United Plumbing is quite impressive! To be honest, I could not have asked for greater service, let alone a lower quote, from any other business. I had a company come out the day prior before reading up on United Plumbing.

They came out and I informed them of the issue. After their assessment, they said they would have to take out some drywall, replace the pipe with a bigger one, and also replace a crushed pipe.

They said that there would be no other option for my pipes to clear. Not to mention $2100 That's not accurate, I told them; three years ago, all the pipes underneath the home were replaced.

It goes without saying that I said "thank you," but not "no." Using Yelp, I chose to read up on United Plumbing and went through all of the amazing reviews. I made a call, and was scheduled for an appointment the next day.

I was given two quotes; snaking from the ground level and if required from the roof. The technicians arrived promptly.

Although there was a slight language barrier, I still understood exactly what was being communicated. The technicians were both courteous and professional.

They immediately identified the problem and confirmed the pipes did not need to be replaced, nor were there any pipes crushed. The technician Surge was the one I dealt with the most; he was incredibly detailed in his work and produced excellent results.

What a pleasure to work with a honest business and receive quality service. I was informed that my P-trap needed to be replaced since it was old and wasn't installed correctly.

Called United for a leaking elbow and joints by the main water meter and the operator was able to send out a technician within hours. The operator requested for a photo and the technician came in the assigned window with a company truck and uniform.

Technician started the job by vacuuming the excess water before calling into the office to inform me of a $299 fee to dig around to get a proper estimate. The initial fee would be credited to the job if it was done the same day.

The technician uncovered the leaking elbow and the office informed that the repair would be $1600 less the $299 fee if the job was done the same day. The operator checked with the manager and was able to provide an additional $200 returning customer discount.

The technician was able to replace the leaking elbow and conector joints in a couple of hours. After validating that leaks were gone, settled the bill via check.

The technician was courteous and cleaned up the site before leaving. $1100 for a couple elbow and connector joints.

The first time I had an underground pipe burst in the garage causing a major leak. I called many plumbing companies, all licensed and top reviews, United was the one who came out the soonest and actually provided the most reasonable quote.

The work involved adding new copper pipes in the garage ceiling and bypassing the underground pipes altogether. They gave me a next day appointment and finished the job in 8 hours including patching the ceiling.

Next time I called them for drain cleaning in the shower. Unfortunately this time my ptrap was broken in the cleaning process.

I called them, the guy came back in an hour and found the proken pipe and replaced the ptrap. They didn't charge me for additional work.

tl;dr: Work was completed in a timely manner. Communication could be better both with the client and internally to avoid confusion given known language barriers.

I wanted to upgrade a kitchen sink and facet. The sink I had was a fairly large undermount sink and I reached out to a few plumbers found on Yelp.

Most gave me a ballpark estimate as a quote and told me that I would find out when the installation was completed which I'd rather just know before the job is done than after the job is done. United requested that their technicians visited before confirming providing any quote.

On the day of arrival, the technicians did not speak English all too well and were confused. They seem to have expected to be doing the install the day of inspection.

Communication could have improved internally to limit some churn and confusion due to the language barrier. Nevertheless, we managed.

The 2 technicians that came by were cordial and respectful of the home. They work Shoe Socks upon entering.

After perhaps 10-15 minutes of inspecting, they gave someone a call who later called me and gave me a quote. $1100 for kitchen sink and facet replacement and 1 year labor warranty.

From the quotes/ballpark estimates I gathered, this was the higher end but at least it was a concrete number. Few other notes, I had already purchased the sink and facet myself.

This $1100 quote was for the labor and any parts needed to get the installation done. The sink and facet was on route during the time of inspection hence I could not just agree to allow the installation to happen on the same day as inspection.

I requested that an invoice of some sort is sent to me so I can review and have something on record prior to the day of the installation. I was ensured I'd get this by end of day.

This did not happen and required me to give a call 2 days prior to the scheduled. This was a minor inconvenience but I planned to call to give United a heads up that the sink and facet arrived on time.

To my surprise, when I called in, my name and record was remembered. Usually, for any work of this kind, I'm so use to having to provide various emails, identifiers, etc.

to get the conversation going. So, a call that usually takes 30 minutes or more for me was completed in 10 minutes or less with the invoice sent shortly after and confirmation of the installation date.

