Had I not had to call the company myself for a question, I never would have known.

Then I scheduled an appointment, which was a long way off from when I called, but I understood because with the winter storm, everyone was needing plumbers, but when we set an appointment for them to show, no one showed up. Finally, around 1pm, we get a phone call saying they will be there in the afternoon.

Then we get a second phone call saying they'll be here at 5. Then another phone call saying they would be here at 6:15.

Finally, the plumber shows up. He was unable to complete the job we had gotten the quote (the quote should have been better written so others knew what to do for the job) for because he could not get the dishwasher out of where it was and he didn't want to work underneath the sink because he couldn't get behind the dishwasher to turn the wrench.

He seemed unwilling to consider another option. We then explained that we had been without hot water in the sink for all this time and we would really like hot water in the kitchen (we had been boiling water to wash dishes).

He then said he could cap things off and get us hot water. While I felt it was a little pricey for what he did, he completed it quickly and got us hot water for $336 bucks.

He said when the demo folks come out to do our cabinets, we can call him back to finish the job after they demo and before they build the new cabinets around the dishwasher. It will be a pain to manage the timing but we'll make it work.

All said and done, I'm happy with the job that they did, I just wish the entire job could have been done in one go and that the scheduling were better. The plumber was nice and professional, and ultimately did a good job for what he did do.

It wasn't really his fault as much as it was the plumber who is no longer with the company's fault for not writing the quote properly so people in the company knew what the job entailed. I would actually use them again--I know this review sounds bad, but the work he did do was good and he was friendly and courteous.

If we could schedule better, I'd definitely use them again. To be hones, i will advice you to not work with them.

they are scammers and after your money only. Bad service and Derrick is the worst of them all We needed a new pipe for our tub spout since ours was too big to fit a universal spout and Pioneer Plumbing was able to fix everything for us.

Jed and his partner were assigned to us. They quickly gave us an estimate and did the work.

They also had us inspect everything after they were done and gave us tips on future spout changes. Highly recommended company! If I ever had any other plumbing needs, I'm contacting Pioneer first! These guys came out same day at 5:30pm and took care of our commercial issues.

This team went way above just a job. Listen if you have had several plumbers out and can't find the issue or get it fixed right, call these guys! Called them to have my home serviced.

They asked to speak with homeowner, and ultimately was just more hassle than needed. I only had a few days at home so instead of doing the work myself we called these guys.

We needed the tank flush kit replaced,(we supplied) and the filter replaced(we supplied) at our well water supply. Even though I told them that I wanted the kit replaced the guy that arrived said that I only needed the flapper.

So that's all they done swap a flapper out. Then changed a filter.

The charge was $153.00 per item. Yes, $306.00 if I remember correctly for about 30 minutes.

You be the judge. In August, Pioneer Plumbing put in a pex system in our home and were outstanding.

Thorough explanation and quote, quick completion of the job. We were able to stay in our house every day except one night where they had to turn off the water to complete the job.

Cleaned up after their job each day... helped move things in and out of areas they needed to access.

Can't recommend them enough. We priced many and read a lot of reviews before deciding on who to use for this expensive job.

I was directed to Pioneer Plumbing for a garden tub overflow drain pipe leak. They insisted that I allow them to get to the house before they could quote a price.

They charged me a trip fee then tried to charge me double what a different plumber charged for the same repair. The Pioneer Plumber said they had a standard fee for an overflow pipe replacement.

That would have been better quoted over the phone if it is a standard rate. I was also told that they would charge more to add an access panel.

There was also ready an access panel present. I opened it and could easily see the leaking drain pipe.

I deal with lots of craftsmen and trades. I would not use this company.

I was hesitant to call a plumbing company, but couldn't put it off any longer. Our water pressure was terrible and with guests coming and going, it was getting embarrassing and cumbersome.

I looked around and landed on a local company to come to the rescue. The plumber came out and removed an unused filter that was on the entry pipe to the main water supply.

He also replaced a fitting that was ancient. He did a multi-point inspection throughout the house and in the hot attic (for the hot water heater) and made some recommendations.

A few minutes after he left, we tested the water by turning on the kitchen sink faucet and flushing a toilet at the same time. Yay! Water was still flowing at good pressure in the faucet! I highly recommend this wonderful, local plumbing company to help with your plumbing needs.

Made an appointment, Pioneer technician was late, and gave me a price on arrival, for wax ring replacement job, of $298, plus charges if any other problems were found.

Since the $298 is a standard starting cost, I believe this could have been told to me over the phone, and saved me some time and disappointment. Do the Math!!! Your not getting a better price with membership if within a year your paying it all back.

Pleased with the overall courtesy shown to me as the general contractor and my client in Humble, Tx. I had a previous plumbing experience with John Moore Services which turned into a total ripoff for a simple bathroom sink clog.

