Review and analyze now for company 2 Sons Plumbing, Sewer, Electric, Heating & Air and provide the analysis in the discussed format for the following reviews: '''Over the years I have used the services of many handymen, including electricians. Mike K is head and shoulders above the others.
He diagnosed and solved my electrical problem accurately and quickly. An added bonus--- he was kind and friendly.
He even stopped to pet my elderly , very sick cat. I will continue to call on 2 Sons and am grateful to have discovered them.
I will also call on 2 Sons for the other services they offer. The office was also friendly, and efficient and were up front about their costs.
( more than reasonable). I highly and strongly recommend 2 Sons.
Sherry H I had a really bad clog in my main bathroom sink. I was referred to this company by a friend and although I was a little nervous about going with someone I'd never heard of (given some of the negative reviews on Yelp) I struck gold! I requested an appointment through their website and was slightly disappointed when no one responded right away (only because I thought they were 24 hours), but someone called me at 730 the next morning.
I scheduled an appointment for a few days out between 12-4. They called yesterday morning about 10 and said that the technician was in the area and could he come early.
He (Dave) arrived around 1130 and after showed him the problem, he knew exactly how to fix the clog. He gave me some options and explained how I could clear it myself in the future.
I appreciated the information. He was very thorough and had the clog fixed in no time.
The drain flies weren't as bad when he was there, but now that the clog is fixed, they may not be around as much. At least I hope not.
On his way out, I showed him my kitchen faucet. A year ago I had a bad leak under the sink and a friend fixed it for me.
But the hose was damaged and in my laziness, I hadn't bothered to fix it. Dave suggested that I email the manufacturer for a new hose and again gave me some other options.
I was kind of hesitant until he said that he could install a brand new faucet. I expected to schedule a new appointment but he told me that he had a faucet in his truck and could install it right then.
It was almost a thousand dollars for the installation and the repair, but it was so worth it to finally have it done. Plus it looks really nice and works better than my old faucet ever did! Bonus, I got a discount for paying by check.
Dave was super, super nice and really does his job well. I didn't feel like he was trying to get me to spend more money than necessary, because the bathroom clog was an easy fix so I was happy to pay the extra money.
I am very happy with their customer service all around, from the people who called to the technician and I highly recommend them! Once again, 2 Sons Plumbing continues to do a great job! They fixed an annoying leak around the seal of a toilet that was installed by a different company a few years ago. Justin has been to our house two or three times, and he always does the work quickly, cleans up, and explains what caused the problem.
They're my go-to company whenever I have a plumbing issue. I know if I call them, the problem will get fixed at a reasonable price.
Service when you need it the most. I had used 2sons last month on a leak and gave a positive review.
We recently had a very cold blast and one of my pipes broke creating a waterfall from the ceiling light in the finished garage. Dave from 2sons Plumbing arrived and advised the the draywall around the leak would have to be removed to give him access.
He recommend a company the specializes in removing and repairing flood damage. When drywall was removed came back and was able to make the repair.
The really great thing from 2Sons is the level of service and communications they provided. The sent me texts and phone calls advising when Dave was on his way.
All of the staff I interacted with were very pleasant and upbeat. Service seems to be an endangered species these days but I am happy to report that great customer service is alive and well at 2 Sons plumber.
They are expensive, probably more expensive than other similar businesses in this industry. Besides their steep price, they are professional and efficient.
Ben was the technician that arrived at my home to replace my damaged water heater. It took him about four hours to have everything completed to code; the workmanship looks clean and carefully planned out.
I do appreciate how fast it was completed especially considering it was a one man job. I also like the fact that the business is responsive; my tank broke in the early morning and they were able to schedule me an early appointment.
They are a paperless company, all digital invoices. The technician is certainly knowledgeable and provided a good set of advice for water heater maintenance.
If you're looking for rapid installation, responsive staff, and good workmanship these guys can do it. Paid $50 to have a plumber even just come out to do a bid on some plumbing issues.
He didn't spend very long trying to diagnose it and declared the problem as having been fixed when I redid some caulking. Spoiler: it was not, in fact, fixed.
