Review and analyze now for company Excalibur Plumbing and provide the analysis in the discussed format for the following reviews: '''I arrived to my home last night & found water on floor in laundry room. Also had problem that both toilets were not flushing.
Called Excaiber this morning @ 7:00 am & had Curtis here by noon to help with problem. He checked out the problem & told me problem was with the City of Round Rock Wastewater Collection & problem on City equipment.
Got phone # & made call to City - they were here and had line cleared b 2:00. Thanks to Curtis & Excalibur plumbing for assisting us to solve the issue.
They always answer the call when I contact them !! Mickey B On time. Professional.
Fixed the problem quickly. Competitive price.
What else can you ask for? The plumber was above and beyond "certified/bonded." He provided a lot of good information to make a reasonable decision as a customer. It avoided "up-sell" or "fear/doubt" type of sales.
Now we've had the water heater for 6 years with zero problems! The install was great attention to detail on better copper/brass pipes, fittings & proper sealing. Along with maintenance tips for long-life.
Plumber is a horrid, vile unprofessional person. Working on my elderly neighbors home, with a quadriplegic child.
Has called her every name in the book! My husband and I walked out because we were so afraid for the lady. He shut her water off and has been sitting in his truck now over 30 minutes - I am sure she is having to pay for that.
His screaming is interrupting my work from home time as well. You honestly would think he is being injured or horribly hurt.
Threw his straw hat at her. Horrible.
We wanted to phone the police he was so scary. We had originally called to have two faucets replaced in the Primary bath, but soon realized there was something else wrong.
We had a dripping pipe in our primary bath due to the builder incorrectly installing a P-trap upside down. We called Excalibur Plumbing (who we use for all our plumbing needs) and Curtis came out the next day.
Curtis saw the problem and immediately went to work on solving the leak issue from the 2 dripping P-Traps. The fix involved cutting out some drywall, which Curtis did quickly and with almost no dust! Curtis replaced both P-traps and ensured all the pipes inside the wall were right and tight.
There was no mold! He was neat, careful, and cleaned up the work area, all the while explaining each step needed. Then he installed the new faucets for us.
Curtis did a great job for us and was so helpful. We would use him and Excalibur Plumbing again for any plumbing job.
Excalibur Plumbing has always been quick to respond to our needs when we have a plumbing problem. If they can't fix it they don't charge and offer referrals to others who may do so.
Their work is excellent so their number is the first one I call. I got the 2 water heater installed in 2022.
Water heaters have worked fine and installation was smooth. I haven't had a complain since then yet This is the second water heater that Excalibur has installed for me about seven years apart.
Both times I received immediate, same-day service. The service rep gave us helpful advice and was courteous and quick.
We will use them again. Patricia N.
I am very satisfied with this company. I have used them for about 10 years.
Over the years, I have had them install 4 water heaters and a water softener system w/ whole-house filter. They have also come out for a clogged drain.
Prices have been reasonable, good response time, the work has always been right the first time. I definitely recommend Excalibur Plumbing.
Walt M. Cedar Park Curtis did a great job thinking through various possibilities for a rather complex situation and found the most cost effective and non invasive solution then did a great job with the repair.
Nick was here to fix the toilet valve leak and replaced the value and the tubing to the tank. Excellent job done by Nick.
I will use this company again. They are on time, fast and ittle more expensive than others but they deserve.
I believe, I will use them when I need again. Great response and service.
I will add the phrase "as usual." They continue to be the plumbing service of choice. They were good to work with and handled the warranty claim for me seamlessly.
It was disappointing they the Rheem heat pump water heater had a failure in the first year though. So far the replacement unit has worked very well over the past few years.
They arrived on time, did the work, and schooled me on the use of water sensor. Very good work.
I was not home and he came to me place and completed all the work as requested. he cleaned up and really left no,trace of a workman.
my entire toilet works were replaced and now work like a charm. Professional staff and customer service.
The answering service representatives are always polite over the telephone. Excalibur responded to my tenants emergency, water heater out.