I am not sure their tech was even a licensed plumber. I had a friend who was a licensed Master Plumber in an other area of Texas who recommended Lescon Plumbing.

I was impressed with the rep that I talked with and scheduled an appointment to look at our gas water heater. Roberto was the tech who looked at it and decided that flushing it was the logical service.

He was very thorough in checking everything out and made sure all the areas he worked in were left clean. The heater is working much better.

The cost of the repair was very reasonable considering the long time he spent here unlike John Moore's final cost. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing affordable, professional plumbing help.

This company was supposed to fix 2 running toilets...however their first service call resulted in water damage from flooding (they broke replacement gasket valves from over-tightening), toilets still ran constantly if not turned off, and required them to come out 3x to fix the same issues they were supposed to fix the 1st time. Bc of ongoing issues and inability to fix the simple plumbing issues, I had to call a 4th time,and the owner *refused* to stand behind his own labor warranty and then *demanded* I delete a negative review and replace it with a good one, before they repair the damage and issues they caused (issues were now worse than when they did the 1st service call).

That is manipulation and extortion, and I'd rather get a competent company to do the work and leave a review up to inform others. After I told him I was leaving up my review and his integrity and quality of workmanship were both severely lacking, he called my relative and my realtor, threatened them, was rude, and extremely unprofessional to say the least.

I built a new house and there where many issues with the plumbing, but the latest, a tub they installed poorly and multiple times. Come to find out, they did not remove the compartment necessary to access the power cord for the motor, which must be done before the installation.

Lescon did the plumbing for our subdivision in Tomball when the homes were built in 2010 and boy did they do a piss poor job. They glued on the ptraps under the sinks of every sink in every home in our subdivision.

The ptraps aren't supposed to be glued on and are threaded to be able to screw on and screw off just in case stuff falls down the sink or your sink gets backed up and you need to unsrew the ptrap to get that something out or unclog your sink. Now that this thing is glued on, if you ever need to get in there you will have to call someone to come and recut the PVC pipe and reinstall it correctly.

The real irony of this is, Lescon put their sticker with their company name and logo on the piping under these sinks, this is how we know that they did the plumbing. Why would you try to advertise by placing your company name and phone number on a shitty done job? Maybe Lescon thought that the owner of the home would call them when they drop something down the drain or the drain gets clogged up for them to come out and charge to recut the PVC pipe and actually do the job correctly the second time around.

Well, in this case it didn't work that way and is why I am leaving this review. Tip: Lescon, the next time you dunces do a job shitty intentionally, please don't be so stupid as to advertise your company name and number on the shitty done job.

I just had a small plumbing repair done by the guys from LesCon Plumbing and am very satisfied. I called yesterday they scheduled for today 8-12 and called 30 minutes before arriving at 10:15.

The crew was friendly and knowledgeable. They fixed the broken pipe and gave me information on how in the future to lesson my chances of this happening during a freeze.

They were also affordable and rebuilt my confidence in plumbers (ones I have never used before). I am so happy that I was referred to them.

I have had Lescon plumbing in my ho,e 3 times in the last 90 days for 3 different repairs. Each time the plumbers were very courteous, very friendly and very quick with the repairs.

The first time they came out and replaced a clean out drop and moved it away from being right beside the driveway which is why it was broken, they had to dig down replace a few foot of pipe, reroute and install a new clean out pipe, the second time it was to snake a drain that was stoped up requiring them to snake the drain all the way to the street about 80 foot, today they replaced both of the hose bibs for the washing machine, neither would turn off and we have a new washing machine coming on Saturday since our died and is over 21 years old. Each time the plumber treated me with great respect, they were courteous to a tee and they were quick.

From my past job history I am familiar with what these jobs should cost and on all three jobs they were less money than I expected to pay for the repairs that were done. They seem to operate on the idea of do a job correct, charge a fair dollar amount, and have good people working for them, keep customers for life! I have dealt with many different service companies and I give Lescon plumbing a big thumbs up for their way of doing business!! I have owned several houses in the past and plumbing in the current one is so bad.

1.5-2 years after moving in (house built in 2012), things are breaking apart. These people provide a good customer service and charge a premium; however, their work is crap (even though it may not seem like it immediately after), AND THEY DON'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT.

Two of the six bolts (3 toilets) in my house are severely corroded and One restroom makes a really loud noise after flushing. This is a sad review because I found the actual work Lescon's employees performed were very good.

My problem is with there management. We had an AO Smith hot water tank start leaking from the top.

We called Lescon because we had used them before and were happy with their service. They sent a plumber out who advised both my wife and I that we needed to replace the hot water tank.

The plumber told my wife and repeated to me that a new tank would cost $1175 with the inspection service fee to be deducted from the amount. I told the plumber to let me check and I would get back with him.

