On top of the $75 fee they also added sales tax..really? sales tax on the estimate as if it were a sale of the actual goods? anyways, for that reason along they've lost me, once and for all. This company either needs to be in the business of providing services and free estimates or in the business of collecting estimate fees.

A sunny Sunday afternoon and my backyard hose spigot won't turn off. There is no way to make it stop except by shutting off the water to the house.

A full house and no water equals no fun. Frantically searching for an emergency plumber on a Sunday, most were not open.

I called the Beacon line and I immediately reached a human. They calmly collected my info and assessed my problem.

He said he would be able to get me someone right away. Several minutes later, I get a call from Luis, who said he could be at my house in 20 minutes.

Luis was professional and assessed the repair. He had to cut into the wall to replace the entire frost free faucet assembly, but was able to do so quickly and was able to put things back looking pretty good too.

I wasn't worried about the drywall as I had a shoe rack that covered that wall anyways. In less than an hour, we were back in business and water was restored to the house.

True to the motto, I was no longer freakin after I called Beacon. Beacon was AMAZING to work with to get an emergency electrical issue resolved the same day! The schedulers/front office were kind and understanding.

And the electrician (Luis C.) they sent out was top notch. Seriously impressed by his knowledge, efficiency, patience, and customer service skills.

It's rare to find someone who can strike the balance of doing great work AND advocating for the customer at the same time. I really appreciated him explaining what he was doing and why it was needed vs just a generic quote like I've received from a lot of other vendors I've worked with in the past.

Definitely calling Beacon and requesting Luis C. for all of my future projects! BEWARE OF BEACON ELECTRICAL'S PUSHY SALES PITCH! I called Beacon Electrical for same-day service to replace one electric baseboard heater and troubleshoot another.

Before the tech arrived, he called me twice to confirm what was needed. He said he'd pick up a baseboard and thermostat so he'd have them on hand.

During the second call, I started to get a bad feeling -- the guy sounded more like a salesperson than a technician. When he arrived (and parked on my lawn), my suspicions were confirmed.

He immediately launched into a sales pitch for a new electrical panel, quoting a whopping $6,500! He even talked about financing and how buying the panel would get me a discount on the heater work. Then, he went back to his truck for 40 minutes to "work up an estimate." When he returned, the high-pressure sales talk continued.

He kept pushing the new panel, even though I repeatedly told him my priority was getting the baseboard heaters fixed or replaced. That's when he admitted he wasn't even prepared to do the baseboard work without an assessment.

After 10-15 minutes of this, I asked him to leave. When he didn't, I had to tell him again, and eventually, I had to yell to get him out of my house.

Even then, he and his helper lingered in my yard for another 10-15 minutes. I called Beacon Electrical and was transferred to a manager, who laughed at me! He claimed the tech wasn't a salesperson but a "darn good electrician." The manager called the tech and told him to leave because, ".

you are making her nervous." Only then did the tech leave. Actually, I wasn't nervous I was mad.

They were here almost 2 hours and all I got was frustrated. The next day, I hired a different electrical company.

They did a full inspection and found nothing wrong with my panel, and they completed the baseboard heater repairs -- all without any pushy sales tactics! Luis and Micheal were efficient and diagnosed the issue in a timely manner. They answered all the questions being thrown at them and really worked to take care of us.

Beacon's installation of a furnace was sloppy and improper in several ways, leading to its very short life. The heat exchanger, warranted by the Coleman, the manufacturer, for ten years, failed after six years because the furnace was installed at a slant, condensation collected and rusted out the heart of the furnace.

The venting for the furnace wasn't to code, which also contributed to its short life. My calls and emails to Beacon were ignored for three days.

When I finally reached a manager, Mark,, he dismissed my concerns, exclaiming that I couldn't prove the furnace was improperly installed, noting that their warranty was only for one year. In short, tough luck.

Shockingly unprofessional, horrible service, pathetic business practices. Luis Carrillo was friendly, knowledgeable and respectful! I'm very pleased! He installed a EV car charger in my garage.

Bid $9,000 for a job that was done by someone else for $1,000. I stay clear.

Anyone that has to advertise as much as they do on TV has to make it up somewhere and they're doing it right out of the customers pocket. A few months ago I had an emergency leak caused by a part failing.

Since it was an emergency I was forced to pay the 900 dollars for them to replace it which took them only about an hour or two. I had also been having problems with a sink to which they told me all the piping in the sink had to be replaced and that was why the pressure was so low.

While my house piping does need to be replaced I called a more reputable plumber and it was calcium build up which took 5 minutes for him to clear out and he showed me how. Don't trust these guys, they aren't one of the good ones.

Very very upset Beacon's estimate was way over the top. They required $75 to visit (not part of the repair) and then tacked a minimum hourly fee in 15 minute increments.

We never made it past the bid process. I invited 8 plumbers from Yelp to bid on my project from all over the Puget Sound region and these guys were the ONLY ones to charge a $75 overhead fee for themselves to come to our house which is over and above the hourly fee minimums.

Noticed that my outlets in the bathroom were not working, but the lights were working. Not seeing a GFR, I called Beacon.

They scheduled an appointment for later the same day. In under 30 minutes, Alex called and asked if I had reset the GFR outlet.

Yep, my GFR is white and in the other bathroom. My outlets work fine, now.

Alex was kind, patient, helpful and saved me the typical diagnostic fees. This is exactly why we use Beacon for any plumbing or electrical needs.

I contacted Beacon for a clogged toilet and was given a window for response. The technician never showed up or called me during the window.

What a waste of my time and bad customer support. They are horrible, they will not fix your equipments but will convince you that your equipments are old and was installed incorrectly.

Then they charge you an arm and a leg. Get quotes.

Updating my review as the repairs I had previously written about were unfortunately not done correctly. There was a gas leak that was caused and I had to evacuate and call PSE to come check out what was going on.

They shut off both my furnace and water heater - and, to be fair, the technician from Beacon had highlighted issues with the water heater but we opted to wait until our next paycheck to handle those issues. The leak from the furnace, however, appeared to be tied to the previous work we had done with Beacon, which was very frustrating considering it cost over $2000 to have a gas valve replaced.

The parts they had handled last time were covered under warranty, but there was a leak at a different point which needed a part replaced. This cost me over $400 to replace, which was very frustrating considering I had already paid so much for them to fix things the first time???? Overall, the technician was straightforward and polite, and did fix everything we asked the second time around, but we will not be working with Beacon again.

Toilet was clogged!! Tried everything! I call beacon because I was definitely freakin!!! They were at my house 30 mins after I called. Zadrien came in assessed the situation and got right to work and after about 30 mins the clog was cleared! He explained all the different variables and was very knowledgeable and friendly! He definitely knew what he was doing!! Very Thankful for beacon plumbing for saving the day!! Luis and Adam were amazing! Fast, efficient and super friendly! Would recommend again 100% The hot water had low water pressure.

I finally called and Travis came the same day. Making the appointment was a breeze.

The gentleman I spoke with was kind and attentive. Once Travis arrived he analyzed the bath tub and other faucets.

After ruling out different things by doing hands on methods, it was determined it was the water heater needing to be replaced. After 18 years it was time.

Travis was very respectful and allowed me time to contact my husband with zero pressure. He was very patient.

He represents the company well. Once everything was in place he showed us how to adjust if needed, cleaned his area and was on his way.

Great job for our family. I do NOT recommend this company if you're looking for services.

They left a big hole on my bathroom wall and cut the metal and put plastic around it for no reason at all! And told me I would have to do it myself. And the crazy part is that area was not what needed to be fixed.

The problem was downstairs and they didn't bother to look there until it was too late from the damages they caused me. They will overcharge you for everything.

Price was a bit high for refilling my hvac coolant. I called for a water heater problem.

Over the phone, John asked for my address and said he would arrive in about an hour and a half. Upon arrival he told my boyfriend that it would cost around $400 to diagnose the problem AND an additional $100 travel fee just for him showing up.

That fee was not disclosed over the phone prior to him coming here. John then tried to convince my boyfriend to sign a paper agreeing that we were going to pay the $100.

When my boyfriend said we weren't comfortable paying that much and we would have to think it over, John mentioned how I agreed to paying the travel fee over the phone. That is false.

Beacon Plumbing is a great company. We have used them on more than one occasion and have been completely satisfied.

This time Dean came out to fix our bathroom faucet and shower heads. He came in December to fix our toilet.

We asked him about the faucet, etc. He told us exactly what to buy and to call Beacon, give them the job number and schedule the repair when we were ready.

We finally got our act together, had all of the parts, called Beacon today and Dean showed up within 2 hours. Talk about service! Dean installed everything, tested his fixes, cleaned up afterwards.

Thanks Beacon. Informed by water company that I needed to have a backflow preventer valve installed on my sprinkler system.

