We found a leak under the sink in the morning and the problem was fixed by that afternoon. I am sure ROD Plumbing is good at small plumbing repairs.

I hired them to replace the sewer line from my house to the city (approx 10 feet). They started the job on MAY 4th.

They failed inspection a number of times. We were not told when we were on test.

We were not told when we finally passed inspection. I had to call or text for updates when we noticed nothing happening for days or when we found our pipes backing up because no one took them off test at the end of the inspection.

When I asked questions, Diana usually got back to me, sometimes not. Only once (on May 5th) did Diana reach out to me with an update.

They finally passed inspection and backfilled on the 24th OF MAY. When they backfilled, they filled the ditch at the street.

When I expressed my concern, Gustavo said "it's just dirt, it will probably wash down the road". Gustavo came to the door to collect payment after he told me to not worry about the ditch.

At that time I was informed that a credit card fee would apply. Mind you, I had paid them $450 on April 12th to clear and scope the line.

No fee was assessed then. I don't mind the fee HAD THEY TOLD ME, but they did not.

When I contacted the office, Diana said they charge it for large jobs as they work with a lot on developers. I am not a developer.

I should have been informed. She finally agreed to reverse the charge if I drove to Hutto to get a bank check and send it for payment as, with Zelle, Venmo, Bill pay, etc., I haven't had physical checks in ages.

This was a very disappointing ending to a very disappointing experience. Three weeks into my "4 day" job...I am just happy it is over.

Two stars as they did eventually finish the job. The reviews are great for minor plumbing fixes.

I think this was just too much for them. As it is, I wouldn't even call them for a clogged p-trap.

Fantastic experience all around! Gustavo came out the same day due to a clogged toilet in one of our bathrooms. He ended up removing the toilet as he was concerned with scratching it with his snake and after doing so found the problem to be a foreign object (from our 3yo) wedged inside the toilet.

Unfortunately he was unable to get it un-wedged from either end which forced me to have to buy a brand new toilet, but nonetheless, was very professional, understanding and helpful. Quickly took care of a stopped up sink that I had and good price. This contractor was assigned to me through a home warranty service.

They called me on a Monday to schedule service. I returned their call on Wednesday.

They said the service was cancelled because it took too much time to respond and said I had to call the Home warranty back to get it reopen, which I did. The home warranty told me that Rod plumbing were the ones who closed the work order because they were no longer interested in doing the work.

We had to re-do our wet room floor and Rod Plumbing helped disconnect the tub and faucet as we re-tiled the room. Unfortunately when moving the faucet, something happened to cause water leaks down to the slab.

While I am not sure if it was done accidentally by Rod or the tile guy or the fiberglass company, Angel stood behind his work and came out every time to investigate. It took several efforts to fix the issue and Angel and his team spent a ton of hours working to solve the problem.

Unfortunately sometimes mistakes happen, but Angel showed great professionalism continuing to promptly address the issue until it was fixed. I really appreciate how he stood behind his work.

I've been using Rod Plumbing for a while now. As a contractor I have dealt with many different plumbing crews and this is by far the most competent and competitive company I've had the pleasure of dealing with.

All the guys that work for the company I get along with and are easy to talk to and keep me informed on any plumbing issues that may arise and are always ready to help with any issues I may have. We had a water softner in oct installed.

Angle was amazing he was very patient in answering all our questions and concerns before we purchased the softner. He did an amazing job installing the softner and his price was fair.

I had a leaky faucet. I bought one from home depot with intentions to install myself.

I couldn't get the old one off. Scheduled an installation through home depot and they sent Rod Plumbing.

Angel was prompt and so nice. He had to cut the old one off.

Upon opening the brand new faucet, he discovered 3 key components missing. He volunteered to take it back, exchange it and return later that day to install it.

Right away I got the feeling he knew what he was doing. I had been told by another plumbing company that I had a collapsed drain underneath my house that needed fixing after they ran a camera down my drain and failed their attempts at unclogging it.

My house is on a slab, so this would've been a costly job. When Angel came out to give me an estimate he thoroughly inspected the drain and worked hard to make sure it wasn't just a bad clog.

Sure enough, it turned out to just be a SUPER clogged drain. No collapse at all.
