Review and analyze now for company Mr. Sewer Rooter and provide the analysis in the discussed format for the following reviews: '''I hired Robert for clay pipe replacement.
He was great to work with. He was very good on keeping me updated throughout the whole process.
Very communicative and efficient! He and his team were very knowledgeable with what they were doing. Thank you Robert and your team! Truly appreciate your hard work and expertise! Dishonest company.
I was charged $600 for a Hydro clean out and within seven days the same problem persisted. I was then charged $150 them to come out for the same issue.
They tried to sell me a new pipe for 7,000. Saying the pipe had a crack and was old.
I told them them i didnt have 7k and they told me it wasn't an emergency but would need to be done eventually. The same day of the hydro flush, I spoke with another plumber and sent the video this company gave me.
The other plumber told me he didn't see a crack and many pipes have rust but he noticed there was a slow flow. It challenging because you never know what plumbers will do for MOENY.
It is my belief this company knew they didn't fix the issue or intentionally left something in the pipe to come back. In a desire to put my home up for sale, as a precaution, I had an inspection performed to see if there were any items I needed to address.
It became one of those times I did the right thing. Much to my surprise after having a camera inspection of my sewer line I was told there seems to be breakage along the pipe.
But really I never have had any problems with my drainage and no backups to worry about. Doing diligence I went ahead and obtained several opinions.
Then I found Robert Chamul of Mr. Sewer Rooter and Plumbing.
He is also known for his expertise in sewer pipes. This was the best move I ever made.
I will admit having sewer problems is a costly job but the crew that works for Robert are exceptional. Yes we had to get city permits and had some city hick ups but all in all the job went smoothly.
Robert's work team are excellent at their jobs and provide updates regularly. As well as did Robert himself.
You are never in the dark. If ever I were to have a plumbing problem I would never hesitate to call Robert again.
He is courteous, trustworthy, and knowledgeable of what he does. My partner and I hired Mr.
Sewer back in April to replace/fix a big portion of our sewer. We got quotes from a few different companies, and Mr.
Sewer Rooter's quote was pretty comparable to the other companies. We decided to hire Mr.
Sewer Rooter, because when Robert came out to give a quote, he was very thorough in assessing the situation. We felt confident that the project wasn't going to change or escalate mid-way through.
Also, we asked Robert a lot of questions and even called him a few times before committing to the project, and he was always open to talking to us and explained things very clearly. They were able to start the work soon after and kept on schedule.
We had a few minor requests along the way which they were amenable to. For example, when they had to trench under our floor we asked them to cut the carpet a specific way so that we could put it back down after, and they did that exactly how we asked.
Also - we didn't even ask for this - but they even added a cleanout in the back of our backyard for us, so that we can more easily monitor our sewer pipe that goes into the back alley, and (if I understood correctly) so that if there is an issue back there, the sewer will backup into our yard instead of inside of our house. We paid a 10% deposit when we committed to the project, then another 30% mid-way through the project, then the final 60% upon completion.
They accepted online payment with credit card, which was nice. We really liked working with Mr.
Sewer Rooter and would recommend them to anyone. Robert was great to work with.
He came out initially and provided us with a cost estimate on repairs identified on our new home inspection list. 8 Months later, we had major issues with our main sewer line (root intrusion, parcel clay pipe cracks and collapse) and decided to have Robert and his team do the repairs which included excavating and replacing a 6' section of clay pipe, install a pipe liner all the to the city's main sewer system and hydro jetting.
It is a costly endeavor and for sure long-term investment. Robert was really good on communicating and keeping us updated through the whole process.
I hired Robert and Mr Sewer Rooter for a replacement of a clay pipe section of my sewer line a few months ago. They were the most affordable estimate by far, and were quick, communicative and efficient.
Then a few months later we had a plumbing disaster with our house's drain system leaking under our crawl space. Robert was super quick to come out and diagnose the problem, and uncovered some major issues we were glad to have addressed for good.
I had an estimate and potential start date within 24 hours, and he also recommended a great restoration company. His team uncovered other issues after excavating the site (the original leak had cracked our main sewer line), but they addressed that too and had it all done on the original timeline- they're great and underpromising and over delivering! While it was a totally unexpected expense and left us in a rental for a few days, Robert & co were fast, communicative (we got photos and videos of everything they were seeing) and had us back in the house asap.
These guys are great! Mr. Sewer Rooter fixed my original sewer line issues and now they come once a year for maintenance.
Henry and Victor were over this morning to maintain my sewer line and help with some interior plumbing issues. They really take such pride in their work making sure that it was done right.
After the job they cleaned up their work area. Always with a smile on their face and plenty of enthusiasm.
After the job this morning, I took this photo of Henry and Victor in front of their beautiful van! Had a great experience with Mr. Sewer Rooter 2 years ago for some basic hydro-jetting and a cam inspection.