When we scheduled the installation date, I was told the technicians would arrive at 9 AM and be completed by noon. The technician (one) arrived about 1 hr and 15 minutes late.

The work to complete the job took a little more than the 4 hours quoted. Overall the workmanship looked good to me.

If the technician needed to step out, I was briefly informed while I was working from home. Did a great job on a new PRV, and then debating on a tankless water heater.

They did offer free inspection but ended up never did. Which is fine with me.

It was late anyway. However, there were complications with the new unit.

They couldn't get it to work and took almost a day and finally have to give up. Then an hour later, the boss, supervisor, the manager and the plumber all came at night and tried to figure it out and finally got it to work! I didn't have the smoothest installation but I was very impressed with the effort and the attention and like half the company came to try to resolve it was impressive.

Price wise they aren't the cheapest but they are about middle in the range of all the bids I got. One thing is couple other very well rated company tried to sell me a few things that's not necessary.

I read negative reviews saying the contractors didn't speak English but in my experience this does not matter. I've had contractors who spoke no English and those who were American and spoke perfect English and both have varied both ways in performance.

It all boils down to how much they care and their work ethic at the end of the day. Even though the contractors didn't speak English well I enjoyed getting to know them with what English and non verbal communication we had.

(I learned a lot about the countries they were from and a little bit about plumbing) And honestly I like to support companies that support immigrants. It's hard enough for a immigrant to find a good job in the first place and it's good to see that opportunities such from such great professional companies like this one exist.

Our tech arrived on time, was polite and charming and was very insistent that I test everything to ensure it was all ixed. United HVAC was able to reply to my Thursday night urgent request and send a technician as soon as Friday.

Serge did a great job cleaning out the clogged kitchen sink. The clog happened very far in the pipe and Serge had to use a larger snake to unclog it.

Throughout the visit, Serge is very professional, ask for permission each single step, and commute well. He is very responsible and professional.

Because the clog is very difficult to get to, the job took several hours to finish, and they honored their original estimate provided over the phone. Unlike other providers who insist on only providing quotes after a visit (which is really inconvenient for an emergent drain issue), I highly appreciated they were able to provide a price estimate up front.

Very quick service, got the quote quickly and technician came to fix it in a short time even in Saturday! We were extremely disappointed by the service we received. We have actually used United in the past and I knew it was a bad situation when I saw a repeat of our last experience.

Long story short, they sent a tech to come look at our faucet which turned out that we needed a new one. There was a language barrier and that's okay, but he kind of just left saying he was going shopping and we got a call from the company saying he was going to buy a faucet for us.

We said no, we wanted to purchase our own faucet and requested they put the old one back and we would schedule for the next day. I called that afternoon to schedule for them to come and install the new faucet and was told they would be there between 8:00-10:00, which was the only morning time we could do.

I got a call back from a man about an hour later saying that the tech had a family emergency and couldn't come at this time. Typically, I'd totally understand and reschedule, but this was the same thing they told us last time.

I said okay and said we would have to revisit this. 5 minutes later a woman called me to tell me that they couldn't do the morning time because the tech had a training he had to go to.

Ummmm, what? The guy just called me five minutes ago saying he had a family emergency so which one is it? There was no real answer as to why I was being lied to (for the third time now). I have zero trust in this company and shame on them for using serious excuses as lies for poor scheduling.

To be clear, the tech did what he could and none of this is his fault. This is clearly an organizational and communication issue where they think it's okay to lie to customers.

They mentioned it would need a full toilet replacement which I wasn't surprised by. The same technician came out a few days later, schedule permitting, and was able to get a new toilet purchased and installed quickly after taking measurements to ensure we had a similarly sized toilet to meet our preferences.

These guys sent a tech within 45 minutes of the original quote request for a free estimaate. And Alexander was arrived within 30 minutes of being dispatched.

He was able to check the pump and saw that it was not draining. I had unplugged the pump and let it sit for a while and it appears when Alexander opened the top of the Tank, the pump started working again! I am not sure if the pump had over-heated or what! I suspect the pump has to eventually replaced but the problem has now been solved and the toilet does indeed drain.

