I had a main line blockage and called their technician over. The technician came on time and seemed interested in solving the problem.

But as soon as he took a look at the clean-out, he said he would need to replace the clean-out in my house to clear the blockage because the clean-out was "too narrow" for the cable machine to go in. He gave me a quote for 1700$ and half-a-day of work for a minor block!! I called another friend of mine who was a plumber and he used a smaller cable machine to clear the block in 5 minutes and charged me 300$.

Needless to say, I will be staying away from RPS in the future. I came to know RPS from another yelp review.

Although they charge for coming out I think it's well worth it. My bathtub water stopper is not working, stuck there, Tim was able to swap out the pipes from crawlspace.

The price is very reasonable. The house is really old and the cast-iron pipes are in really bad shape.

Over the years every plumber that looked at this suggested to swap all pipes in crawlspace, only Tim found out that one bathroom has newer pipes and only need to swap out partial, which cut down cost significantly. Tim finished the job in two days and send me pictures, great work! I had a major issue with tree roots obstruction.

Tim came out, diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. It was a major issue, required digging up my front yard etc.

We are extremely satisfied with the work provided by Tim Vu and his crew Angel and David at RPS. When our sewer backed up, an inspection by RPS hours later revealed mud inside our sewer line.

Our home had its sewer line redone by the previous owner less than 10 years ago, but it failed at a joint due to bad workmanship. Muddy soil from recent rain was clogging the line.

We opted for a full replacement. The previous job was done without permits and without a property line cleanout -- and the replacement would be with permits, with a property line cleanout, and would fix all of the previous line's grading issues.

The cost was very reasonable for the amount of work needed. We were quoted a similar amount by another plumber who would not have pulled permits.

RPS completed this major project on time and on budget. They even were extra careful to work around our landscaping by relocating small plants, using care excavating around trees, and using pipe burst as much as possible to avoid digging up the entire line.

The pipe burst occurred during a massive rain storm and they stayed late into the evening to have everything ready for an early city inspection the next morning. The team restored our landscaping and took care to ensure the backfill was properly compacted.

After the work was complete, Tim was super helpful in providing statements required by our insurance company to have the work reimbursed. This was in addition to extremely detailed notes and photographs (over 40 pages including photos) of the work in progress Tim and his team already provided.

We are especially thankful for all of these details because it clearly demonstrated evidence of a covered loss. We would have been unable to access thousands of dollars of insurance benefits if these detailed photographs were not provided.

We are about to begin more work on our property and I am very glad to be extending a properly graded and installed system which was inspected by the city with proper permits. Realize great service with a friendly staff.

Prices were reasonable and they were honest with me every step of the way. Very happy with Ribbs.

and another gentlemen came out to inspect my home and sure enough they found out that I needed a sewer cleanout installed on the property since there wasn't one present. So I setup an appointment to have that installed and the very next day David M.

came out and installed my new sewer cleanout. In less than 48 hours they came out to my home, made an inspection, setup an appointment, came back and completed the work to be done.

In my case, I was told I needed to replace a second part of the cartridge in the faucet. I bought the part and replaced it myself.

The jug was new, never opened but only had about 2" of water left in it. Somehow it had sprung several leaks which is where the water was coming from, not a leaky pipe.

I cannot say enough good things about Tim and his crew. I recently purchased an old home, and I knew the pipes were old.

Since I was going to do other renovations, I decided to update the plumbing at the same time. Tim came out and performed an inspection, and gave me very clear recommendations.

He explained everything so I understood why he was recommending the updates. He was able to give me a quote within 48hrs, and the quote was very clear; every service was broken down.

We wanted to do a water re-pipe, and I was calling plumbers to get the house inspected. R.P.S charge $49 for coming over and inspecting, while many do not.

From reviews, R.P.S looked good, and I thought to get a quote and hand them over the job. Plumber Xavier Galvez came over.

Rather than inspecting the house professionally he simply kept saying three words -- "This is weird". He didn't want to go into crawl space, didn't want to do any "real" inspection.

Please avoid inspection from this company especially Xavier Galvez. We had a leak coming from our toilet which we tried to fix ourselves by replacing the wax ring.

During that repair we found the flange was broken and needed replacement. We reached out to R.P.S (and several other providers) for a quote.