However, I recently used them again for 2-year maintenance and explicitly asked for a digital copy of the video at least 3x. Never received a video, despite multiple promises.
Hydro-jetting was suspiciously quick (10 min) compared to years' past. And after they found a crack in my line, there was absolutely zero follow up on what the next steps were.
$425 for a 10 minute job, no digital footage (despite multiple requests), and no follow up from staff on what to do next. I get hydro-jetting and cam work done every 2 years and after this experience, I would 100% not use this company again.
I'd urge you to find someone else as well. Robert and team are all extremely knowledgeable professionals who will take the time to walk you through the issues they find and ensure that you have all of the information they need to move forward with a well thought out (and executed!) long term solution.
They will also send clear pictures and videos of their work with explanations if you can't be there to see the action (as was the case for me). Super pro! Thanks Robert, Hugo / team! Incredible work done by Robert team.
I called him on a Thursday at 4pm to come and install a clean-out to finish a line inspection to sell the house. Robert told me his price right away and he could come Friday at 11am.
Henry showed up at 11am sharp the Friday. Worked all day to dig about 4.5'.
Was too late to complete the job Friday so he came back Saturday at 8am with Robert and his tools as they had a hard time locating the pipe precisely. At 2pm everything was done, clean and good to go.
Price on the invoice was the one given over the phone. Thanks Robert and Henry.
Would work with you for any sewer job. Responsive and professional.
Robert and his crew replaced a section of pipe that was underneath a brick patio. Robert was very patient and understanding as I figured out what I wanted to do with the torn up square of the brick patio.
They worked quickly and cleanly. I would call them again for future needs.
Fabulous company to have come out and check your sewer line. Prompt, responsive and nice.
Would highly recommend to all persons and Realtors. Robert was very responsive and helpful.
I told him my problem and he quickly diagnosed it (and his fix did the job). His pricing was the best I got through the Yelp quote request system for hydrojetting.
He was also very kind, professional, and reliable. I'll be going back to home next time.
We had an issue with sewage suddenly backing up into our yard. I called many places but Mr Sewer Rooter was the quickest to respond and have someone out almost immediately.
They were friendly, quick, and gave me a rundown of what went wrong and how to do a much more permanent fix (we had a tree growing into a clay pipe that was blocking up the path to the city hookup). They also gave me a competitive quote for that work whenever we decide to go ahead with the work.
I spoke to three different companies for my new sewer line and liner and Robert was the way to go . Very thorough , honest and knowledgeable.
His crew , esp Hugo , were terrific . Hard workers , prompt and cleaned up after the huge job .
Would Highly recommend! Used this company for a job a while back. My estimate went from $200 to $10,000.
They seemed upset when I obviously went to get a second opinion from someone else. We did have to go with them since the connection to the city's main line was broken.
They charged us for traffic guards, repaving the sidewalk, and a bunch of other frivolous stuff. Then, they didn't provide any of that! No traffic guard was there and I had to call them back out to get them to pave the sidewalk which was uneven and a tripping hazard - even though I paid for all of that in the contract! Then they dragged their feet for 6 MONTHS to file the final paperwork with the city too.
I called repeatedly to get them to file it and finally they did. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will charge you for everything and not provide the services they bill you for.
In response to your comment: Yup, and this response is exactly the costumer service you should expect from this company. Well, we did it? Yeah, after I called and told you it was subpar! And you dragged your feet for 6 months...
I had to call at least 7 different times to get you to do what you were supposed to do the first time. That's unreliable.
Bottom line. We had our sewer lined, a tophat installed, and a piece of sewer pipe replaced in 2020.
The review is overdue, but Mr Sewer Rooter did a timely and thorough job obtaining permits, doing the repair, and seeing to it that the front yard was put back to the best of their ability after the job was done! No follow up, no follow thru, Hire someone to respond to the incoming calls , They came out and educated me on how to be a plumber, so it wasn't a waste of my time. I highly recommend Robert from Mr.
Sewer Rooter. He came out to give me a free estimate.
I had several plumbers provide estimates for the issue, but I really trusted Robert because he showed me exactly what the issue was and what they needed to do to repair it. His estimate was also the most reasonable.
The repair was completed this morning and I'm very happy with the result. Robert and his team installed a new drain cleanout and backflow valve for my new house.
They worked hard and did an excellent job. Highly recommended! Guys are great! Never have any issues with them.
Always trying to figure out how to make it work. Whatever it takes! Great company Robert came out to my older home in Glendale, and he and his team quickly diagnosed the problem.
This was no easy task, given the age of the home, and the largely illogical lay-out of the main line as it traversed and disappeared under complex hardscape. Robert and his team tracked the trajectory of the main line using a camera and transponder, and then presented various options on-site to remediate the problem.