I was calling them to repair a leaky toilet. They came the same day and diagnosed it as a broken toilet flange.

I had two options: a repair job costing me $240 or a replacement costing me $800-$1,100. I live in a condo complex, making access to replace the flange complicated because they would have to cut a hole in the unit below.

I opted for the repair. I had a window between 8 and 10 AM the next day for the technician to arrive.

He was a no-show. The customer service was responsive, so I asked what had happened.

I texted again and was told the technician would be there between 2 and 2:30 PM--3 PM, and still no show. I called Princess, and she said she talked to a supervisor, and they would give me 10% off for the inconvenience.

I was already frustrated; it was my son's fifth birthday, and I was missing what we planned for him. I told Princess it wasn't good enough and wanted to talk to the supervisor.

She hung up on me (I don't know if it was intentional). I ended up checking on the reviews on Yelp because this place got such good reviews; I was surprised this was the type of customer service I received.

I saw that Marat (their COO) was answering some reviews. I proceeded to call him to provide him with some feedback, and he was great.

He mentioned another technician should have been deployed to me and assured me he would handle the issue. Given all my challenges, he offered to provide the service free of charge.

Alex (the technician) did great and came around 4-4:30 PM. I will use United again.

However, this was not the best experience, but I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Princess was very responsive and tried to help me navigate the issues.

Alex is a great technician. The service is generally good and is an excellent sign that they take customer service seriously.

I would encourage the team to communicate more effectively so you don't waste people's time. I would have been fine rescheduling the appointment if the technician had an emergency.

United HVAC was quick to respond to our request and had us scheduled immediately for service. We had Oleg get to our home early and went straight to work.

Firstly, they answered the phone promptly and was able to determine if they could help me. Since it was late on a Friday afternoon, their first free opening was on Saturday morning 8 am which was fine with me.

Alexander (Alex) arrived a few minutes past 8 after texting me at about 7:50 am. He proceeded to put on booties (much appreciated) and headed into the shower area.

I told him what had happened earlier and he went to work. I must admit for some unknown reason the cartridge was wedged in tight and would not budge.

It probably took about 30 plus minutes which included destroying the original cartridge and some pounding to complete removal. Once done he noted calcium buildup (Santa Clara hard water) even though I have a water softener system in place.

He spent some time cleaning out the calcium and the other areas inside the pipe before inserting a brand new cartridge into it. I reactivated the water flow and the shower work perfectly with no drips.

We came back from a long weekend and found our kitchen sink unable to drain. After being unable to resolve the problem ourselves, we had several of the more known plumbers provide us quotes for what they had determined to be collapsed cast iron pipe in the slab floor.

Sewer line going from our home to the main city line clogged up recently, and water was coming out of the only cleanout near the home. This has happened some years back and snaking it fixed it.

So I checked a few plumbers online, called a few to see if they can come right away. #1honestplumber was one of the fastest, and also very reasonably priced, with good reviews to boot, so I went with them.

They were on-time, professional, and quick. Opening the line proved difficult, and the person who came said it would not last long and I should schedule an inspection with Eddie.

Sure enough, the line clogged up in a day or two before I can even schedule the follow up. They came back and opened the line the same day, no charge, and they also did the inspection.

Eddie walked me through the details of the problem, my options, and their pros and cons. He was very clear and direct, and did not push at all for one way or the other.

We first contacted Eddie, who advised us to notify the city first, to make sure it was our issue that needed to be fixed, rather than the city's responsibility (sadly, it was ours), which really shows to me that they care about providing a great, honest service. I called Friday, and he confirmed a time for a plumber to get to my house on Monday at 2PM. My particular problem was a leak coming out of my toilet.

George, the plumber, called me on Monday morning, and he was able to come in at noon. He assessed the problem, and quickly changed the wax seal on my toilet, and this fixed the leak.

As a side point, during the course of this work (toilet removal, wax seal application, toilet reinstallation) the water hose to the toilet came up with a small leak (one of the reasons I hate doing plumbing work myself - it seems like something 'else' always 'breaks', or comes up with issues). George was well prepared, and easily replaced the hose, and eliminated the leak.

I should also note that the space to get to the toilet was pretty tight (due to the placement of the shower stall), and George was able to squeeze and get the work done. All of this work took around half an hour.

