I recently had to replace my pressure regulator valve and contacted a few plumbers to get estimates and time frames.
Trident had availability when I need them and their price was fair. Vlad and his assistant (my apologies I forgot the assistant's name) were the plumbers assigned to my job; They were both professional and courteous.
Vlad explained what they were going to do and got quickly to work on replacing the valve. They worked tirelessly digging up and removing the old valve.
Despite the heat and humidity they were happily working together to replace the valve and even dealt with interruptions from my son who was very curious about the work taking place outside of his window. They answered his questions and didn't seem annoyed by his curiosity.
Once the job was complete Vlad showed me the new valve and explained how to operate it, he also explained the invoice and asked if I had any questions. I don't know much about plumbing, but the quality of the work looked top notch.
They cleaned everything up and I couldn't even tell anyone had been in my flower bed. I was really impressed.
Lastly, the inspector for the city of Frisco came out to inspect the job and even commented on how clean and professional the new installation was. I highly recommend Trident plumbing and I will use them for all of my future plumbing needs.

Well done! Had Trident out today for flushing two water heaters and also a sink/dishwasher issue, they were amazing! Matthew was super friendly, super professional, and super helpful! He explained a few things to my husband and I about our faucet and sink issues that we didn't know and gave us some tips for ongoing maintenance that we will definitely do. They called when they were on the way to give us a heads up on timing and they actually got the jobs done quicker than we anticipated.
The pricing was exactly what they quoted over the phone. This was our first time to use Trident but I will call them again when the next thing comes up.

I had 2 hot water heaters installed in the attic. Communication with the installer as well as the lady who answers the phone were fantastic.

Short and sweet story first of all they don't cut corners, legit and has integrity behind their business. They won't be the cheapest or the most expensive but they will get the job right so you won't have headaches later on! The city inspector even commented that whoever did this job went above and beyond to make sure all was done correctly and to last.

originally I thought when one of my sprinklers burst that it had something to do with the recent plumbing job they did so I called and asked if they can check it. Guess what? They came by! No excuses, no hassle, no delay! They set a date and time and made it! Unbelievable! And what's really mind blowing is they did this twice! 1st call and visit has nothing to do with the plumbing they did and was given advise how to fix that (quick fix), 2nd call and visit again I feel had nothing to do with what they did but they FIXED IT anyway and inspected all the other sprinkler and drips to make sure all was good! I don't know about you but they made me a permanent new customer from here on! We were first-time customers of Trident Plumbing and we were extremely pleased with the whole experience. They were taking care of our next door neighbor who had a problem and as he (the plumber) was finishing up I approached him to get a 2nd quote on some work I'd been planning with another plumbing company.
Well just let me say that the plumber from Trident (Steven) blew me away with his knowledge and customer orientation. We needed a new hot water tank and he was able to give me a quote right there that easily beat my former plumber's estimate.
Moreover, Steven took the time to explain absolutely everything he/they were going to do as part of the job. When he and his assistant (CJ) came to do the job they were exceeding professional, thorough and fastidious throughout the process.
Overall a great experience. I highly recommend.

Schulyer, from beginning to end was informative, kind, and helpful. He replaced my faucet and discussed why it wasn't working properly, as well as gave me has much info as possible on the potential costs up front.
I had some other projects/mini problems with some other things and he gave advice on those. In the end, he fixed the faucet and I was able to fix the handle on my toilet (from his advice).

I found Trident from YouTube video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghcPsnSL8mk , describing the exact problem with exact symptoms of high pressure: knocking pipes, premature wear on faucets and appliances. This house had 2 major floods in 2012, and I was surprised the prior homeowner was not told about the excessive 120 PSI pressure that likely caused all the damage to begin with.
For the PRV, Trident went above and beyond in detail to meet Frisco specific code requirements, pulling permits, and cleanup. The original PRV was buried 4 feet deep in the flower bed in complete mud, and didnt have the right kind of shutoff valve.
The new PRV was installed in a covered box, with pea gravel, and less than 6 inches from ground level. They hauled away a bush that had to be removed and old mulch/leaves.
Schuyler also set the PRV to a preferred 75 PSI. Trident also has Frisco inspectors available for facetime inspection for same day approval of the work which prevented follow up appointments.
Schuyler also replaced the hot water expansion tank because the air bladder had burst from the 120PSI noted from my inspection report. No more knocking pipes and water pressure spraying outside of sink drains.
Schuyler also replaced a toilet shutoff valve and gave advice on replacing two toilets based on AHS warranty estimates. Very pleased with the work.

