David was initially very responsive and came 1 day late after notifying me that his truck had broken down. His crew dug up the area, installed a temporary pipe, put safety netting around the big hole and said they'd be back tomorrow to jet the pipe, put in the lining and finish up.

All good right? WRONG - they didn't' come back for another 2 weeks!! He said he had hurt his back and couldn't work, which is totally unforeseeable and understandable, but what is not, is that he strung me along, telling me everyday that he'd "come tomorrow" and then never show up. He didn't bother to even let me know.

I had to text him towards the end of every day, asking whether he was coming or not, only then would I get a response, and no apologies. His crew also used my hose without asking me, turned off the auto watering system I had set up for my veggie garden and broke the spray nozzle.

I only realized this after they had finished. Then once the work was done he asked for payment immediately.

I put a check in the mail that day, and when he did not receive it 2 days later, he had the gall to text me at 9:30pm Fri night saying he didn't get it yet. You made me wait 2 wks, you can wait 1 more day! His work passed the inspection, so hopefully all's good.

He was competitive with his pricing, but he needs to work on his communication!!! We've hired All City for two projects - first to clear a difficult clog and install a sewer liner and clean-out after we had repeated problems with back-ups due to settling in old clay pipes, and later to install some french drains around our yard to resolve a long-standing drainage issue. David was super responsive for both projects, took the time to answer all of our questions and discuss options, gave very competitive quotes, and gave us regular updates as the work proceeded.

I initially reached out because my downspouts were going into a clogged pipe. David was quick to respond and schedule to come out to look at the issue.

Within a few minutes he had his high pressure hose fed into my drain, having quoted me $500+tax. Within 30 minutes he was gone, having done the job by sliding his thin hose right down next to the drain and feeding in a super-long length of it with high water pressure.

Instead of a messy, jack hammer job that would have left repairs to be done on the patio and painting on the house, this was clean and quick. At the end, he said there had been no trap and he drew me a sketch of where he estimated the drain field to be.

He also took a look at another problem I have been having. His opinion was that it did not need work; that it had to be a problem at the gutter level, not underground.

It's a great weight he lifted on both counts. His work was only yesterday.

I will have to wait for a torrential rain to see if it did the trick. But I have every confidence that it was exactly what was needed.

After two days and several hundred dollars spent with another so called "clogged drain expert" it felt like this was about to get real expensive. They didn't guarantee their work and we were told the only solution would be to cut out the siding on the exterior of the house and add a new cleanout.