To sum up: George was courteous, quick, and he effectively fixed my issue. Thanks! Also, Eddie got back to me quickly, and kept me in loop on the schedule (and pulled the time schedule in by a couple of hours).

Our toilet was not draining in 2021, he charged $400 to use the better snaker but after getting the money and going on the roof he was like he couldn't use the snaker because of the pipe being too narrow, he'll fix the issue in the bathroom (we had a discussion that the fix via bathroom would be sub optimal and he charges only $150 for that, I told him I even got $99 quotes for that). But he refused to refund me the money saying since he went up on the roof, he'll pocket the whole $400.

So he overcharged for a service he never provided. The most dishonest plumber I found.

I needed to upgrade the valve since I did not want to have any issues with the new washer I was going to purchase. Once I mentioned the area I lived in, he was very knowledgeable of the history of this neighborhood and plumbing.

The issue that we were facing was related to water clogging everywhere in our house, in all 3 of our bathrooms, in the toilets etc and it was clear there was some issue with the drainage. We took quotes from many plumbers and were quoted as high as $400.

Some of the plumbers even charged money for "diagnosis" so if we end up not choosing them we are still paying them for telling us what is wrong! He answered in two rings and was at the house in literally half an hour. Once I told him the symptoms, he immediately cleaned out my main sewer line in an hour fixing the problem, and told me that my main sewer line pipe under my front yard may be problematic, and that he'd be able to fix it permanently.

He told me that the cost of the sewer line cleanout could be applied to the cost of the replacement of the main line (basically giving me a free cleanout). Given how honest and upfront he was about everything from the get-go, my fiance and I had no qualms letting him replace the main line pipe.

He brought a crew over the next day who started digging like crazy, and sure enough, the main line pipe was COMPLETELY broken, and only held together by the dirt in the ground. Apparently that pipe was an "orangeburg pipe" which means it was installed in over fifty years ago, and had never been replaced.

In two days, they were able to replace the pipe with a brand new ABS pipe which should prevent plumbing headaches for years to come. After the pipe was installed, his crew promptly covered the hole back up and surfaced a cleanout that we didn't know about before.

What can I say? I had a toilet that needed to be repaired and sent out a quote request over Yelp around 7:30 pm. Todd was one of the first to reply and his quote was competitive.

He agreed to come out at 9 AM. He arrived 15 minutes early and completed the repair in less than 20 minutes.

His work has a 3 month warranty, which gives me the confidence in the repair. The next time I need help with a plumbing issue, I'm calling Todd first.

We had a master bathroom that had the drain back up twice - both coincidentally during the heavy rains in California. The first time it happened we had another plumber come by and they tried snaking through the vent but they were unsuccessful after multiple attempts (and a few hours of work).

They recommended a flush through the cleanout which was under the house for this portion of the line. However, their equipment was too big to fit through the crawlspace entrance - we would need to repipe the sewer lines to have the cleanout exposed outside (prob close to $2K).

Luckily for us, the problem went away during this time and we had been using the bathroom without issues for a whole year since. Recently (almost a year later), the problem came back when we ran the washer.

I had Todd come and check it out. He ended up hydro jetting through the vent stack and the problem was fixed in less than an hour.

Done! So far so good. You can't go wrong with Todd!! We had a back up from our main pipe from the street into our house that caused an over flow in our downstair bathroom the night before July 4th.

That night I was searching Yelp and came across Drain Rooter and with this many positive review, I figure I give him a try. Next morning I contact Todd at 7:30am and he arrived promptly by 8am.

As soon as Todd arrive, I told him about the issue I was having and he knew exactly what was the cause and where to go to resolve the clogged issue. He knew that my house had a two way drain opening and went directly there and as soon as he open up the top lid we can both see the clogged.

He snake out the clog and afterward feed his camera down the pipes to show me that the pipes were clear all the way from the two way to the streets and also from the two way back into the house. I thought I had to cancel my July 4th plans to get this clogged issued resolved but overall he totally saved the day.

I called him 15 days ago to inspect and fix a bathroom clog. He came a ran a snake for 2-3 minutes and the water started draining.

