What a terrible experience just trying to get my kitchen drain unclogged. The guy shows up with a $25 drain snake drain from home depot which didn't work.

In the middle of the job, he spent 30 minutes driving back to the office to get tools that he should have been carrying with him in the first place. Some of his tools didn't work or were broken.

He ended up using my hose, using my drain snake and needing my help to complete the job. I called the office the next business day to try to talk down the price and was met with a lot of unnecessary resistance and back talk.

I was even charged for the time the guy went back to the office. So much for customer service.

I would recommend a different company. As it happens, company is coming and the toilet decides to stop working! I called Streamline and they were available to come out the next day and installed a new toilet.

I have used Streamline Plumbing many times in the past. I have always been so pleased with their service and I highly recommend this company.

I will be happy to add them to our HOA's vendor list for reliable and professional plumbing company. Very nice technician tried his best on two trips to figure out how to fix a clogged kitchen faucet.

I ended up fixing the clogged faucet myself. All that was needed was to clean the clogged hose under the sink.

Not sure why that wasn't done by the technician? Pleasant office person forgot to return my call concerning the charges for not fixing the faucet and let me know the good deal I got on time and trip charges to not fix the issue. Another outstanding job by Streamline Plumbing! Jon and Tyler showed up on time, worked quickly and efficiently, installed 4 bathroom sinks for us very professionally, and cleaned up everything, including all the boxes the parts (we bought) came in.

These guys were great to work with! Also, they were very diligent about wearing masks at all times, without any prompting from us. Jon/Cody gave me great service in installing a new water heater.

My water heater went out on Wednesday evening. So I called Streamline the next day and they made sure that I was taken care of that day.

They were short of help on Thursday, but Jon/Cody worked late and got the job done. I have Streamline do my plumbing.

We found wet carpet in our finished basement near a pipe feeding the outside garden hose hookup. Based on a suggestion from my wife's quilting classmate, we contacted Streamline.

Phone answered on first ring and appointment was set up for an estimate the next day. Plumber John arrived as scheduled and not only made an estimate, he completed a repair replacing a section of pipe and a failed valve in less than two hours.

Friendly, competent and reasonable charge. We will definitely use them again if needed and highly recommend the company! John also suggested a remediation company here in Longmont whose tech is here now giving us an estimate on carpet drying.

Another review later perhaps. We had a leak in our master shower that ran into the crawlspace! Help! Streamline Plumbing came through ASAP.

I asked ,"if they do work for businesses." The woman on the other end of the line replied ," Do we DO BUSINESSES? Don't you mean commercial?" in an irritated and condescending tone. I had the phone on speaker and when my husband heard her speak to me that way he interjected never mind and ended the call.

I was calling because I saw all of the positive reviews on Yelp and typically that's a good indicator of the service. Unfortunately for this company the woman who answers their phones deterred us from getting a bid.

As a business owner myself I understand how important first impressions are. I would recommend customer service training for the woman who fields the calls - or perhaps just another person.

This woman sounded middle aged and you would think by that time customer service in any field would be a given. Streamline Plumbing is not what it used to be when owner Brian Wirth did the plumbing himself.

He was fair, competent, and honest. That has all changed now that others perform the work.

I was recently charged $462 to replace the flappers on two toilets (work that a handy man could have done). How did such a minor repair cost so much? There were two reasons: 1) Streamline sent two people to my home to do the work and charged me labor for both workers.

(When they arrived, I told them that I was only paying for one person to do the minor repairs). 2) It was an old toilet that required ordering the parts.

After examining the toilet, the two workers drove back to their shop (or perhaps a local plumbing supply business). They found that they did not have the needed parts, so drove back to my home to explain the situation to me.

The parts were then ordered online. It would, of course, have made more sense for them to call the local supplier ahead of time, rather than driving to the facility and then back to my home, but that would have been more efficient and reduced the bill to a reasonable level for the replacement of a couple toilet flappers.

Brian and his team really are top shelf. I have been pleased with both service quality and pricing.

They were also able to work with Euro metric fixtures. Thanks Brian.

We had just moved into a new house and started the day with a clogged toilet. We tried everything and finally gave in and called Streamline based off their other reviews.

They were able to come within 20 minutes. Unfortunately it ended up being much more involved than simple clog.

Someone had flushed a towel of some sort and what seemed like a simple fix turned into a 3-hour, two-man job. After exhausting several solutions, they were able to push it out to the main and cleared everything.

They recommended an affordable toilet to replace the old one that was pretty much broken saying that it would cost more if they tried to repair themselves. While it was an unpleasant move-in upgrade we weren't expecting, these guys handled it professionally and tried to move as quickly as possible.

They definitely saved us in a pinch! We just had Streamline Plumbing do several different jobs for us including the installation of a new water heating system that is far more efficient and delivers much more hot water than we have ever had in the 20 years we have lived in this house. While I understand that Brian, the owner does not actually do all the work anymore, he came to our house specifically to discuss this issue as well as another one that was puzzling me, what kind of a soaking tub to install in my upstairs bathroom.

