One of the other plumbers that was fully booked actually gave me Joe's number, saying he'd worked with him before and that he was very trustworthy. Thankfully Joe picked up, said he might have availability but had to check on something.

I'd had a couple places say that already that morning without getting back to me, but Joe called me back right away and was on his way! He showed up even a little earlier than expected and I was still on my way back from an appointment, but I texted and he was extremely understanding and waited for me with a smile. He was very friendly and professional as he investigated the problem, asked all the right questions, and identified the leak.

The actual fix needed in the end was minimal and only required a small part that he happened to have on hand. But instead of rushing he took the time to explain what was wrong and how I could fix and prevent this myself in the future.

He only charged me his minimum service visit fee ($75, pretty standard and fair) and was very pleasant to work with. His business is aptly named, as I can tell right away that Joe is an honest, reliable and knowledgeable guy for all your plumbing needs! Another contractor recommended joe to us when we needed a gas line moved for a new stove.

He was very kind, efficient and the work was high quality. Grateful to have found a good plumber in town ! I'm convinced Joe is an angel! We were undergoing a top-to-bottom reno with tight schedules between the contractor, plumbing, electric, etc..

After our original plumber canceled on us last minute, we were panicking because it was going to set us back another week with our contractor. I reached out to Honest Plumbing with an SOS to help us get the tub in over the weekend before the contractor was scheduled to start on the tile.

Joe was super quick to respond, came within 48 hours, on time when he said he would, and did the job for a great price. Clean work and it looks great! He really knows what he's doing and is fair and honest.

I have a rental unit in Denver and called Honest Plumbing to take a look at a leak coming from the upstairs bathroom. When I called to schedule, Jessica was extremely nice and they could get to my unit quickly.

I asked how much they charge and Jessica said they charge per hour and not per project; she followed up to say they charge a $69 service charge to investigate the problem and then apply that to the future charges should there be any. She also said the technicians have all the parts they need accessible there in their service vehicle.

Josh, the technician shows up within the 2-hour window they provided and found out it was a leaking toilet seal (around the base where the toilet meets the drain). He also suggested he replace the flapper unit inside the toilet.

Relieved that it wasn't a major, in-wall pipe leak, Josh then said it would cost $650 to fix. WHAT! I asked, 'how much do you charge an hour!?' We charge $160 he replied.

If you've ever fixed a toilet ring on a toilet, you'll understand my shock (drain the toilet, two screws take off the toilet, remove the old wax ring and clean the area and put a new wax ring in place). I just checked Home Depot toilet rings $9.89 and flapper kits are $13.97).

For a full time, 'honest plumber' to take over three hours at $160 hour to change a toilet ring and a toilet fill kit is just not honest. I'm sorry, $23 in parts, $625 in labor? Hope this helps should you hear the 'we don't charge per hour' (nonsense since the technician know exactly what they charged per hour).

Low fee to get out there, exceptionally high price to do the work. 100 Stars! We sent him a question, he immediately sent a follow up question that helped clarify our problem.

He was able to come out the following day and fixed not only the ball valve on our sprinkler, but Amazingly was also able to fix our leaking swamp cooler. I don't want another plumbing problem, but looking forward to calling this guy back when i do have one.

These guys came out and saved the day back in December when I tried to flush my water heater, not realizing the pressure relief valve had become so corroded that it wouldn't seal back up again. My wife was many months pregnant at the time, so not having hot water wasn't exactly ideal.

However, Joe/Honest Plumbing was able to come the morning I contacted him and get that swapped out. He also helped me diagnose what was wrong with my water heater to begin with, which had nothing to do with not flushing it all those years.

Fast-forward 7 or so months, and it was finally time for a new water heater, and these guys were able to come out with just a few days notice, and get it swapped out in just a few hours. It was affordable, and they swapped out some of the lines running into the water heater because those were so corroded, and made sure to install a drip tray and PVC piping to run the overflow to our floor drain (which I hadn't even thought about).

I still have some unfinished plumbing work to be done in our basement and I will definitely be reaching out to these guys when that time comes. Definitely highly recommended.

Wow! Extremely satisfied with Joe and Honest Plumbing! I called him on a Friday and he was able to come first thing Sunday morning to repair a hose bibb and install a ball valve. He never called back after the multiple times I called. Other reviews sounded great but apparently he isn't taking new customers? Just called to schedule someone to come give me an estimate to replace water line to my swamp cooler (Monday, June 18).

Hours were listed as 7am to 7pm, but no one answer, only an answering machine that told me he was out of town until June 21 and to call back on the 21st. Disappointing.

I'll try someone else. Joe came to take out a leaky garbage disposal.

He was quick, polite, clean, and able to schedule me same day. A week later we had the same problem at a rental property, and again, he was prompt, quick, clean, and polite.

One job involved replacing some bad solder joints on the sprinkler vacuum valve, and the other involved swapping out my old sump pump for a new unit with battery backup.

I must say that I could not be happier with Joe's quick and clean work, and prices that I felt were extremely fair. For the sump pump job I had purchased the sump pump as well as all the pipe / fittings that I had expected to need, but of course forgot a few items.

The owner, Joe is as good as it gets!!! He's very pleasant, very knowledgeable, very fast and very reasonable. I purchased a high end shower valve and shower head to install myself but it was too complicated for me to install.

I called several plumbers and they all said they had to come out to give me a quote, except Joe he quoted me a price over the phone and he stuck to it. I did have one other plumber come out and they were 3x's the price of Honest Plumbing.

Joe removed to old fixture and installed the new one. It took about 2 hours which I though was very quick given how complex it way.

There was one problem though, after Joe left, I turned it on to show my wife how it worked and when I turned it off, it started to leak. To make a long story short, when I call Joe back, he came right out and in about 15 minutes he too the handle off and found a tiny speck of solder.

After it was removed there was no problem. Joe is better than sliced bread, for plumbing that is :).

Honest Plumbing did a water heater replace & haul-away, and they installed an outdoor hose bib. The water heater install was excellent quality, done professionally, included new expansion tank & gas and water shutoffs.

They left the job site clean (much appreciated). The hose bib required some work in a basement crawl space, again, very good quality work, done quickly.

Joe came out to repair a couple of gas leaks for me, and replaced a gas regulator. He ran to grab the parts and got it all done on the same day after giving me a very reasonable quote.

Dealing with Sears through Cinch Home Services was a complete disaster but through all these frustrating conversations, which lasted 9 days(!), Ronnell was fabulous. He fought for me with these fools, on my behalf during the whole time period.

I will never recommend purchasing a Sears Home Warranty because basically they put up barriers, the whole time, to NOT replace the water heater. Ronnell finally got the water heater and installed it two days before I was told it was going to be replaced.

So far they've added a gas line for my new stove, replaced a water heater, and checked the sump pump in the new house. We were worried that the sump pump was broken and actually hired them to replace it - Joe took a look at it, said that it's not broken and poured water in so we could see that it turns on.