He asked for a higher than normal fee, and I gave it without argument as he responded promptly to my call and came immediately. I left for a 2 week vacation next morning and on return found the bathroom drain was still getting clogged.

I sent a message to him but he did not respond. I tried again the next day and he picked up the phone.

Now here is where his unprofessional behavior starts. He blamed me that I might have thrown something in the toilet to cause the clog.

I explain that no one was home and that the snake cleaning he did 2 weeks did not seem to have cleared the clog. Even after my clear explanation he kept telling me that I should have done something wrong.

Instead of coming over and looking at the problem this guys asks for more money upfront. I am not sure why someone would ask for more money upfront without checking if their prior work was done correctly or not.

This did not seem honest to me. I decided to get a snake from homedepot and run it myself.

I ran the snake thoroughly and was able to extract roots from the pipe around 10-15 ft mark. See the pictures.

There probably was more that got flushed out. Stay away from this company if you are seeking honest and genuine service.

Tu came out right after I called to say we had blockages in the garage sink and also in the kitchen sink. He was able to snake both of them and get it unclogged.

He was easy to understand when he explained the problem and fixed it right then and there He waited until the washer was finished to make sure it worked properly. I would highly recommend this company for cleaning out your drains.

Todd, Tu and another coworker came out to investigate a horrid (non sewer) smell that would come and go as we used hot water. Another plumbing company had come and didn't discover the problem.

Todd and his team went into our crawl space (not an easy or fun thing to do) and discovered a huge leak that had been pooling up sink and shower water for at least a month. The guys came back the very next day to put in new drain pipes and soak up the horrid smelling standing water with bags and bags of soil- which required them to shimmy themselves under the house multiple time with multiple huge bags.

A guy came to repair our toilet upstairs which had some water leakage around it. Found out the floor was pretty badly damaged but he still installed a wax seal and some anchors--I thought everything was fine.

Later last night the toilet started absolutely flooding. There used to be one small crack in the ceiling below the toilet, now there are two large cracks with water dripping down.

(Water wasn't dripping down before). Plumber said that the hose was "on its last leg" but for some reason didn't replace it?? It took my husband 5 mins to see that the top of the toilet was leaking onto the already damaged hose causing all of the flooding.

Husband was able to replace the hose easily and will replace the piece inside top part as a temporary fix. Plumber said it was "too risky" to replace the hose--what???? I've included pictures of the damage and flooding water.

There are 3 people living in this house & we needed to keep the water on to go to the bathroom, take showers etc and all night we had dirty toilet water dripping on us...not fun and now we need to repair the further damage to the floor and ceiling.... This plumbing company was referred to for my plumbing issues ...

since 2019 I've had repeated clogged drains due to old galvanized plumbing so I had Fidel Gomez and his team change out our entire drain and supply lines back in 2020. They were very professional and respectful of our COVID precautions at the time as well.

They've also been by the help seal a toilet wax ring on the weekend and a shower valve. Most recently, Fidel stopped by to help pinpoint a leak in our tankless water heater (installed by someone else) that was causing a high water bill.

He fit us at the end of a very busy day (same day) and didn't even charge me a trip fee. I think I'm now in his cell phone speed dial but that's the kind of customer service you get with this company! Fixed the shower issue we were having where the faucets were not working properly.

Replaced one of the cartridges and the other one was a refurbished unit. Plumber says he will come back to replace that refurbished one with a new one but still waiting for that.

He helped with a few other issues and all in all seemed like a nice guy willing to help out with any issues that we had. Once the other cartridge is replaced, I'll bump it up to a 5.

It's been a week and no word back from him or the office so far.... I received great customer service from them! I called them at 8:30 am regarding our clogged toilet (I live right around the corner from them fortunately), and the guy arrived within 15 minutes of me calling them.

He had to snake the toilet and he was done and out of my house by 9 am. He was nice, friendly, and gave me a discount if I paid cash.

Highly recommend. These guys are GREAT! I have had them out twice in the last few years and they always ogo the extra mile.

Their work is superb and their prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

We purchased a replacement faucet, but did not have the tools to install it. Gomez Plumbing was just a couple of miles away from us, so we called them to set up an appointment.

They contacted me the same day as the Yelp request and asked for more details and photos. The following day we made the appointment time to for the end of the week.