R.P.S. was very responsive, extremely courteous, and did very high quality work.

David was on time to our appointment window, wore shoe covers to protect our house, did a quick eval of the situation, and was able to repair immediately during the consult. He was very polite and professional! The repair came with a 5 year warranty which is great, especially since we chose to do the partial repair rather than a full replacement of the flange (planning to remodel soon!).

Even the invoicing process was easy, I received pictures of the work for my records and R.P.S keeps copies for reference if needed in the future as well. It was so easy to work with R.P.S I highly recommend them! Top 3 plumbers ever: Mario, Luigi, and David (from RPS plumbing) We originally called them as our water had a smell to it.

They came out, inspected our pipes, and ultimately we needed to have the house fully re-pipped (the house had original pipes from 1968 still). A big undertaking and one I know nothing about, but David walked me through everything, including showing me the inside of our current pipes (EWW!).

His team were professional, always wore masks and kept the inside of our house clean, worked quick and neatly, and did an excellent job. We are thrilled with the work they did and can actually notice a difference with our water once they were done.

After finding it, I received an initial quote but was it "reasonable"? Like most consumers, I wasn't sure but the quote was in the cost range and Tim thoroughly explained all my options. Turns out, the cost was out of pocket and the area was behind the water heater in the back of our water heater/furnace closet.

After excavation and moving the heater, they discovered the problem, a good sized hole in one of pipes underneath the flooring. The "team" (Tim, David and Angel went to work, planning, analyzing, cleaning and turned a possible 2 day job into 1, and I was more than satisfied with the superb workmanship that they did.

Service was great, they came time. Went under the house found the leak, found a second leak at the wall where water line is for the washer.

They showed me videos of the leaks, explaining everything and what was needed. The returned the next day and fixed in a timely manner.

I noticed that the toilet in my guest bathroom at my home had a slow leak last week. We tried to replace the wax ring and flange ourselves by watching YouTube videos which was a huge mistake and created more problems.

I did a search on yelp and found R.P.S. Ribbs Premier Services which had excellent reviews and called for someone to come out.

I also noticed that their location was literally across the street from my home which was a big plus and made an appointment at my earliest convenience when I could schedule time off to be home from work. The morning of my appointment, Patrick arrived right on time.

When he came out the first time, he indicated that because we had created more of a problem, they might have to cut the floor and replace the pipes, dry wall, etc. and would very expensive.

I was stressing out! He then called David to come by and ask his views if there was something they could do to avoid having to cut through the drywall, etc. After reevaluating the problem, Patrick and Ernie returned in the afternoon and was able to fix the problem without having to do any damage to the floor.

(Thank goodness!) It did take a few hours, but it was well worth it rather than having to cut down the floor, etc. After they did what they had to do, they noticed the toilet actually had to be replaced because the ceramic had a slow leak through a crack.

I went ahead and bought a new toilet, and Ernie came by to install it a week later (due to my work schedule) which works perfectly. Next time, I'll make sure to call them rather than trying to fix the plumbing problems ourselves.

Not only did they do a great job, but are also very professional, friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable of their work. So after such a great experience with the first hose bibb (see earlier review), I decided to have these guys do some other repairs that were also needed.

I needed a new wax ring on one of the toilets (plus the toilet and tank needed tightening down) and two other hose bibbs needed to be replaced. I sent them a message via their web site and didn't hear back for a couple of weeks.

Not sure what went wrong there, but they somehow never received it or never responded. Sent them an inquiry via yelp on a Saturday evening and had a reply within a few minutes.

I explained what was needed and we agreed on a timeframe Monday morning for them to come out. I mentioned that Dave had been out before and knew the property.

I also mentioned that he'd know what was needed for the hose bibbs as they were identical to the previous repair, but without me messing them up first this time. (yeah, I made a hash of trying to rebuild the first one before calling them) They sent two people out for this one...

Dave and a guy Dave was training (whose name I unfortunately forget). Anyway, Dave went to work on the hose bibbs and the other guy tackled the toilet.

(yeah, the new guy gets the worse job... RHIP I guess.) Both of them were very careful and considerate of my house at all times.

The repairs were completed very quickly, but not at all rushed. There have been no issues with the repairs and I'm again very satisfied with working with RPS.