Recently widowed and clueless about all the things my husband had taken care of, I called Beacon. Long story short, the two men spent a total of 5 hours here - 2-1/2 hours a day for two days.

Most of that time was spent in standing, talking, trying to figure out the sprinkler system. They told me they couldn't give a quote until the work was finished (?) but after researching on line, it seemed to me that the average cost for this same job ran from $500 to $1,500.

so I wasn't too concerned. The first day they spent about an hour digging and prepping for the installation.

Next day they spent about the same amount of time installing the valve and a master control for the sprinklers and filling in the hole. I was then presented with a bill for $6,148.06.

They said they had not included the $75 appt. charge.

And then came the high pressure to write a great review so they could win some sort of contest. Nope.

Both of these men were kind and patient with me. But the price was astronomically out of line and I will not be considering Beacon in the future, nor will I recommend them to others.

303069 I'm so grateful that Ismael and Brian came today. Our main water line broke underground between the meter and the house.

I was able to dig the hole and pin-point the issue, but I was unable to fix the issue myself. I decided to call Beacon Plumbing 425-679-9500 based on google search.

The operator stated upfront that there would be $100 charge for the visit and that the crew would be at our place within an hour! The crew called me before arriving to ask more details about the issue, so that they can come prepared with all the parts needed. In an hour, Ismael and Brian arrived at our place (7pm), inspected the issue and provided clear price estimate.

They've been very detailed and explained clearly what they would be repairing and even shown me the materials they would use. I accepted the price estimate and the crew started working on the repair - me watching them so I can learn.

Both Ismael and Brian were very professional throughout the repair. They disassembled the fittings and re-done the connections.

It was not an easy job as the main water line was quite deep underground and there was not much space to work in. Ismael and Brian helped me understand what they are doing and why throughout the repair.

They've very detailed and made sure that no debris/dirt gets trapped in the pipes, they've even vacuumed the pipes before making the connection. After the repair was done (9pm), we did turn the water on and let it run for a few minutes, from the outside hose bibs, to flush any debris, and to check if the new connection is not leaking.

Then in the house to make sure we have running water in the house. Ismael double-checked the connection for any leaks before completing the job.

After the repair, the crew suggested and did put a yellow stripe around the hole, so that nobody can fall into it. I'm so grateful for the amazing job that Ismael and Brian did today.

Made a late night call, scheduled an early appt. Dean provided quick and efficient service! Explained what needed to be done.

Graciously offered a small discount due to certain circumstances. Was cool with my dog.

Would recommend. Had Beacon out about three weeks ago because I could hear water not shutting off behind my angle stop.

Guy came out, did a few things, and said it was all fine. No issues but glad charged me the $80 service fee.

Three weeks later, same problem, only this time there was a small geyser of water continuing to flow into my toilet with no shutoff in sight. Beacon sent Jimmy, who made me laugh and feel way less stressed immediately when he called to say he was on his way.

He worked very hard getting to the root of the problem and ensuring that I got a new angle stop. He was polite in listening and was disappointed the first person who Beacon sent didn't fix things correctly.

I appreciated his kindness, and should I ever need plumbing repairs in the future I will most certainly ask for Jimmy. 4 stars because they had to come out twice, otherwise, if I had had Jimmy's level of service the first time, it would be a 5 star review.

Called Beacon because they were the only plumber who could come out next day. First of all, they charge $75 to show up.

Then they charge an approx. $600 flat rate to do any work.

They said they would show up some time during the day, so I used PTO to be home for that. They didn't get to my house until late in the evening, so I could have worked, but whatever.

They started by cutting the whole in my dining room ceiling. They determined that my roof was leaking, but decided that wasn't right when we checked the vent pipes in the attic and they were dry.

Then they cut exploratory holes in the master bath and came to the conclusion that my shower was dripping around the fixtures, but there was no actual leak. They did some caulking and started to leave.

I walked back through and immediately identified a drip coming from the hot water pipe, which they hadn't seen. I flagged them down before they left and showed them the leak.

They came back in, charged me for a second flat rate and did the repair. I called and spoke with Mark about the situation.

He said that he needed to review the invoices and talk to his work crew. He said that he would call me back on Tuesday and gave me a direct line cell number.

I tried calling when I didn't hear back and my call was rejected without even going to voice-mail. I will not be a Beacon customer again.

I gave two stars because they did repair the leak effectively when I found it. But I absolutely feel un-valued as a customer.

I feel like this company takes advantage of people who have plumbing problems and isn't even very good at what they do. Very disappointed with the treatment I received from thus company.

My tankless water heater failed on a 20-degree day, and Gio was able to make it out the same evening to give me a quote and the next morning to replace the unit. He was friendly, did an excellent job, and taught me a lot about my tankless water heater and radiant heat system along the way.

While the price wasn't the absolute lowest, I feel that it was fair for the quality of work and the urgency of the situation, and I'm very satisfied with the work. I just wanted to brag on Ismael and his assistant.

My furnace fan motor went out on Friday. I called Beacon and they were here in two hours.

Ismael diagnosed the issue but sadly he didn't have a replacement on the truck. He said he'd be back on Monday with the correct part.

He and his assistant arrived at 11 as promised and about 45 minutes later my furnace is up and running. Was Beacon the least expensive no but when your family is freezing it's the service that matters to me.

I could've waited a week for the other company but with temps in the 20's I don't think so. Thank you Beacon, Ismael and the assistant for making my family very happy.

I think it's fair to write an update to Beacon's response. They did send out a tech to do another scope, but by that point I had already gotten a scope done for $300 by someone else who, by the way, said my sewer pipe was completely fine, needed no work.

Whereas when beacon plumbing scoped it the first time, they said I had multiple pipe failures, cracks etc. Quoted me $4400 for a spot repair, but ideally recommended a $25,000 complete sewer line replacement! If you go with beacon plumbing, this could be you.

Do not give them your business. At around 3:30pm, we found our water heater had broken.

My husband contacted some friends and they recommended Beacon. Long story short, by 6pm we had a new tankless water heater installed with no problems.

Hands down the quickest, easiest turnaround I've ever experienced from a contractor in any state. No, it wasn't cheap, but these days I don't expect cheap.

I don't expect great service necessarily either, so it was a wonderful surprise to have everything happen so quickly, so efficiently, and so well. We will by all means use Beacon Plumbing again.

We had a drainage issue with our dishwasher and the plumber from beacon plumbing spent less than 2 mins pointing a flash light at the outside of a pipe and told me I needed a new dishwasher and there's nothing he can do. We had another family friend plumber come look at it and he was able to check the air gap and saw it clogged.

The plumber from beacon seemed frustrated when I initially ask for an explanation for how he determined there is no plumbing issue like I was too incompetent to understand. Save your money and time and go with another plumbing company.

I called in to leave them feedback about the work and were unhelpful. Called Beacon Plumbing to tackle a vent issue no other plumbing provider could handle.

Ismael called me and came to my house within 2 hours of my desperate call--No water and 90 degree weather coming on Sunday! He quickly scoped out the problem and fixed it with 45 minutes. My flowers and vegetables will survive and so will I.

Ismael was a complete professional and took care of the problem without hesitation. His assistant Ruben was very helpful too.

We called on a Monday morning and scheduled a person to come out between 11 and 2. Mike Sauget was there before 10! We discussed each step of the work that needed to happen and the price before they started working.

For any further recommended work, he talked me through the prices and gave me professional opinions when he answered my questions. The worksite was completely clean when he left and they had been so careful when digging that the grass was even almost perfectly back in place! They were efficient and kind and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

They straight up scam you. If you don't want to be scammed, make sure you record the initial quote they provide, because they will change what they quoted when they come to your house.

I am talking about fixed quote like travel cost and diagnostic fees, not quotes that can change upon inspection of the damage. Oh they overcharge their services too.

Classic bait and switch business. I had to call their customer service and tell them I know how to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office before they agreed to honor what they initially quoted us.

On the phone they indicated there would be a $100 service fee and $98 camera fee. But the final invoice does not even explain why it is so expensive.

Beacon took full advantage of me when our water heater died after a 2-week trip and charged me $10,500 for a simple water heater replacement (from a 75-gallon traditional water heater to a tankless). Yes, you read that right.

TEN. THOUSAND.

DOLLARS! I could have refused service and gone with another provider, but Beacon had strung us along all day. Refusing at that time would have likely meant at least another couple days without hot water going into the fourth of July weekend, so we didn't feel like we had much choice.

At 9am on Thursday (June 30) I called Beacon Plumbing after trying several times to get our water heater's pilot light re-lit. We had just returned at 1am from a two-week trip.

The dispatch operator told us they would have someone out between 11am and 2pm. Just before 11am Jon from Beacon called us to ask a few questions about our water heater and told us he'd be at our place between 3pm and 5pm.