They also installed a new clean-out so that future maintenance and diagnosis would be easier. Robert and Henry arrived on time for the work, and they were extremely diligent in solving the issue in a timely fashion.
My best friend from childhood owned a plumbing company for many years, and so I am very familiar with plumbing-related issues, and the bad rap that plumbing companies can often receive. As an attorney by trade, I also place a high value on professionalism and communciation.
Robert was exceptionally professional and forthright. He was also extremely communicative throughout the entire process and deferential to my family's finances under the circumstances.
His quote for the proposed work was extremely reasonable. I give Robert and his team the highest, unqualified vote of confidence, and I will absolutely utilize them for future plumbing-related services.
Louis came to hydrojet my sewer line. He came just before the appointed time and was very friendly, fast and efficient.
When he was finished, he showed me the camera feed and identified the areas in the line where the root intrusions occurred and were cleared out. Thank you Louis! Highly recommended.
I highly recommend this company for its professionalism, workmanship, and knowledge. They have been referred to me down the network from our realtor so already it was a huge plus.
We were assigned Javier, and he is very solid in his expertise. He took care of us through the whole process of replacing our old clay main line and hydro jetting the cast iron pipes.
Never batted an eye to any tedious series of questions we had, and meticulously explained every detail with a passion for his profession. They stand by their work with what I believe to be a dependable warranty, something I found lacking in other companies.
Long story short, we bought an old-house with clay pipes older than my Mom. I found Rob through a referral from a colleague who used Mr.
Sewer Rooter about 10 years ago and has experienced no problems. Taking her advice, I contacted Rob and began negotiations.
It took several months of reviewing bids, but I had a good feeling about Rob. When he came to look at my sewer line, he was on-time, professional, and very honest about what to expect re: time and cost.
Out of all the contracts we reviewed, Mr. Sewer Rooter's materials' warranty was the best.
Best of all, he was open to several contract amendments to ensure we were both protected; some contractors might not be too happy about that, but Rob was cool about it. I have to note that Rob and his crew were extremely careful about the trees in my backyard and my lawn.
Unless you knew where to look, you'd never be able to tell that the area was trenched. Every single piece of mulch and rock was returned to its original position.
One of the contractors accidentally broke off a piece of my gate, and Rob replaced it without hesitation immediately. I like people who take ownership of problems, and he owned it for his team; that's the mark of an honest man.
Go with Mr. Sewer Rooter.
He's responsible, honesty, and does fine work. When we need to fix our pipes/sewers/upgrade things, we'll be sure to contact him again.
These guys did an excellent job that included digging up concrete to replace a bad pipe and I highly recommend them! Very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend for quality, reasonable price, and communication.
My boyfriend and I were referred to Robert, Mr. Sewer Rooter, by our Real Estate Agent.
Robert came out, conducted his own diagnoses to confirm what was found during our home inspection. Robert secured the required permits from Los Angeles Public Works and Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety.
The pipe burst project was executed on time and on budget with no down time. All permits were final.
We would definitely recommend them. Most importantly we would work with them again.
Robert and his team, Antonio and Miguel did a great job! Thank you! We just finished the liner installation in the clay pipe and partial cast iron pipe replacement. Thanks to Robert and Hugo, the job was done very fast in two days.
The new tech liner and 4" HDPE pipe are very appealing. I hope it could last long time so we don't need worry about the sewer problem in the long run.
If you need to fix your sewer problem, I highly recommend this company. These guys did everything from my inspections (when I was looking to purchase my home) to the actual repairs.
They put a liner in the old clay piping for the sewer and re-connected it to the main city line. Robert was responsive, fast, and trustworthy.
He answered all my questions, told me about repairs that weren't needed now but would be in the future, and then did the repairs quickly and carefully. They event changed their entry point so as not to injure the plants in the front lawn.
If you're looking for expert work done in a friendly informative manner, look no further. So I found these guys on Thumbtack.
Don replied to me asap and was very proactive in getting my business. I recently purchased an older home and needed some upgrading of the plumbing system because it didn't have a water pressure regulator.
So of course I sent out a massive amount of quotes on every single app I can find, Yelp, home advisor, nextdoor, and thumbtack. I got a lot of responses but none were as proactive and approachable as Don was.
Prior to Don, I actually got a couple of other companies to come out and give me an estimate. Honestly the bids were pretty similar, but what won me over was Don's professionalism and friendliness.
He's always cracking jokes to ease my nervousness cause he knows I'm a first time home owner and I'm worried about everything. Having just bought a house, money is a little tight for me, so Don let me know what issues I should prioritize and what could wait.
Since I am a complete newbie at this homeownership thing, I wanted to get the work permitted and Don said he totally understands and got it done asap included in this estimate! Anyways, Don came out and gave me an estimate and immediately sent me a contract. They were the only company who sent me a detailed contract.