Brian made a special trip on each one of these occasions to make sure that we understood what we were buying, and that it was indeed what we wanted. The people who work for him are efficient, capable and pleasant to have in the house.

We have always use Streamline and will continue to use them for all our plumbing needs. The level of professionalism and knowledge of their craft is outstanding.

Hands down, I give them a five star rating. Everything was great with the plumber's visit, with one important exception, that I'll get to below.

He showed me the tool he used to clear the drains, which he said costs $3 at Home Depot. That was great.

I've already gone out and bought one. He also gave me the option of getting a garbage disposal at Home Depot instead of buying it from him, which saves me about $150.

This is fantastic. He was very professional, courteous, and I believe he did a good job (we'll see if everything is working right over the next several days).

HOWEVER, there was a significant miscommunication over the phone with their receptionist about how they charge. I was told $100 per hour, with a $100 minimum, for labor.

(Parts are extra, of course.) But when the plumber wrote up the invoice, he said that whenever tools are used, there is a $100 minimum per task. I would never have made this appointment if I had known this is how they intended to charge.

As a homeowner, I don't know what tasks will require tools and what won't, and we had several tasks lined up to be taken care of in one visit. Luckily, the plumber was sympathetic and he contacted the owner, who let him charge me for time just the way the receptionist had explained it.

So it all worked out well for me. Since the plumber was so great overall, I would recommend them, but only if you get very, very specific with the receptionist on the phone about how they charge for labor.

Maybe even ask her to email the rates in advance. It could well be that they will change their policies after this experience that I had.

So I don't want to steer people away from them, just be careful about their rates. Streamline Plumbing came out to do some work at my house a couple of years ago.

Brian was friendly, professional, and offered some really good proactive solutions so that I wouldn't need a plumber to come out and clean some drains that frequently stop up. His charges seemed reasonable at the time.

Different problem, different house, and I called Streamline again to see if they could do a service call. I explained my problem to Brian over the phone and he was able to help me without making a service call.

That's great customer service. He could have come out just to charge for a visit, but instead he saved me some money.

Now I do. I called them up to track down a mysterious leak in my basement.

The guy they sent out said it looked like the water heater would need to be replaced. So, I scheduled for a different technician to come change it out for me.

Fortunately for me, the tech that came out was Brian, the owner. He looked at my water heater sitting in a puddle and noticed that it was kind of young to be leaking so badly.

Upon further investigation, it turned out it was a hose under my sink leaking into the wall and puddling under the heater, which caused it to look like my heater had gone bad when, in fact, it hadn't. Because he was so vigilant with his initial searching, I didn't have to spend $800 on a new water heater.

I spent $40 on new sink hoses. Awesome.

Also, the lady that answers the phone (who has a name I'm sorry I can't remember... maybe Holly?) was a pleasure to deal with.

She knew what she was on about, and was super pleasant. Wow.

Referred to streamline for a water pipe rupture. Doug came out and repaired the pipe.

We had a huge issue with our basement bathroom needing to be gutted. Doug helped isolate the issue which came from our kitchen bathroom.

Totally professional and great to work with. I will highly recommend Streamline 10 over.

I was impressed. I called on a Saturday afternoon and Brian answered the phone.

Two other companies that I left voice mails for on Sat still have not called me back (1 week later). Brian told me that he would be at my house Monday morning at 7:30 and that the price for the repair would be around $170.

Guess what? They were on time, and when the job was done about an hour later, the invoice was $135. Not bad.

Brian (the owner by the way) didn't arrive on time, he arrived EARLY, which is new to me :) He was very courteous and fixed the issues he came out for. He took the time to explain what he did and made some recommendations.

The price was what I expected to. I will definitely be using them again? Honest, fast, and dependable.

What else could you ask for? I called with a toilet seal issue, and had a narrow window I was home this afternoon. They not only accommodated my schedule, they showed up on time, diagnosed the issue AND had the rare special order part in their van.

Streamline Plumbing will by my first, and likely my only call from now on. Contacted Streamline to perform an "air pressure test" on my gas lines that was being required by Xcel Energy to hook up a gas meter.

It is a very simple test that can easily be done on your own, however Xcel requires a licensed plumber to do the test. After speaking with Streamline, they stated it should not take any longer than 1 hour for the test, so I scheduled the appointment.

It actually took them 30 minutes. I am fine with paying for a minimum of an hour or even for drive time, but I received a bill for 2 hours of plumber labor at $120/hour! ($240) Their hourly rate is quite a bit higher than other plumbers in the area and they seemed to have beefed up the billable time as well.

After confronting them, they did adjust the bill 30 minutes, but I will definitely be going elsewhere next time. I would beware of using them.

I had planned to have Streamline install a toilet that I special ordered from Lowes. When Lowes screwed up the order after a week and it was going to be 2 more weeks to have it delivered, I called Streamline and asked if they could do it all.