Update: 3 years later, some work connected to the work 2 Sons did had an issue with some leakage. We are impressed that based on the issue we experienced, the company is revamping some of their processes and training to make their work and customer service better.
We don't often experience companies that "do the work" to address not just our issue but to help future customers have a better experience. Impressive.
The guy came in and did nothing but a cut on the wall. Couldn't figure out the issue and wanted more than $230.
I agreed with the guy on paying the 50 for coming and 50 for cutting 2" by 2" square for no reason. Now I have to fix that obviously.
His manager calls him and asks to charge as much as he can while at it, so the guy walked back his discount. Total shit show.
Do not recommend unless you have something you can do by yourself and don't want to get your hands dirty. Avoid, and look for a trusted business, I regret not reading the 1 star comments here.
They were spot on. The technician failed to identify the source of the leak.
He suggested it might be due to a sealing issue in the shower room, rather than a plumbing problem, which also misled us. I then hired a different plumbing and restoration company.
They sent someone for two visits, who found the issue: it was indeed a plumbing problem, specifically the bathtub inlet leaking water when in use. I gave 2 stars because they are nice anesthesia friendly on phone and in-person.
Extremely professional. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy they were to deal with and how transparent they were about their pricing.
I scheduled a service and they had someone come out quickly. The tech was experienced and super friendly.
He went over the work, confirmed it, and took care of it. Also provide additional recommendation, no up selling.
Guy was a star! The call center, texted updates and tech all communicated very well. Definitely recommend.
Won't provide clear hourly pricing or even a ballpark estimate on anything without coming over "to look". Then they want $50 just to drive over and visit.
I'll go with a plumber that can be more straightforward. Toilet leak repair Prompt response, Joey was very courteous and efficient, completed the b including cleanup in a timely way.
Cost seemed reasonable, all things considered. Would use again/recommend! 2 Sons Plumbing's HVAC team did a fantastic job troubleshooting and then installing a new heat pump in our home (late March 2024).
When the old pump failed to deliver heat, we realized it was time for an upgrade. They did a fantastic job and we have a working, efficient heat pump running great.
We'll definitely have them come back for inspections. Special thanks to Stephen for being forthright about the challenges with troubleshooting our original heat pump's issues.
Special thanks to William for all the hard work on installation day. Adam replaced the pressure valve and flushed the cold water kitchen faucet line and my water pressure seems to be working.
Good work. I am pleased.
Thank you. We contacted two sons about some plumbing and HVAC needs that we had and they were very responsive EDIT: More lies and outright gaslighting from the owner right below: "You chose to have us attempt to rebuild the cartridge as it was the most cost efficient solution.
We performed the work exactly as it was described on the estimate, for the exact amount that was quoted." This is a lie. My cartridge was not replaced.
"Your choice at the time of the visit is what has cost you more money. Your choice to save money and have us perform a temporary repair is what has put you in this situation" Yup, my choice at the time was to trust the plumber that you sent and trust his words that "if this doesn't work, we will replace the cartridge later." I wasn't told of any time limit and I wasn't told of any additional charges.
"We were completely transparent and were never dishonest with you. We were and still are willing to work with you, hence why we provided you with an estimate to perform the work necessary AT A DISCOUNTED RATE." Not only you weren't transparent with me, but you did not provide me with any discounted rate.
I think you need to go take some fundamental arithmetic lessons. I ended up paying MORE than the original quote for LESS than the work.
"For you to try and spin it that we are fraudulent and dishonest is completely false" Nope it's totally accurate. You run a fraudulent and a fundamentally dishonest business.
You lied to me and you are lying here. I have receipts.
"If anyone is being that in this situation it would be you as you simply are trying to manipulate us into performing this additional work at no cost to you." I really hope no one is ever in my situation to deal with dishonest people like you who falsely advertise their services and then gaslight others like this. I will repeat - STAY AWAY FROM THESE LIARS.
ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW ----------------------------------------------------- TOTAL FRAUD | STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS I needed to repair a leaky faucet in my bathroom so I called these guys. The first visit was fine - they presented me with a bunch of options. I selected one with cartridge replacement.
During the second visit, the plumber said "hey we might be able to repair this just by tightening the cartridge. No replacement needed!" I figured, sure why not? Let's save the plumber an additional trip.