They also used DocuSign too which was great! Everyone else kind of just waited for me to initiate. I asked when can this be done since I'd like to do this before moving in.
Don said the next day they can start and they finished within the estimated time frame with a couple hours to spare. I met with the two plumbers who would be working on the project, Hugo and this younger gentleman who unfortunately I did not get the name of.
They were a bit on the quieter side but Hugo had this aura of professionalism about him. You can tell this guy is confident in his skills.
As the project began, Don would always send me updates and pictures of how things are coming along. On the day of completion, Don let me know there were actually more issues with my house, which they had already fixed with no cost! Amazing service!! This guy is unbelievable.
I will be using these guys for future plumbing and sewer projects in the future! Sorry I'm always running late too Don! I am so glad that I found Robert on Yelp! He is very professional and responsible. I had Robert come out to check on the sewer line on Friday and he was scheduled to come out the following Monday to repair it.
On Saturday, there was a blockage and I contacted him in the morning. He immediately sent someone to check out the issue and ran a temporary fix so we can wait till Monday for the repair.
He also knows what he's doing since I talked to many plumbers and he is the only one who suggested to install another clean out at the front yard closer to the public sewer line. I highly recommend the company.
Great customer service! 5+ stars! I stupidly and unknowingly put potato peels down my garbage disposal and instantly regretted it! Thankfully I had been recommended to Mr . sewer Rooter & was sent Henry.
Who was amazing at explaining what was going to get fixed and how! He was very thorough with his job & professional. He got the job done in no time.
My Issue is fixed and will definitely recommend this business to others. Thanks again! Robert was very responsive and communicated throughout the process.
His team installed a fiberglass lining in my clients' sewer line due to cracks from large tree roots. He provided a video afterwards and gave us aftercare instructions.
As a new homeowner, I had no context for how to approach our sewer root problems. I had 3 different companies provide estimates.
Robert was the only one who was straightforward and organized. He provided one of the rarest things in my search, his honest opinion.
After being hired, they took care of permits, came out and did the work professionally. The crew was courteous.
They cleaned up all the mess at the end. They communicated well with billing and arrival times.
I'll be keeping their number for my future plumbing needs. After reaching out to another company and not receiving a response - Manuel promptly answered my call and sent back a detailed proposal immediately.
We have not had the work completed yet, but I can speak to the company's promptness and accessibility. I had an issue with the sewer line that had popped up during our home inspection, and after not hearing back from the guys who did the inspection I headed to Yelp to find someone I could trust.
Everyone I interacted with at Mr. Sewer Rooter was prompt and courteous.
I was able to get something scheduled (via e-mail, bonus points for those of us who can't take calls easily at work) on the same day I contacted them, and the guys came out a bit early to get the work done less than a week later. They finished it within just a few hours and texted me photos of the work they did (before and after).
I'm really happy with how knowledgeable the people at Mr. Sewer Rooter appear to be, and how professional they are.
I will definitely be using them as my go-to sewer company. I first contacted Mr Sewer Rooter through Yelp after requesting several quotes from different companies.
They are no nonsense and right to the point--just what you'd want from a home service company. Robert C., the owner, was able to price match other companies in our area and provide excellent service.
Tony, the plumber who serviced our drain, was very friendly and thorough in his explanations of what he was doing. He even left the bathroom looking clean and neat! Would definitely get in touch with these guys again in the future.
Thanks! Robert and his team installed a bullhorn clean-out at our new home on short notice. He and his team were professional and thorough.
He provided us with a video and maintenance plan. At the end, his team, even watered some of our plants.
Highly recommend. They help me to run the camera and the guys is so nice.
He had done extra job than normal. highly recommend We hired Mr.
Sewer Rooter in August 2018 when our sink started to back up and the washing machine stopped draining. After taking a look, Mr.
Sewer Rooter told us we needed to replace all the plumbing under the house, which we agreed to do, and paid for. The plumbers left a joint unglued, causing a water leak under our house, which we did not discover until January 2019.
They did come repair this problem 72 hours after being notified (meanwhile, we could not use the kitchen). However, the sink still backs up whenever we wash the dishes.
Original problem not fixed or addressed. On time quality help at reasonable prices.
Specialize in sewers. Free estimates, great communication & patience.
Robert and his team came on time as requested and got our drain cleaning done by hydro jetting. He was professional, completed the job in time, communicated the cleaning done and showed a proof through the camera, the final price was the same as the estimate and the job was done at an effective price too.
Will surely recommend them for any drain cleaning or any of their jobs. Looking forward to do some cast iron changes in the future.
They replaced a sewer lateral in the street for us. They also lined the existing clay pipes leading up to it.
Pricing was reasonable. Robert worked really hard to make sure he fit us into their schedule since we were under a time crunch.
We got a daily morning text message to keep us up to date with the progress. Always very professional.