Jon finally arrived at ~4:30pm. Before Jon arrived, I did some research on the going rates to replace a water heater with a tankless model and was coming up with about $4,000.

While Jon was working on a price, I was preparing myself for a $6,000 bill because this was short notice and Beacon must recover some of what they pay to Beast Mode for advertising. When Jon told me the cost was $10,442.70 (plus tax), I nearly had a heart attack.

There was no cost breakdown, just a few words explaining "replace 75Gallon gas water heater with high efficiency tankless type..." Jon also gave me the option of replacing with a 75G traditional water heater, but this cost was $9774.45 plus tax (also crazy ridiculous expensive). Jon noticed there was no 110v outlet near the water heater and was coordinating to get an electrician the next day to install one.

Per John, this would have been $700-$1,000 in addition. (I installed it myself that night.

20 mins. $10).

Reluctantly, I paid up front via credit card. That evening, after I installed the 110v outlet, I started thinking about the cost and decided I'd reach out to customer service before the work was done and ask for a breakdown of the pricing so I could understand why it was so expensive or they could make an adjustment to make the cost more reasonable.

I disclosed in my email to customer service that I was a retired Air Force pilot with 24 years' service. Jon arrived the next day and before he even got into my house he said, "so I hear you're a veteran" ...

"that's a 5% discount and works out to $574.87". Interesting that I (at this point) had no response from customer service, but someone obviously read my inquiry because there was otherwise no disclosure that I had been in the military, and I didn't think to ask about a military discount when Jon quoted me the price the day before.

(Note: more than two weeks after this install, I have not yet received this discount). The rest of the install was uneventful.

It took Jon until about 3pm to finish the job including cleanup. The new water heater works fine, really no complaints on the job Jon did or the install itself.

After Jon wrapped up, I reached out to Beacon once again now that I had more information (what model water heater was installed, how long it took to install, etc.). I wanted to share this information with Beacon and give them a chance once again to make this right by either justifying the cost with a breakdown to show what I was missing or offering a more reasonable price based on the work done.

Jon installed a Navien NPE-240A2. Quick Google search revealed the going retail price at less than $1900.

I was taken aback because when I asked Jon about what drives the cost so high, is it labor? he said "no, it's the equipment" and went on to give me a story about how equipment prices are so high now, several times what they used to be. I was furious when I found out the equipment costs ~20% what I was charged.

The total labor was less than 8 hours work. This works out to about $1,000 per hour of labor, which is at least 3x a reasonable rate even for the most experienced plumber.

To make matters worse, customer service's response to my inquiry was combative and hostile and made zero attempt to help me understand why the cost is so high. All Beacon cares about is their reputation.

Trust me, find one of the many other reputable plumbers who will charge reasonable prices, do a good job, and provide good customer service. Stay away from Beacon.

we called them at 2pm in the afternoon, you are desperate to get the leak repaired because you have 3 adults and two small children living with you. They come out, say it will cost 600 dollars to trouble shot the problem, you know it is expensive and go with it.

But, after they find the problem by cutting a large opening in your ceiling, they then up the quote to 3,000 dollars to repair a shower drain. They were on site 4.5 hours.

Arrive approx. 2:30 and departed at 7PM.

The parts were less than 200 dollars, it is very unreasonable to charge more than $650 dollars per hour for the repair. I spoke to the repairman, who was very professional.

I asked him to call the office, explaining their must be a mistake in the pricing. The price is what it is.

They know they have you at a disadvantage. Now you know why they can afford the expensive adds on TV.

Do not use them, call another reputable plumber. I think it is time to call Jessie on KIRO 7 so he can research this.

We will also be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. Honesty and efficiency is there thing.

Originally we didn't vent our water heater correctly. Beacon came out and fixed the issue under their original estimate.

All in a couple of hours. Thank you James was an amazing & very knowledgeable & able to fix the leaking water issue, as well cleaned up afterwards when he finished his job and repaired the leak.

Friendly & explained all that he was doing while working. Would highly recommend this company.

Even thou it was 9:45 @ night when James arrived, he worked diligently until 12:15 a.m. We had what we thought was a minor stoppage in our kitchen sink.

Turns out, we had severely clogged pipes, which required major work. James identified the problems, determined a solution, and worked hard to get it right.

We saw the pipes as he removed them - it was no joke! Beacon wasn't just trying to make a situation more expensive: we really needed the work done. James got it done right, and the price was reasonable.

(let's face it: plumbing repairs are going to be expensive. But he gave us a deal to make it a little easier.) Really happy with the work from Beacon Plumbing; James in particular.

We had a pressure reduction valve replaced by James at Beacon. He was quick, professional and courteous.

We will use Beacon again should the need arise. Our drain line backed up and led to the washing machine flooding the downstairs.

We had a home warranty that sent a plumber out but he was unable to clear the line with his cable/snake. After being in a holding pattern for a few days we called Beacon and they sent James out the same day.

Well, James took a snake and had that line cleared in about 15min! James was also very patient and helped us do some extra legwork / documentation so that I could submit a reimbursement request to my home warranty company. He also took a look at our overall situation and gave some suggestions for preventative work that we could do which I really appreciated.

Plus he was just an easygoing guy who was friendly to our kids and fun to chat with. It was a bit pricey but sometimes you get what you pay for ;) Thanks James (and Kasen at the office) for the hard work and being very flexible.

I went round and round and round and round with customer support until I gave up from mental exhaustion. I did happen to drive on Jackson in Tacoma where I saw this other review of Beacon.

I called Beacon to get a small leak fixed in my garage. $1,100 for 1.5 hours of work, which is outrageous.

Other reviews have mentioned high prices too. Stay away from this company, call around to get other quotes, it's worth the extra effort.

There is no escaping plumbing repair costs but at least Beacon was reasonable with their fees. On top of that, Gio and Elijah came and were very professional and Knowledgeable.

They were very reassuring and did everything they can to help find my issues. Gio is very experienced and knew what needed to be done.

Will definitely look for them for future repair needs. I noticed a water leak in my basement last week, we tried to pinpoint the direction of water flow and could not determine where it was coming from.

We contacted Beacon and they were professional, on time broke down costs of tracing leak, Ismael and Bryan found the leak behind our tub .. they listened to our concerns and were able to guide us into getting a professional out to remove our furnace so that we could spare shower remodel...

Beacon Plumbing has been my go to for the past two years , after a not so good experience with another company. We had a water main break in our yard.

We shut off water and called Beacon, and within an hour Gio and his assistant Zach were at the house ready to start. Gio really knows his stuff and wasted no time locating the break.

Not exactly an easy task with the pipe at least four feet underground. A few hours after calling Beacon, Gio had the pipe patched and the hole filled.

I have a wife and four kids, so I'm very grateful we got water back on so quickly. Thanks Gio, you averted disaster! Great service and a quick response to a home with no hot water on a cold January weekend.

beacon plumbing was called and arrived within the hour. Robert H was great and identified the root cause and faulty press valve and helped us out.

I would recommend beacon and Robert H for any plumbing issues On 5/13 I had Beacon come out to try and unclogged the kitchen sink but they were not successful. The plumber couldn't have been there for more than 40 minutes.

A good portion of that time was spent calling in for additional guidance. I was charged $604.45.

Due to the lack of time actually spent trying to unclog the sink I called another company "limitless pluming and sewer " for a second look. They charged me $362.67.

They performed the same troubleshooting steps and solved the problem in the same amount of time. I feel taken advantage so I wrote Beacon first asking for a refund, they denied my request even when I offered to show prof of both charges.

Called about replacing a dishwasher. I had already pulled out the old one and had a brand new one ready to install.

All I needed was the new dishwasher installed, that was it. I asked over the phone roughly how much it would be but they "had no idea" but offered to send someone out for a $100 service charge.

The tech comes out and offers the service for $2,000!! To replace a dishwasher seriously?!! For these levels of plumbers that should be a very simple job and nowhere near that price point. Unreal.

I had a leak in my bathroom, so I called Leak Masters, who is a division of Beacon Plumbing. They were a bit backed up due to emergencies because of flooding, but made it in the timeline I was given when I called.

Gio helped me determine I needed a new toilet which stopped the leak I was concerned about. I'll be calling them for another plumbing need.

i was charged a 400$ diagnostic fee, which didn't include service for electrical. when I called they said they would waive the fee for sending a guy out, however way overcharged.

we had a plastic burning smell in our house and small children, so needed to figure out what was going on. the electrician came out, looked around, sniffed in our vent, and told us it was the heater.

didn't perform any actual electrical tests. said he could send out the beacon hvac guy for an additional diagnostic fee of unknown rate.

it was in fact not the heater. pretty unsatisfied that he charged me 400 to walk around my house and tell me this wasn't his job, but another division in the company.

He was maybe here for 40 minutes. I had eight jobs as my home has 11 sinks, 4 toilets and 4 showers.