Excalibur installed new water heater the next morning, tenants were very pleased. Curtis Kurka, the plumber who came to our home, was very professional, friendly, and quick to get the work done.
This is the second time Excalibur Plumbing worked on our home. In both cases, they came the same day we called and got the work done quickly.
In both cases, their prices were reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.
Every one hate when your water heaters suddenly stop working but, calling and working with Excalibur made the process Easier and I loved the value I was given. Please for your own peace of mind call Excalibur.
Great product. Great installation.
Knowledgeable installer. Professional crew.
The water heater is working really well. Service was fast and quality top notch! Definitely recommend! Blake was quick to respond and very patient with all our questions.
Amazing service! Curtis came out to fix our leaking sink - he was very friendly and quick to repair it! We will definitely be using Excalibur Plumbing again. Installed an RO system that is now leaking and they won't stand behind their work.
Blake was unwilling to send a tech out AFTER his company had committed that they would. I've used Excalibur for tons of jobs and will NEVER use them again.
Poor customer service. I've used this business in the past and had pretty good luck.
They replaced a water heater in my old house and fixed a few minor issues in my new house. My current water heater just decided to go out.
It was 15 years old so I guess it was time. I contacted several plumbers, including Excalibur, to quote a new water heater and I got an automated response from Excalibur asking me to contact their local office.
I ended up chatting with one of the reps via their website who took down my information and said someone would be in touch. No one ever called.
In hindsight, I should have called their office instead of chatting with a rep online but when your juggling work, multiple bidders, and screaming kids, you've got to do what's most convenient. I had to give the business to someone else who managed to show up within a few hours of sending a quote to me.
It was really more of a 3.5 star rating. 4 stars from answering the phone 4 stars for getting on the schedule quickly 3 stars for the Technician--NOT a plumber & this is being generous because he was nice 2 stars for the price of the work actually done They charge $200 an hour just to look around for a leak.
I agreed out of desperation because my entire first floor floor had flooded. If they actually do anything besides look to diagnose, there are additional charges.
They charged me $249 to auger the main sewer line 50 feet. He didn't even have one long enough with him.
And after not actually finishing the introducing the auger, the city came by and found the problem but I was still charged over $400 for his wandering around and semi putting the auger down the main line. The real kicker though was that on the invoice statement, he stated that the home has been vacant for two years! That was an out right, absolute lie! And now my insurance company is questioning this.
I told him that I purchased the home two years ago! I said it has never been vacant. Now I have to provide loads of documentation for the insurance company for them to decide if they are going to cover it.
This was part of the damage done during the freezing storms here! He was a nice guy but I was not impressed with his skills or lack of, at all. We needed a new hot water heater.
Service was fast, efficient and good rate. I would recommend Excalibur Plumbing to all my family and friends! I had a slab leakage.
After Jason ran a whole day's manifold diagnosis, he claimed he found out the leaking line. According to him, he isolated the line, the leakage should stop.
The pic shows how it looked like a few days later, water was all over my garage. Texted and Called Jason several times, no response.
I wrote email to Excalibur, but nobody ever replied. I paid $1000+ for the diagnosis, Excalibur only invoiced $900+.
Called them multiple times, I was told by Bryce that Jason would call me back or Bobby (master plumber) would call me. A month has passed, no calls.
We had an issue with our water heater, thought it was bad. Excalibur Plumbing was recommended by a couple people in our neighborhood so we gave them a call.
Micheal was very professional he explained what was going on and fixed it. He is very reasonable we will for sure use Excalibur again for any plumbing issues we may have.
*HIGHLY RECOMMENDED* So...if you're looking for a warm and fuzzy receptionist, stop now. Also, if you're looking for good communication, that may also need some work, but I wanna give big props to Eddie he gets 10 outta 5 stars.
He thought he was coming for an estimate in the afternoon but I'd confirmed the week before they'd be there between 8-9 am, to get the job done! So, Long story short, if you're looking for a "bend-over-backwards- to-make-it-right" kinda guy, Eddie, at Excalibur, is your man. Long story long, read on: I had scheduled a follow-up appointment with Excalibur 2 months ahead (had an assessment and estimate done some time ago, and I live out of state, also had to have the HOA notify the other condo dwellers about the water shut off ahead of time ) So, Eddie showed up and saw I had a literal tower of faucets and parts that I'd been advised to buy for the work, he was pretty confused.