Highly recommend. The main line to our home is chronically prone to root intrusion and I usually need to call for a rooter/hydrojetting abut every 9 months or so.
I called Mr. Sewer Rooter early on a Saturday when we noticed our shower drains were backing up.
The operator was able to send a team over the same day due to a cancellation on their schedule. Jose and Alex showed up and were well equipped to handle the job.
They were able to show me on their camera an issue of severe root and possible branch intrusion. I appreciated them informing me of their concern of continuing with the hydrojetting due to the unknown structural integrity of the clay pipe.
They continued with the hydrojetting with great care and caution and were able to clear the obstruction without any damage to the line. I was immediately able to run my dishwasher and washing machine without any residual issue.
Over all, they were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I have hired various plumbers in our area for this job and have never used the same business twice.
So I'm confident that I have now found my new hydrojetting plumber. Thank you, Mr.
Sewer Rooter. I look forwarding to calling for our next service.
Rob and the team recently replaced our sewer line. Their price was reasonable and the job took two days.
They showed up on time and finished faster than anticipated. The office also called to check-in at the end of the first day and end of the job which I appreciated.
I'd recommend for any plumbing needs large or small. The team was quick to respond, book an appointment, and take care of the work! We had to get a hydrojet to clear out some root intrusions and blockages near the city main, it took the crew about 10-15 minutes and it was all taken care of.
The price that Robert quoted us at was the price we paid - we always appreciate it when a business is up front with their costs. We'll definitely call them again in the future! This is a great company! They came out and was actually early for the appointment.
They solved the problem and was very reasonable. I would gladly use them again.
I've had several people cancel on me. But, this company was great! I can't say enough good things about my experience with Robert and this company.
I set out looking for estimates to replace an old clay sewer pipe with root intrusion on the property we just purchased. I reached out via email and Robert was very quick to respond and gave a very reasonable estimate based on the sewer report.
When we were finally ready to move forward, several months later, I reached out again. He responded immediately.
He listened to our concerns, quoted a fair price, was prompt, and stayed on schedule while making sure to get proper permits. Robert also showed up at the site often to oversee progress and was easily accessible should we have any questions.
My son and I were both stuck at the house sick during the work period, but the guys were extremely considerate and communicative. Thanks for making this such an easy process for us!!! Best possible service that you can expect.
Five star service from the person who initially took the call, dispatcher and finally two amazing guys who showed up to unblock my kitchen sink. I manage a customer service department at a large software company with a 25 year experience in this field and I was amazed to see someone beat my expectation.
Not only are they great at what they do but they are above and beyond honest people. I highly recommend them.
Thank you Mr. Sewer Rooter!! I called Mr.
Sewer Rooter to give me an estimate for a new drainage system in my yard. Robert came on Thursday, May 14th and looked at my property.
He said he will have an estimate for me next day or latest on Monday. I didn't received anything on Monday.
I called the company and they told me they will have an estimate the next day which was Tuesday. Today is Friday, the May 22nd and I still don't have any estimate.
I just followed up with the company and the person who answered the phone said she will remind Robert to send me the estimate. Why would you waste someone's time to come and never give the estimate? SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Robert and his assistant Abbie were very polite, professional and efficient in hydro jetting the storm drain pipe of my rental property.
Now the flooding at my garage is gone! Mr. Sewer Rooter is now in my vendor list! The sewer line from my house to the city sewer line under the street needed to be replaced as some of the 100 year old clay pipes had disappeared or were severely cracked.
I received a list of approved sewer contractors from the City of LA and got a number of quotes for the work. Mr Sewer Rooter came up with a fair price for replacing the sewer line using the pipe bursting technique where you pull a new PVC sewer line through the old line while at the same expanding and bursting it - hence the name...
The main advantage being that only a few holes at the start and at the end of the line need to be made. The entire job took about a week and included digging a big hole about 8ft deep in the middle of the street to replace all the old pipe, and a couple of holes on my property to install a few bends and connections.
Mr Sewer Rooter took care of all permits and inspections and made this a painless experience, and I would definitely call them again next time I have sewer work that needs to be done. I used " Mr.
Sewer Rooter " on Friday. First I was looking and searching for a responsible plumber.
I called several (Other Plumbers), but each one had a story or so. " I don't work in that area( Inglewood) or My truck is in the shop, I'll get to you when I can".
Sorry My time is My Money..... So I called Mr.
Sewer Drain Specialist. The receptionist on the phone said they would be at my Duplex in an hour.
I'm the landlord. Before an hour, the Rooter employee, named Jesses L.
Called me back and told me was checking out the plumbing problem. Jesse found the problem, told me his boss would call me back with a quote.
His boss did " quickly call me back, Jesse then repaired the " Pipe Replacement problem", And What was very impressive. Jesse texted me pics of every move he made while repairing this pipeline.