Overpaid them $2k+ for a like for like tankless replacement. Then the PEX piping they used to connect it developed a leak in a year.

Claimed they didn't do it and wanted to charge me $500 to fix a pinhole leak. Ridiculous.

Look elsewhere. Scam company! Their slogan should be changed to "if you want to be freakin' call Beacon!" I used them once when we had a plumbing leak.

Honest companies would charge an initial fee that includes a 30 minute diagnostic. That's what I thought when I called them.

They said that they would send someone out to take a look. The employee demanded we pay them first before they would step into our home.

I had to convince him to take a look at the leak at the ceiling that was right by the front door. Then he explained that they would have to do extensive diagnostic and have to cut out the drywall and the cost for any diagnosis is separate from the initial fee.

I pressed him to give us an estimate for diagnosis. He said it could be well over $600.

At least he was honest about the charges. From his approach, they would have charged us thousands of dollars for the diagnosis and we would have to spend thousands more to fix the damage caused by this guy.

An expert should know where to look first. We found out on our own that the leak came from a water line to the bathroom sink upstairs.

We were extremely relieved that we didn't fall for their scam. But we are still bitter about having to pay them just to show up.

If I lacked integrity, I would start a business doing just that. Getting $90 to $100 just for showing up.

I don't even need any skills because I wouldn't have to do anything but show up. Beacon Plumbing Is A Scam Company! I have been contacted by Beacon and have resolved the issue.

I've heard horror stories regarding plumbing services in the past, which is why I've generally gone with either repairing it myself, hiring personal references from family and friends. This problem required a professional touch which is why I called Beacon Plumbing.

Steve and Ben were excellent. Prompt, personable, and efficient which did a lot to sooth my anxiety about using plumbing services.

Not only were they both extremely professional, they were also very down to earth. The issue required a little bit of elbow grease, which they attacked with confidence and vigor.

I started calling plumbers while collecting water in buckets, and Beacon was the only company that could send someone out that evening. Big points to Beacon for that.

Josh and Brian arrived that night and did everything they could, but a cleanout was needed to hydro jet roots away, and the cleanout installation was going to have to wait until the next day. Again, points to Beacon for fitting me in right away.

There were some other issues that cropped up in this whole episode, but that isn't important to the review. 5 stars for Josh and his team (Brian, Stan).

Josh was extremely knowledgeable, creative in solutions, and upheld a very high level of communication throughout the whole process. I am very grateful for Josh's expertise and would recommend him to anyone.

Beacon deserves points for being able to fit me in, but I will say that the whole thing was very expensive. This was under the pretense of emergency services, so I am not surprised necessarily, but I feel pretty confident that I would have been able to have a cleanout installed for less than $9k and the other plumbing for less than $3.5k.

With that said, it was hard work, it was sewage, it was done well, and it was done right away. I hope that Josh's team personally sees a lot of the total bill because they deserve it.

Honestly the best everything Called Beacon to unplug a bath tub drain that had a clog farther down the pipe than I could reach with what I had. They came out in a timely manner.

Plumber finds the clog about 4 feet down and pulls up a giant fist size wad of hair with a long tail then proceeds to knock it off his snake and back into the drain pipe even though I had a bucket ready to dispose of it. I asked why he did that and asked what happens if it clogs further down the line.

He said not to worry if that happens call them out again then promptly charges me $500. Several weeks later I discover the kitchen sink on the lower level than the bath tub is now backing up if I allow the water to run for a minute.

Thanks for nothing Beacon. Guess I'll call Southwest Plumbing this time.

Giovanni and Dakota promptly came to our rental property and were able to help us with our emergency the same day. We had a pipe burst underneath the driveway and our tenants had no access to water.

We had several bids to excavate and fully replace the water line, but not for 2+ weeks out. Giovanni was knowledgeable and quick to provide us with several solutions to choose from without being pushy.

We decided to go with the temporary line he suggested that would give our tenants access to water within an hour. They went to work right away and saved us from having to relocate our tenants while we wait for excavator availability.

Thanks to Gio and Dakota for saving us time and money and for being so easy to work with! At 10pm at night a foul smell permeated the house. Following the smell, I found to my horror that the sewage injection pump in the basement had sprayed most of the interior of the furnace room.

Beacon arrived about an hour later, and had the output end of the sewage injection pump reconnected to the discharge pipe with a more robust connection than had existed before. No complaints about the time from them or the mess.

Beacon was courteous and professional and explained what they did to my satisfaction. Gato and Esther showed up and solved a septic emergency on short notice as it was getting dark.

Wastewater was backing up in our house and we couldn't even use the toilets! Turns out the people that sold us the house never even attempted to empty the septic tank. They found the 3rd compartment of the septic tank (solids) and pumped it that night.

Our nightmare was over. I highly recommend Beacon, especially Gato and Esther, who worked a really long day to give us the help we desperately needed.

They were quick to call me and make appointment for Leak Detection service ONLY. I was told date and time and that it cost $108 to come out.

She never said what the cost was for the leak detection service...I assumed $108. Silly me.

The $110 was for them to show up stand in my driveway and offer MEMBERSHIP services and monthly fees. Barely interested in my core issue.

He asked if I wanted leak detection services without membership and I said yes...and he quoted me $1200.00 for the service. I then proceeded to get robbed of the $108 for showing up.

I also took 2 hours off work. So I lost $325 in total.

I asked what it would cost for trench-less water line replacement, less than 30 feet mind you. I was quoted nearly $22,000!!! They evaluated NOTHING.

I completely understand the trades are pricey, rightfully so. But Appollo's smoke and mirrors and deception is despicable! I immediately got 2 more detection quotes from two smaller reputable companies.

HALF the price at $660. STAY AWAY from Appollo.

$1500 to replace FIVE INCHES of copper pipe. No, it was not an "emergency" call.

I even made an appointment, and the appointment was cancelled, and rescheduled. And I was flexible, and didn't call someone else.

And still they charged me freakin $1500. Also they did NOT turn my water back on after leaving.

And moved copper pipe in the crawl space, and after leaving, heard a loud metal twang of pipe dropping because they did a crap job of securing it. These guys should have their license revoked.

Incomprehensible how outrageous the charge is and how awful the service is. I hired Apollo Plumbing to fix a bathroom leak and a small sewage leak at my mother's house.

They sent Ramiro M, who was pleasant, and eager to help with whatever plumbing concerns we had. When I asked if he had time to provide estimates for several separate issues he said, "I'll rebuild the whole house if you want!" He provided estimates for fixing the leak under the sink, the sewage leak, plus a water leak he found under the house.

These three totaled around $4900. My mom, who is 86, does not have much money, and this represents about a third of her total savings, yet she wants to get things fixed, and fixed now.

When he added estimates at our request for replacing the toilet ($1600), the bathroom sink faucet ($850), the shower cartridge ($1000) and the leaky hot water shutoff under the bathroom sink ($4000), I had to talk her out of agreeing to have everything done on the spot. At those prices her savings would essentially be gone.

I had to leave before the work was done, so I paid him before I left. When I returned the following week I found that the underside of the bathroom sink was still leaking, albeit slowly.

They sent Ramiro out again, and he said that he had replaced the sink stopper assembly, but it was the P trap which was leaking. He agreed to fix it at no charge, however, which was appreciated.

He also said that if we went ahead with the $4000 repair of the hot water shutoff he would buy us a new sink faucet to install at no charge, as well as replace all the plumbing under the sink. In my experience, nothing screams overcharge like, "if you buy this, I'll throw in this, that and the other thing".

So I told mom that I would try the plumber recommended by the ownership of her mobile home park. That's what I should have done to begin with.

This company did not charge $99 to come out, but rather asked for emailed photos, and then provided written estimates in their emailed response, as well as a phone call. Their estimate for the shower cartridge was $405 (Apollo $1000) and $295 for the hot water shutoff leak.

That's the one that Ramiro quoted $4000 to repair... with the generously included "free gifts".

We hired them to do the work, and they completed it beautifully and on budget. I hadn't been aware that their estimate of $295 had also included replacing the cold water shutoff and replacing the hoses to the sink for both, but it did, and we could not have been happier with their work and the total charge of $773.50.

I don't know what their charges would have been for the initial three repairs but, based on this comparison, I'm sure it would have been quite a bit less than $4900. So, if you want to pay much more than necessary, hire Apollo Plumbing.

But if you want to save significant money, do your research like I should have done. But to be fair to Ramiro, he had a guide book which laid out the pricing for all repairs.

He said it was to prevent their plumbers from coming up with their own prices. And it seems like the pricing is set high enough to ensure that the estimate will not be exceeded, no matter what difficulties the plumber encounters.

But $4000 compared to $300 is nothing less than an outrage. Ben came over and solved a mystery clog deep down in the main drain.