(He thought he was there to "have a look around" not to do the repairs). He was not certain that all of the fixtures needed replacing at all, and methodically tested water pressure to the building, and checked out the sediment in 8-10 possible traps and quickly determined a flush and a few flow valves would like remedy 90% of the issues I'd been having.
In the end I returned the fixtures to the tune of nearly 800$, and got great advice along the way. He was meticulous with his pricing disclosures, professional, and knowledgeable.
I'll go through this company again, but you know who I'll be asking for!!! We had a water heater fail two days ago. I called another plumber and was quoted $2500.
We thought that was high but with the virus outbreak we were happy to get someone out. The install was to happen the next day.
I got on our neighborhood page and got a recommendation for Excalibur and was told that person paid about $1350. I immediately placed a call, cancelled my appointment with the other company.
First thing the next morning EXCALIBUR called, came out installed my new heater and charged me just about what the others had paid. The service was awesome, timely and they honored social distancing.
I also saved over $1000!! No price gouging with Excalibur!! I highly recommend this honest company. Thank you Excalibur for such honest service!!! We recently wanted a plumber to make some modifications to our plumbing.
On the recommendation of a neighbor, we called Excalibur Plumbing. We were very glad we did -- they came out the next day and promptly did the requested work at the previously agreed price.
No issues. The plumber, Eddie G., was very knowledgable, and willing to teach us how to maintain the plumbing.
I highly recommend Excalibur and Eddie G.. Eddie came back a day or two later to check whether we were still satisfied or had any questions.
They're who I will call for my next plumbing job. I had a great experience with them recently when they came out to my house to fix a leaking hose bib.
It turned out that I needed a new pipe which required going in through the wall of the bedroom. Eddie was very professional, showed me and explained everything he was doing, and was very friendly to me and my dog.
I called Excalibur to ask to borrow a pipe cutting tool, as a piece of rebar got lodged into my car. The very kind gentleman, Rich, came out to look at my car and he was able to remove the rebar for me! I had tried for 30 minutes to remove it, and decided I'd need to cut part of it so I could drive to a car place to have it extracted.
If they are that responsive to a stray lady near their parking lot, they must treat customers awesomely! First of all let me say that we have used Excalibur Plumbing in the past and they have done good work and at a reasonable price. This last time, we had them send a plumber to come out to flush the water heater at our residence and at a rental home we own.
All seemed to go well, and it was the same plumber that did both houses, but after he left we noticed that we didn't have hot water in our house. Then we checked the rental house and the water heater was dripping from the faucet.
Since it was after hours on Friday, no one at the main number answered and there's no ph number for emergency calls. I was able to call back the plumber that actually did the service, and he was rude and abrupt to me , said he couldn't go back out, and to contact the main number.
When my husband called him back after trying again to reach the main number, he was much more pleasant to him ,but insistent that he could not come back out to take care of the problems. He them advised my husband how to turn hot water back on that he forgot to do when he serviced our water heater, and to tighten the valve or faucet on the rental house water heater.
The water heater continued to drip even after tightening it, and my husband had to run a hose from it out of the garage. Both things should have been taken care of when he serviced both houses. We had left several messages at the main number, but no one ever called us back on Monday.
I had a water heater replaced yesterday 07/22/19 and tonight water overflowed into my garage. No after hours phone line.
Had to shut off water from the city side. I have brand new furniture stored in my garage.
The reason I had my old water heater replaced was to prevent this from happening! I hope these guys respond promptly tomorrow morning and make this right! Put in two hot water heaters last year. had leak on Saturday morning, I called them and was told someone would be here on Monday! Not good.
Meanwhile, my room is filling up with water! Just found out the "work" they did installing our shower fixtures last August have been *LEAKING* inside the walls. There's mold everywhere, thanks to Jeff.
Beware. He couldn't have cared less when he came--kept saying he couldn't do this, wouldn't do that, etc.