He completed the job, repacked the soil that was Up- rooted, then advised me that he tested and completed the job. WOW, Now that's what I'm talking about.
Mr Sewer Rooter to the rescue? I bought an older home a couple of years ago and my sewer line had been given a clean bill of health at the time of sale based on its age. I have not had any issues until the past few weeks where there has been some backup and slow drain in the bathroom and kitchen.
My trusted plumbers rooter recommendation fell through so I was left to search Yelp for other options. Of the 3 local businesses that I reached out to, Mr.
Sewer Rooter (Alejandro) quickly responded and visited my home the same day to assess the situation. The immediate problem was a small section of nearby hedge roots that had grown into the line.
It was recommended that the entire sewer line (cast iron) under the house and to the public sidewalk should be replaced due to deterioration and age. Mr.
Sewer Rooter worked to provide the best price for me and was able to get to work the next day. For most of the job there were consistently 2 guys working and at one point there were 4 guys working so that plumbing could be used between Days 1 and 2 of the job.
The owner Robert even chipped in to help dig one of the holes for the pipe burst. The pipe burst process went very smoothly and the end result of the new sewer line was very high quality.
The entire team that visited my home was very nice and professional. The only suggestion for improvement is to ensure that the entire team is aware of the entire work order.
The team almost left a small section of original cast iron pipe rather than replacing the section. There was another small water line repair that was also almost overlooked.
Alejandro and his father caught the oversight and completed the full work order. Each day the team did a great job of cleaning up prior to leaving and taking trash with them.
I will use Mr. Sewer Rooter again in the future and recommend them to anyone needing sewer line service and/or replacement.
Nothing like ending the year with sewer line clog and nasty back up all over the drive way!! Originally we had somebody else come clear the line but needed further work. With some search we came across Mr.
Sewer Rooter. Robert took the time to to talk and discuss possible issues and had a team of guys ready to come the next day! Not only did his guys do exactly as discussed Robert was there on the job to throughly explain and show us what the problem was.
He and his team was nothing but professional and we will definitely be using Mr. Sewer Rooter for the work that needs to be done.
I needed a Hydro jetting done on the property. I called multiple plumber to shop around and Robert is the only one answered my call promptly and accommodate us right away.
He was communicative and showed up on time as promised. Robert and his guys did a very good job on the project with great equipment.
Robert also provided me photos and video of job. He also take time to explain everything while watching the video of the sewer line.
His price is very reasonable according to the job done. I highly recommend Robert and will call him again if we needed a plumber.
Alex P. Tremendous service by Robert and his crew.
I had a gigantic tree in front of an investment property. Property had been vacant for an extended period and roots grew completely through the line.
Mr. Sewer Rooter, re-routed the sewer line and connected it to another section of the main line in the street, 12 feet underground.
Fast, professional and flexible. I'm a developer full-time and investor part-time, so I know where of I speak! These guys know what they're doing and Robert gets things done timely and keeps his commitments.
Excellent work! Using a different company, we had an inspection on the property done as part of our closing and looked for a recommendation on how hard we should push at closing based on the inspection for our sewer line. We subsequently went to jet the line, for maintenance, with said company, and low and behold we needed a major repair.
Given that we had asked for an opinion during the close process, we decided to not use that same company again for the actual repair and decided to shop around. We hired Mr.
Sewer Rooter at the recommendation of a neighbor and couldn't have been happier (outside of needing a fuller repair than anyone could have anticipated!). Don was very communicative and outlined the scenarios that could take place as they came in to jet and access the line.
I felt as though they were extremely transparent on the pluses and minuses of each of our options and looked for numerous ways to help us with costs as well, given the surprise of needing to replace the saddle at the city connection. On top of having to deliver unfortunate news and doing that in an appropriate manner, Don also took the time to return to the site to give us a repair video for our records and answered numerous questions around the property (a possible shower pan leak, french drain near our slab, future renos for a separate in-law structure) as we are new homeowners (vs previous condo owners).
I found his willingness to go this extra mile the icing on the cake for a tough sewer repair scenario and this is what would make me hire them again for any plumbing/sewer repairs or renovations we might have in the future. Called these guys in for a sewer inspection.
They were courteous, responsive and cheaper than everyone else. Great experience.
Robert and his entire team were extremely professional and easy to work with, from scoping the project to completion. He gave me a couple alternatives and did not try to BS me into the more expensive option.
There are a lot of salty characters in the plumbing business, but not Robert. He was courteous, articulate, looked me in the eye and gave a firm handshake.
I would not hesitate to hire them again. I have worked with Mr.
Sewer Rooter (point person-Robert Chamul) on several different projects. Robert and his team are extremely competent, easy to work with and very communicative.
They are honest. They show up when they say they will.
If there is a slight delay, Robert informs you via text or Vmail. They complete their jobs well and in a timely fashion.
