My landlords hired JV plumbing to do the job. The work order was scheduled out for a week and a half.
It was a surprise 2 days later when they came to start the pre-work. Jose knew I had been without water for a week already and wanted the job to be finished sooner rather than later for my sake.
When Jose and his sons arrived they were respectful of my time/ space. They had the work and their clean up done within 2 days.
Even with having to reroute the original plans after opening the walls. He even fixed a couple other issues I was having in my rental.

JV Plumbing was able to fit us in to their busy schedule, and both were fixed quickly and meticulously. Lots of attention to detail with JV Plumbing - for example, after they fixed the second toilet, they went back and checked the first just to make sure all was good with it.
At the end of the work, I felt like it was a win-win: the toilets were working perfectly and I'd compensated someone fairly for their time as opposed to having been extorted for plumbing. Quick, friendly, efficient, and affordable! I called Jose about a sink problem and within 10 minutes he called me back and said he could come the next day. He showed up when he said he would and was in and out very quickly.

Couldn't be happier! Believe me, there are not enough words to express my thanks and appreciation provided by JV Plumbing during my recent home sale! I was dinged by the buyer's inspector on a water-flow issue with one of my shower handles. Naturally I took it upon myself to try and correct, however, once I hit a road-block I reached out to JV Plumbing for assistance & service.
Knowing my short timeline, Jose immediately responded with suggestions on how to correct. Discovering that the existing valve was too old without repiping, he offered to stop by to take a look.
It was then that he stated that the plumbing was in fact correct and not an issue. Apparently the inspector was unfamiliar with the existing shower handle and likely confused on the water flow.

It was a no-brainer they were going to be the first call I made. Jose personally took the call while he was on another job underneath someone's sink fixing some thing spoke to me for a few minutes and I briefed him on the problem and a few hours later he arrived at my home with a fully stocked service truck with his son with him to assist and fixed the leaky pipe.

He was very respectful of my house, he took his shoes off every time he came inside, even though he had to go in and out probably 25 times (installed an outdoor spigot, the back of which was inside the kitchen). He also saw that I have a cat and he ensured the door was closed so the cat didn't get out.

I called Jose at 12pm, he showed up at 1:48pm for a sewage backup in which he had to pull the toilet and clear the sewage lines. He was done by 2:50pm and after having no water for an entire week the issue has been resolved.
He quoted $1200 (which is nothing compared to Apollo Plumbing's $2,300 for the same job) and even gave us back $100 at the end as a Christmas gift which had my girlfriend crying in joy. Would 100000% recommend.

My main water shut-off valve wasn't working anymore. Jose replaced my old-fashioned 20 spins valve with a quarter-turn modern valve.
He also used modern methods to seal the valve. He used a Pro Press tool instead of saudering the fittings.

Needless to say I was somewhat panicked by the thought of water spraying out somewhere I could not see or easily get to at the back of a tight crawlspace. Jose's week was already full when I called but he managed to move my job up in the schedule to accommodate the emergency.
I was somewhat fearful that the situation would be too much of a mess for him to start work right away. Nevertheless, Jose got to work immediately with just a miner lamp and handful of tools.
Within 10 minutes I had a diagnosis and a very reasonable estimate considering the very difficult conditions of access. His assistant handed down a few sections of pipe and within 20 minutes Jose had replaced about 4 feet of my hot water line (the source of the leak) and, at my request, another section with an old refrigerator line connection (since I knew it was down there waiting to cause the next leak).
I was amazed by how quickly and efficiently Jose completed the job. Meanwhile, he found time to snap quite a few photos as documentation for an insurance claim, something I hadn't even thought to ask for.