Hopefully I won't need any more plumbing work any time soon, but if I do, these are definitely the guys I'm going to call. Local, Family Run, Friendly, and Excellent customer service at a good price.

Hard to beat that combination. I reached out for a sewer line replacement.

The initial engagement was quick. There were some hiccups in setting up an appointment for a "free" estimate, but it was quickly sorted out.

When the technician came, I was told that I needed to pay $199 for him to run his camera and figure out how much would it cost. I had clearly mentioned what service I wanted and if the estimate was "free" why should I pay for it.

Also, if their model is to assess thoroughly and then provide an estimate, they should have mentioned that upfront. It was a waste of time on both sides.

Eventually, I went with someone else, who was very professional from start to finish. Had to get a water softener tank and pressure regulator valve for the house water connection replaced.

Called in bunch of service providers but Jonathan was the guy who gave me the honest inputs and from the beginning to end was great; professional but casual enough which is a great mix. Confident but practical and gave me honest inputs.

TBH was totally surprised to see a young guy so skilled. RPS has my plumbing business going forward.

They were able to come do a free diagnostic (on a July 4th holiday) which was great as I had a rare day off. I will recommend RPS to my friends whenever they need plumbing issues fixed. Rob Used RPS a couple times, this last visit was tub waste assembly replacement, new valve to fix tub to shower water pressure, and new tub faucet fixtures etc.

It looks good, works well, and appreciate their patience and expectation setting while I tried to coordinate with another company that only does tub refinishing. I saw David initially and worked the most with Jonothan and Thomas.

Appreciate the thorough explanations, cost quoting, and review of the crawlspace etc. as part of scoping.

Only note, if you are coordinating with a separate non-plumbing company, don't mix the emails. The other company attachments somehow filter your emails out so I had to call the mainline to get back in touch and figure out why no one was replying lol.

Anyway they are great though. We had multiple issues with our water and natural gas pipes.

Another plumber quoted about $20K for the needed work. We had a couple of other plumbers in to see what they thought was needed.

Joseph checked things out for us, and gave us an estimate of about $4500 for the same work. Another plumber quoted less, but for less-comprehensive repairs.

Joseph and his team showed up in the morning and got to work. They were courteous, professional, and solved the problems.

I am very happy with the work that they did. It has been less than a week, and I hope that I am just as pleased in 5 or 10 years as I currently am with their work! Johnathan and Thomas did a great job quoting and installing a water softener I had purchased from Amazon into my home that hadn't had a softener system previously.

They ran dedicated water lines through the crawlspace to my hose outputs and irrigation lines and installed the system and drainage line in a way that worked best with my needs and the layout of the house. I reached out to 4 companies in total but I'm glad I stuck with R.P.S. Also, the two women who helped me over the phone were great with following up.

Only con is that I called around 9am and was told the technician would show up between 3-5pm. I thought I would get a call around 2:30pm to let me know the technician was on their way.

Nothing happened until 5:30pm when I called a third time to see what was going on. Because Joe's service was fast and helpful; I would still give them another call if plumbing services are needed.

We had someone from RPS come out to fix a drain. The actual work was fine; the person who came a good job identifying the source of the leak and coming up with an innovative way to repair it that prevented us from having to take on a much larger project.

My one star review is because we have been trying for the the last three weeks to get a copy of the invoice, which we need for tax purposes, and the office manager has not responded to multiple phone calls. At this point we're still waiting to hear back; if we can get a copy of the invoice/receipt mailed to us, then we'd be able to provide a review just on the quality of the work done David & Javier came out today for a cleanout backup.

I can't imagine going anywhere else for plumbing problems. We have used this business a few times and every time they are so nice, on time, respectful, they know what they are doing, and.....they don't try to overcharge you for the work they do! So many businesses up their fees as soon as they see where you live or your zip code.

RPS Ribbs is the BEST! Anyone going somewhere else is CLUELESS!! It was really easy to message through Yelp and book an evaluation. Thomas came and helped me check the kitchen sink, which has had low water pressure for years.

He did not try to overstate the issue at all, simply explained my options of installing a new faucet myself or order one and pay for installation. Going to give it a shot ourselves and call them back if the issue persists, happy to have found an honest and practical business in case more plumbing issues arise in this house.

In the latter part of 2016, my girlfriend had a major plumbing issue. We had an add on to her house, which by the way was done by a friend of mine who is the owner of his own company.