He told me "if it still leaks, give us a call back. We'll replace it." It sounded good to me.
A few weeks later, my faucet continued to leak. So I called them and asked about it.
This is where everything went wrong. They told me that I would have to pay the same as the original quote for the job.
Their rationale was that I already paid for the original job and was satisfied with it then. And that I shouldn't have trusted the plumber that came to me.
I called in for a specific job and I was "presented with options one of which I ended up choosing." If I knew that the "if it still leaks, we'll replace it" would cost me additional $450, I obviously wouldn't have agreed to it. This is dishonesty and fraud that I've never ever experienced.
The fact that the plumber who visited me left their company might have something to do with it - I won't know. I ended up paying ~$450 to try to fix a leaky faucet that still leaks.
"Tyler" kept telling me "I want to try and work with you". Well, if you wanted to work with me, you wouldn't have defrauded me of $450.
Since it had been a few weeks since my faucet started leaking again, I would have been okay with paying some $$ extra. But he was hostile and rude on the phone saying "I'm not going to refund you at all." Someone told me that "it's impossible to find an honest plumber" and these people are a shining example of that.
I've learned my lesson though. Never give them the benefit of doubt.
Don't try to treat them as humans that you would otherwise treat with trust. Justin was the technician that helped us with the repair at my Moms house.
He communicated what the issue was and got it fixed in a few days since they had to order the part. Service was great and was done promptly.
I would hire them again for sure. I believe the price was reasonable.
The owner of the company, Tyler, reached out personally after the initial two reviews I posted. I was impressed by his willingness to ask, accept, and action on feedback.
I have to say that most other companies probably won't care and won't learn from feedback and try to make things better. It does speak to the owner's character and trustworthiness.
I look forward to working with his team in the future. Yelp removed my review so here's a 2nd try.
The experience with the technician who came out was terrible (and expensive!!) and the followup to "make it right" was also not very good. There's a lot of "not recommended" reviews that seem legit, so I would take a look there before hiring 2 Sons.
(Please don't call me. I am not changing my review.) This business people charge you for the estimation itself.
Seems like their business model is to get as much money from you. We paid $256 to this company for full electric inspection of our house.
This happened just 2 days after we smelled an electric fire again. We called the owner and he kept claiming that it is our issue and not something his company can do anything about.
He asked me to pay the full price again for electric inspection. Please be careful of this company.
They do an incomplete job and then do not even give any guarantee for the job done. On the day of paid inspection, the technician was not even interested in checking the outlets in our house and it was only after our many requests did he make the effort to check all outlets.
I am dissatisfied and disappointed by this company. I hired them only because I saw a good rating on Yelp.
I regret my decision to hire them. We chose 2 Sons over 2 other companies to replace our air conditioner that broke with a heat pump.
The persons providing the assessment (Eric and team) were extremely professional and thorough. After choosing them we had an install in less than 2 weeks.
They arrived to the install on time with great communication. Over the course of the 2 day installation they were great at communicating and again extremely professional.
We are extremely happy with the new heat pump and even signed up for their maintenance program. If their other divisions (septic, plumbing, and electrical) are anything like their heating and cooling , they'll be our "go to" for those services as well.
We had a water leak in our yard and Joe's 2 Sons came out to provide a same day estimate and repair. We had already excavated the area and exposed the pipe, so the repair was pretty straightforward.
Andy did a fantastic job cutting out the section of damaged pipe and repairing with pex. He was prompt, professional and we couldn't be happier with the work or the price.
They also provide a 1 year warranty on parts and labor, which gives us piece of mind. Reached out to get a quote and they refused to get us a quote for absolute no reason.
If this is how you treat new potential customers then thanks for saving us the trouble. -To respond to your comment (2 Sons) You told me whoever is paying the bill needs to be present, I would have been paying the bill and you said you could not help me.
I said ok no problem (did not hang up the phone) You then called back asking about how you could help me and remove my negative review. I proceeded to tell you, that I no longer wished to get your assistance due to your rude response and your help was no longer necessary and we ended the conversation.
You then continued to harass my business by leaving me a negative review because you were unhappy with YOUR businesses customer service. To prospective Small Business Owners seeking a plumber avoid this company.