The plumber arrived about 15 minutes late, but had contacted us earlier stating that another job took a bit longer than anticipated. Kudos for being in top of communicating with us.

In about 30 minutes the kitchen faucet was switched out and we no longer had a calcified handle that was frozen in place. He told me that the hole drilled out in the granite counter was too large of diameter for the standard fixture.

He went back to his truck and retrieved a few shins to keep the mount in place. It is very secure and stable! Many thanks for your professionalism and problem-solving skills.

.) If only we could give more than 5 stars! We called Gomez for a backed-up sewer line. They responded immediately and were on the job within an hour.

After snaking the line to clear tree roots, they ran a camera to find the location of the root intrusion. The camera also showed a bad junction in the line at a different location.

They made a very reasonable proposal to return the next day, repair both issues, install two-way cleanouts for future access, and re-snake the entire line in both directions. (There was no charge for the original snake and camera job!) The project became even more complex when much digging revealed that a 6-inch tree root had crushed and broken the sewer pipe where the roots were entering.

The additional work entailed a modest additional cost, well worth it to have the line repaired properly. What started as a two-man job became a four-man operation.

Many thanks to Ivan, Fidel, Oscar and Ampelione for their friendly, quick and professional work, and to Santa in the office for scheduling and billing. What a pleasure to have this team on the job! We had a toilet that kept running.

My husband tried to fix it, but it wasn't working. We turned off the water to that toilet and called Santos.

He came by within a couple of hours of my reaching out. Turned out the water was just too high in the tank (no idea how that happened on it's own).

But Santos showed me how to lower it...flushed it a few times and we were good. He didn't charge me for the visit and did it with a smile.

I had a leak on my frig and a major leak on my pool fill line. I requested to have Santos do the repairs and as before and he did an excellent job, just can't say enough good things about him.

We were in the middle of remodeling two bathrooms and found one of the toilet was making this weird sound and the shower would not drain well. We couldn't figure out why this was happening until Fidel came out and analyzed the issue.

Long story short, he and his crew replaced the 60+ year old sewer line under the house within a day. Extremely efficient and we do not have the drainage issue anymore.

After an original 5 star review..... Hired them later for a garbage disposal install.

Several weeks after completion, sink back-ups began to occur, as well as some leaking. Called them to return and after 3 promised appointments in 2 days, they were a no show.

Never called me to reschedule. I had to hire another plumber who told me the hose to the disposal was improperly installed (by Gomez).

After this correction, I've had no problems. All we needed done was to get a busted hot water pipe fixed underneath the house.

Found Benjamin franklin plumbing in Yelp, had good review so i called for an am appointment. plumber shows up, looks at the trouble then he says it can't be done right away cause it's to muddy and it needed to be dried out first before he could do the work to fix it.

He then asked if i knew that we had galvanized pipes, i said NO even though i knew we had copper piping. then he says that since we have galvanized pipes, the fix might be just a temporary and possibly in the near future other section of pipes might burst.

So before he left he suggested that we may look into doing a repipe. so i asked what the cost would be to do the work.

He quoted us 14k WTF? think he was trying to sell a repipe job instead of fixing the busted pipe. Later on that very same day,wife had called Gomez Plumbing and SANTO shows up at the door.

Looks at the issue and fixed it. "like that".

He sure saved us a ton of money, unlike the other guy wanting us to do a repipe for 14k. So if your looking for a good honest plumber that does good work.

These guys came within a couple of days (it wasn't an emergency), did the job quickly at a fair price, and stuck around for the rest of the hour to help assess my broken irrigation and leaky faucet (even recommending a cheaper alternative for the irrigation). Good work! Had a main line sewer backup.

Santos was fairly quick to return a call. Unlike the rooter guys that come for free and then give you an inflated price to fix (hoping you will just say yes), Santos came out on an hourly basis.

He came on time, was unable to free blockage tha was about 100 feet down the line. He returned the next day, on time, cut out cast iron pipe and installed a new cleanout about 30 feet before blockage.

then used a hose balloon to blow it out. One nice thing about Santos is he provides camera service to see that line is really clear and also show defects in line at no extra charge for video.