I had a leaking hose faucet outside. I reached out to JV plumbing and sent some photos of they were working with.
They assessed the issue and we're quick to come out. They did a great job installing a new water shut off, frost free hose bib and water pressure sensor.
We discovered a leak in a supply line which required us to turn the water off to the entire house. Placed a call to JV and Jose got back to us very quickly and said he would be out within a couple of hours.
BTW, we called another plumber and never even received a return call! Jose and Blanca arrived sooner than anticipated. The leak was in an awkward spot in a narrow crawl space but was quickly and efficiently repaired at an extremely affordable price! We highly recommend Jose! Received quick response and work was done as promised and right the first time.
Arrived within 24 hours and was prepared with the correct parts to solve our shower faucet valve issue. Highly recommend this plumber.
We will use him again! Jose simply is a saint! The hot water heater in our rental unit (which is 200 miles from away). Disintegrated, flooding every room in the house- 2 inches standing water in the bathroom, the entryway- actually pouring into the parking lot.
We called numerous plumbers, they either couldn't get there in a timely manner or cost a fortune. Jose contacted me immediately, went to the unit almost immediately.
Not only had the tank rusted out at the bottom but the shut off valve had rusted out as well. He made a special trip from the condo to hi office and back to replace the valve.
The only way to make the repair was to turn the water to the building shut off. Which with a not so pleasant property manager, was no easy feet.
The upshot is. In LESS than three hours, he had brought my disaster under control.

I texted a couple pictures and he said he could make it happen. This was all during a time of power outages due to a recent storm, but he kept in touch with me via text about when he could come.
He arrived on time, and did great work. A plus is that he had his sons with him so they could learn the business too.

We had a little job, replace 2 sink drain baskets in our kitchen sink. Jose had a job that needed to wait so he got right to us.
He needed to re-use the existing baskets because they were low profile. Re-using them allowed him to save the existing trap arm and p-trap pipes.
It saved us the cost of 2 sink drain baskets and piping alteration. I had used plumber's putty like all the YT videos say, and as I'd done years ago.
He knew to use silicone instead, which I'd wondered about but didn't try. He knew the gaskets supplied (by the Chinese manufacturer) were too big and replaced them with extra gaskets he didn't use on other jobs.
This is where a stocked service truck and a knowledgeable plumber is invaluable. I knew the gaskets were too big but wrongly assumed the manufacturer designed them that way for a reason.
They were clean, friendly, efficient, and it doesn't leak! Plus, they wore masks which is crucial during Omicron and considering my wife has cancer. I normally don't spend time to leave reviews, but JV Plumbing provided such good service, I just had to leave this review.
Jose came out to my home to provide a quote for a Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) replacement. The original PRV was located under ground by the street, which was hard to access and service.
Jose Installed the new PRV in my garage which was easy to access for service and pressure adjustments. While installing the new PRV, he also installed (at no extra charge) new shutoff valves for the main line entering the house and one for the outside faucet which can now be closed to keep the pipe from freezing in cold weather.
Jose was great on communications and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely be calling him for projects I have later this year.

Responded right away to my request for information and was able to get something on the schedule a few days out. Arrived in the time window we agreed on and got our new faucet installed without issues.
Forgot to ask for an invoice when he was at our home, so I texted after he left and he got one to me almost immediately. I don't know how long it should take to replace a faucet, so I can't really comment on the amount of time the work took to finish.

Absolutely recommend JV Plumbing. We had an old water heater (close to 20 years old) that was due for replacement.
Our recent experience with a furnace replacement and a large commercial plumbing contractor in the area (you see their ads on TV) left us wanting to find a proper local plumber. The "big guys" were horribly expensive, big on the high pressure "upsell" (you know it's going to be bad when they send a "sales consultant" before the job), unreliable scheduling and slap-dash install.
So we poked around and found a number of local plumbers. I researched reviews and photos of installs, noting if they were installing quality components or the big box crap.
And we took a shot with JV. I reached out to Jose and he got back to me immediately.
Understood my issue, what I wanted, and made clear recommendations. He didn't try to turn a simple water heater replacement into a heat pump install or replacing all my pipe with copper like the big guys do.
I told Jose there was no hurry, this was simply something on my "honey-do" list, but he was out the next day to look at the situation before he gave me a quote (another positive sign, he actually investigated the job and what was needed). And they had an open slot in their schedule for the next day.
Showed up on time, did an excellent job, and pointed out where the previous heater install had problems and corrected them. Jose was crystal clear on what he recommended, what it would cost, and did exactly what he promised he said he would do.
Can you ask for more than that? What JV Plumbing ISN'T? Unskilled labor that takes the garbage toilet you bought at Lowe's and slaps it in with the same level of work you'd get from the neighbor who does it after the game and a few beers. It's top-notch professional plumbing work at an honest price.
We're likely going to be selling our house later this year and now I've got a high quality water heater, installed TO CODE. One big item off my honey-do list.