If they cannot answer a simple phone call and manipulate in the comments what was actually said; they do not appear to be a trustworthy company. They also will harass your business if you don't leave them a 5 star review.
Update: Owner decided to call me and leave a threatening phone call telling me "I better listen here, and that if I want to play with fire continue, and that I have a business too and he'll go after my business" all because I left a negative review on my experience instead of accepting a negative customer experience. And thank you for proving you left a bad review on my business for no reason.
Cheers mate. I would like to give a big shout out to 2 Sons for being a reasonable contractor.
My mom called them for a wild goose chase concerning a new W/D based on faulty information from someone else. 2 Sons confirmed everything was up to code, and only charged an extremely reasonable $50 dispatch fee, which was very inexpensive given how much time he spent there helping her.
Respect. Fast and clean garbage disposal replacement.
Would recommend 2 sons and will call them again in the future Pricey, nice guy, timely, needs to return as installation of kitchen faucet caused back up. Promises to return for no charge after we obtain another one.
continuing saga.... Expensive for faucet install, but always friendly and best quality work.
Have used this company before, and will again. I called 2 Sons to service an old furnance.
Unfortunately, it needed to be replaced. The experts I worked with were kind, knowledgeable, and did a great job making sure I was set up with the best solution for my needs.
They made sure I knew how to maintain my new furnace and even gave some guidance on my water heater. Steven, Brad, Seth, and Debbie were all great to work with and will be the reason I contact 2 Sons in the future.
Second time we've used these guys and they keep improving their service! Kitchen sink backed up on a Sunday, tried everything I knew to do and couldn't unclog it. Called Sun night and left a VM for someone to please call me back on Monday.
Phone rang just after 7:30am and they were able to get someone there between Noon and 4, and said they would call when they were on their way. First, great they could get me in the same day.
Second, only $50 to come take a look at it (less than half of most), and Third, got an email at noon that my tech had been assigned, then got a text that he was on his way and I could click a link to track him, and then they called my wife's cell to let her know they were 20min out. Got there around 1pm, so early in the "range" which was great.
Fourth, were able to find the problem (which wasn't easy by the way), cleared the clog that was well under our house, cleaned up and were off. And my wife said the guy was very friendly, cheerful and communicative.
VERY reasonable price too since it took over two hours to find and clear the clog. Super impressed with the responsiveness, availability, and service.
That's not normal these days! Thanks guys! Unfortunately this business didn't follow the Yelp requirements and wouldn't give pricing and availability via the yelp chat function. The purpose of the Yelp chat is to allow for a recorded place to get quotes and information.
They refused to give a quote over the chat, as Yelp guarantees, and refused to give it in writing when I asked. Their reason for refusing to give information via chat, was that it violated their business policy and they needed it recorded, however, the chat is already recorded.
They shouldn't be allowed to use Yelp's chat function if it goes against their business policy. Even the business owners response to this review, proves that they are unwilling to follow the policies yelp requires, and instead, just don't want to give their quotes in writing.
If they were honest about this reason, I would at least respect their decision. I contacted another five businesses for quotes, and all were more than willing to provide information via chat and were much easier to work with.
I'm not one to normally leave negative reviews as you can see in my review history, but wanted to share this information with other folks considering working with this business. I had 2 Sons come out and install two Daikin mini-split systems in my home just about a year ago.
I have been extremely impressed with the product. It has kept my home very comfortable despite whatever is happening outside (both when the temp dropped to well below freezing back in Jan of '24 as well as the hottest of the summer days).
Their technicians were very professional, communicative and extremely knowledgable. I would recommend their services to anyone looking into the move to mini-splits.
Good service and reasonably priced. They serve seattle / ballard / magnolia area too.
2 Sons Plumbing company was amazing during my traumatic time of trying to find and repair a leak under my house concrete slab. From start to finish, the end to end 2 son plumbing team were great.
Thank you to all the fab office staff who offered super guidance on how to optimally proceed with this situation to the Quote and Justin and his partner who completed the actual plumbing. Great response, solution and execution of work from 2 Sons plumbing.
