My hot water tank broke on Tuesday night and flooded my garage. I called PSE and they recommended Mad Pipers Plumbing.

I called them around noon and Curtis took my call and confirmed he could come take a look the same day. Curtis came by around 2:30 pm and advised I would need a new tank.

My father had asked many questions and Curtis was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He said he could replace and install a new heater same day for a fair price.

He returned around 4:30 pm with a new tank and installed it in just under 2 hours. Curtis was awesome, very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to talk to me while working.

He answered any questions I had and even triple checked everything was in working order before finishing. I was very pleased with Curtis's honesty and craftsmanship and I would highly recommend this company! Thank you Curtis and team! It's veteran owned and they do offer a military discount but you need to ask for it. Curtis and his assistant Z were just here replacing a hose bib on my house.

They said it might take about an hour, but in 15 minutes they were done and the job was performed perfectly! Curtis was on time for my estimate the day before and even arrived a bit early when he came back out to do the job the following day. Curtis and Mike came and repaired a leak in our Trip/waste/overflow connection, a leak in our bathroom sink, fixed our laundry connection and fixed our hose! They did all of that in like 5.5 hours and they were so great. Will definitely use them for future repairs.

When Curtis first came to my house, he quickly figured out what could be the cause, and explained the situation to me in plain language. Turn out the house' builder used the wrong type of pump from the beginning which made it vulnerable.

Though he did not have the necessary equipments for get this big problem fixed that day, he sent me a thorough fix plan and price quote in PDF very quickly so that I got enough information to make the decision. After we agreed on the plan, he helped order the new grinder pump and scheduled the second appointment as early as possible.

They kept us posted on the ship day of the new pump as we were waiting. Later Curtis came back to my house with his colleague and they worked for hours on a very hot day to get the pump replaced and tested.

Now I have been using the basement toilet and sink for a month thanks to their help. One of the best customer experiences I've had in general, forget a plumbing company.

These guys were stellar at both and I will use no one else as long as I live in the area. They charged over $800 to replace a couple of water shut off valves under the kitchen sink, which took less than an hour to complete.

In the process, they created a problem with the kitchen sink water pressure, which they did not fix. When I called them to get this fixed, they wanted to charge me another $600+ to replace the kitchen faucet.

Do not trust these guys, they are a total rip off. Had several plumbing projects on my to do list and Mad Pipers were on time, in budget and very professional! Reagan was courteous, professional and understanding of our situation which was not knowing if we had a drain clog or needed our septic tank pumped. He sent Curtis and Jason over within a couple of hours to assess the situation.

They did and determined our tank needed to be pumped but told me if that didn't fix the issue to call them. We had the tank pumped and all seemed well.

For about six hours. Then the same issue happened again.

I left a message for Reagan at 9:00pm on Wednesday night. Thursday morning he called letting me know that Curtis would be by with the correct equipment that afternoon.

Curtis and Jason arrived on time and began to address the problem. Unfortunately after a couple of hours and many different methods the problem wasn't fixed.

They returned to their shop and brought back "Big Bertha" and worked at the problem for another couple of hours until it was solved. During the entire time both gentleman were courteous, polite and very friendly along with being extremely knowledgeable.

And they never gave up on the problem. I cannot recommend this company enough.

I needed a new kitchen sink and faucet plumbed and new water line to my fridge (both part of a kitchen remodel). They were respectful and on time and the work was done right! Will absolutely use again when the need arises.

Talked me through next steps and answered questions...very helpful! I hired these guys a couple of weeks ago to clear a backed up sink (septic backing up). It cost me over $500 to only have the sink back up a week later.

When I called back they said they couldn't get back for a few days to check it out. Meanwhile I had septic sewage coming back up my sink.

I called another plumber (Joes and 2 Sons) . They did in 30 minutes what Mad Pipers couldn't do in a few hours.

They had all the right equipment (larger snake and camera) and problem solved almost immediately. Mad Pipers was here for 3-4 hours and pulled out almost nothing.

Picture below is what the 2nd Plumber pulled out of my pipes that Mad Pipers left behind. Reconsidered rating due to a misunderstanding as to who would supply the tub.

Scheduling a (free) quote was a snap as was scheduling time for the work to be completed! Zach and his crew are not only professional but friendly and left the job site clean upon completion. They also take the time to understand what you have and what you need, making recommendations based on what will work best for you (budget and water pressure wise).

If you are looking for the best of the best, look no further! Toilet was installed but found the tank had a crack in it, next morning around 9 am they were back with a good one. Won't hesitate to call them again Had to have my water heater replaced due to it leaking and dying.

Called around for several quotes and then it became and emergency. Zach and Curtis shoveled their schedule around to accommodate my schedule ( working nights) and came out to change my water heater with less than 24 hours notice.

Thanks Mad Pipers!!!! Incredible service. Two visits to clear an issue I was having with my cold water trickling from the kitchen faucet.

The first visit they quickly identified all I needed was a filter (no charge). I replaced the filter, and everything was great, then it started to trickle again.

I reached out, and the guys were quick to respond - They found debris in the aerator and resolved it again with no charge (who does that?) Excellent and timely service, five stars!!!! Unlike shady professionals who rip you off, these guys resolved my issue, giving me an honest assessment. These guys are the best dependable and honest! I hired Mad Piper's to install a new tub and 3 piece surround in my main bathroom and had nothing but problems. The first mistake was they recommended, ordered and installed a tub and surround that was to big.

They installed a 32 inch deep tub and surround and it clearly needed to be a 30 inch. The one they installed went past my door frame.

When I pointed it out they recommended either reframing/moving the door or downsizing to a smaller door. These were not viable or acceptable options.

They offered to replace it with a 30 inch but said it would take a month to get it. I was able to track down the exact 30 inch model they recommended at the nearby Lowe's, bought it and with a friend's help got it to my house for them to do the swap.

I then had to wait another week or so for them to come back out to fix their mistake. They swapped the tubs and surrounds but didn't install the spout, valve handle or overflow trim which I assumed meant they expected me to install it.

I paid them $2,900 and assumed all the trim would be included as part of the install but figured it's not that big a deal and would just do it myself. Several weeks went by and after I got the drywalling and painting done I went to install the tub trim.

This is where I ran into another problem/mistake. They plumbed the overflow in a way that required a special trim cover that they didn't supply me.

The issue is that since they left me to do all that myself they should've done it so that I can go to any local hardware store and get a part that could work. They did not.

I had to call them yet again, explain the situation and was told they don't use standard parts like that but could get me something that would work. I had to wait over a week again for them to get the part and come out to install it.

I was skeptical but figured it was better to wait and see than start cutting drywall. Luckily for me the part worked well and looks good, it just should have been installed from the get go so I didn't have to waste more time.

On top of all that there's another mistake. They installed a chrome trim piece around the drain.

Problem is all my trim is brushed nickel, which the installer should have known since it's clearly on the trim kit box that he got the valve out of. So now I have a single piece of chrome trim that stands out even though everything else is brushed nickel.

What made is experience so frustrating is my house was built in the 70's and has only 1 tub/shower. All these mistakes cost me well over a month, which meant an extra month plus of not having a shower and having to drive to a family member's house in Everett to take a shower.

That gets old quick, especially when gas is over $5 a gallon. All these mistakes and no one ever reached out and attempted to make things right.

I definitely don't feel valued as a customer and regret hiring them. Do yourself a favor and hire a different plumber or you might have to deal the constant mistakes like I did.

They replaced our corroding pressure release valve and it did leak a tiny bit but they came out to address the problem on their convenience. Hard working guys that are extremely knowledgeable.