He snaked it thoroughly until multiple obstructions were cleared. I called Apollo on a Saturday and they got me someone right away.

I appreciate Ben's experience. He was courteous and very communicative about the work.

I've used Apollo several times and like the fact that they have a powerful snake machine and camera if necessary. They were on time and went the extra mile to make sure I was a happy customer.

Apollo, you have a couple of gems working for you, and keep up the good work boys!! I would never do business with them again. Henry was a go getter salesman, refusing to address the problem, he was asked to use a snake, camera or jetter to verify our drain was clogged.

He refused to do any work unless he could do what he wanted. Almost $5000 billed, he gave us a bogus receipt with no total, said he would email pictures and receipt to us.

He was asked several times for the paperwork, he claims his boss is out of the office. His service was an absolute nightmare.

At our place of business we have had numerous issues with water backups due to pipe blockages. We have had a series of plumbers come out and, while each one removed the blockage, only Ben from Apollo Plumbing took the time to go beyond the blockage and help determine the cause(s).

He explained in layman terms his findings and potential solutions to the problem. I will use Apollo and Ben again for future plumbing issues.

Contacted Apollo Plumbing for a clogged main drain line. Was told on top of the $83 fee advertised on 106.9 radio there was also a $100 trip fee.

Plumber came out and estimated the service at $650 to access the drain through the open toilet drop. Told him No Way.

He called his Applo supervisor whom said they would discount by $25 provided that I didn't report on social media. Told him to leave my property.

Went to Home Depot and rented their clean out machine for $69 to clean the line in 30 minutes time. Sheldon was professional, pleasant and communicated clearly.

He shared clear and accurate expectations for the timeframe for completion of our project. We are so grateful to have our plumbing problems solved! When I called to make the appointment I was told there would be a $99 service fee.

I was told they could install my water heater same day. They were an hour late (no updates provided) and when they got here said they could not get it done same day...

but still charged the service fee. I'm considering disputing the charges.

The tech was pleasant and that's the only reason for 2 stars. I ended up calling someone else that lived up to their promises.

After a wicked cold snap we got hit with a huge water bill. Some quick trouble shooting and I isolated the line from the meter to the crawl space to be the point of the leak.

I even dug up the meter box and our irrigation box to verify the tie in's were not the source of the leak. Called Apollo plumbing and they came out to give a $7,700 bid to replace 30ft of line at $175 per foot and an additional $1,100 for a vac truck.

That was the first red flag. The dude tells me inside my house that its $155 per foot and then writes up a bid at $175 per foot.

Either way I call my insurance, start a home owners claim, send in my water bill, increased usage, and weather reports that coincided with the cold snap. Insurance contacted Apollo plumbing to verify the cracked pipe could be related to the cold snap we had.

That's when the technician Josh states to the insurance company that the cold weather in no way could have affected the pipe breaking. Any idiot with half a brain can tell you that cold weather causes expansion and contraction of foundations and the earth, which led to the pipe breaking.

So now my insurance denied the claim. My piece of advice is not to let these clowns near your house or property.

Keep them as far away as possible. Geoff came and quickly fixed my clogged drain.

Geoff knew exactly what to check and had situation resolved in less than 30 minutes. Very professional and friendly.

I would recommend him to anyone. Beware of this company and their price gouging.

The radio ads lead you to believe they will charge $99 to clean a drain but we were charged $640 per drain and the technician was here less than an hour. Plenty of other shops that don't charge this exorbitant amount and next time I will call them.

(We've had this particular issue fixed multiple times and never paid more than $725 total). They tried to tell me that prices had gone up since COVID, which I can understand, but no way they increased 2X in 2 years.

I contacted Apollo Plumbing to set up an appointment for several repairs to be done. Phone staff was pleasant and their were eager to communicate to set the appointment.

Then came the day. After waiting over 45 minutes from the agreed appointment there was a no show.

I called the company to ask if they forgot us. The operator looked into it and said he is finishing up another job.

At this point I asked, "Don't you think you should have given us an update that the plumber would be arriving later?" As a professional service provider you should consider the simple things to ensure quality from beginning to end. If this is how the beginning of their service starts, imagine what the end result of their service may look like.

I will BIT suggest or advise anyone to use Appollo Plumbers were called back twice for leaks they caused and or missed. The P trap installed in the ceiling hung lower than the drywall clearance, so that had to be re-done as well.

Our downstairs floors are now ruined and need to be replaced because they hit a water pipe while cutting through drain line and during the chaos couldn't find the shut off valve. They broke an expensive perfume bottle and the key off of a jewelry cabinet and tried to hide it.

We are now unable to sleep in the owner suite until the water damage is mitigated and the floors are replaced. The Toilets weren't set right and holes were visible to the sub-floors.

Accidents happen, but poor workmanship lead to leaks in three places where it shouldn't have. I'm irritated and never using them again.

Update: we're now being told that they may not pay for abatement of asbestos that was found when they flooded our floors and may not cover our out of pocket living expenses while we cannot live in the house while it's being abated. WTF? This is caused by their incompetence.

Time to get lawyers involved. Toilet was leaking so I called Apollo Plumbing.

They had a technician they could send out same day. Prior to arrival, they let me know via text a name, photo, and bio on the technician who would be arriving.

Chris showed up and quickly diagnosed my problem and educated me on how it happened and how to prevent in the future. He made me feel safe and was a complete professional the entire time.

I would recommend Apollo Plumbing to anyone is need of a plumber. Ridiculously expensive! I called Apollo because my sewer line was clogged.

They sent a plumber who did nothing more than LOOK at the toilet to confirm that it was clogged so I was charged $99 for him to tell me something I already knew. When he told me that Apollo charges $350 to remove and reset a toilet I was was astounded because I can do that in 15-20 minutes.

His estimate to run a 75' snake down the line was $1400 but if he needed a longer snake, a hydro jet, or a camera it would be substantially more so I sent him packing. I rented a 100' auto feed snake at Home Depot for $75 and cleared the drain in less than an hour.

After a nightmare encounter with a previous plumber, we decided to call Apollo. Zac came out saw the problem with the toilet and fixed it to the best of his ability until we eventually replace it.

The bigger issue was we had a hose on the outside of house leaking since we moved in. The previous company we called out through our home warranty took some pictures and said it would take days to come back and fix.

Never heard from the company four days later. Nobody could wait this long! Zac took care of it 30 minutes later.

The minus star I have with this place is I was told some one would be here between 12-2pm and it was 2:45 when zac arrived. May not seem like a big deal, but when someone who works nights has to get up for can be quite annoying.

My mother-in-law had a dripping hose bib on her balcony, and my sister-in-law called Apollo to come out and fix it. The only thing they did was to replace the hose bib and they charged her close to 500., which is a ridiculous amount for this work.

She is on a fixed income and was very upset with the cost. Not sure if they possibly charged more because she lives in Lake Forest Park, but again, this cost was way too high.

Called Apollo after discovering my old cast iron sewer piping was rusted and leaking. Geoff came out promptly, assessed the system and after discussing options, gave me a reasonable estimate on the spot.

We agreed on a date. He and his assistant completed the replacement work in one day.

Professional,prompt and honest. Thumbs up! I hired Apollo Plumbing to repair my garbage disposal that was not working.

They showed up promptly and let me know that It could not be repaired. There was a screw caught in the wall of the garbage disposal.

When I was told that it would cost over $600 for a new garbage disposal and installation, I was shocked but was told that they were doing me a favor and giving me a discount and surely I could afford it. I reluctantly paid them to have a new garbage disposal installed.

A few days later I tried to run by dishwasher. It would not drain.

Since the dishwasher was only a couple of months old, I called the place where I bought it. A few days later, the dishwasher repair person came out and after looking at the dishwasher told me that it was not a dishwasher issue but the incorrect installation of the garbage disposal.

He was able to fix it, which only took less than five minutes. He charged me $150 for the service call.

I called Apollo to see if I could get the $150 back from them as I wouldn't have had to pay it if they would have installed the garbage disposal correctly. I was told that the service manager would get back to me.

He never did! I sent them a letter detailing my issue. They have not responded.

I have also never received my invoice from them. READ THE OTHER REVIEWS, STAY AWAY They charge top dollar for very poor service.

Do yourself a favor and stay away. I paid $1200 to clear my lines, received minimal service, and the problem came back within a week.

I had them clear out a blocked sewer main at my house. This has been a problem I've dealt with in the past and I previously used two of their competitors, who both did a much better job in comparison to what I received from Apollo.

First they charge a $100 minimum trip charge. They then charged me $350 to remove/reinstall my toilet because my sewer cleanout was "inaccessible" - The cleanout is 6' away from the entrance to my crawlspace and my crawlspace is over 3' tall in height.

The two other sewer cleaning companies that came to my house both actually commented on how nice it was that my cleanout is easily accessible. Also, Apollo's installers also did not caulk my toilet back in place like it was before they removed it.