So, a big thank you team for your advice, and help during this super stressful time! Very professional end to end service, at competitive rates! Plumbers are very hit and miss. This company had outstanding communication with me.
They were quick to respond and communicated at every step of the way so I knew where they were and a more specific time of arrival. Very friendly office team as well.
I will definitely be calling them next time I need a plumber I just had my AC diagnosed and fixed by Radonis. He was extremely professional, polite, knowledgeable, and explained everything thoroughly as to what the issue was.
I was worried that the cost would be high, but it was reasonable especially considering Radonis going above and beyond. I was extremely satisfied and will use them again for any future need and ask for Radonis again.
A smaller problem, but I really appreciate the support and willingness to help me fix a problem instead of just send out a technician and charge whatever. I have a water heater that's less than 2 years old, that a local plumbing company with a similar business name installed.
It went off a few weeks ago, and was told they could come out and see what was wrong but not for a day or two. Parts under warranty but not labor so there would be a charge.
I wanted to have hot water now, not later, so I called around. 2 Sons plumbing guy said they could not get out that evening, but he would try to talk me through relighting the heater with the safety features.
And he did! Now we can fix it ourselves if the pilot light blows out again. I will be calling them in the future, because when a repair company is willing to help you fix a minor problem without a service call or bill - that's gold in my book.
Quick response, the guy was very polite and provided great service, problem solved in 10 minutes. Very professional and efficient.
Solved my problem very well and provided very helpful advice to my furnace. I am extremely dissatisfied with my recent experience with this plumbing company.
When I called to get a quote, the person on the phone displayed a rude and borderline bullying attitude. Instead of focusing on the current issue and discussing the best ways to address it, he seemed more interested in digging up past records from 2 years ago and questioning why I didn't choose their services previously.
The reason I didn't go with them before is clear: their quote wasn't competitive. Customer service should be about resolving issues, not interrogating potential clients about past decisions.
I can not recommend Two Sons more strongly. Due to a series of unfortunate incidents, we had to spend more than $10K replacing electrical panels...then less than a week later the furnace in our house gave up the ghost completely.
And just in time for a Pacific Northwest cold snap. Alec and his team came out immediately and worked with our (remaining) budget to come up with a great solution for both heating and cooling the house.
They juggled their schedule so that the work got done extremely quickly (we have two small kids, temps were in the 30s overnight, so this was super-important). I couldn't be more pleased.
You won't go wrong with Two Sons. Called for an emergency plumber FANTASTIC service from start to end.
Would recommend to anybody who has trust issues with traders this guys are honest. Very good service! Stop by fix our toilet in a timely manner and reasonable estimate We had a main water drain clogging issue.
Had contractor from other company come and find out they have to dig 7 feet to access the pipe to figure out the issue. They did point out where to dig, but refuse to do the work because too many utility lines going through that area.
Later I search on Yelp and 2 Sons responded my request very quickly. From there on, they are very responsive and provide me every detail of the process all the way to the end.
They did a great job. I felt that I can trust them all the time and they take care the issue very carefully.
After they finish the job, they did a great job to clean the area. I can't say about the price because I don't have much knowledge about what the cost should be.
But, after I talk to the technician and I know I can trust them and believe they can take care the problem. Highly recommended!! They were great, had two techs at the house in 30 minutes for a baseboard heater that was overheating after a power outage.
Installed a new thermostat and fixed two outlets that weren't working quickly and efficiently, highly recommend! False advertising of a free quote. If you're going to market "free estimates" all over Yelp and your website but charge a dispatch fee in order to get the "free estimate", that's just shady business practices.
*Update* - I am in their service areas according to his website. He is literally the only person charging for an estimate out of 6 companies.
I woke up to busted water heater and a flooded kitchen. 2 Sons saved the day! I was very happy with their responsiveness, thoroughness in assessing the problem and efficiency with getting it fixed! Adam was amazing and I will definitely call him again with any plumbing issues! Initially I didn't get a good customer service.
But the owner called and explained things and was willing to check thoroughly and give me a bid. It made things right.
? I had 2 jobs done with them (broken pipe, and a broken toilet flush), and both times they delivered quality work. Recommended I requested a plumber to come fix a clogged drain.