She always had problems with a line backing up. So we did some research and decided to call David ( R.

From the start, I got a "good vibe" from David. This young man came across to me as a true professional.

I believe he mentioned that he is the fifth generation of plumbers in his family and it shows. Very honest, fair and professional.

David and another gentleman took care of the problem at my gf's house without taking any shortcuts. Since then, the back up issue has not reoccurred.

I had a minor problem with my toilet leaking at the base. David told me that the wax ring would need replacing and possibly the flange may need replacing as well.

After removing the toilet, he discovered that the flange was good and all that needed replacing was the ring. I appreciate this mans honesty and work ethic.

I will most definitely be calling him for all of my plumbing issues in the future. Oh, and he upgraded the waterline with braided hoses without me even asking.

I have had a major house reconstruction after a leak, and RPS has done everything at my house from re-piping, moving a water line for my kitchen under the slab foundation, installing a main water shutoff, installing toilets, kitchen plumbing, and fixing a gas line mistake made by another contractor.

Of all the workers I've had at my house over the past 6 months, RPS stands out for their work quality and customer service. Due to old plumbing, I've used about 6 or 7 different plumbing companies over the years, and RPS is by far the best.

They also take all COVID precautions and clean up after all work. I will recommend them to anyone I know who needs a plumber and use them exclusively in the future.

No more leaks! I can finally enjoy my shower again. Prompt service, great crew (thank you Angel!) at reasonable price.

Highly recommended! Dave and Ernie were super friendly and gave fantastic customer service. They came to my house to help me with a couple of shower leaks, and while they couldn't fix my problem (because it would involve breaking the bathroom floor tiles and accessing the underneath of the shower, in other words, an entire remodeling project), they were nice enough to give good advice on several other issues we had with our new home.

Best part - they didn't charge us the service fee even though we took about 30 mins of their time. When it's time to do other projects in the home, my wife and I will be sure to contact them again.

I was looking to have my water softener installed. I had a couple of proposals from other contractors.

But David and Isaac provided a solution I was happy with. The drain pipe was not tighten properly after installation and they sent another guy and fixed it immediately.

Did great work at a good price. Skilled services in the Bay Area are all expensive, but RPS was fair for the area.

Patrick and Isaac were great! Very friendly people! They installed my faucet in superspeed and I'm very happy with the job! The silicon job was not as neat but hey they threw it in for free for me so I'm not complaining :) My bathtub faucet was leaking, so I asked for an online quote from 4-5 nearby plumbers through Yelp. RPS was the first to get back to me, so I asked them to come over to inspect the problem and provide their free estimate.

The dispatcher was very professional, and they said they would be able to come today itself, anywhere between 3-5 PM. That's about where the pleasantries ended.

As 5 PM approached, I reached out to RPS and they notified me that their plumber was running late. No big deal, I understand that happens.

The plumber shows up at 6:30 PM and says he has forgotten shoe covers and the tool to turn on and off the water flow to the house. We were able to work around that, and that was a non-issue.

Now we get to the worst part: he estimates $690 for a cartridge replacement, and $1800 for some valve-thing fix if the cartridge replacement doesn't work. We say no and he heads out.

He comes back and says he has talked to his supervisor and they can replace the cartridge for $375, but the potential $1800 fix might still be needed. We said no, bought a replacement cartridge for $50, talked to a Home Depot employee for 20 minutes, and fixed the faucet ourselves in 30 minutes.

I am 100% sure they estimated $690 and $375 based on the location and condition of our house. When I reached out to the 4-5 plumbers, one of them said they would charge $275 for a cartridge replacement online.

I would look elsewhere for your plumbing needs. Had a plumbing/gas issue @ my investment property....called RPS and they were able to confirm a date and time that worked for me.

They told me that they would call me when they were about 20 mins away...and they actually called! Unlike other places that say this and never actually do, it was good to see that this company actually followed through with what they said they would. Joe & Isacc explained the work they would be doing prior to beginning, and gave me an estimate for the services, and we even exchanged text message updates as they went along.

