(2020 prices) Asked Prima to come out and check the tankless water heater they installed at my business that was making a ton of noise during operation. It was less than 6 months old and still under warranty.

They checked it, said it was working fine, and then gave me a bill for $300!?? Fixing nothing. I called to see if the bill could be reduced because the water heater and, I assumed, the work would still be under warranty.

I called with the right mindset of groveling and respect because I hoped they would work with me. Nope.

No can do. The lady that answered gave me all kinds of attitude and told me the "..the bill is what it is" for services rendered "..from professionals." No budging on her part and served up with a heaping dose of disdain for even inquiring for a price reduction.

Now, 6 months later, with the problem still persisting, I have been instructed by 3 separate plumbers to replace the water heater because the one Prima installed is not at a capacity for this business and is known to be a residential unit. Nor does the one Prima installed have the ability to be de-scaled or to be put on a pro-active maintenance schedule.

Prima's "professionals" get low marks here for: 1) Not adequately assessing the water needs of this business. 2) Not knowing the difference between a residential and commercial water heater.

3) Not informing the previous owner of a more suitable water heater. 4) Unprofessional and unfeeling customer service rep.

I understand the value of someone's time but there was no actual work done on this service call. So much about my negative experience with Prima could have been mitigated by a simple and reasonable reduction of the fee of that "service call" given the short amount of time we had that original water heater, their inability to adequately assess the problem and the absence of actual work done to fix the problem.

Looking over the other negative reviews I see there's a thread developing about their phone person and her apparent lack of customer service skills. Maybe something Prima should address? PRIMA IS PRIMO! Honestly, we have used Prima over the years for several things and have always been 100% satisfied.

I actually look forward to the guys coming because they are so nice and professional and helpful. They did a hard plumbing job to add a two-in-one washer dryer to our top floor and it's fantastic.

Two other folks did not know what to do. They have done two sump pumps for us in our rental with equal care and speed.

We call them for sink and tub issues and know they will fix things perfectly. It's such a relief to know who to call that I don't really worry when something breaks.

We recently became aware of the new GE washer and dryer combo units and purchased it to incorporate it into the new area. Since we have had West Sound Plumbing here for minor repairs the past two years, we had Austin come over, review what we needed and fit us into their schedule the following week.

Tom arrived on time and roughed in the new drain standpipe, water shutoffs and tapped into the existing plumbing. He had to remove several pieces of Sheetrock to access the work area and the way he removed it, made it very easy for me to repair the wall.

While he was under the house, he noted that we had standing water from a leak in the new shower pan. He took several pictures so that I could contact the manufacture for advice on possible repair.

TileRedi requested we have the leak videoed so that their engineers could assess the necessary repair. The following week Tom and his son returned to help me install the new washer-dryer combo unit.

Because the machine is 325 lbs., it took all three of us to remove it from its lower crate and install it. He tested it and made sure it was properly operating and draining.

Tom and his son returned to the crawl space to video and assess the leak. He found that the drain pipe was not properly installed by the contractor that did the original work.

He removed it, cleaned it and properly repaired the fitting. He will be returning next week to make sure the leak is permanently fixed.

I can't say enough about how professional this company is but Tom and his son are the two finest plumbers we have had working on our home. We've had three other contractors over the years and none of them were anywhere as professional as the plumbers from West Sound Plumbing.

Where to begin? We moved to Poulsbo in 2021 from a Phoenix, which is a huge Metropolitan area. I wasn't sure what kind of help we would get in small town Poulsbo.

Well, we have used West Sound plumbing multiple times and have always had an amazing experience. They are way better than any plumber we used in Phoenix.

Today, Forrest was the plumber who helped us with a really stubborn clogged toilet AND drain. He was so, SO helpful.

Dawn in the office is great and working with warranty companies and getting things done! We had trouble with our recently drained septic tank in September. The rain in the last 5 days was heavy and ground saturated.

And our septic tank filled back up with water and came out showers and toilets. For four days we argued with our warranty company to get a plumber out here.

No joy. We paid to get septic tank emptied.

Finally they assigned us to West Sound as it looked like the pipes from house to septic had some clogs in them. They came out within the window of as promised.

We isolated the leak and called West Side Plumbing. Austin and the team were in full emergency mode.

They were getting seven calls an hour. Pipes were freezing and breaking everywhere.

The snow was six inches deep; the temperature outside was 22 degrees; the roads were treacherous; and the trucks at West Sound Plumbing were not equipped to drive the icy hills of Poulsbo and their greater service area. NO PROBLEM.

The guys at West Sound Plumbing jumped into their personal all-wheel-drive vehicles and started making emergency runs to their valued customers. They arrived this morning and had my leaking pipe fixed in a jiffy.

Who does this kind of stuff anymore??? CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!! Had noise in our pipes in the mornings, they said they would send "our best guy". This person shows up, doesn't look at the water heater or check the pressure, walks around jiggling toilet handles, ends up saying "I dunno what it is" and then charges us over $500/hour for nothing.

Called a friend who is a contractor (not even a plumber), he came out, immedicately noted the pressure tank on the water heater was out of date and that there was silt in the tank, replaced the pressure tank and flushed out the water heater, problem solved, and for less than Mr I dunno charged to do nothing. I contacted West Sound to get a bid for total repiping of my property along with installation of a new water main line.

Jessica was very helpful and prompt in replying and scheduling an estimate. Austin came out to my home at the appointed time and did a thorough review.

The quote Austin provided was competitive, and I got a strong sense that West Sound would be providing professional and competent service. In this case, I ended up doing with a different plumber because of scheduling (the other company's bid was around the same cost but they could fit me in around some travel time).

I would not hesitate to call West Sound again in the future if I needed a big or small plumbing job done. The faucet in our kitchen sink broke and started leaking badly.

The folks at West Sound Plumbing were out quickly to look at it, and Josh was back quickly to replace it once they had the replacement faucet, getting it done around my schedule. Really pleased! Not long after they fixed out faucet, we called West Sound because our disposal stopped working.

Long story short: please triple check with the associates who run the office that your work can get done on a time frame that you can live with. They have multiple associates at their location with with no knowledge of plumbing that can not communicate properly about plumbing jobs and how to complete the job in a timely manner.