Outrageous estimates for additional work, too. Now I know why.
Inept product that we're now on the hook for. Late yesterday afternoon the the pipe to the outside faucet of our home broke.
To stop the the flow of water I had to cut the water to our house. I started calling plumbers, hoping someone would come respond the same day and repair the pipe.
Two of the four plumbers I called, there was no answer and I left messages asking them to return my call. The third plumbing company answered the phone but told me the dispatcher would return my call to schedule the repair.
When I called Excalibur, they answered the phone and told me they would respond. Within 20 minutes the Excalibur employee (Richard) was at our home, repaired the break and the water to our home was restored.
Excalibur was responsive, friendly, and did a great job! . After we request service, we were fortunate Jeff came to our house quickly and help us checked all the pipe and potential leaks may have happened during the storm.
Jeff wore a mask the whole time, and was polite and professional throughout the process, and still try to minimize the mess. I recommend them because I felt they genuinely wanted to help as much as possible during this crisis.
We had a leak under the kitchen sink and a wobbly faucet. You never know who to trust.
After searching many plumbing company reviews, we chose Excalibur Plumbing. So glad we did!! From setting up the appointment (Brice was friendly and listened to our issues) to the actual service call.
Eddie Guerrero was experienced, knowledgeable and very nice. Issues were addressed timely and price in line.
We have finally found a trustworthy and honest plumbing company. Thank you Excalibur Plumbing and Eddie, who I will always request in the future.
We called Excalibur on a Friday afternoon. This was a non-emergency call and within business hours.
The technician showed up and ran a 75-foot snake less than 10 feet and let us know we likely had a broken septic pipe, near the city line and dirt was coming off of the snake. For this service, we were charged $339 to have someone come out to run a 75-foot snake less than 10 feet.
I'm told this is the standard charge. We were then quoted $4100 to fix the likely broken pipe.
There was mention of using the cost paid for the initial service and another discount of $199 if we went with their quote. When I called to discuss possibly putting us on the schedule, if we could agree to a price and offered them $3600 to do the job ($3562 is the actual math w/discounts).
We even inquired about their financing and were told someone would call us back. No one called us back and they actually countered with $3800 which we declined.
It is unfortunate that this company lost business because they chose to take advantage of the situation. Additionally, they even showed up at our house as they had "penciled us in" without our consent.
I was even told by Management that now their crew has nothing on the books because they blocked off two days. With untrustworthy business practices, questionable quotes, and lack of communication - I would never recommend them.
If you are this far down in my review, I suggest you call your city utilities first. Even if they find it's on the homeowner's side, they're free and ran a camera as well.
$1000 to replace a $100 pilot assembly? No way! Use Excalibur your own risk. They came out to check our water heater because the pilot light wouldn't start.
Tech quotes me almost $1000 to replace the gas burner assembly, which is a non-functional part and only used to hold the gas. The part is $140 online and takes about 15 minutes tops to install.
His other option was to replace the whole water heater. I almost laughed in his face.
Never mind that the gas burner assembly is not even the problem with the unit and I was told by the manufacturer they almost never have to replace those. Manufacturer then sent me the replacement part, for free, after troubleshooting over the phone, which I installed in 5 minutes.
I very highly recommend this company! They are the best. They are professional, knowledgeable, and so easy to work with.
Jason resolved two separate plumbing issues that I had and I couldn't be more satisfied. So if the time comes and you need plumbing work done, these are the people you will want to call.
Believe me, you will be totally pleased with them. Thank you, Ron I called 5 different plumbers in Liberty Hill and Leander and either received no call backs or they said they had all the work they could eat.
When I called Excalibur, they fit me into their schedule. They wanted my business.
The tech came out, fixed the busted pipe and was done in less than an hour. Fantastic all around experience.
Thanks! I called many places all over the Austin area to get a quote on having my water heater replaced. I spoke with both Bob and Richard at Excalibur.
They were able to quote over the phone after I gave them information on what I currently had at my home and what I was looking to replace with. They were friendly, helpful and responsive throughout the entire process.