Overall, great communication, follow up, and service. Called this place based on the yelp reviews...the dispatch chick who answered was nice and professional...i think her name was Bernadette ..i had to ask her twice.havnt heard that name since the 80s..anyways my husband tried to fix the toilet himself which landed me having to shop around for plumbers....very stressful ..but she was very helpful...when patrick showed up to my house he was very nice and professional, got the job done right! and cleaned up his mess (which for some reason ppl who work at ur house dont like to do) id def refer this place to everyone I had a clogged sink because the garbage disposal was not working properly, and David came to our rescue.

I made my request on a Friday, and they were available on the same day. However, I requested that they come on Saturday instead to avoid taking time off work, which they kindly did.

David was respectful and wore booties without me asking. He assessed the situation, and told me it would be a quick fix rather than replacing the entire garbage disposal (whew), and sure enough he fixed it.

Thank you David! We had a somewhat complicated plumbing situation because of some corrosion. Tim was prompt, careful, and highly communicative throughout.

After taking a quick look, he quoted an initial estimate. As he dug further into the job, he realized it would take longer and cost more than originally anticipated - kept us completely appraised of every detail.

And when he fully understood time/cost, that's what he quoted and that's how long it took. He was also a super nice guy.

Arrived well within the 2 hours time slot, located and fixed our leak. While I did not get a chance to talk to David, my dad sounded pleased with the transaction.

David discounted $50 at the end of the job even though I failed to purchase a yelp voucher. This is much appreciated given my parents are on a fixed income.

We will be keeping R.P.S. contacts handy for future plumbing needs.

I used them in January for a faucet replacement. They did such a good job, when my washing machine drain pipe started to backup I called them again.

This time Thomas did the work. He explained to me what he was doing and why.

He did a great job and I highly recommend them. I stepped into the garage today and smelled gas coming out of the water heater.

I called RPS and in less than an hour Tim showed up at our place. Within 10 min he had diagnosed where the leak was, determined the parts he would need and provided an estimate for the cost of repairs.

We agreed to proceed with the repairs and about 15 min later he was done with the work. He was polite, safe (wore a mask and kept his distance) and amazingly efficient.

I don't like writing negative reviews but I can't recommend this provider, or trust their business practices. Wizard Pluming installed a pressure booster in our condo unit in Woodside, in December 2023.

The installation was a pain - they had to come back multiple times to fix issues they kept forgetting about (eg, replacing the pressure gauge, removing old parts they left behind, etc). It got done, eventually.

Once installed, the pump started making loud noises and leaking, which they ignored and stopped responding to my inquiries about. Fast forward 6 months, the hardware they installed fails altogether.

Wizard Plumbing comes to assess the issue, and quotes me an ADDITIONAL $950 to replace the pump under warranty. Highly recommend getting a different plumber.

I tried to replace an old corroded shower trim kit with a new one. I broke of the shower arm; part of the thread was stuck in the wall.

I tried to remove it but failed. I called Wizard Plumbing.

This was very helpful. Jonathan then flipped the reset switch (on the bottom of the disposer) and by the sound the disposer diagnosed that something got stuck in the disposer.

It was a tea spoon which I have promptly removed. After that, the disposer started working.

Jonathan didn't charge me anything for the visit. This is great as the problem got solved promptly, and I wasn't charged anything! I recommend Wizard Plumbing and Drain for promptness, professionalism and courtesy.

We had a great experience when the business was newer and got great personal service from its owner. But along the way we had some mishaps including a major sewer line project that involved digging up a newly landscaped backyard.

There were two sewer lines exiting the back of our house and one was overlooked. So, the second sewer line was closed off.

This lead to water backing up. Wizard Plumbing was called back to dig up our landscaped yard a second time, run a second new sewer line and replace plumbing under our house.

The final cost was about triple what we had originally been quoted. And the yard looked like it was overdue for major landscaping.

We've schedule several minor follow up service calls since then and the quality of the service varied from very professional to inexperienced. Some of this seems to be attributed to growing pains from rapid business growth.

Wizard Plumbing and Drain has always given us honest, skilled, and reliable plumbing service. Kevin Gonzalez was on time and very thorough in doing the clearing of our sewer lateral.

We appreciated the step process in diagnosing and treating the sewer lateral issue. Kevin's discussion of the various steps and further work on the sewer lateral was detailed, clear and helpful.

Miguel Gonzalez came the next day with a video camera. The camera clearly showed that the line was cleared.