I had an evaluation of a leaking wall and broken temperature knob in April to work with my property management company to make the appropriate steps to fix my bathroom. The next time I heard from the plumbing company I was told they were going to come fix my bathroom within the hour on September 25.

This is months longer then an appropriate wait time. I was willing to change my day to get the repairs done.

Within the hour I was called told they can not do the repairs today and that my day can go back to how it was thank you. Our kitchen sink faucet needed to be replaced..

I had put a lot of thought into the toilet choice, but learned upon arrival that most places wanted a huge lot of money, almost the cost of the toilet itself, to do the install. I learned this was because we had chosen a one-piece design, and so it was heavier and thus more difficult to move and to install.

After searching for a solution and weighing the option of doing it myself, I got a callback from West Sound with an offer at about half of what the other places wanted, and so I decided to use them instead. One thing that surprised me was the speed.

When I got a call back (after approving of their pricing), they were ready to come out within 30 minutes! I didn't realize they would be that fast, and couldn't account for that as I had existing plans, but still, nice to know they can be very prompt. Asked them to come out the next day instead, and so a young fella came out the next day, was courteous and professional, and installed the new toilet without much fuss.

Also hauled the old toilet away for a fair rate. I have no complaints, everything worked out well.

Life saver! Noticed there were water stains on the baseboard on the shower stall wall and moisture on the tiled floors. It was weird because this is a recent Bathroom Remodel done a year ago.

A long piece of drain snake broke off in side the drain line and was catching all the debris from the toilets in my house and blocking the drain line from draining all into the septic tank.

The drain. Line had to be snaked every week to keep it clear but would plug up constantly.

After dealing with it for 6 months and resigning myself to having to jack hammer the slab, ( to reach the pipeline containing the broken snake)I called West sound plumbing and Austin came out to see if he could help. He was positive and encouraging and worked hard at trying to hook the broken snake and pull it out of the clean out which he eventually was able to do after working well over 1 1/2 hr at it.

His persistence was so appreciated and I would highly recommend his company . My freeze proof hose bib (out door faucet) froze due to a hose being connected to it and the lack of a bib cover (there were none available in town at the time) of course.

It was an emergency situation in which we were unable to use any water in our house. They were out to our house on Bainbridge less than two hours after we called them, and fixed what we thought was an unfixable situation.

Cannot recommend these guys highly enough!!!! Life savers! West Sound Plumbing was selected by our home warranty company when we called needing a drain snaked out. The tech they sent (Steven) refused to snake out the drain, insisting that the drain pipes were "sagging" and that the pipes (under the house and extending into VERY inaccessible locations) needed to be replaced instead.

At our insistence, the home warranty company sent another plumber (Mitchell Plumbing). He snaked the drain, which of course fixed the problem, and said it was by far and away his easiest job of the day.

Not sure how West Sound comes to have these glowing reviews, but I wouldn't use them even if *they* paid *me.* We moved into a house that had been empty for quite some time. The inspection report flagged several worrisome things, so we were anxious to have an expert come over and look.

Dawn was incredibly helpful, and scheduled something for the same week. Steven called ahead of time to give me an ETA, then showed up exactly on time.

His analysis of the house was thorough, and came with a lot of explanation, which is something I needed. The work was done expertly at a very fair price.

West Sound will always be the folks we call when we need help. Ramon was thorough and completed the job in a timely fashion.

He cleaned up after himself. We were very pleased.

Let me start by saying that i have a background in construction and sub contracting, and have very high standards for craftsmanship in this area. Additionally, i own two rental homes and deal with plumbers regularly.

I had an absolutely awesome experience with west sound plumbing. Fast response for a quote via austin which was accurate.

I supplied a water meter that was missing parts. Instead of half assing the install, Cody and Aerol left and found the correct parts, still completing the job in the quoted time.

It was clear that they would not be willing to be a part of poor craftsmanship or shortcuts. Their scheduling via Dawn was superb and met my very specific schedule.

Throughout the install they answered all my questions and were especially polite and professional. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality job.

Their price was fair but not cheap. Well worth it for the quality! Cody and Aerol were hands down the best plumbers i have have ever worked with.

This company has its act together. The tech entered our home wearing a mask and was exceptionally courteous, professional and accommodating.

He installed all 3 new toilets in less than 3 hours and his work done well and cleanly. He took special care to ensure that there were no leaks and that all toilets functioned properly.

I will use this company anytime in the future when plumbing work is required. These guys are clearly the best!!! We have been dealing with West Sound Plumbing though American Home Shield since August.

Our hot water heater was having issues with staying ignited, you could press reset and have hot water as long as you were using it. They had been out 4 times, replaced many different parts and still could not fix our radiant hot water heater (this supplies heat and hot water to our house).

The last time they came out to "fix" the water heater they "fried" the computer board and left us with no heat and hot water for over a week and told us that the water heater needed more repairs and parts that totaled around $500. We had a different company come out, they were able to get our hot water heater working perfectly in just over one hour.

The computer board was in fact not fried, the flame rod that West Sound stated needed replace suddenly worked perfectly. No new parts were needed! The new technician stated the zone relay switch was never plugged in, the water valves were shut off, and we needed to flip a breaker switch.

The only reason that I gave West Sound Plumbing two stars is because the technician, Jerry, was always very nice. This company has the best.

I had West sound plumbing go out and investigate a leak reported at my rental. They were courteous and efficient in getting out there.

They diagnosed worn gaskets between pieces on my three-year-old toilet purchased at a box store. (Toilet was top rated when purchased) Because they didn't stock these in the plumber's truck, I paid for him to stay on the clock as he drove out and purchased them.

It then became an expensive repair. I would never use West Sound Plumbing again.

They did shoddy bathtub installation work for us. The tub was not installed on the ledger board, not installed level and squeaked as we stood in it.

When we called them on it, they blamed the tub and charged us to remove it and install another tub. They also did not read the written instructions they had in hand (I gave it to them) to install a tub faucet valve correctly.

The instructions described how to reverse the valve stem to reverse the hot and cold water inputs (what they do to accommodate back to back tub installations). Instead they cut a hole in our garage ceiling to reverse the pipes and even left us the 30"x20" hole to patch.