They were extremely compeitive on pricing using a flat fee system. I was so impressed I opted to go for the additional warranty that they offer.
I was able to book for Friday service on a Tuesday and they showed up on time first thing Friday morning, were very professional and did an outstanding job installing the new water heater. Bob also called after my installation to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction.
I am very pleased with my service and will use them in the future! After finding so many high rated reviews of these people on Angie's list, I called to get an estimate done for some work. They scheduled us for Monday between 12 and 3, they have 2 phone numbers to reach us and communicate with us.
It's now almost 5, no phone call, no plumber. I would appreciate it if they would just say "we don't want your business".
Sitting around wasting over half a day waiting for someone to not show up has cost us time spent not at work, literally this company has cost us money without even doing anything. Not even a phone call.
They needed to disconnect my water softener and see what was clogging up the cold water in the kitchen sink. He had it fixed quickly and have had no problems.
I really appreciated talking to someone who knew plumbing when I called to schedule the visit. Jason came over today and got my hot water heater working again.
Very professional, polite and competent. I recommend highly.
Used Excalibur a little bit ago and forgot to post a review. Service was amazing.
They were upfront and honest with the work that needed to be done. No hidden fees or charges.
They left the house cleaner than they found it and engaged with the family as if it were their own. Kids had lots of questions and as kids do, got in the way at times.
They were professional and courteous and treated the kids as paying customers giving them answers and treating them with respect. I'd recommend them to anyone.
Wow. What an amazing experience.
Found these guys on Home Adviser. They do phenomenal work.
The installer John and the scheduler were great at communicating and informing me of next steps. My hot water heater went out at 10 am today I had hot water by 4:30 pm.
Also better equipment at 20% less than Radiant or ABC. I'm blown away.
I also have a 6 year warranty no questions asked. Geez these guys are legit and professional.
I thought I'd have to wait weeks to get my burst pipe fixed after the massive snow storm. They put me on a waitlist and said they'd get someone out between Fri and Sun.
They called Sat morning and said someone would be here in 2 hours, and they were. Jason found the cracked pipe, fixed it, checked everything, and went above and beyond.
He and the owner were both super friendly and professional. These are my favorite plumbers ever! Recently, my water heater went out and I called three companies to schedule a quote during normal business hours.
Excalibur was the only one to answer the phone and schedule me within 24 hours. Thomas and Richard arrived at my house and quickly wrote up a fair estimate and completed the work within about two hours.
They were nothing but professional and also helped me with a super small repair (free of charge!) in my spare bathroom. Something wasn't quite right with the connection (probably due to my super old house!), and Thomas stayed until it was fixed, ensuring I had hot water, even though I'm sure he was ready to end his day and head home! I was home alone during the repair and felt very safe, treated fairly, and was given the best service I could ask for - as a female, this is all super important! Thanks guys! These guys are the real deal.
I love how they come out first for a complimentary consult. John was so professional and was completely honest with everything.
He recommended that we have another company come out just for comparison. It was not needed.
My uncle has his own plumbing company and I sent him a picture of the quote and he said the prices were very reasonable and that we should absolutely go with them. So glad we did! We now have amazing hot water pressure and the water is SO hot! Definitely call these guys up if you're considering having any plumbing work done in your house.
Told us that they would arrive between 2-6pm. At 5:30 they called me to say they would not be making it.
Did not even offer an apology, tried to blame my wife for setting up the appointment they no showed to. Their pricing is fair especially compared to other plumbing companies.
They came through same day to replace a water heater at a rental house, very grateful for them and I recommend. We had a spot on the wall that looked like a water stain.
Excalibur was able to come the same day. They sent out Eddie Guerrero.
He was very polite and professional. He was very thorough in his investigation.
Upon looking in the attic for possible leaks he found signs of roof leaks. There were no indications of a water leak.
Thanks to the Excalibur team! Eddie Guerrero came and drained our 2 water heaters today. He was very professional and thorough!!!! I've used Excalibur three times and am always impressed by their customer service and work.
They are a great local company that I can depend on. I got a deal with them through Angie's list.
