on the first outlet in the garage. They quoted me $90/hour + parts.

I explained the problem in detail. They said they would call back when they had checked their schedule for availability.

I got a call back from a different number, seemed like might not have been the same person, but since I had only called one plumber, I figured it had to be the same guy. We spoke and agreed on a 5PM service call to work on my water softener.

I took photos of the unit and sent a detailed text, to which he confirmed. They said someone would be here at 5PM.

5:15 PM no one is here, no ones has called, so I call them back, they said they would call the technician and call me right back. At 5:35PM, still no call back.

I call again "the technician is wrapping up another job, he'll be right there" 5:45PM the technician calls me and says..."so what are we doing today, installing a water filter?" I said no, you're repairing a water softener...I sent pictures and a detailed explanation to your boss. "oh, well we don't really do that, there must have been a miscommunication" So I call the number of the guy I have been texting with...and he sends me to voicemail.

I text him letting him know what happened and asking for an update. He responds "I'll call you in 1 minute" well, that was almost 30 minutes ago.

I would avoid these guys like the plague. I've finally found my go-to plumber, I highly recommend these guys! John came to my house quickly in an emergency, charged a very reasonable rate, and did a fantastic job.

The gas company knocked on my door at 8:30 pm on a Tuesday night; letting me know I had a major gas leak and that they were shutting my gas off until it could be fixed. I immediately messaged 10-15 companies on Yelp and John was the first to get back to me, and with a reasonable estimate.

(Other companies quoted an extra charge because of the "urgent" nature of the issue, John did not.) As promised, John showed up first thing the next morning, walked through the leaks with me and explained how he was going to fix them. I live in an old building, and the lines connected to my water heater/furnace had an undisclosed leak.

He was here for 3.5-4 hours, and did an incredibly thorough job patching up the lines and replacing the shut off valves. The gas company checked for leaks when they turned the gas back on, and the commented what an amazing job he had done.

I have to say this plumber's pricing was very reasonable compared to other plumbers. I noticed a puddle in front of my toilet after I flushed it and couldn't tell where the leak was coming from, so I called and left a message to schedule an appointment.

Jeff returned my call within a few hours and scheduled a time to come out. He was punctual and came during the time we agreed upon.

When he looked at the toilet, within 2 seconds he had figured out that there was a little tube that had come loose and it just needed to be reattached for the leak to stop. I felt like such an idiot for not figuring that out myself and felt so bad for wasting his time.

Jeff was so nice about it though. While he was there I had some questions for him and he was able to help me out with them.

I texted Jeff asking for a quote for replacement of my leaking garbage disposal. (BTW I called other company on Yelp to compare the price and they played the same game instead of giving me simple quote).

He simply gave me a typical price for the type of item I was looking for. I set up an appointment between 7-8am and he showed up at 7am.

He explained to me garbage disposal needs to be replaced and loose faucet needs to be tightened. He told me the cost which turned out to be even less than what he originally quoted me.

He finished the job in a timely manner. He replaced the disposer and drain, and tightened faucet.

Ran the dishwasher a few times to clean it out. Swapped the hot and cold supplies on the kitchen faucet, they were reversed (by another bad plumber).

Once he was done he asked me to text him my info so he can bill me. It seemed he was in a hurry to get to his next scheduled appointment and told me that he will email me the invoice tomorrow morning.

What I'm saying is that he wasn't even worried about getting paid. He cared about his work being done properly and efficiently.

We noticed the running water inside the wall around 11p Sunday night and after shutting off the water got to bed at 1a or so.

Monday morning around 9a we called him (husband was doing the calling and he got an answering machine and I whispered, leave a message, he'll call back right away, and he called back pretty quickly) and by noon he was working on it (he said he'd be there between noon and 2p I'd never actually had anyone show up towards the beginning of the range that often) and didn't leave until it was complete around 3:30p. He is knowledgeable, had the parts needed already, and was friendly and personable (and he liked our dog, always a plus, although it's not hard to love our dog :)).

It's not going to be the cheapest but my husband always says cheap, fast, and good, choose which two you want. We had working toilets and shower less than 24 hrs from the time we discovered the leak.

Would definitely use Jeff again. My "go to" plumber! I had our water heater fail on a Friday night.

I called several other plumbing businesses who were not able to respond. I called and left a message for Jeff, who called back within 3 minutes.

He sent Robert to our home that night to ensure that there were no safety issues with a leaking water heater. Robert came back the next day and installed a new one.

I have subsequently used them to service my water heater at my rental property. Robert was present, as promised.

My opinion of the qualities of a good plumber are experience, quality work, and value pricing. I have had five different plumbing companies perform services for me in the last four years and none of them would I recommend or use again.

I postponed several different plumbing needs while I searched for a plumber who met my basic requirements and was referred to Jeff at All Aces Plumbing by my neighborhood social network , "Next Door Lone Mountain". I contacted Jeff through his web page and described the for separate services which included replacing the Moen cartridge in the master shower, shut off valves for one of the other bathrooms and replacing the Moen cartridges in the lavatory sink, and re-piping the incoming main water supply to accommodate the installation of a water meter and relocation of the water softener.

Jeff asked that I please send him pictures to allow him to more accurately estimate the charges for the services which I did and he provided an estimate of $600 dollars and we set up an appointment for Monday at 08:00. Jeff showed up promptly at eight on Monday and personally reviewed the multiple requirements, confirm his original estimate and began executing the tasks.

I have owned a home all of my life and consider myself a fairly competent "handyman around the house" so I watched Jeff while he worked to see how he accomplished these tasks. It was extremely rare, especially in this age to observe the skill and pride in craft that Jeff exercised while performing each task but writing space prevents me providing more detail.

It took him five hours to do everything and when done the invoice was only $550 and while I was very insistent on paying him the original estimate of $600 as his work could only be described as exceeding exceptions many fold but he refused to accept it. When do you ever witness that kind of transaction in today's world.

I have now found the plumber that I have been searching for. If you use Jeff at All Aces Plumbing, I know you will find yours.

We recently had the pleasure of having Jeff help us with a major bathroom remodel. He was consistently on time, reasonable, and very knowledgeable.