They also charged us for this mistake on their part. All they had to do was READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.

Avoid them or watch them like a hawk as they like to blame others for their mistakes. Called, West sound plumbing for my mother while I was out of town, They took advantage of my mother by over charging and using a second plumber for a one man job having the nerve of charging my mom extra.

Called 2 other plumbing companies after I got home and ask for estimates and I was quoted 25% less and was told its a one man job. Without a doubt, our service provided by west sound was.outstanding.

I've used another well known plumbing service for years ... but west sound plumbing surpassed R on all counts.

Totally understand they are running a business but it's nice to work with folks who focus on doing quality work as opposed to getting dem dollas. I was able to get an appt quickly and I appreciated that.

I asked what the charge would be and I was told that I would find out the day of. The plumber, very polite, opened the ceiling and found the leak.

Could he fix it that day? No. The charge: $259 To come back and finish the work (which he stated would take no more than 2 hours) would be an additional $880.

I asked why so much? I was told there are flat rates (which of course they don't tell you about over the phone). The phone number on the techs card wasn't correct either.

Too expensive and not upfront about charges. They could have given me an estimate.

I felt taken advantage of. Decided to go elsewhere.

This worked just the way it was supposed to. A very service-oriented plumber came by on time to give us an estimate and so we said, "just do it!" and now it's done.

At first I had a bad experience which seems to have been due to a new guy that made a series of mistakes, but Andrew (one of the co-owners) at Allied Plumbing made things right. Best part was that he was very professional about the whole thing and took responsibility to resolve the problem immediately (after 5:00 PM on Friday) didn't charge me anything to get my 2 hot water heaters working again.

Stuff happens but it's how you deal with it when things go wrong that matters the most. So many businesses these days just blame the customer and do nothing to make things right, so standing behind your company is worth 4 stars to me.

I don't know where to start with this review in all honesty. They displayed some of the most unprofessional behavior I've ever experienced.

The man who came out to assess the issue made me feel extremely uncomfortable. He is not someone I want back in my home.

I don't appreciate being a female alone in my house with an angry man who's a stranger. Upon arrival he was very agitated, angry, and rude.

Things went downhill from there, as I had to interact with him more. The issue that he needed to fix is some shelving had been put in the garage incorrectly.

We have been meaning to remove it but haven't yet. Well it turns out that the person who put in the shelving had put a nail throw a pipe and it'd finally rusted.

The house I live in is a rental. My landlord had told me he wanted the plumber to contact him directly before any repairs.

The plumber said he needed to call his company and asked me to call my landlord. Instead I called my husband as he had spoken with the plumber and the landlord about this issue.

As, originally, he was going to be home for the plumber but then couldn't. My husband had confirmed the landlord had told the plumber to directly call him.

I told the plumber this. He yelled at me that he "already had and can't wait around all day." Which is ridiculous because I had heard him on the phone with the company or someone beforehand so he could've only called maybe a minute prior.

I know time is money but there is a professional way to handle things: 1. Don't raise your voice 2.

There are a million more professional ways to word that. He then in an accusatory way asked "if I had put up the shelving".

His tone implying you idiot why'd you do this. We did not put in the shelving and nor did my landlord.

My landlord then called the plumber. The plumber spoke to him in an aggressive, rude, belittling way.

Almost as how a fed-up parent who isn't great at parenting would talk to a child. I could hear my landlords voice and it sounded calm the whole time.

The plumber also accused my landlord of the nail in the same disrespectful manner. Which I don't really understand why he cares, maybe it makes him happy to shame other people for mistakes? Who knows? Again, it is fine to address the issue but be professional about it.

Anyway, the plumber and my landlord are on the phone. I can hear my landlord saying he is going to go with someone else for the job.

The plumber raises his voice saying "gooood luuuuuck finding anyone else." Which I don't really get because there are a million plumbers out there but okay? He then turns to me and all he says is "okay" angrily. Then he stormed off and sat in his van in my driveway for 10 minutes before leaving.

I made an appointment for this company to come out and fix our toilet two days ago. They said they would be here between 10 and 2.

3:00 came and no one had shown up or called. I called them and they said that the appointment had been made and canceled the same day.

I never canceled it. Someone screwed up on their end.

There was no apology and they didn't seem to care that we had spent the better part of the day waiting for them. Lousy attitude and very poor customer service.

Don't recommend them at all. It's my first yelp review.

I'm usually a lazy person and don't give critical review. But the work Zesbro plumbing did for me is totally a mess, it's even not up to code.

Besides, ZesBro was acquired by Ally plumbing, the owner has changed. They take the brand and phone number ,but they are not responsible for previous jobs ZesBro did.

So be careful! Here's my experience: Zesbro plumbing did a job for me on 2017.1 (I kept the invoice). Recently I replaced a new water heater and inspector pointed out the work ZesBro plumbing did wasn't aligned with the code.

I called ZesBro and asked for help, the customer service told me the owner closed business and transferred brand/phone number. They're not responsible for my case.

I even have to find a new plumber to fix the mess. Holy Hannah! This company is the epitome of family owned and operated; professional, honest and awesome.

Chriss came out to look at our 50s house plumbing problem. We had water backing up in our kitchen and laundry area.

We had high hopes a simple snake job would work. He tried three different outlets, no dice.

Then we moved on to the jet water snake. More water back up! Oh no! So to the crawl space (literally) Chriss went! And he came back with bad news.

We needed to have the pipes replaced as they were smaller diameter than needed and there was a large clog, too. He called two coworkers (and close friends because everyone in this company, if they aren't blood, they are still family), Caleb and Kena, and the two of them dropped what they were doing after hours and came to help.

So while it was the worst possible outcome, it was the best experience with a plumbing company. If I could give 10 stars I would! I had a leaky sink that tightening didn't seem to fix.

I called on Monday, and they were able to send someone out on Wednesday 11/22, the day before Thanksgiving. Chris arrived right on time and quickly got to work.

He was friendly and professional. After taking a look at the sink, he said he thinks that tightening the very top nut (that I didn't even see) would be enough to fix the leak.