They came to do a flush and refused to do it as my water heater was old. When I said there was no disclaimer or conditions to the flush stated on the offer, they checked with the "manager" and came back and said they won't do it.
Mind you, they did not check the water heater. They just looked at it from the outside, said it was too old to flush (it is a 1997).
They insisted it would have 'hard water' inside that they didn't want to be responsible for and made up some crazy excuse about how flushing it would cause more damage. Then then spent about 20 minutes trying to sell me a new hot water heater.
Clearly, the entire offer was just a scam to up sell people. When I finally did get it flushed, surprise surprise, the plumber said that there was no hard water inside, that it flushed very fast and had no damage.
I never got my money back from Angie's List but that is another story. My old water heater began to leak.
Excalibur was quick to get me scheduled. The servicemen explained what needed to be done and why.
Excalibur replaced the water heater with a new, larger water heater and brought it up to the current code requirements. The brand they used is one that I researched and had excellent ratings.
The switch out was not an easy task. After it was done, they took the time to show me key features and how to do maintenance.
They were excellent overall! I would use them again and recommend highly to others. Bought a plumbing service on Angie's list from Excaliber Plumbing and was completely satisfied with the service and professionalism Thomas gave us.
I would recommend Excaliber to all who need a plumber. Very happy with Excalibur.
The valve in my shower failed. They were able to come out quickly and do the repair.
The work was solid, the service tech was very nice and did a great job. These guys saved us during the freeze had a broken copper pipe and needed to shut off water.
We emailed on a Saturday morning of the most crazy week when everyone needed a plumber. They called us back! They emailed us! They gave us an appointment.
LOVED them and their service. Thank you!! Telling all my friends! Reasonably priced, close by, friendly service, quick response and replacement of a leaking water spigot.
Evidently the city water lines are the homeowners' responsibility from the shut off valve in. Called Excalibur and John was at my house within 45min and had the issue fixed...loose fitting.
Tightened it up, no service fee or charge. I was blown away.
Obviously very honest and prompt. Thank you! We have apparently been on the schedule for 3 different days and still no one has showed up.
Horrible- all I can say - don't bother calling them they will answer the phone - give you an appointment but then not show up! I gave them one star for simply answering the phone. Our water heater was past its replacement date and was getting rusty as well as leaking into our garage.
Bob, from Excalibur was flexible and informative and sent Corey on a saturday morning. We were told it would take 3 hours but Corey and another tech took out our old water heater and replaced it with a 50 gallon rheem water heater in under 2 hours.
We appreciated the good deal and quick job! These guys were Amazing! Two months ago my pilot light on my 15 year old water heater went out. They were out within three hours to relight and give us a quote on a tankless system.
The bid was very reasonable so I called the operations manager and asked him if we should move forward with the installation or hold off until the old water heater died. Naturally I assumed he would push me to replace but he said he would hold off until the old one died.
I was completely impressed that they didn't to encourage me to buy right away. Two months later on Thanksgiving it started leaking.
I called Excalibar back on Thanksgiving thinking I would be leaving a message and they answered. Not only did they answer but they scheduled replacement of the hot water heater for Monday and it was done by the end of day on Monday.
We couldn't be happier with the service or the tankless product. I would absolutely consider paying a little extra to get the recirculating system so that you have "on demand" hot water.
It's really nice to jump in the shower and have hot water immediately. These guys were always great at keep me in the loop after snowcopolis 2021 while we had no water.
We eventually used someone else that could schedule us in earlier, but the communications was highly appreciated. Tale of woe: My hot water heater died on or about October 1.
I was still paying off work I had done on my car and I have no major credit cards. On November 12, after paying off the car work, I looked at Home Advisor, found Excalibur Plumbing, read online reviews, and contacted them.
I was able to get financing to have my water heater replaced. I spoke with Bob and after applying for financing, scheduled the work.
Tuesday November 13, Bob called to let me know the team was on the way and would be at my home shortly. Alan and (sorry, I did not catch the young man's name- Craig, Greg?) showed up about a half an hour later.