They then charged me another $650 claiming that they "pushed the blockage down" The diagnosis was a pipe transition in my yard causing tissue to accumulate over time. I was already aware of this issue and had actually informed the plumbers of it when they got there.

I asked about how the transition looked to them as the previous 2 companies said it could cause issues from time to time but did not warrant a replacement. Apollo's plumber agreed, it could cause problems over time but it should be good for a while but suggested getting it jetted out every year.

That was all fine with me. The problem came then back a week later, which has never happened with the two other companies I used in the past.

It's been over a year both times I've had this work done. They also do not provide video footage, which again, is an industry standard service that should be provided.

They do not carry that equipment and will not provide the footage unless you request it, they will also charge you extra in addition to the $1,200 you are already paying. I paid less through their competitors and received video footage from both of them, without asking.

I spoke to their office about my problem and was told the problem came back due to the transition I have in my yard. There is truth to this transition causing accumulation over a long time, but had they done what I paid for, there is absolutely no way that my 4" pipe, that was allegedly cleared, got backed up in less than a week.

The house wasn't even occupied that entire week. I work as a general contractor and know how to spot outfits like this.

I had a feeling I was being taken for a ride but went with them out of necessity. It had been over three years, but I called Apollo regarding fully connected pipes under my sink, no way to open the gooseneck for a clog.

I was told the plumber that they sent no longer works for them. As if it was his problem and not theirs.

They said since he is gone nothing they can do about it. Good thing is that he is gone.

$800 for installing a drain in a kitchen sink that took less than an hour is too much. Look at your records Apollo, this is correct.

Look at the reviews and it is clear tht Apollo charges a lot. Wish that they would have done better work for the price paid.

Needed a plumber on Sunday of a three-day weekend. Apollo Plumbing was able to send a tech out within a couple of hours.

Josh was friendly and competent. He took care of our issue and told me to call if the problem came back.

The fee was quite reasonable. Would definitely hire them again.

Stay away from these people. I'm not going into details.

Just look elsewhere for a plumber. Charges over $100.

I never would have used this business if I'd read the reviews. We had a burst pipe in the wall and were in need of plumber quickly.

They were there for less than two ours and the charge was $1,500. I don't see how they can condone charging that.

We had a very honest plumber in the past, who worked solo, but he has been out of touch for some time now. Really disappointed with Apollo Plumbing.

Had used them before and been happy but needed a kitchen faucet installed in a short time period and didn't have time to shop around. I had them out and they charged $800.

I had heard from other real estate professionals to expect to pay between $3-400. A quick google search says it should cost between 160-300.

I will not recommend them or do business with them again. Had 3 minor plumbing issues.

Got next day service! They did not wast time and knocked out all 3 quickly and gave good advice on a 4th. They were honest about what could be postponed and what could be ignored.

Reasonably priced. We found our plumber.

Do not use this service. They charged us 100 to come out to inspect the problem and left without fixing it.

RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE!! They charged me ~$1400 for replacing water pressure reducer valve. A quick online search shows $300-$400.

The valve itself costs about $170 at Home Depot. I should have just pay the $99 come in fee to asses water leak and send them back.

$1200 for replacing a spigot?! Yikes. Shame on you guys.

Apollo. Called to schedule a plumber to come out and replace cartridge on 2 showers, the 2 stars are for scheduling and promptness, brand name of fixtures was Moen.

tech checked shower head and confirmed cartridges needed replacement. Tech went to his van to call for advice, came back 1/2 hour later and said they cannot find parts and to try Moen.

Stated they could update shower fixtures and would need to go thru drywall and I would need to remove fireplace in master for access to replace all fixtures and could run around 11,000 . Told Tech to send a bid, tech called back later and suggested I remodel bathroom would save more by doing this, I asked him to send bid anyway.

Got ahold of Moen and they are sending parts free of charge. Have not received any bid, cost $109 for not much advice, I will try Aurora plumbing once I have parts, and I think I will have this fixed for under $500 (I hope) terrible company.

Made an appointment for them to come out on Tuesday then the day of appointment they cancel say they need to reschedule due to staffing issues. annoying but okay.

Then I made an appointment for Friday to take care of the leak in my celing. They then show up to my house late, take a look at the leak and say it's not something they can fix and then they still charge me the $80 fee just to come out! I would understand if they did an assessment and still charged me if I decided not to do the work.

But to still charge me when you can't even do the work you came out to do? Shame on you! I will tell everyone I know not to use you. To make matters worse now I have to call another company to fix my problem and waste more of my time.

thanks for nothing! Picked up the phone yesterday to give Apollo a go, super easy to schedule and they were able to get someone out today. Jason was fantastic was able to get to the issue (a 2 year old broken frost free hose bib installed by a cheap, bad plumber that didn't do it right) fast and give me a upfront estimate of the work.

Gave him the ok and he knocked it out of the park on the install. Had to open a pocket of drywall and Jason did it with minimal damage to the wall as possible, installed the hose bib replacement, checked all my faucets and even pressure tested my water.

Excellent work and was fun to chat with in the mean time. If you're looking for cheap work and hack installs this isn't the company for you.

If you're looking for quality work, great service, and a great job at a fair price look no further then Apollo plumbing. I will use this company for any other jobs that may come up and definitely recommend to my neighbors and anyone that needs a fantastic plumbing company! Told me they could repair my tank - thermo cupler.

But to pay 855$ for less then two hours of work and all the guy has to do was unplug a sewer drain? Cmawn! Charged me 300$ bucks to pull and replace my toilet which is ridiculous... Any other day I would have done it myself but I was on my current flip project site and just had to get this done.

I guess it is what it is. But no one and I mean NO ONE in the general labor trade iss work 425$ an hour.

R Apollo is one of the best plumbing companies around and Dan is very knowledgeable. I've had them out three times in the last 7-8 years, each time they performed well.

Expect high-end pricing. Apollo Plumbing...Taking advantage of seniors and the handicapped! Apollo plumbing charged my father-in-law (Herb) $1,400 to fix a pinhole leak in a pipe in his yard.

After showing up their plumber told Herb it will cost him ~$2,000 for them to dig the hole and fix the leaking pipe, but their plumber offered to reduce the price to $800 if the 83-year-old handicapped man (who's had a quadruple bypass) dug the 18" deep hole _himself_...right then and there with a shovel. As he lives on a fixed income the senior citizen took the shovel and dug the hole!!! Apollo's plumber then cut a small section of black poly pipe out that had a pinhole leak and repaired it with an inexpensive barbed fitting.

Afterwards the 83-year-old filled the hole himself. We called Apollo Plumbing multiple times to dispute the $1,400 charge (not $800 as they told him) for 20 minutes of "work" and they claim this is their "going rate".

We called numerous other plumbing companies and they agreed that Apollo Plumbing robbed this handicapped senior citizen. This is Price Gouging at its Finest!! I had this company out for a simple backed up water line in my kitchen sink.

This was not an emergency call which they boast they don't charge for anyway?? No, they just treat it like one and factor it into your total. After 20 min, the tech stepped out to write up his estimate for $744.10?? What, are you kidding me??? I was actually embarrassed for the poor tech having to even present this.

I had heard their cute commercials on a favorite radio station and was looking for a plumber with good reviews that I could use on a steady basis. Lesson learned, save your money and don't use this company!! It cost me a $99 to get rid of them but the good news is I saved over $500 by using another company that did the job the same day under an hour for a total of $218.

Corey showed up to a property to perform a sewer scope for us. Upon learning that the sewer was more complex than he had equipment for, his attitude turned toxic and unprofessional and he left in a huff.

The listing agent and my agent, who were also present, were appalled. He did not contact me or my agent to explain what happened, determine next steps, or refer someone who could help.

They really are 5 stars specialists. Recently, I had a main water line leakage problem.

Called Apollo for an estimate. The manager gave me the estimates with two options to fix the problem.

I made a decision to install a new main water line with a 30 years warranty. Apollo used a drilling machine to install a pipe under my 150 feet concrete driveway.

This way, there was no mess, driveway was not damaged, pipe installed in the matter of hours. I have peace of mind for the next 30 years.

I would recommend Apollo Plumbing Professionals to those who need the high quality plumbing services. Great Service!! We called and explained our plumbing "crisis".

Within an hour of that call we had a plumber at our home. They sent us a txt confirming the visit, including a pic of the person who would be performing the service.

Mark arrived soon after the txt and he was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Our problem was solved within 30 mins.!! We were extremely happy with the service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family & friend's.

Chris T did a wonderful job installing our water heater. He informed me of everything he was doing and the final cost was as quoted.

My dogs loved him and he was great with them. I want to adopt Chris! These guys are great! A pleasant voice answered the phone and scheduled my appointment.