He did so in 5 minutes, ran water for a couple of minutes to verify the leak was fixed, and then was done! Since the job was simple, he didn't even charge me. My experience was great, and I'll be sure to use ZesBro again if I ever have another plumbing issue.

Called them on a Monday, they said they could get someone here at my house, for a completely blocked kitchen sink, on about Saturday! Saturday, really? Did you hear the part about a COMPLETELY backed up "Kitchen" sink, where I try to make food, etc. So, needless to say, I called someone else, who came out in an hour...

It's all good now. Just sharing my own personal experience.

Good luck to you all. I forgot to write an update! I used Zesbro again in Aug 2015 to replace my water heater in my condo.

Unfortunately I got the call over the weekend and finding someone to come out in a reasonable amount of time to address it was really hard! I contacted a few companies and didn't get very many responses. Zesbro was there to save the day again! Installed the new water heater with drip pan and earthquake strap, removed the old water heater and cleaned up everything.

They are awesome! Thanks again Zesbro! I'll definitely come back when I need your services again! Monday before thanksgiving, and we have a leak near our water main. Of course.

The plumber we usually call was booked up. I called ZesBro at 9am.

They had Petroso (sp?) the plumber here by 10:30 on-the-dot. He assessed the situation efficiently, kept me informed throughout the process, cleaned up after himself, and was super nice through the whole thing.

I would definitely use ZesBro again based on this experience. Seriously this Man has a special place in Heaven.

Jimmy answered the phone on the 2nd ring at 8:30pm at night. He siad he would be here in 40 min but was here in 20.

My Husband was gone and I just happened to check our furnace room and found the water tank was leaking. He said it was a good thing I opened that door b/c the whole thing was close to blowing and being a real hazard.

DO NOT HIRE! They don't train their receptionists for the business to relay the details of a plumbing situation and they don't have the plumber contact you way ahead of time get the details and to let you know if they need access to units additionally affected by a leak so that things can be arranged. They tell you this when they show up, then if things aren't the way they need they can't do their work, and then they don't try to accomodate the customer for their mistake by paying a guy OT or the owner working on a Sunday.

Horrible Customer Service!!! Very inconveniencing when booked a week ahead and other teams and people are affected to do their work!!! Horrible service and attitude! The guy came in unprepared, with no parts in his truck. Taking advantage of my own parts in my house and installed the valve, but did not tell me that doesn't have any warranty.

Didn't fix the problem, leaving the water ice line disconnected, so nothing works at the end. He kept saying he will come back tomorrow to repair the water line but will charge more.

Extremely high pricing on terrible service. Would never recommend them to anyone, and never use them again.

I will DEFINENTLY be using ZesBro plumbing the next time i have an issue in my house. Everyone I talked to was friendly and helpful and wanted to get my situation taken care of as quickly as possible.

We had a couple of scheduling snafus but Jeff got me squared away on the phone and it was really nothing too out of the normal for any plumber you may hire (the -1 star is ONLY for having to check in towards the end of my time frame i was given to make sure my plumber was still going to make it, which he did but about 30 minutes past the window i was specified. Not that big of a deal in my eyes).

You are set up with a time frame that they can make it out during and will call when they're on their way. My time frame for example was 4pm to 8pm.

This means you could be waiting for a few hours for them to arrive depending on how big the previous job was or they could show up 30 minutes in and be done before your slotted time frame is even up. That's with most plumbers though so please keep this in mind when hiring a plumber in general (I've hired 3 or 4 various plumbers as my house was built in 1908 and has needed plenty of love and attention).

If you need a quick fix for a great price that comes with friendly customer service please call them. Thanks again guys! I didn't end up going with ZesBro Plumbing because I could get another company out a few hours earlier, but they were very responsive to my request for help, and reworked their schedule so they could get someone to me the next day.

They are truly open 24/7 and will call you back immediately even at 8 am on a Sunday. We had them re-install a toilet after we got new floors and put in a new sink.

Both ended up having issues one due to the old parts and the other and older line. When the leaks showed up hours after they left I called them and they had the general manager calling me at 9 pm to apologize.

They were back at 8 am the next morning and all was fixed with no charge. They would have come back that night but the leak stopped once I shut off the water so it could wait.

ZesBro's prices are not unlike many other quality plumbers out there, but in an emergency, I was provided with effective, quick, and courteous service. I was woken up around 1 am by the piercing sound of a water sensor that was placed next to my water heater.

After stumbling around in a half conscious state for a couple minutes to find the source of the sound (and on the verge of taking a bat to my fire alarm) I discovered that my water heater was leaking. It took me several minutes to determine the actual source of the leak - the expansion tank that sits above the water heater itself.

I shut off the water supply, then decided to get a couple hours sleep after confirming the leak stopped. Later that morning, I found ZesBro on Yelp after seeing it had 100+ reviews and a 4.5 star rating, and felt confident that I would get good service.

James picked up immediately, and was pretty much able to confirm my suspicions just from the brief description I gave him. James stopped off quickly on the way to another job close he had close by, hence my opinion about ZesBro's quick service.

He only brought the replacement part, a tool bag and his plumbing knowledge, so he seemed confident that his diagnosis was correct. 15 minutes later at my condo, he replaced the part, inspected the rest of my water heater, and did it all with a great demeanor.

At the close of the service, he said "Look, so I don't have to go down and come back up, just give me your email and I'll send you the bill." Very nonchalant! The total transaction with ZesBro, from the initial call, to the service, and finally the call to pay for the invoice, took a total of 25 minutes. There are no more leaks from my water heater and associated parts, so James can chalk this up to a mission-accomplished.

Travis called when he was on his way, quickly fixed several small plumbing issues I had, and went to get a part for my job and came back an hour later. I will definitely call and ask for Travis next time I have a plumbing need.

Wow. What a difference a few months makes.

I thought I had my plumber for life, but I guess I'll be looking for another. I called James couple of months ago to install a PRV and kitchen faucet.

He scheduled it on a Thu morning. He didn't show.

Ok, no problem. We reschedule for the week afterwards, and no show again! But he called back and said he'll come later in the evening.

James shows up with his worker and I show them what to install. Then James says he has to get something from his house, a part of something.