When they leave, it is cleaner than when they started. In addition, their prices are markedly better than their competition.
They are licensed and bonded. I have another project to be done later in the year.
They are my go to company for every sewer related issue. Contract is already signed.
Compare for yourselves, this company stands above the rest. This is not a fake review.
Be smart and get multiple bids for your plumbing job! I normally don't take the time to write reviews. However, I want to help others by saving them some aggravation and money! Buyer Beware of Mr.
Sewer Rooter and Owner Robert, who will jack up your bill by charging you for unnecessary work! They charged $1600 to replace a 3 ft section of plastic pipe and some unnecessary work (I know now) in my home. I found our later when I hired a different plumber at my home and asked him how much he would have charged for the exact same job of replacing the 3 ft pipe and he said $700! Argh! I learned an expensive lesson, ALWAYS get multiple bids! Robert and his crew replaced several sewer lines from our home to the city connection.
The job required exposing the sewer line joint connections which involved digging several large holes and removing and replacing carefully placed pavers. The team worked 4 days with fine attention to quality.
I hand it to the crew for working tirelessly to make sure the pavers looked as good as when they were removed. Robert's office staff is a pleasure to work with.
Hopefully, we won't require sewer work again. However, if we do, we're calling Mr.
Sewer Rooter. We are redesigning our back yard and tearing up about 60% of the square footage and thought this would be a good time to check out the main sewer line for the home (our sewer goes thru the backyard to an alley).
Called in 4 services to get an understanding of the situation and their fixes. A couple just quoted for jack hammer and replace.
Two of them quoted for the pipe liner (obviously, a better choice). Robert came out and spend a good amount of time going over the project with me including a clean out at the back of the yard for my RV.
After the concrete etc from the back yard was removed, we scheduled Mr SewerRooter. They dug in right away and took care of business.
As in all projects, a couple of turns came up, but all were navigated and the project completed. We are Happy with the results and the price was competitive.
Thanks Robert and his Crews! This company's great! They flawlessly finished a big job, excavating and replacing two large sections of broken pipe in half the time they thought it might take. They were really nice, great at explaining all the details of the sewer line issues and multiple options to solve those problems.
Their prices were fair and they were real transparent about their costs. I'd recommend to anyone.
Thanks! We bought a home and found a major sewer leak. We were recommended to Mr.
Sewer Rooter by the sewer line inspector we hired. We could not be happier with their professionalism, customer service, quality work and very fair and reasonable pricing.
Don't waste time looking for another company. If you need sewer work, these guys are teh best.
BTW, this is my second review ever on Yelp and I am happy to post it. Great companies need recognition.
Hands down the best sewer service I have ever used. They were accommodating to my schedule, showed up EARLY, were incredibly informative and helpful from start to finish.
I am so happy I called them and I would highly recommend using them for any of your needs. My experience working with Mr.
Sewer goes back many years. I have been using their hydrojet services on an annual basis to maintain my sewer line free of roots and debris.
Recently, I had a mainline repair and added a liner. My experience was wonderful.
Robert explained the process after his inspection and promptly provided a reasonable estimate for the necessary repairs. After speaking with several companies, I chose Mr.
Sewer Rooter for the job. Yesterday Antonio and his team came out.
They were on time, worked clean and extremely polite and respectful. Great crew!!! My experience was 100% positive.
Thanks to Mr. Sewer Rooter! Highly recommended.
I Mr. Sewer Rooter based upon a recommendation from my real estate agent.
I purchased a Spanish-style duplex that was built in 1930, and during my inspections I identified that the property had a crack in the clay pipe that attaches to the city line. Also, the property only had one small diameter clean-out in an inconvenient location.
I called Mr. Sewer Rooter to get a quote for repair of the cracked pipe and the installation of a new two-way clean-out.
I got quotes from a couple other companies, and their bid for the project was the most competitive. Customer service was excellent, all the way from getting a quote, to scheduling to payment.
The crew showed up on the job at 8am sharp and finished earlier than I expected. I will be sure to use them for any future projects.
Had a kitchen sink clog a week and a half ago. It clogged again this week, BUT they came back out ran the snake again at no charge.
I took their suggestion to have my pipes flushed to avoid future issues, which I did. Very happy with both visits because the plumbers were very good about not making a mess and cleaning up what mess was created.
Need to call them back to do a sewer main sweep, so I'll never have to call them again. ;) I would recommend.
They came out in the pouring rain. He did a great job hydro jetting my sewer line and also video the before and after of it for me and provide an estimate next day for other work I was considering doing.
I had a very large sewerline install job - somewhere along the lines of 300 foot run going as far as 10 feet deep to find the lateral. After getting estimates from 5 to 6 other Sewerline installers, I was feeling very defeated.