They came out next day and were super friendly and professional. Dan was my technician and he got the job done!! I had bought a new garbage disposal and he installed it, connected to my dishwasher and had it up in running in no time.

Prices seemed to be fair. I highly recommend Apollo Plumbing! I would not recommend this company! ! I had a plugged toilet (toilet paper) it had flooded and was quite the mess.

I had called a plumber but they could get there for several days. I needed this fix ASAP so I called Apollo Plumbing I should have done my homework I would NEVER! have hired them.

They did come out quickly When the service guy got here he told me it would be $207.00 to Ugger it so he had me sign a contract to do the job I did After 10 or 15 mins he said that he it was not working. So he said he would give me a bid to remove the toilet service it and replace or to install a new toilet.

The bid to replace and reinstall was $935. Approximate for new toilet $1092.

Of course $157 diffence I went with new. More contracts.

He did tell me they would take $200. Off if i wanted to go and buy one and they would install I did not have the time so I went with theirs.

Mind you this is the first time I've had to hire a plumber and was told they are expensive. I was SHOCKED at these prices but i already had him here so I ended up with a new toilet .after all said and done when he gave me a receipt I asked for itemized receipt and was told they do a flat rate I did not know this.

After he left I did some math and for less then 2 hours of work I paid around $561 dollars in labor!!!! i was very upset I am retired and on a budget. I called several plumbers to check their prices this job should have at the most cost $250.00 to unplug a toilet.

I DID NOT NEED A NEW TOILET!! ALL I CAN SAY IS DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND READ THESE COMMENTS I have to say this was the single most deceitful business I have ever experienced. A simple garage hose bib repar due to last winter's freeze.

$1200+ estimate seemed a bit high but wasn't going to waste my $100 estimate fee so I ok'd the repair. As they were finishing up, I connected my outdoor hose reel and waiting for them to give me the go ahead to test.

I turn it on and immediately discovered that there was another leak up the line. They repaired the line and it added $150 extra to the cost so, oh well I guess.

After the 2nd test it appeared to be fine, however listening with ear to dry wall they said it sounds like there could be another leak and packed up their stuff and left as it was past 5pm and they didn't appear to want to keep working. Just said it appears to be holding.

So overnight the leak become noticeable with puddles of water on the garage and soaked drywall. I called the dispatch number explaining they would need to follow up on what they anticipated would be another leak.

And that the service call $100 should not apply and the lady on the other agreed. Once they got back here and gave me estimate for the fix of the leak which was identifical to first leak the fixed for only $150, this leak was going to cost over $600.

I refused and asked why the same exact repair would be $450 more and couldn't really get an acceptable answer, I declined the cost of repair. Then I was handed the $100 service call fee that I was told was going to be waived because they had just been out the day before and pretty knew what the problem was already.

I blasted into Mr. Zac H with some choice and colorful words after which he responded with the "best I can do according to manager is $495." So apparently they change their pricing on a day to day basis, 2 identical repairs to the same line $150 one day and $495 the next.

And those leak repairs took less than 25 minutes each, so when they came back and tried to shove an over $600 repair up my @$$, which i negotiated to $495, it look 20-25 minutes to fix so that indicates to me a relatively quick, and less than expensive fix. So close to $2000 later and my house in their rear view mirror I can safely say this is the most blatantly crooked business I have ever encountered.

Mark, Geoff, and Tyler were fantastic. They arrived on schedule, made solid recommendations, and were willing to adjust their schedules when I asked (mid-job) to expand the scope of work.

I was orginally going to do a partial water line replacement since several contractors were unable/unwilling to do the more risky full line replacement, but Appollo Plumbing found an ingenious (and less risky) way to replace the entire line. I was so impressed that I also asked them to replace my 12 year old electric water heater with a new heat pump water heater.

They did a great job and were very friendly and professional. Appollo Plumbing is officially on my list of reliable, dependable, top-notch professionals to call when I need help.

NEVER NEVER NEVER use this company for plumbing needs. They charged us over $1000 to install a faucet in our kitchen after we got new countertops.

It was nearly impossible to get someone to show up and once they did they didn't have the correct parts. They said they would come back later that day with the parts.

They never returned and then days later sent someone new (the previous guy had quit his job in the meantime). This guy was a real smooth talker and then installed our faucet incorrectly and the whole thing came loose a week later.

He installed it without the nut underneath to hold the faucet in place. It has been a nightmare trying to get someone on the phone to fix the issue so we have given up and are trying to fix it ourselves.

The second guy who came also was brutally honest about how bad of a company Apollo is and how many employees have quit and how the management is not handling things well with a turnover in leadership. AVOID THIS COMPANY! We had to put in a backwater prevention device per the city of Everett, and boy did I dread the inconvenience of having workmen traipsing through my basement and digging in my yard.

Also, I'd dealt with my share of contractors, and looked forward to that like I look forward to talking to Comcast about why my cable isn't working. So after I worked myself up to it I called Apollo, one if the half-dozen or so contractors on the list that the city gave me.

From that point on it couldn't have been easier. Patrick was the guy in charge, and he always showed up on time, was ready to go to work, and clearly had his head in the game.

His guys were friendly; no one was smoking, goofing off, or coming upstairs to snoop around. They probably could have done the whole job (which included tearing up concrete in my basement to install the device since the sewer pipe in the yard was 6 feet down) if I had been available for two whole days.

However, since I wasn't, they worked around my schedule. Their work passed the city inspection, looks great, and functions fine as far as I can tell.

If I ever need a plumber I'll call these guys again. We called this company, they gave us a bid of $2400 which seemed high - but we needed our plumbing repaired.

After the project was complete the bill was close to $4000. We calculated that labor alone was approximately $350 to $400 per hour.

When I asked for a detailed invoice I was told, "I don't like paper work". I never received the detailed invoice.

I would not use this company again and do not recommend them for anyone else. We feel like we were totally taken advantage of.

I had requested an estimate for some water drainage from the excavation department. I waited 3 weeks for someone to come out to do the estimate (the person got sick so my original appt was pushed out).

The estimator came out and looked at it. I had to message them to find out when I would get the estimate - they said I would receive it that night.

THAT WAS NOW A MONTH AGO. I have called multiple times, emailed.

The response is always an excuse - oh, we will look into that, etc. Apparently it was never sent.

If it takes this long to get an estimate, imagine how much follow up you would have to do on the actual job. Not recommending them at all...we had a problem leak somewhere in the bathroom this guys came in ddnt even find the problem instead caulking our toilet we got charge $250.

So my husband called our handyman found the problem told us to call plumber so we did we called them again show him the problem instead telling us needs to tear apart our bath tub which is newly remodeled our bathroom! Oh boy gave my husband a bad anxiety attack ...anyway he ddnt fix the problem again & charge us again I'm not sure how much I think $150. So we called a different plumber Thank God we did he solved the problem & he knows right away what's wrong without tearing apart our bath tub! Apollo Plumbing charge us without solving the problem!!! What a ripped off!!! They come off really nice and professional at first...

then they rake you over the coals. they charge 3 to 4 times what others are charging.

do yourself a favor and call someone else. I paid nearly 2K to these guys to have the same problem less than 2 weeks later...

when I called them, they scheduled to come back right away... then 10 minutes later, they call and say I'll have to pay them again.

I obviously cancelled right then and there. I consulted another plumber on a recommendation from a neighbor.

he described them as con-artists. Don't be fooled by their radio ads, these guys will rip you off.

We had our kitchen sink that was clogged. The plumber showed up took a look and snaked it once and then said, "He couldn't help me (A senior) because he didn't have the proper equipment and that I should call Roto-Rooter.

He then left.We did just that, and Roto-Rooter was out in 30 minutes after he left. The problem was then fixed.

He used the same equipment that the Apollo Plumbing person had. It was as though he could not get out of our home fast enough.

In fairness to the company, he said there is No charge. I used them in past and good experience and thought price was fair for 2 people for 2 hours of job, I called them again for another job.

The plumber gave a fixed price bid and said it would be completed in 2 hours. I agreed.

The work took one hour to complete for 1 guy and paid 1100$, parts would not cost more then 200$, also he didn't add insulation for the water pipe and said not required, previous pipe had insulation. It's just rip off to charge 800$ labor for 1 person for 1 hour.

I will not use them again and please don't go with this type of fixed price policy They came out promptly and gave me an estimate for a new main water line running from my water meter to my garage, a distance of approx 60 feet. The estimate included running the line underground and under our driveway and would have included a new shut off valve.

I decided not to go with this company because their bid was $1,500 more than another company that bid the exact same work, supplies and warranty. I can appreciate the professionals that they have on board and how quick they estimated they could have done the job, but I couldn't help but feel like they were over charging.

I'm glad I got multiple bids. I am so happy to have found a plumber I could trust! Trevor came out and fixed the sink shut off in my master bathroom with ease.