It also showed a break in one of the clay pipes which needed to be addressed. He also very clearly explain what needed to be done and consequences of inaction, steps for repiping the line.

We really appreciated the great communication and time spent and clarity for explaining everything. Generally we use wizard plumbing.

Never had a bad experience until recently. We had a leaking faucet.

I called, and asked for the earliest availability and someone was sent out the next day. When I called, I said our faucet hose is broken and needs to be replaced.

I knew the brand of our faucet, and the problem. So that's the backstory.

They send someone out, he comes out and says it's going to be $350 to diagnose the issue( again, I knew the issue) but if that's their rate I'm not going to fight it. He proceeded to tell me that my faucet is dated and parts are unavailable.

Also that our shut off knobs don't shut all the way and need to be replaced. I said I don't think that an issue as we've never had a leak prior and maybe the water he heard running was the dishwasher that was going.

He called a few plumbing stores, said we couldn't get a replacement hose as they don't exist. I do have text message proof- and that we needed to buy a new faucet.

Okay cool. I agreed.

He said the turn around time was 3 weeks with the possibility to be sooner. He said he'd send a photo of the new faucet so I could approve before purchasing.

Mind you our sink is leaking. So 3 weeks isn't a quick solution.

Now it's about 5pm, assume he's off for the day, and decide to chat with the manufacturer of the faucet. Right away, I send him a photo- and he says that hose is xyz, it's available and here's a discount code.

HONESTLY not even 3 minutes into a chat and the hose is available. Then he proceeds to tell me, guy plumbing has it in stock, and I should call them.

I call guy plumbing- they have the part, they schedule an appointment for early the next morning. They show up and within 15 minutes the leaking hose has been replaced.

Nothing is leaking, the shut off valves work fine- and ultimately in less time and money to FIX THE PROBLEM than the diagnostic charge from Wizard. This hasn't been my previous experiences with wizard but if this the nonsense they're sending out, upcharging clients and lying- I'll happily take my business to honest, quick and far cheaper places like GUY.

So after 1000s of gallons of water wasted. The problem is solved and we won't be using wizard again.

We hired Wizard to replace our sewer lateral in 2018 and it worked fine for 5 years. Fast forward to 2023 when we started a large home renovation that required we provide the city with a video inspection as a condition for our renovation permit.

It failed inspection. There was a sag in the pipe and standing water visible, the connection to the city main was not replaced as it should have been, nor was a clean out installed as required by code.

It would need to be dug up and replaced. I called them out to discuss it and they were at first pledging to replace it at no cost.

The technician who did the job was known to them to have overseen subpar installations and no longer worked there. They had been "cleaning up" his work for a while, I was told.

More people came out, a second video inspection was performed and also failed to pass. Since then, no one seems to want to talk to me.

I've made many calls over the course of the past 6-8 months. They have great reviews on yelp so I was hopeful they would stand by their work and honor their reputation.

Doesn't look to be the case. Consider this in your evaluation when hiring a plumber who will do the job correctly and stand by their work.

$1,830.87 to replace leaking bathroom faucet. Had owner, who is a gravely disabled senior sign contract before starting work.

Owner is not able to understand what was being proposed. Relative called about cost.

They will not budge. Invoice follows * Angle Stops: These are the small valves under the sink connected to the water supply.

Turn both the hot and cold angle stop valves clockwise to shut off the water. If they don't turn off properly, you may need to shut off the main water supply.

* Open the faucet to relieve any pressure and let the remaining water drain. Step 2: Disconnect the Water Lines * Use an adjustable wrench to loosen the nuts connecting the water supply lines to the faucet and the angle stops.

* Have a towel or bucket handy to catch any residual water. Step 3: Remove the Old Faucet * Underneath the sink, use a basin wrench to loosen and remove the nuts holding the faucet in place.

* Once the nuts are removed, lift the old faucet from the sink. Step 4: Replace the Angle Stops * Use a wrench to remove the old angle stops by unscrewing them from the water supply pipes.

* Wrap the threads of the new angle stops with plumber's tape to ensure a tight seal, then screw them onto the water supply lines. Step 5: Install the New Faucet * Place the new faucet into the sink holes, making sure it is aligned correctly.

* From underneath the sink, screw on the mounting nuts to hold the faucet in place. Tighten them with a basin wrench.