They gave me a 4 hr arrival window but never showed up. I called at the end of the 4hr window and they asked if I wanted to reschedule.
Definitely not. You waisted 4 hours of my day waiting around for no one to fix my drain.
I'll be calling a different company. Update: your response makes me feel even better that I'm not using your company.
Also based on your responses to other reviews you might need to seek a therapist as you have narcissistic personality tendencies. Have the day you deserve.
I called for an urgent plumbing service to fix some unknown water leakage, technician Justin was sent to my house right away, after a good amount investigation and checking. He was able to diagnose one pipe was cracked from the back side, and most importantly, he told me he can get it fixed today ! We really appreciate his efforts and hardworking today ! And will definitely recommend him to my neighbors.
I called and scheduled appointment for a leaking dishwasher, the guy came out and said something was going on, however he said be additional 600.00 to pull out dishwasher, he then said don't worry about it, keep using the dishwasher, my husband told him to leave paid his 50.00. Then called SouthWest Plumbing and extremely grateful.
We have a leak that they clearly saw out of the gate (keep in mind he guy form 2 son's plumbing said keep using dishwasher) we would have ruined the subfloor. I would never recommend 2 Sons Plumbing.
I would not recommend this company. There is a level of trust that I expect from tradespeople, I did not get that this company.
The rep seemed more interested in a referral fee to a water restoration company than finding and fixing the leak. Others seemed to have better experiences, mine was horrible! I called 2 Sons for a quote to fix a break in my water main that was giving 100 gal/hr back to mother earth.
Had the leak located by a locater contractor, and wasn't sure if we would now need a full line replacement or a fix (i.e., we weren't sure if it was galvanized or black poly...old house). Either way we needed it fixed fast.
One bid ghosted me, the second was convinced even if it was galvanized that there was no way it could be fixed and only quoted me a very pricey full repair to be done the following week (while mother earth continued to absorb 100 gal/hr). Technician David at 2 Sons came out the same day that I called and gave me options for a fix or a full line replacement, though he suspected that a less expensive fix was likely doable after some excellent crawl space investigating.
We went with that and the next day their dig crew came out at the end of the estimated time window, got the water turned off, dug around the leak, found that is was indeed a fixable black poly line, and technician Andy was able to get it repaired that day. In the end, we saved over $4k from what could have been a very expensive full line replacement.
Both of the 2 Sons techs were great to work with and very professional, and their dig crew was kind and courteous. We know that we'll need to eventually replace the full line, but 2 Sons helped us push that back a little with a solid repair (our city confirmed that the fix continues to hold).
Mother Earth doesn't need our help in recharging the aquifer anyway. Recommended! We had a small leak which I initially thought was a gasket between the garbage disposal unit and the drain.
Carey came to give us an estimate and possibly repair/replace unit. At a first glance he thought the same as me (gasket) so he went back to his truck to find a couple of estimates.
A couple of minutes later he came back in and said he remembered something he could try and look at. He had a closer look and re-tightened the garbage disposal unit with some pliers.
Apparently, that's what it was! The unit had shaken loose and needed only to be retightened. Total cost of the repair? Nothing, nada, zero, zilch since we are a return customer.
We figured it would be a few hundred to fix or about 100ish to fix (if it was fixable). Nothing, that last thing on our mind.
Anyhow, glad we went with these guys, thank you! :) The gentleman who assisted us in fixing two toilets (10+ years old) & one sink plug & the shower/bath faucet was very friendly, helpful, assessed and completed the tasks at hand efficiently. Joe's 2 Sons Plumbing was responsive, quick to accommodate, and did a fine job.
Thank you! I thought customer service was something that disappeared a few years ago, but this company shines in customer service and the kind professionalism of their employees. They fixed my plumbing problem and cleaned up after they were done.
I will use them again for anything else that comes up. Thank you Amber 2 Sons Plumbing was the fastest and easiest plumbing company to schedule with.
They showed up within the window of time that was promised and the plumber was very friendly throughout the service. They did not charge us anything upfront just to come out to the house and provided us with a quote onsite after assessing our issue.
I decided to move forward and the plumber resolved the issue quickly and easily and gave some good suggestions for preventative maintenance. They charge 3% for credit cards or debit cards so prefer checks.