Before I can ask him about the price, he takes off. Ok, no biggie right? He is going to charge me his standard hourly rate.

After his worker finished in about an hour, his worker gave me the invoice. the labor cost is $325! WOW.

Not only he no showed twice(I had to take off of work to meet him), he didn't tell me how much it costs before he left and charged way over his hourly rate! I paid the bill but felt disgusted. Its safe to say we won't be calling Zesbro anymore unless it's to fix their work.

Called Zes Bro plumbing around 5PM as a referral from a friend for some issues I was having issues with the water system in my business, and he was busy on another job but came as soon as he could, which ended up being 8PM on a Sunday night. If you've ever called for a contractor, having someone show up when they tell you they are is a miracle.

I've once waited a full 8 hours for someone, but that's another review. Later, I found out he drove 45 minutes out of his way for me, and they're normally closed Sundays.

+ 5 stars! A friend of mine from jr.high is also a plummer, and he told me I had to wait TWO WEEKS, since it wasn't an "emergency". No bueno.

Here's the deal: Jimmy Z. is actually motivated to work efficiently, quickly get the job done, and was on time.

(Being on time is a quality that I appreciate.) He came under his estimate by $50 and gave me some options on efficiency, and to overall save money on my water bill - and I've noticed a difference. I have now used this company a total of 3 times for both my home and business, and have recommended them to my condo homeowner's association as the preferred plummer.

I bought replacement toilets from Amazon (Toto Drake II's - the best toilets on the market and saved me 40% in water usage in one month!). I was tempted to use the Amazon installation, but they wouldn't let me buy more than 3 (I had 4 builder-grade toilets replaced), so I was forced to look elsewhere.

Our house was new and I was concerned that it would look like we swapped them out. James isn't the best communicator on email, but he sure knows customer service and plumbing.

Since I needed 4 toilets swapped, he brought in a helper. The two guys unboxed, staged and then replaced all 4 toilets in less than 3 hours.

They wore booties or took off their shoes. Cleaned up all the boxes and took everything to recycling/dump for just a little extra.

The installer spent a good deal of time cleaning and prepping each installation and even removed the promotional stickers on the tanks. I couldn't recommend anyone more than ZesBro's plumbing.

The entire process took less time and cost less than I expected. Their quote was less than Amazon's installation price and much lower than Green T (they wanted over $1100 to install all 4! and it seems they lost their license in WA state).

So happy!! When we first moved in our house last year we had the entire place snaked by James because everything was a little clogged up from previous renters. But we fell into an issue because our bathroom sink wasn't draining at all even with the several attempts at it.

I recall James working on it for a good hour on this one sink. So he gave us a quote on replacing the pipes.

We hadn't called for 9 months because unfortunately my husband got laid off right after that so we waited. We used the kitchen sink in the mean time and finally got our chance to fix it.

Called them just a couple days ago and Fructoso came this morning right on time. I was a little hesitant at first because James was the last one working on out pipes.

But Fructoso did an AWESOME job! He worked the darn pipes and now its draining, no need for breaking any walls or replacing any pipes!! Ahhhh jumping for joy right now! My husband and I are first-time homebuyers. Late on a Friday evening I returned from a business trip to find mounds of laundry and stacks of dishes awaiting me.

While I was gone my husband couldn't figure out what to do, so his work-around was was showering at the gym and getting his clothes dry cleaned. I called ZesBro on a Friday at 7pm in a panic (surrounded by stinky clothes, cold water and dirty plates) and he came out right away.

Our hot water tank was at the end of its life but he made a quick fix so that I could get through the weekend. Sunday afternoon our old trusty hot water heater took its last and final breath.

My sink clogged the night before our vacation. We came home to a god awful smell after five days being gone.

First, scheduling was a breeze. Jimmy returned my call within 5 minutes and came out that night to look at my plumbing.

I didn't tell Jimmy this but I had another plumber look at the same thing the night before but was turned off by the Uber Sales pitch to try and completely upgrade my entire plumbing system with the other guys. Jimmy came by on time and started work right away.

We are on a septic system and Jimmy was very knowledgeable. He and his assistant (name also starts with a J as well but I forgot it) worked tirelessly and efficiently and solved my drainage problem.

Everything is now working perfectly with a warranty to boot. Pricing was reasonable and they cleaned up before they left.

The reviews here are all correct. This guy is the man and I have found my plumber for life.

Thanks again Jimmy Z! The main line water pipe to our home started leaking sometime last week. When I called Zesbro for an assessment and repair, I was initially told that it would save me time and money if I contacted a leak detector first and then called them to repair the leak.

When that was done, Zesbro gave me a quote over the phone and came out the same evening to fix it!! Not only that, but despite the fact that the detector was off by about 3 feet and the pipe was 4 feet deep instead of the standard 2 (which meant alot of extra digging for Zesbro), I was not charged more than my initial estimate! James also took the time to explain to me in detail why the detector was wrong and what I could expect from the continued lifetime of my pipe. While he was writing up the bill for services, I asked about the cost to estimate a leak that was an inconvenience, but not critical, so I hadn't followed up on having it fixed.

During our recent bath tub drain clog and stoppage problem, I googled and called several local area plumbers for estimates and bids. I saw a few of them advertised for $95 for Drain Cleaning Special and several had Online Web Special Discount Coupons ranging from $30 to $40.

The one with the $95 drain cleaning special came to my house and gave me the classic "Bait-And-Switch" estimate for $1,299 to replace drain pipes which we probably don't even need. Several other estimates ranging from any where between $330 (from Roto Rooter) for drain cleaning to over $1,299 for drain pipe replacement.

Then I found this consistently 5 Star Rated ZesBro Plumbing here on Yelp.com while doing a google search. I noticed the difference as soon as I called and talked to him .

He didn't even talk about price first but he actually asked me questions to try to understand my problem such as how long my bathtub had been slow draining before it stopped altogether. When he came to give us an estimate, he was even willing to go under the crawl space under our house to give us a thorough inspection of the drain pipes before giving us a thorough and detailed estimate.

