He quoted my husband and I $9,500 for 2 mini spilts and a breaker box as the home we had purchased was on the old fuse system. He requested over 50% down to start the job.

The first day one of his employees showed up, he immediately sent a text requesting more money. When I stated I wasn't comfortable paying more until norepinephrine work had been completed, he gave me a sob story about needing to pay his employees and that he'd been really sick.

So we gave him another $2,000. Mind you the young man working on the house "preferred" to work at night and showed up at 9pm with a headlamp.

Fast forward to the day they were apparently finishing the breaker box. David requested the reminding amount of the quote.

Supposedly there was only a few more simple things to do and then the job would be complete. So we blindly paid him the rest of the money and never heard from him again.

No one from the city ever came out. 6 months later and the old fuse system had finally burnt out and we have no power.

It's mid July in texas with no A/C, no refrigerator, no way to cook. Nothing.

So we reach out and he acted surprised that no one from the city ever came. After 4 days of him saying someone is going to come, and no one ever showing up.

We finally broke down and contacted another electrician. This gentleman knew of this other guy's reputation all to well.

He informed us that David never had a permit to begin with as the meter that had been installed was not from the city. Thus proving there was no permit from the start.

This man knew our electrical situation was dangerous and chose to screw us over. He won't respond to anything now.

He had us pay in cashiers checks (blank) so there's no proof we paid him and he apparently didn't have legit estimates at the time due some technical issues, so the agreement was made via text messages and is not a legally binding contract. This guy belongs in prison.

I did business with David for 17 years but his integrity has gone down the toilet lately. The last time I used him I spent over $4000.00 on various projects but one fixture hadn't come in yet.

I paid for the item with the promise it was to be installed once it came in. I contacted him several times but continually trusted he would get back to me.

It has been 8 months and now David won't answer my calls. In 17 years I had spent over $150,000 with David and his company and now he has basically become a thief.

Do not use him, he is untrustworthy. I had David and his crew install 2 new construction units to much regret.

Early on he placed the air handlers on the wrong sides of the home, when questioned about it he assured us we were mistaken. Once the condensing units were set it was obviously that we were right and he blatantly lied.

His answer to fixing the problem was to place the condensing units in the proper sides of the home but to turn one air handler fan up and the other down (these units are a full ton difference). After several phone calls he had some one come out to supposedly switch the air handlers.

I don't believe this is what was done. I have cold air going into my addict, one side of the house the unit never cuts off and that side of the house only cools down at night, the other side of the house the ac is so loud it sounds like a box fan blowing out of the vents.

I have since called a different HVAC contractor to come out and evaluate the issues so corrections can be made. Very reasonably priced especially for "after hours" work.

Plumbers arrived promptly and understood what our unique problem was. Will definitely be my "go-to" plumber from now on.'''.Read less