Overall very pleased. Came out quickly.
Did the work well. Very nice.
Great experience. Also like they can do sewer, hvac and much more They showed up early and we're easy to explain the situation to.
They got right to work and completed it inside an hour. Very professional.
Will definitely call again. Good company have had service done at my house before and they did an amazing job installing out sump pump line 4 years ago.
I called them today to come see if they could unclog my bathtub and they snaked it out in less than 5 min but charged $400 to snake a bathtub drain but I needed my drain unclogged so I swallowed a pill and paid. They are good and nice people, but charge a little too high for something that didn't take 5 minutes with an electric snake.
I would understand for more serious clogs to charge $400 but for a bathtub drain it's a bit excessive.. You guys are not flexible! Very bad behavior especially at the beginning of setting up first meeting.
But good to know! I would like learn about this inflexibility during started process. I would leave more stars if I could.
Called on a Saturday and intake was kind and prompt. Confirmed that there was an additional fee for someone to come out on weekend.
Plumber arrived quickly with plenty of notice as to expected timing ... and he, Steven, was great.
Our house is chaotic (kids and pets). He was friendly, easy going, and fair.
He ultimately had to remove the toilet, because it turned out that one of our kids had tried to flush a plastic bottle of Poo Pourri ... and still, the entire cost, including the weekend fee, was less than what we had previously been quoted by another company as the minimum fee to come out no matter the issue.
Hopefully we won't need a plumber again anytime soon but if we do, I will definitely be calling this company. So happy with the entire experience!!!! Great, efficient service.
I called on a Sunday for an emergency sewer blockage and got scheduled the next day. Other companies told me they had availability 2-3 days later.
Tyler and Emilio came to help. They are awesome and polite.
Tyler gave clear explanations and made sure to describe expectations, warnings, and potential results. In the end, they managed to fix the issue properly.
The price was fair. Second review for these guys.
Justin hooked me up with repairs and then quoting on hose bib replacements. Appreciate the transparency, education and quick clean work! I was able to get a same day diagnostic appointment and repair! During the freeze my condensation drip hose froze and caused a whole bunch of issues.
I was worried our entire system was broke. However, Josh was excellent and fixed my issue very quickly.
Super professional. I liked that I was able to get someone to my house on the same day of requesting an appointment, and even better they actually solved my problem.
Professional and kind. I'm still impressed with their prompt, polite and honest service and will continue to use them in a future.
This is the second time that I used 2 Sons Plumbing for the water issue that I as an out of state landlord had at my rental property in Seattle. I called them on Sunday night about an water leaking issue that my tenant reported and was able to get Tony to come out to take a look and address the issue the following day in the afternoon.
They were prompt and communicative all the way from scheduling, following up before appointment and providing me a summary of what happened and what was done to address the issue. What I liked about them was how polite, friendly, honest and reasonable they were.
I also liked that they were very organized. Given that this time was the second time I contacted them about an issue that I had with my property, they already had all my records from previous contact and was able to cut the time taking similar information from me again.
Tony a technician they sent out was on time and very friendly. He was able to address an issue quickly and provided me with a prompt update.
Very reasonable, too. I would definitely recommend and use Joe's 2 Sons Plumbing again.
Extremely professional. Very happy with their services.
The technician was on time, polite and solved the problem with no issues. Highly recommend this company.
Backed up sewer line charged over 400.00 for 20 min. Or less.
I think they took advantage of the situation. I have always had problems with roots in my mail line.
And have always paid less than 200.00. Only plus about this company is they do show up.
This business replied promptly to my SOS for a furnace repair and scheduled an appointment for the following morning. I'd contacted several businesses and only received 2 replies.
January is a busy time for folks in the HVAC business! The other business was able to get out to inspect the furnace the same day so I went with them. 2 Sons was very professional in my limited dealings with them.
Based on that experience and their prior excellent reviews I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again. Too expensive cleaning for Air conditioners.
Use only water and wash Air conditioner filter and outside mini split conditioner. I could do by self We were dealing with a complicated clogged shower drain (hair blocking "mushroom" slipped down the pipe), and J2S responded quickly and affordably.