The other companies estimates made ZERO sense along with ridiculous bids PLUS a lack of comprehension of what was really required to finish the job. I called Mr Sewer Rooter and Robert came out the very next day.
He was the only person to give a fair estimate, ask intelligent questions, and operate in good faith. Robert's crew is absolutely the best! They came out immediately, dug the appropriate grade, Shored where required, put clean outs where needed and then some, and passed inspection with ease...he made everything stress free with ease! He really was a lifesaver and easy to work with and went way ABOVE AND BEYOND for me as he would anybody.
He also was able to cooperate with the plumber and various other subs on site - he trenched for a gas and water line...It's very rare in this type of business to have ethics, professionalism, and guys that really know what they're doing. Robert and his company deserve 10 stars.
I would hire Robert and his team again - the only sewerline Company to even consider! We had quite a tricky sewer line replacement to do, invoking city permits and retaining walls on a hillside. Robert came out, made a proposal and executed accordingly.
His guys were professional and nice to deal with. A winner.
Robert is a real professional who I was really looking for!! I've had headache with a recurring sewer problem since I bought my house three years ago. I tried several different plumbers, but they were not really helpful.
After I had decided to replace the main sewer line for permanent result, I was concerned if I could find a reliable professional for the work. I searched Yelp for plumbers with good reviews and I planned to contact several plumbers for estimate and pick the best one.
Mr. Sewer Rooter (Robert) was my first try.
Then I didn't even call any other plumbers since I talked with him. I felt like he was different from other plumbers I experienced before.
He was very responsive and patient with my many questions, and he quickly came my home for free estimate. So I decided to move forward with him and I was right.
He did well what he exactly promised to do. His team was also nice and professional too.
I would recommend Mr. Sewer Rooter to anyone who has a sewer problem!! He is a real help! Came within 3 hours to fix my non working toilet.
My employees were super thankful :) Reasonable rates and great service! These guys were great! The sewer line leading from my house to the street was quickly deteriorating and had become overrun with weeds. Robert, Manuel, and the team estimated that it would take 3 days to dig, flush the pipes, and insert a liner...
they were done in 2. They were very fair priced, quick, and communicative.
Would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs sewer work done! I bought a bank owned property and for over almost 2 years I have had sewer problems, and began my "investigation" about liability etc before I decided to go through with this big project of connecting to the city sewer. I was connected to the neighbor's house behind me- tons of problems.
The neighbors have a million hedges and 2 palm trees and not to mention they didn't want me to repair the broken line, rather to connect to the city on my own. Awful liability issues I've run into, I maybe going to court over this.
So the problem with my drains was so bad I'm embarrassed to list all the things I was doing to avoid too much water going down the drains. I began getting new estimates and to my blessing Mr Sewer Rooter matched the middle bid I obtained.
I had gotten 4 bids; they're not the lowest, but he worked with me. Also, since we had to excavate in the street which is super pricey, what was a huge decision was that he helped me get 0% financing for 1 year for the remainder of the balance.
It took a full week, but they took care of it all- The crew that did the job was amazing, they were nice, courteous and when I didn't understand why the line went a certain route, the foreman explained to me. I know they knew what they were doing but I wanted to understand why.
What's great was that although we did run into a problem after the line was completed, (my kitchen was connected to neighbor's sewerline in a different place) and when I found out, I called, they came and fixed the problem and fortunately at no additional cost. Don is cool, he came out to run the camera also to show me from the inside how things looked.
Remember, a big expensive project like this you need to have the right license classification depending on the city. City of Los Angeles requires C42 in order to excavate in the street- There is a specific list of "approved" contractors and when I had gotten an estimate from Martin Bros.
turns out their license was expired.. no idea why they're still on the list with the city.
Mr Sewer Rooter has an actual structural store location and is backed by their bond. They were professional and personable.
I highly recommend, you can use they're service with confidence. I'm not sure if they take credit cards, but I have a feeling they do since he helped me get approved for a line of credit to pay for the job.
The most expensive part of the job is the excavation and laying of the lateral connecting to the city line. They stand behind their service, and guarantee the work.
Used Robert and his team to install plumbing for a stackable w/d - have used his sewer services and now will use their plumbing services. Highly recommend because of professionalism, quality and follow-up.
This is an "old school" business, with men who know their field and perform their work diligently and cheerfully. Robert, Don and Alejandro were polite, friendly, and treated me like a customer to be respected.
We had to have our whole sewer line replaced after another company - RITZ - ripped us off royally and caused way more problems than they fixed. After 4 years of trying unsuccessfully to get them to fix the problems, getting the CA Licensing Board involved, having them cited and getting their bond to pay us damages, we found these "rooter angels" who had the remedy we needed at a price the bond payment would cover.
So now I don't have to go to small claims court to try to get back the rest from that awful company. Everything passed inspection with no issues.
I highly recommend this company for any major work you need done.'''.