Many plumbers will charge you just to do that. He recommended replacing the trap and drain pipe to bring our drain up to date and to building code for one Low All-Inclusive price of just $300 (the best quote we have so far with 1 Year Warranty.

And he even gave us a discount if we paid by cash. Some of the other plumbers we left messages for didn't even call us back and others gave us even higher estimates for just drain cleaning / unclogging without the parts and new plumbing replacement! James Zesati was honest, punctual, fast, efficient and professional in all respect.

I will definitely would hire him again and highly recommend him looking for an affordable, honest, punctual plumber with an excellent customer service attitude. We called ZesBro to have them review our gas line and pipe for a gas fireplace.

I specifically asked if they had competencies within gas, as we had been told the gas line we had was not up to code and could potentially be a safety concern. I was told they would review the job, and then give us an estimate for any changes to the set-up.

The guy who showed up was not able to communicate in English, and he had no idea about whether the existing installation was up to code or not. He then called back to the office, and the office called us to inform us they were not able to do the job or tell us if it was up to code.

The guy then took off without further explanation. Don't send out inexperienced people who don't speak English to jobs that require knowledge about what is up to code or not or at least offer to send a back up experienced and educated person who can answer what seems to be a fairly straight forward question..

Very happy with service. He also fixed my leaks in my kitchen sink.

I like supporting small business and working with someone who cares. Based on the already good ratings, I gave ZesBro a call at 10am when I had a garbage disposal clog in the kitchen sink.

Jimmy was very knowledgeable with the questions I had over the phone and was able to come out to my house within 45 minutes. He was professional and came prepared with all his tools.

The very old house I rent probably hadn't had the plumbing looked at in years, and we started having backup problems. I called ZesBro and set up an appointment for a couple days letter.

Later that day I got a call saying they could come by even sooner - perfect. James came by exactly on time, unlike many service professionals who are often an hour late, and immediately knew what the problem was.

The sewage clog was a bad one, and it took a lot of time and effort to fix, but he did it, and even gave me a discount because I found him on Yelp. Highly recommended.

First of all I should have written this 5 star review a few months ago when we used them for our apartment building. Our contractor friend sent his guy out with my husband to repair some debris caught in the mainline.

After 8 hours the guy gave up leaving my poor husband waist deep in a muddy ditch. Our tenants still did not have water and we started to panic.

Called Roto Rooter and they threw a price of $1500 out there to fix the problem. That's when I got onto Yelp and found Zesbro Plumbing.

James was calm, caring and came out to Seattle even though it was 8pm at night with no notice! He fixed the problem by 10pm and for less than $300. Awesome plumbers and nice to deal with!!!! On Saturday, September 8 I was getting ready to go to work at around 5:30 am and discovered about a gallon of water on my kitchen floor.

The water was leaking steadily down from the second floor through the ceiling via a canister light. After running around for about 20 minutes trying to figure out where the water was coming from and with no luck I headed to the computer and Yelp to try to find a plumber on a Saturday at 6 am.

I called four plumbers listed on Yelp before I called Zesbro Plumbing. I received a response very quickly from James.

He asked several questions, recommended some things to do to stop the leaking and stated the time he would be out. He had received an emergency call early in the morning so he was unable to come out to the house until between noon and 1:00 pm.

However, at that point the water had slowed to a trickle so we figured we could wait. Shortly before James arrival at the house we finally figured out where the problem was.

Our washer had filled with water and the water was leaking out the open door right over the floor threshold, which was dripping down into the kitchen. About the time we figured it out James showed up as promised, on time, looking professional and ready to take on any plumbing issue.

We proceeded to tell him what happened, he asked a couple of questions, made some suggestions and wished us a good day. We asked if he wanted payment for the trip out and he stated no (when is the last time that has happened to you, because it has never happened to me).

Any future plumbing problems we encounter we will call James and Zesbro's. It is really nice to encounter someone who is professional and positive and is interested in the customer.

Thank you James! Even though we've only used him few times, we call James "our plumber" since we don't consider using anyone else anymore. I may be biased since he's in our area and he's been really nice to stop by on his way home to look at a problem.

His work for us has included replacing a sink faucet and the plumbing underneath (sink trap, etc.) and dealing with an emergency flooding situation from our dishwasher--a job which the first plumber who installed it had apparently botched. He also pointed out a safety issue with our garbage disposal while he was down there.

He quotes reasonably, and sticks to what he quotes. A couple Fridays ago, I called him late in the morning to hook up a couple sinks in my office.

I told him we needed them done quickly, as there was an event at 7pm. He showed up later in the afternoon.

Our first experience was during hours in which he doesn't work, yet he took the time and drive out to Bellevue to help us when everyone else wanted to charge an outrageous "emergency" fee. The main line needed to be snaked or whatever they call it, and he advised us what the issue was and instead of making a giant deal about it making it sound like it urgently needed the multi-thousand dollar fix, he was very honest and to-the-point.

When the time comes to address it, we most certainly will call Zesbro! The second experience was for a leak from our water heater which caused our hardwood floors to buckle :( The water leaked behind where it wasn't visible, soaking the sub-floor. Again, he explained that even though our water heater was outdated, he didn't exaggerate it or anything.

He gave us great tips on dealing with the floor. We plan on bringing him back for the new tankless water heater installation and look forward to his quick, thorough work and great attitude! the water leak that ZesBro fixed in 2016/8/8 got burst again after 3 years.

I have water leak again and City of Redmond notified me on the unusual high volume of water consumption. It ended up the same spot being fixed by ZesBro 3 years ago.

I can understand why warranty is only good for one year Excellent, professional and reliable plumbing services. Two of the toilets in my home were running and needed the insides of the upper tanks to be replaced.

I eventually used Yelp to look up a plumber. The reviews for ZesBro Plumbing are definitely accurate.

I was able to get an appointment scheduled quickly (within 2 days of making the call). I would just recommend double checking to make sure they write your information correctly though since whoever scheduled my appointment had my name and number down incorrectly.

Thus, James (the plumber) was not able to call me beforehand but luckily, he found my place with no problems and came on time, so it wasn't a big deal at all. James was very friendly and did not try to sell me anything I didn't need which I really appreciated considering when I initially called South West Plumbing, they sent two guys over for a simple running toilet issue and even tried selling me a new, unnecessary $500 toilet (did not use them at all because of that).