A failed attempt by a different company with a regular auger had made the situation dicier, but Alex cleared it quickly with an air snake. After he completed his checks on it and departed, I ran the water for an additional 30+ minutes without issue! So grateful and would hire again in a heartbeat.
Not great if you value integrity and timely service. Rather than be up front that 2 Sons was not able to replace my leaking water heater on a Sunday, the dispatcher instead seems to have said what he thought he needed to in order to get 2 Sons the work.
Provided photos as requested to document the type and size of water heater to be replaced. Came down to 2 Sons and another plumber - both said they could replace that day.
2 Sons said on the off chance they couldn't complete on Sunday, they would return 1st thing Monday AM. 2 Sons sent a technician on Sunday who they knew was not going to be able to do the replacement (as he lacked the requisite experience to replace the particular type of water heater that I have - direct vent).
The dispatcher knew the type of water heater from the photos and had given a preliminary price quote on that basis. Had the dispatcher informed me he was sending someone who could not do the work ahead of time, I would not have agreed and gone elsewhere.
Then, the dispatcher did not want to send a technician 1st thing Monday AM as he had promised. (The old water heater was continuing to leak.) When the 2nd technician arrived on Monday, he advised that 2 Sons doesn't replace the type of water heater that I have on weekends, which reinforced that the dispatcher had not been honest.
And, 2 Sons said the size of my water heater was no longer made, so I would need to get the next larger size. I later learned that this was not correct - the very brand 2 Sons installed does offer the same size I had.
There was no need to get a larger size. I appreciate that Joe's came out to do an estimate to install my hot water dispenser and gave me a free estimate.
The problem is, for a simple job that I've seen done twice before in under an hour and requires no parts (I already bought the replacement tank) or special tools, they wanted $512. According to the estimator, they don't have a checkbox for the job and I expect he picked one that sounded right but took five hours.
Why not do it myself? Well, I'm a disabled vet and over 75. So if I do have to install the replacement heater (my wife doesn't want me to), I can spend the savings on doctor's bills.
;) Recently had them out to fix two toilets at our house. They came and inspected the toilets for 15 minutes and then presented a quote for $638.
It seemed high but I reluctantly agreed thinking the work required must be extensive. Less than 25 minutes later the job was complete.
I spoke to the company indicating that over $500/hour for a plumber must be a mistake (that even allowed for 30 minutes paid travel time) and they said no that that is the going rate. I feel like they are playing on ignorance and gouging.
The going rate for plumbers is not over $500/hour. Beware if you use them.
get a quote and get a quote from others before you let them do any work. Update Tyler is lying below.
I never asked for money in return for not leaving a bad review. I contacted them because I felt there was a mistake in what they charged and hoped to fix it.
I never mentioned a review until after we concluded that they felt the charge was correct and fair. At that point I informed him that I would never do business with them and share with others my bad experience.
I resent his lying. 2 Sons was great to work with.
They were quick to respond and was able to get out to our house to fix the problem in one day. We read such good reviews about this place, so called to set up an appointment.
This was 2 weeks ago, and they said they are booked, so called back again and they are still saying the same thing and didn't want to schedule us in, even in the future. We're thinking they think fixing a valve leak is a small thing.
It's their prerogative to service anyone they want, but that is not good business or good service, contrary to what the reviews are saying! Adam was very prompt and discovered the problem was an easy fix. The garbage disposal just needed the reset button pushed.
I was never able to find it. There was no charge and the immediate response was greatly appreciated.
I will definitely continue to use this company in the future. I called them to give me a quote to fix in the leaking pipe under the sink - it was due to eroding over time so need replacement with all plastic one .
They give me a quote of about 800$. Kidding me ? Material wise it is about 50$.
And it will be just 1 hour job . When I asked why so expensive the staff mentioned about bond / legality side things.
Well i guess every licensed professional has that. Thanks but no thanks.
If you want to pay overprice work, talk to this people. I just payed over $2000 for 1 1/2 hour of work.
Replaced a 3 feet pipe and put a new valve there. The technician quote 5 hours of work but it wasn't.
I called the company and they said that I should be happy with the short amount of work. Please go somewhere else!'''.