* Apply silicone sealant or plumber's putty under the faucet base if required by the manufacturer to prevent water from seeping under the faucet. Step 6: Connect the Water Supply Lines * Attach the water supply lines to the new faucet and the new angle stops.

Hand-tighten them first, then use a wrench to snug them up. Step 7: Turn the Water Back On * Open the angle stops slowly to restore water flow.

here I am again trying to fix a clogged toilet on early Friday morning. Called in the morning at 7:30am and was told someone would be here between noon and 3pm.

They also mentioned that they are now having a membership program that the technician could explain to me live. The technician would reach out to me to confirm exact timing.

About 2pm. No communication yet.

I called again. They mentioned they would follow up.

Past 3pm, someone called and apologized. They were so busy that they can't find anyone for a small job.

Realistically, they can have someone over on Sunday or Monday morning. To fix a clogged toilet, it takes less than 30 min.

I thanked him, hang up and called another company. Someone showed up within an hour, fixed my toilet nice and clean and charge me about the same price.

I am not sure whether the membership program is now the main driver for the insane delay, or the scale of my job is the problem. Just to share the experience here.

We would definitely consider them for future plumbing needs moving forward! Charged $700 for a single person to perform less than two hours of work (two hair clogs and re-tightening a pipe). We were quoted at $400 and assured that the cost would remain at that after explaining that the clog was occurring on the third and first level of a tri-level townhome.

They got there about an hour late and when they got there, they quoted significantly higher. Specifically, we were quoted $600 from a different company and separately $500 for the same amount of work and the same next day service from someone we previously used.

They said their rate is $325 per drain way clog unclogged and $150 for reassembling the sink drain pipes (p trap and whatnot). The person giving initial quote assumed that the third and first floor clog were coming from the same place.

Looking back it does look like they have kept their prices the same since 2022. They took care of the issue, and it was next day service, but at the price they quoted, I'd recommend someone local to Hayward, CA AND asking for an hourly rate.

Tang, Fremont CA Visited, told me they'd come back following week to complete the job when they got the part. Didn't show up.

Called them, they said they'd come following week, didn't show up, no word. I had a major leak in my landscape plumbing and Commando quickly sent a plumber out the same day I called!!! I was amazed because they came with such short notice and they came from Menlo Park to the coast near Half Moon Bay.

The plumber came and waited for me to get home; looked at the project and found another leakage as well. He ordered parts needed, went to hardware store to get them and fixed both pipes within two hours.

I would absolutely use Commando and Javier again for any plumbing project We got an alert last Wednesday from ACWD for a potential leak due to continuous flow detected over 24 hr. We looked all over the place but there were no visible leaks inside or outside of the house.

From the online meter reading, we could see the leak was getting worse. So I posted a request for leak detection on Yelp last Friday.

Commando responded quickly and offered a free estimate with a confirmed appt for that afternoon ( very effective initial communication). Javier came at 3pm, and found the leak within 10min.

There was a leak in the pipe underneath between the meter and the valve to the house. Javier proposed two options, explained them clearly, and answered all the questions I had.

He was also able to give a very reasonable quote verbally, with an official quote via email not too long after he left. Javier came again on Monday morning with a co-worker and spent almost 4 hours on the job.

They went through the fix with us and made sure we were happy with the results before wrap-up. They also did a thorough clean-up with the dirt and debris to ensure the area returned to its original state.

Two days after the job, Javier followed up again -- he was on another job nearby and wanted to check if everything is working fine with us. What a surprise! So I shared with him that we no longer have continuous flow based on the latest data.

I appreciate that he took the time to inspect my whole gas system instead of just writing up a quick-glance estimate like I've had done elsewhere. I knew I had older pipes and several terminated lines from old appliances and heaters, but I didn't realize the corrosion was so bad.

He also found a small gas leak, so definitely something I wanted to take care of quickly. He returned the next morning with his crew, Kevin and Luis, and replaced all of the corroded gas lines.

Everyone was professional and friendly, and they cleaned up inside and out like they were never here. It also feels good to have a safe and updated gas system.

The folks at Commando Plumbing responded quickly and were able to arrange for a plumber to come out the same day. He took care of the drainage issue and another toilet leak issue which we brought up while he was there.