James was finished within an hour (he didn't waste any time) and his rates for labor and parts are very reasonable (currently $90 per hour of labor plus parts; parts only cost me about $60 for the two toilets). He was even able to save the toilet flusher handles as requested by me (I didn't want to replace them since they match the rest of the metal trimmings in the bathroom).

James was also even able to help me with another issue - my dishwasher was loose and needed to be re-drilled in to be secured in place, which he did free of charge (really nice of him to do so). This was my first time using ZesBro Plumbing and I will certainly use them again for any future plumbing needs.

I was hoping to give a 5 star review if my drainage system problem was fixed or if not ZesBro's "warranty" means anything, but after 3 months my rain water drainage system is still clogged. Rain water started backflowing from one of the gutter downspouts in July.

I called ZesBros Plumbing and they came "water-jetting" it, and claimed it fixed and charged $350 for an hour of work. James was very polite and nice enough to fix a leaking faucet without extra charge.

I felt $350 was a high but was happy the issue was "fixed" with a "warranty" for a year. During the recent heavy rain in September I noticed that it is still clogged.

I called ZesBros expecting them to come back and fix the problem. They indeed came the same day, but without the water jetting tools! He looked around and claimed that the clog was further downstream and not covered by the warranty.

He will need to come back for another appointment and start the ridiculous first hour rate again! I did more research into the problem and found out that if I put water through garden hose long enough in July (so it fills in the entire perimeter drainage system), I could have known that the issue was not fixed. I also pulled out the document from my city which showed that ZesBro's description of my drainage system was wrong.

They were basically looking at a wasted "well" that was part of the old system (replaced in 95). As a comparison, another company came today and after 30 min try they honestly told me that they do not have the right tools to fix the problem.

They left without any charge. Shaun and Gino helped me unclog the drain, they are very kind and have done a terrific job.

My sink wouldn't drain at all. I tried using a plumber's auger to fix the problem but it didn't work.

Work was all said and done in under 45 min and James even took the time to educate us on how to avoid future complications with our drains.

- Charged me $54 for a $6.99 parts in Home Depot. - The problem came back in 2 weeks and I had to call another plumber to fix it.

i was hoping to be able to write a 5 star review based on the previous Yelp reviews. However for the third consecutive week James did NOT show up to replace our electric water heater.

The first time he said he was ill and had misplaced the appointment in his cell phone? Last Thursday he did call and said his equipment was 'stuck" at the work site of an earlier job. So we re-scheduled for 11 am today.

No james. No call.

I called at about 4 pm and he did call back-he seemed not to know who i was and said his vehicle was having maintenance and he could not get out here. I told him a call would have been nice and he did say he was sorry.

So still no new water heater. Ihave contacted another plumbing outfit and hopefully they will show up.

It's been a while since I've written a five star review, but ZesBro Plumbing definitely deserves one. Overall, the price, work, and customer service was outstanding.

I needed a water heater replaced on a trailer and Zesbro did all the research and picked up most of the parts for the job. When our plumber, Fructoso, got there, the replacement heater we picked up was not right size, but he was willing to wait for me to drive to West Seattle to pick up a new one and bring it back.

The job took a couple hours longer than I expected (mostly due to my fault), so I was thinking they would up the price from their original quote, but nope, it was still right on. Again, Zesbro Plumbing did a great job and I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

Called them at 8:30 a.m. because of a broken water main.

The woman who answered the phone gave me the best possible response, "Let me see if I can rearrange a couple of things and get someone out to you right away." Fructosa was there by 10 a.m. and we had water within a couple hours.

I wrote into Yelp yesterday looking for a plumber to come & give me a bid on a showe/tub that was leaking. Several responded with an amount that they charged to come out, to be applied towards the cost of the repair.

Then Allied Plumbing aka ZesBro (family owned business) called and they said they could come out today,Tues 8/28 at no charge! Fast forward to today, Travis one of the family members & another plumber showed up at my house at 11:00 a.m. They proceeded to look at the problem, diagnosed it, fixxed it - a very easy fix for them!!, charged me a very reasonable fee and were done, gone!! These two guys were so nice, pleasent, respectful! My husband and I were really impressed with not only Travis, but with the company as well.

If we ever need a plumber again, we would not hesitate to call them. Extremely fair in their pricing!! Outstanding work!! So a tip for anyone looking for a plumber - low cost may not always be the best option! In planning our bathroom remodel we shopped out our plumbing to several vendors, large and small and most came in between $5k-10k.

Zesbro gave the lowest quote of them all so we were going to work with them.... But buyer beware.

It's hard to rate Zesbro on their actual work because we were not actually able to see the work through... After setting up the appointment, it took significant effort just to obtain their insurance and bond information.

In terms of communication, even as a small outfit they're terrible!!! The other services you call, after only a few rings they answer and can either work with you on the spot or can call you back in 15-20 minutes. With Zesbro it took several calls to the office and James's direct cell phone to even reach them to set up our appointment.

To make things worse, it took another 5-10 calls to get someone to take our call so we could obtain their insurance information (which should have been provided as part of the standard quotation package as should a service contract). And after it all when asked to provide a copy of the plumber's certification within certain deadlines, they couldn't even do that and didn't even call to let us know that they would be late or try and explain.

I would expect this information to be on file as it's commonly requested for verification. They did provide us with a loose quote but couldn't provide a service contract and to top it all off it wasn't until it was asked for that James identified that his license was 2 months expired.

Needless to say we chose to find someone else that has their affairs in order and can adequately communicate. If you want a company that does great work Zesbro may still be a good option from what I've read, but in terms of communication and ability to provide the data you want and need and meet deadlines, they're second rate and you can find much better.

The water heater had to be replaced and Brett tracked down a replacement unit and kept us informed of its arrival date. Installation went smoothly and we had hot water again! I strongly recommend Herdman Plumbing.

Double kitchen sink's plugged up. Water's filling both sides and nothing's clearing the clog! If this happens while cooking dinner it's disaster--you can't wash dishes nor utensils nor nothing! What are you supposed to do? Hope you can find a plumber to come out to your place the following morning to clear the clog and fix that sink.

