However, he didn't show for the scheduled work this morning, didn't answer when I called, nor has called back. John from Element plumbing is top notch.

We had a few small jobs to do and he arrived only 90 minutes after my call (which was not an emergency and I expected a day or two wait). We turned the water off to replace a valve and instead of standing around waiting for the water to drain from the pipes, he asked me if there were any other jobs to do wihle we waited.

Then when he was finished he mentioned a bad hose into my compactor - he had worked for 40 minutes at this point and I would have had to pay for the hour anyway, so he could have left then and there, but he brought this problem to my attention and fixed the problem in another ten minutes at no additional cost or time. Very helpful, courteous and professional.

Decent rates. Would highly recommend.

As a tile contractor ( London Tile ) I frequently need to refer a plumber to my clients for their remodel and repair projects. John is at the top of my plumber list because of his prompt response, reliability and excellent work.

He has worked on my own house and our rental property many times, always with satisfactory results. Returns call, shows up, does good work, is under budget and on time.

Sounds simple right? When our water heater died, I made 10 calls to plumbers. 3 called back.

1 was twice the price and couldn't do it for a week, the other was 50% more and a few days out. John showed up the next morning and did the work for a reasonable price and offered the same water heater as the others.

Once again we used Element plumbing and were extremely satisfied. Our hot water heater was leaking from the top, we called late in the afternoon and John was there on the dot at the appointed time the following day.

A dishonest plumber could have charged who knows what, as we had no idea what was wrong. John changed two leaking water lines (had all the parts) in no time at all, and only charged us $150.

When, I had recently received an incorrect evaluation from another plumber, he saved us thousands of $$ by finding out where the real issue was. He knows how to explain the issues clearly so you can understand it, and then he provides a solution to solve it.

He doesn't just make assumptions, instead he really uses his knowledge and skills to make a correct evaluation. He knows what he's doing, and I am really impressed.

Seriously, just stop reading these reviews and just go call John to fix your plumbing issues. You will not be disappointed.

I called this plumber because he got such good reviews. My rental unit had a small leak -- the tenant thought it was coming from the supply hose that connects to the toilet.

I called John and he sent out one of his guys -- he charged $140 to fix it. (He was supposed to deduct $25 for Yelp, but neglected to do so.) The next day, the toilet started leaking in the exact same spot.

So my tenant called John back and he told him there would be no charge for the service call, unless we needed additional parts (which seemed fair). But then, when his plumber came back out, he charged an additional $166 (including the Yelp discount this time) to put in a new fill valve and flapper.

I called to complain, but John wasn't willing to refund any money. So basically, I paid more than $300 for two service calls that maybe took 30 minutes combined.