He was friendly and explained everything he was doing making me feel comfortable. The price was fantastic especially since Becon plumbing wanted money just to come out and give me an estimate.

I LOVE this company and will continue to use them in the future. Great communication and an eagerness to help with my plumbing problem..

Gets overwhelming dealing with companies but they put me at ease.. thank you Apollo I had a leaking water main underground and Tyler, Mark and the ladies I spoke to at the office were fantastic! Technician who came out was on time.

We had several items needed to be looked at. He told us exactly what was wrong with all items so we could go and replace the parts on our own since they were easy fixes.

I called Apollo plumbing after being referred by several friends in mukilteo. Corey came out to our home and was on time and very nice.

The problem with our downstairs sink ended up being an easy fix that we could actually fix our self. He offered to fix it, but told us honestly it would be easy and cheaper to just replace the fixture ourselves.

I appreciate his honesty and I asked if I could pay him for his time. He said not at all! I will absolutely will be calling them again and referring when the time comes! Honesty goes a long way in my books! :) I manage multiple properties in the Lake Stevens area.

Recently I had major plumbing issues. I contacted multiple different plumbing companies in the area, to have them qoute the repairs for my buildings.

The other companies were reluctant, flakey or were not available within a reasonable time frame. I called Apollo Plumbing once in the evening, they sent someone out the very next morning and I had a qoute within 24 hours after placing the initial call.

The pricing was fair and they patiently worked with us as we had to coordinate their work with other vendors. Once they came out for the job, they were quick, professional and happy to answer all my questions.

I have used Apollo Plumbing for repairs on sites I previously managed as well, over the past few years, they consistently provide quick and professional work! I would definitely recommend their services! They did a quote for a master bath remodel and seemed professional. We chose them to do the plumbing work, had everything ready for them to come in and take care of it.

1st appointment we were told they had emergencies and couldn't make it, rescheduled for the next day. They didn't show up, called and said they couldn't make it, rescheduled for 2 days later.

Person showed up 4 hours late, said he got off of work in 1/2 hour not able to do it, rescheduled for 9 am a week later, didn't show up called said they would be here at 11 am, didn't show up until 2:30 and then says he can't do it. Unreliable!! Apollo Plumbing is so freakin awesome.

On top on seeing me within two hours of my phone call they sent me their superstars, Quinn. All the other reviews are correct when about Quinn.

The builder's handyman tried to figure out what was wrong and dismissed it as a problem with the facet and not they work which made the responsibility on us. I called Apollo Plumbing because I heard their ad on Komo news radio and I'm glad I did.

Since the source of the leak wasn't obvious, Quinn played around with searched until he found the source. Now I know what the problem was and solution was an easy fix...now to get the builder to reimburse me for service of Apollo Plumbing and repair the water damaged vanity.

In short, this company is polite, professional, helpful, thorough, and I would call them again. They may be a bit high on the price but not the most expensive out there, and you really get your money's worth.

So I looked on yelp and checked out the reviews about Apollo Plumbing and their competitors. I called Apollo up and the lady on the phone was super helpful and nice.

She even offered me a coupon that waived the call out fee so I could get a free estimate. The plumber, Matthew Gardner, who came out was the model of polite professionalism.

He was very helpful in diagnosing my leaking sink issue and even though it wasn't a plumbing problem he called one of his professional contacts to try and find me a contractor to remount my sink. The lead didn't pan out but he put forth the effort and it really impressed me.

I also had Matthew look at a leaking washing machine which turned out to be an appliance problem. I could tell he was sure it wasn't a plumbing issue to begin with but he was more than happy to hop back there and check the pipes to put my mind at ease.

He fixed my outdoor taps very quickly and gave me several tips to maintain the new installation. He even offered to answer any questions and invited me to watch his repair while he worked.

He was very thorough in his answers and taught me about the differences between certain plumbing hardware brands for the job he was working on. Fantastic customer service! Recently called Apollo Plumbing after another company disappointed me.

The Apollo plumber showed up on time, was personable and friendly. It is now 3 days later, and it appears the leak has been fixed and no longer an issue.

I have used Gene Johnson Plumbing and Heating on two previous occasions. Both services at that time received a 5-star review.

I called GJ for annual maintenance services. I inquired about the prices for my hot water heater, and other maintenance.

To my surprise, I was told they could not disclose the prices, not even ball-park cost. This sounded a bit strange...? Going on the two past times I made the appt.

Before Tyler arrived, we moved the dryer to allow ample space for the service. I wiped down the dust and cleaned the area.

Tyler arrived and started to work. I asked if there was anything he needed from me before he started.

He replied "No". Several minutes later, I checked on him again, and he pointed out to the release valve and said "the valve is leaking".

Imagine my surprise, since there was no sign of a leak when I wiped the dusty water heater, and my cleaning towel was NOT wet! I mentioned this to him, no sign of water leaking, no puddle, and he said "well I see it". Erring on the side of caution, I okayed a replacement...Tyler also did other work-- a Moen faucet replacement, was charged as a Kohler.

Although both jobs were acceptable, I couldn't help but questioin the "dripping" water heater valve. I would have noticed.

I questioned my husband when he got home from work, as he helped with clearing the work area. He agreed that it was not leaking whe he wiped down the top of the water heater.

I made everal calls were made to Tyler, for over a week to get a response. I spoke to several employees at Gene Johnson to make sure he got my message to call.

Time was scheduled for the call. He claimed he called but the phone never rang.

When he kept ignorning my efforts to communicate and get an explanation for the inconsistencies. I could not help but be suspicious of his work ethic.

No one at Gene Johnson could speak to his actions or charges, or his error on the invoices. After speaking to some neighbors about this incident, I got a "not surprised" response from one person.

"Not new" from the other. I'm very happy with the quality and value of the service received.

The plumber sent to my home, Tyler, was very knowledgeable and helped me choose from a variety of solutions that worked within my budget. I appreciate the extra effort that he applied throughout the project, and I'm very pleased with the outcome.

Tech came twice and unable to fix a simple weak flow faucet. First told me it was cartridge (in a brand new faucet).

Ran around town over two days to buy it for $55 and install myself. Lo and behold no impact on problem.

Came back a second time and could not diagnose issue. So I'm left with their $275 bill and a part I never needed and an unfixed issue.

Despite not liking the final price, they were 100% on the overall service. Tyler a technician from Gene Johnson plumbing, heating and electrical, came out to repair a leaking sewer line and do a rough in for a kitchen remodel that I have started.

The job turned out to be quite alot more difficult than anticipated, taking two days, instead of one day. The reason it took longer, is, our house is 114 years old and Tyler needed to bring water lines from the basement into a difficult to access crawl space.

When I called to have them come fix a broken condensation pump that is leaking all over my garage and into the furnace and duct work, the earliest they could come out is in a week. In a week the whole mess will be 1000% worse.

So glad I can count on them to fix something they installed in an emergency! I would NOT recommend them. This is hands down the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

The communication was horrible and their prices exorbitant (found out too late). A simple install of a new AC, which I was told would be a basic one day job, has turned into a 2 month affair.

The office never seemed to connect with the service workers and no one ever told me what was happening from day to day appointments. People would show up and then find out other technicians hadn't been scheduled for pre-work.

Incorrect items were ordered due to improper assessments at start. The office sent people out without telling me who they were or what they were doing.

Several weeks after, I found I was supposed to have to separate inspections. That was never communicated to me once.

Upon both of those inspections it was discovered that the company installed them incorrectly. It has at this point required 3 separate fixes and, therefore, 4 inspections.

Everyone's answer was always to blame it on someone else for not communicating properly. I attempted to address this with upper management, who has refused to return my calls.

I'm really disappointed in this company. Our technician Diego was wonderful.

He had great communication skills, punctual, followed up. The company it's self wouldn't call me, our permits failed not because of Diego, but because dispatch didn't follow through.

I have had to manage this company, not the other way around. It should have been seamless.

They have purchase Bel-red, and the same thing happened, great technicians, but our permit there isn't finished. They failed the permits and a month later I still have to follow up and I'm so annoyed with this whole process.

They need to get their act together. It's a mess! I had new hoses added to two toilets.

The next day one of them began leaking I called Gene Johnson plumbing and was told the soonest they could send someone out would be in 4 days unless I wanted to pay for an emergency visit, in which they could come the next day. I would be very careful doing any work with them. alot of unpermitted work I've used Gene Johnson for years when I lived in Shoreline.

I've moved North to a condo and realized I needed a new hot water tank. Farris came out to give quote.

He also checked under the sinks and noticed I had fittings that can easily fail. He came back a week later and installed the tank and new fittings.

He is professional, friendly and has a dazzling smile. He made sure I had nothing leaking before he left the job.

He also added insulation around the pipes (my tank is in a storage room off my deck). He didn't charge me for this added service.