Which was this morning. Of course I first looked on Yelp for local quality plumbers.

Herdman was one of the ones I found. But oh no! The earliest appointment time is next Tuesday but they'll put us on the Cancel List.

Within TEN minutes I get a callback from Gina--there was a cancellation this morning and the plumber can be there this morning. Oh joy! Rapture! We're getting the sink fixed today! Brett and Vladmir arrived and got right to work.

They brought in the large Drain Auger Machine aka snake and other tools. In about 30 minutes they were done.

Brett was the lead tech but both men were friendly and efficient. Easy to see why Herdman Plumbing is so highly rated.

We would definitely call them again. It's a pleasure to add my own high rating for their business.

Jim and Volod were excellent and professional. They quickly found the root of the tankless water heater problem and fixed it.

What's even better is that they were able to come a day earlier than expected! They gave me a phone call before they came out, which I appreciated and even sent a reminder email. Thanks so much.

My only concern was that the charges were a little strange. A $15 fuel fee and $225 for "Open an access point in ceiling or wall to work on piping or locate".

When I called the company to ask what the charge was I was told that's the minimum charge, like the service fee. I guess it was typed into the receipt incorrectly.

Anyway, I hope I won't need to use their services again, but I'd I do, I'll be sure to call Herdman Plumbing. We are having a new shower put in and Jim and Michael showed up for the plumbing side of the install.

We were very pleased with the attention to detail and professionalism. Jim was willing to change the height of the shower head even after completing the first height request.

It made more sense to extend it to the higher position and they completed no problem. They laid floor covering down as to not track dirt into the house.

Overall we were very pleased with the work performed. When we have the next plumbing addition/install we will call Herdman Plumbing to see what they can offer.

This was quite stressful, so we called end of day to get an appt. No one was available, but they sent someone out the very next day.

He texted me when he was on his way and replaced the waterline and fixed a leak in another sink for only $350. They were very professional and prompt.

I didn't catch his name because it was only over the phone as this was a day before we moved in. We would definitely recommend them.

There had been a constant dripping in the bathtub that I attempted to fix on my own. When I finally was able to call a plumber, Herdman's staff was incredibly helpful.

They arrived kinda early without letting us know, which is usually a good thing except I wasn't home yet from work so I rushed home to meet them.

The first group was fine, did quick work, but they misdiagnosed the problem and the leak continued. Problem ended up being a broken toilet of all things.

Herdman agreed to reduce the price of replacing the toilet by the amount I paid for the first visit, which is fair. I bought a toilet and a different plumber - Dale and a second guy (I think his name was Devan or David) came out this time to replace.

My home is over 100 years old and I have used several different plumbers on numerous occasions, some better than others. I have used Herdman Plumbing twice now, and they are by far the best at diagnosing the problem and the most reasonably priced.

The first time was to fix a leaking toilet and second time to replace a kitchen faucet. Brett is friendly, professional, reliable and awesome at problem solving.

I highly recommend Herdman Plumbing and will definitely use them again. I had Herdman Plumbing come out to re-build a toilet which the previous owners had installed non-manufacturer parts into and resulted in a barely functional flush lever.

Furthermore, the previous owners didn't have the toilet mounted on straight which was an eyesore in the bathroom. The great folks at Herdman ensured that I had the correct parts on hand and helped to re-build the toilet and even straightened it out for me! Furthermore, after their initial re-build I noticed that the toilet tank was refilling every 10-30 minutes at all hours of the day.

I called Herdman Plumbing and let them know the issue and they had someone out the next day to fix the issue free of charge. I would definitely use Herdman again and recommend them to friends.

Unfortunately, we discovered after he left that he had gone into our bedroom and bathroom without permission. We felt pretty uncomfortable and even contacted the company.

I was told a manger would contact us but we haven't heard. It's been a few weeks.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure he went into our bedroom looking for the bathroom but he really should have asked. Since he didn't, and no one has contacted me, I can't say I would recommend this company to anyone.

When you trust a company to be in your home, you shouldn't have to watch them the entire time. In fact, I looked in and out on the tech every few minutes and still did not notice he had wandered.

Also, the lack of response to my complaint continues to be of concern. IF you use these guys, and I wouldn't recommend it, keep an eye out the entire time.

The problem was diagnosed as being with the County sewer line, and we were given very helpful photos by Herdman to assist with fixing the issue. When I had a plumbing leak, I called several local plumbers but was only able to get someone from Herdman out same day. The woman on the phone was great--quick, polite, intelligent, and obviously experienced with this.

They assigned the job to a company they use, apparently, called Express Plumbing. The plumber was quick and efficient and the charges seemed to be fair.

They also have a "preferred customer" list you can join which lowers your cost a bit, gives you priority for emergencies, and signs you up for annual maintenance check-ups. Highly recommended! Normally, I wouldn't take the time, but Herdman Plumbing far exceeded my expectations and thoughts towards customer service in today's society.

I called Thursday morning spoke with Haily at Herdman Plumbing and explained that my Rheem tankless water heater had gone out again (second one in two years). She explained, that their (Herdman Plumbing) warranty was only good for one year and referred me to a company in Seattle that was authorized to work on the Rheem water heater.

After speaking with the company in Seattle, they referred me to call Rheem directly for help with troubleshooting the unit. Rheem asked me to take detailed photos of the unit, exhaust, intake and outside where it exits.

Once I emailed the photos to Rheem. I called back and spoke with a representative, that asked how far is the distance from the unit inside to where it exits outside.

I explained it seemed about 20-25 feet. He stated it should only be about 5 feet and the exhaust vent should be a three inch, not a two inch.

Additionally, he stated it would be hard to warranty the unit because of the issues. I called Herdman Plumbing, spoke with Adam Herdman (owner) and explained the situation, he requested me to email him the photos that I just sent to Rheem.

After reviewing the photos, Adam called me back and stated that he was going to send a superintendent out and install a new Rinnai tankless water heater on Friday morning. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting this.

Herdman Plumbing took ownership of the issue, even though it was the builders fault. Just when you think in today's world, customer service is nonexistent, Herdman Plumbing changes my mind.