WARNING!!! Last week I had Trident come out to fix leak with a tub overflow connection at a rental I own in Frisco. The plumber opened the wall, which was needed to access the overflow.
When he was done he had snapped off the overflow pipe and broken the tee where it was connected. Then I was told it would cost $2500 more to tunnel under my home to fix the pipe they broken.
I felt they had done enough damage and told them not to continue work. Since the wall was open I could see the damage that they had done.
Snapping off a 20 year old PVC pipe is easy to do, but this was an avoidable problem. Any entry level plumber would not have done this.
Luckily I was able to the fix the broken tee myself and $100 in parts later everything was done correctly (by me). I was ripped off by these guys, they turned a simple fix into a plumbing fiasco and then they tried to charge me for work that was not needed (tunneling under my house).
In my 35 years of owning rental properties I have never seen anything this outrageous. I would never use these guys again.
My main water line was broken and flooded up to the water meter. I called so many plumbing companies, but they all said it would be a couple of weeks before they could come out.

I have used Daniel (owner) for over 5-6 years now (back when he worked for another company). He is super friendly, VERY smart and knows a LOT about plumbing.
I like that he stays on top of technology and innovation in the plumbing business. I am a DIY guy and he happily works with me and helps me save $.
I also like that Trident Plumbing is MUCH cheaper than the other company I used to use (and still recommend for quality work.) but at close to half the cost I'll choose Trident for same quality driven work. This last visit I detailed exactly the work I needed done and was told the low estimate would be a minimum of $210, but ended up paying under $180.
I was pleasantly surprised and very happy. I called for an estimate on a tub repair, and I needed some PEX barb connections put on some copper pipes where I was changing out fixtures.
He was able to FIX the tub, instead of an estimate and get the other fittings installed fast and at a very budget friendly price. I don't trust a lot of companies, unless I've continually used them multiple times with good results and consistently hearing the correct terminology/advise.
(I don't know everything but I know a lot about repairs) Sometimes I want a plumber to fix certain things and when I do need a plumber Trident Plumbing will be that company I call. I really value the service I received, and I'm so grateful to have one more craftsman that I know I can call on in a time of need.

Again I still have high praise for the other company (which I don't want to cross promote on this review.)...but you are going to pay almost DOUBLE!!! Plumbers are not cheap....not many are willing to get their hands messy in some of the stuff a plumber must deal w/, and their work requires expensive tools in / training in some cases.... insurance/licensing.
(do not skimp on a plumber that isn't licensed and insured.) Anyway... most are more likely to write a bad review when they feel wronged, vs people go out of their way to write a good one....I like to support businesses that I feel are really good, because I want them to stay healthy and do well so they will be there when I need them! If you read this far...at the very least invest in giving them a call...they wave the fee to come to your house for the first visit, and you won't regret it! Awesome service!!! Our washer and sink were backing up and flooding the laundry room and kitchen. They came out same day and cleaned out the drains.

Very explanatory and thorough. They located the main shut off water valve to my house which was under about a foot of dirt in my flowerbed.
While here and under the same trip charge they took care of other small items on my list. They have been scheduled to come back to install a new shut off valve and while I don't have any comparison prices I believe the price to be reasonable.
Recommend Trident. Daniel came to our house to give me a quote to handle all the plumbing parts of our master bedroom bath.
We wanted to remove the walk-in shower and replace the fiberglass shower pan which never looked clean no matter what I used to clean it and remove the Jacuzzi corner tub that my wife never used with the jets. We replaced the shower with tile and a new frameless glass shower enclosure.
The new tub was a Jacuzzi oval free-standing with a Moen free standing tub filler. The shower needed a new shower base which Trident (Daniel, Steven, and Evan doing the work).
The new shower base turned out fantastic. Great slope giving it perfect drainage.
The tub needed the drain moved and the water supply lines relocated. Lots of jack-hammering but in the end, the new locations were exactly where they needed to be.
Today the tub and tub filler were put in place and the results were better than we imagined. Suggestions from Daniel and Steven gave us confidence that the project would turn out to be a 1st class job.
Trident's quote was complete the day Daniel made it. The only pricing differences were items that didn't need to be done and were deleted from the quote and items that I added to the project.
No surprises!! No haggling!! It was a comfort to know that the end cost was exactly what I expected. I have a feeling that Trident Plumbing and Daniel have a bright future in our area based on the attitude and service the entire Trident crew had with me.
Trident Plumbing was a true life saver today. We were moving out of our house and while disconnecting our water line to our fridge, surprise I discovered the water shutoff valve didn't work properly and water was spraying everywhere.