The value seemed really good since there was a discount applied for multiple services on one trip. 5:00 Saturday night, 15 people coming over tomorrow.

Both toilets and showers are blocked with foul substances oozing out of all the drains.Called at 5:30, they said someone could be out at 7. They showed up at 6:30.

An hour later everything is flowing better than it has for months. Everything is back in place and clean.

We've used Commando for years so this isn't super surprising but when something goes wrong, they've got your back. Marvin and Alex came to install a Waterdrop RO filter for us and did an excellent job.

I called them to help with a sewage backup. Leo came out immediately and traced the problem to a city-managed portion of the sewage line.

Victor has good guys Super honest folks! A person came to inspect my leak an told me how to fix it myself without spending money. Other people quoted $700+ for the fix that was totally not needed.

The plumber was honest and said that he fixes it, it will be several hundred dollars but he did not see any issue with the pipes and told me what sealant to use. I did exactly what he suggested and I was able to repair the leak myself.

It is just that after many years the seal had come off and there was no real leak in the pipes. Leo did a great job identifying my dishwasher issues and fix it with a reasonable price.

We had a leak under the sink (a p-trap problem). Contacted Commando Plumbing via Yelp and Victor sounded very knowledgeable, gave me a quote over the phone (actually two, one for replacing the whole thing, one for reconnecting the old parts with a new joining-thingie).

Ding ding! We have a plumber for life! Saved us about 12K!!! Also very conscientious and cleaned up everything when he was finished! Arrived very fast for a Saturday and the part they needed was delivered to them by an associate. Their work was very good, fast and neat, but I felt it was pretty expensive even for a Saturday emergency call.

When I questioned the price the plumber quickly lowered it a bit but then found an additional problem which brought the price back up where it was originally. He told me the valve he installed was $75.00 alone but I had a bad feeling about that.

About a week ago, I had water gushing outside of my garage lucky for me I had neighbors that alerted me right the way and got the situation under control, and by a neighbor refers I found this company to help me with knowledge to deal with the exact situation saving me a lot of hassle, time and money. Team got to work, unclogged with snake, but this is where the problems began. Crew couldnt put pipes back together and water kept leaking from drain.

Spent 1 hr trying to fix our pipes and ultimately was told we had to replace our kitchen disposer because it was "too old". To add this service, was an extra $425...a kitchen disposer typically runs $100-150 for the one they provided, but to charge $200+ for install just seemed ridiculous, and we didnt have a choice.

Lastly, tried to use 10% discount code on yelp, but crew spoke no english, only spanish. As such, wasn't able to use the code.

Quite disappointed overall. Able to fix our plug in the end after 3 hrs but overcharged quite a bit...total $750 just to fix a drain plug...

We contacted Commando Plumbing regarding a broken pump which was causing slow draining/flushing in the toilet. Javier came to give us a free estimate and to confirm what was wrong with the pump.

Leo and Juan are great, they fixed a leak in my ceiling from a shower drain, and I would hire them for any plumbing problems that arise in the future. Leo arrived on time in the afternoon to give a quote, and once I agreed, he called his coworker Juan and it was fixed in the same afternoon.

Leo explained to me the issue and they seemed thorough -- after fixing the obvious source of the leak (the pipe had a hole in it), they checked for other possible leaks. The entire experience was great and I felt the price was reasonable.

We had a leak coming from below our 2nd floor bathtub and a clog in the other room. He informed us that they were two separate issues and we decided to just fix the leak since it was the highest priority issue at the time.

After inspecting the leak, he informed us that it would be a much bigger job because he would have to replace all the piping because whoever did the initial installation didn't put enough plumbers clay for the pipes. Leo suggested we call our HOA if they were the ones to replace those pipes and fix it.

Whatever you do, if you value your peace of mind and your precious spare time, just say no to Commando Plumbing We had a seismic gas valve installed by Commando Plumbing. There was some confusion about a permit being required or not, but Victor and his team took care of it.

Used their service in past, when contacted them again this time they were a total disaster, very unprofessional. Didn't show up for the appointment, an hour later after no show called them and told me they can't make it today, will be tomorrow and wanted to charge double the price they charged me last time for exactly the same work.

Either they changed management or built confidence and trying to rip customers. Not recomendemos at all! This went from slow leak to dry fixed pipes & wallboard closet in no time.