In the future, I will use his general plumbing services. But even if you just need a line cleared, it is better to call a real plumber like Santos that can do more than just run a rooting machine.

Kitchen sink was backing up into laundry sink in garage which was draining extremely slowly. I tried draino and manual snake but did not work.

They responded within an hour or so of the Yelp Request Quote feature on a Sunday. On Monday we scheduled service for Tuesday morning and they were on time.

The plumber described what was likely happening in clear detail and answered my questions to my satisfaction. He worked quick and snaked it from the vent on the roof so that my garage would not get flooded.

Even fixed our broken-for-years garbage disposal at no charge! Came early than scheduled (which is great for me) both times and has great communication. The lady in the office mixed up scheduling the same job twice this week, she said Tuesday but scheduled for Wednesday.

She scheduled for 2:00 - 4:00 PM but at 6:00 PM, no plumber and then dropped the job, leaving a resident without use of his shower/bathtub for 3 days. The apartment manager had to scramble to find another plumber at the last minute.

Go-Mez Plumbing doesn't schedule the day they tell you, they don't show when they're scheduled to arrive, they don't call to let their client know they would be late and they renege on the job altogether. Terrible customer service.

I would not recommend using them as they will leave you in a bind. Santos and his brother, Fidel, are the best plumbers and even better people to work with.

During a period of heavy rainfall, I noticed that the underground rain gutter was not properly draining and water was pooling close to the house/foundation. Not knowing where the the clog was, or where the drain ends, I knew I needed help.

I reached out to two plumbing companies, neither of which provide underground drain snaking services. Santos was the third person I spoke with - he was quick to recommend snaking and jetting, and said he could be at our Sunnyvale home in a timely manner.

He was very responsive by phone / text. Once Santos arrived, he worked quickly.

In an hour, he had tried both snaking and jetting. Eventually we found the exit point for the water, and he helped remove dirt that had clogged it up.

He charged what seemed like a fair price, and I would reach out to him again for future plumbing issues. Ivan came out to replace the wide spread faucet on my bathroom pedestal sink.

Both handles had completely corroded at the base and I feared that the sink might break. But Ivan was confident he could get them off and after using a power saw on one of them, they both came off without a scratch! He explained everything along the way and made sure that everything was cleaned up and the new set was properly installed to avoid this issue in the future.

While out, he also replaced the fill valve on the toilet. Both issues were dealt with professionally and he left no trace other than a bathroom in good working condition! Santos has been helping me for the last 8 years with all of our plumbing needs.

Santos of Go-Mez Sewer and Drain came out and used his camera to check the sewer lines outside and confirmed there were blockages in the side clean out and front sewer line.

(Other company wanted $399 for a camera look but Santos looked with a camera which was included with the clean out cost). He cabeled it multiple times and got out a root from the side clean out which the other company never got anything out.

Santos then found the front backing up and cabeled it multiple times to clear tree roots. One charge to clear the two locations outside.

The shower was still backing up so he came inside and cleared that too which he said he charged half for that clean out since he was already there. The total cost to clear the 3 blockages was less than what we paid the other company to not even clear one location.

(The other company didn't think any location was blocked except the one at the side of the house). 5 stars for Santos and Go-Mez Sewer and Drain.

I'd recommend them and use him again. I am very happy with the service provided from Go-mez Sewer and Drain.

got an appointment within a day, did a great job unclogging my drains in the bathtub and sink, then came back a few days later for another appointment to install some new fittings, everything works great now and was quick in response. will use again.

Our drains were running slow, so I went on line and did all the DIY fixes, tried all the drain cleaners, and even used water bladders in all the clean outs. They all worked! For a short period of time.

His prices were fair, reasonable and honest, no where near the over-inflated prices of the so-called big companies. I am all for using small independent companies, and Santos with Go-mez Sewer and Drain is a prime example why small businesses work.

Nothing obvious. Ivan looked at the pictures I had taken, looked at the hoses/pipes/appliances, and said "water softener".

The narrow discharge hose (if that's the right term) had come out of the big drain hose on the wall and when the softener regenerated (about once a month, at night), it would spray a whole lot of water everywhere. Ivan was friendly, showed up on time, didn't make me feel like an idiot, and explained exactly what was happening.