They were on time. Big plus! They replaced my water heater and installed a new Insinkerator.
I am so impressed. They did such a good job.
The cost was reasonable. I was able to get financing, a major plus which made it possible for us to have hot water again.
The water heater is fabulous! And they insulated the water lines to and from the heater. I wasn't expecting that.
Beautiful job. :) They took such care installing the disposal, making sure there were no leaks and even going to get an additional part.
They had to rerun the drain lines and doodle about to get everything to fit and work correctly. First time I have had a working disposal in 9 or 10 years.
Alan took time and exhibited extreme patience in talking to me, and explaining everything to my satisfaction, and his. Long/short: They responded to my query in a timely manner.
They worked with me to be sure I got everything I needed and wanted. They communicate well and the team that came to my house worked well together and did a good job.
They do excellent work for a reasonable price. Five stars! I will use them again.
So happy I called Excalibur when I noticed the hot water running red! Louie came out and determined that one of our water heaters was leaking and the other was likely to start shortly--both tanks were full of rust! I was able to schedule replacement for first thing the following morning. He was polite, honest, efficient, and even good with both kids and pets.
He took the time to explain the type of plumbing we have and how that could affect future repairs if they become necessary. He made sure that I knew I would need a roofer to come and check the seals around the vents attached to the water heaters (they're in our attic), and he also went above and beyond in making sure that everything was cleaned up and in as good or better shape than when he arrived.
I honestly can't say enough nice things about Louie and the crew at Excalibur. They will always be my first call if something goes wrong with our plumbing! These guys are fantastic.
I felt their initial quote was a little on the high side at first, but I am so glad I had them do the work. They have proven to be honest and they absolutely look out for the customer.
Without getting to specific, it took a couple trips to my home and home depot for the problem to be solved, but my plumber really went the extra mile to find a creative way to solve the issue that saved me thousands of dollars. Thank you again for your excellent service.
OK. We are a "member" with this company by paying for 3 years of on call service.
Recently we called them to help with a clogged drain in a sink. They scheduled us 5 days out.
OK not really helpful. But then when the guy showed up, he said that the drain is clogged.
He will have to diagnose and fix and it will cost me $139. Hello! I called them to look into the clogged drain.
He did not provide me with any new information. When I protested, he just left! Never going with this company again.
I had a variety of little things that had built up over time that needed a plumber to fix then but I let them go as no single one was worth a call. Then when I had my stove moved and wanted the pipe extended so it fit properly I gave these guys a ring.
Thomas came out and quoted the job and all the little things that had been bugging me. I picked out the major ones (budgets to be met, after all) and he got started.
He worked quickly, cleanly, and professionally. Everyone was done right the first time and he came in a little under the estimate to boot.
I would certainly recommend 'em and use 'em again. Very knowledgeable quick to respond.
Quick repair and quote for preventative maintenance work to stem off future problems. I would use them again for Harmony Point Memory Care.
Once again disappointed with Excalibur. The service technician didn't even know where the anode rod was.
He tried to tell me it's behind one of the control panels. Um, no, it's on the top of the tank.
Here's a video to prove: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzecqGyCllU and also this: "The anode rod in your Rheem water heater is located on top of your tank. More precisely, your magnesium or aluminum sacrificial anode is visible through a hexagonal head located in the center of your tank under a plastic cover.May 28, 2019" Highly recommend going with a different company.
We had Excalibur install a hot water heater a few years ago. They did great work and the price was reasonable.
Our water softener is having problems, so we called them out again. The qoute was almost $2500, and the guy said he didn't know how much was parts vs labor.
I am very disappointed and sorry I have been recommending them. I was expecting around $1000 based on my research and I will keep looking.
I have used Excalibur plumbing 4 or 5 times and each and every time they are outstanding. Today was Jacob and he was exceptional at keeping the house clean and getting the job done quickly.
In the past I have had Louie come out and do work and he is exceptional as well. Quick, clean and efficient.
Thanks for all you have done! Blake did a great job testing my water pressure and correctly adjusting it. Very knowledgeable and experienced.
Highly recommend Excaliber!'''.