After visiting Home Depot and Lowes to validate pricing I called an authorized him to replace the tank later that day. The next day (Saturday) a new crew installed the tank and advised that their office would send the bill as we were paying by card.

I called Lescon on Monday morning and spoke with the office and they advised that the work was $1350. I told them $1175 had been quoted by their plumber.

She told me that was the old price. The lady checked with her colleague's and then told me no that we must pay $1350.

I protested and went back over what had occurred. She told me that they would file a lien if we did not pay the amount.

I was stunned as I had never threatened not to pay. We paid the $1350 minus the inspection fee.

In the process Lescon lost a customer. We are often ask about recommending companies when are neighbors have problems and we will make sure they are aware of our experience.

I'll buy a drain snake and do myself I had my sewer line replaced on Thanksgiving morning and I'm not happy with the process that we went through. they destroyed my yard with the machine they used to dig up the sewer line.

I told them that it's unacceptable with the way they backfilled the hole...today is January 28 2024 and my yard still looks like they dropped a bomb on it..bad enough they charged me 15,000 dollars and I can't even have my yard back the way it was. well I guess I will probably spend a few more thousand dollars on having a landscaping company fix what rotor rooter did...if anyone wants to see my yard before you hire them your welcome to see it.

please do not use them I would rather hire a blind excavator operator with not arms to dig my yard... I recently discovered sewage backing up into my basement (YUCK!), and not sure how long it had been happening before we noticed the smell.

Needless to say, I called Roto-Rooter. They had someone snake the pipe, and immediately give us a quote to clean up the disaster it had caused.

They also inspected the rest of the line with a camera incase there was anything else going on. Their cleanup crew were the true superstars- full hazmat suits working until 7:30pm...

and Roto-Rooter is dealing directly with the insurance company- so hopefully that helps streamline the process! We did have their plumber quote a separate but related steam pipe leak- but I decided to go with my local/regular plumber for that- at 1/2 the price! Roto-Rooter is amazing for messy, emergency projects, but I'll always prefer my local plumber for non-urgent issues. I worked with this company twice.

The first time in 2022 and again in 2023 for a plumbing issue. In 2022 I did not have the funds to complete the job so I delayed until 2023 .

I called them back thinking I would get the same or similar pricing. They more than doubled the price and had a hole in my basement for several days because I refused to finish the job with them after having the sales person up charge me.

Don't do it. Not a trustworthy company in my opinion.

Beware their charges, estimates and the attempt to exceed the necessary services. I called the service for a regular clogged sink and toilet, and the technician claimed we needed to remove the toilet for $1,600.

We knew that was BS, so we told him to try snaking it. He kept resisting, saying that it wouldn't work.

We insisted, and of course, it worked. And then he upcharged us like crazy for just snaking the toilet, even though when booking the appointment, they told us the visit itself wouldn't cost anything.

It took the technician less than 5 mins to unclogg. I never write reviews like this but I was genuinely terrified from my experience with Roto so I am going to share.

My toilet was clogged at night and I only have one bathroom so I had to call a plumber quickly. I called Roto and kept asking for a ball park quote but they would not give it to me.

After two hours they sent a plumber to my apartment and HE QUOTED ME $500. Ridiculous.

I negotiated it down to 300 but he kept trying to add additional charges / services that I TOLD HIM I DID NOT WANT. He also made me sign the invoice paper BEFORE he filled out the form / added the price and charges.

SO SKETCHY. As a woman alone in my apartment, I was terrified.

He was able to unclog my toilet with a machine quickly, but then he spent 15 minutes "filling out the invoice papers." When I finally got the bill he tried to only give me $100 off (which would make the service $400). That was NOT what we agreed on.

Finally he put the correct amount. Then, I told him my credit card number and the app he was using would not take my credit card, so I had to go get him cash at an ATM.

DO NOT USE ROTO. They are insanely overpriced scammers and extremely creepy especially if you are a woman alone in your apartment.

They "snaked" my main line, $350, then i asked for a camera, they couldn't get use it because i needed another service where i was quoted $1250, and still charged for for the camera which he coudlnt "see" which was another $300. I just called another place and they said that was insane and they would have charged, if anything $300 to snake and take a look.

I told him I didn't understand why they would have to rip out the wall as the research I did online said it was most likely the cartridge in the faucet handle. I got a second opinion and the new plumber fixed it in 20 minutes.

It went from a wall rip out to just changing a simple cartridge saving me a lot of time and money. I don't know what that particular plumbers experience was but he was definitely over selling the job.

We had a clogged sewer line so I called what I expected to be a reputable business - Roto-Rooter, but nothing could have been further than the truth. Called Friday (3/17/23) and they sent someone out immediately.

Guy comes in and after doing zero investigative work of any pipes says "we are going to need the jet guy to come out". Turns out this guy had limited experience, was not a tech, and had no authority to make that decision - more to come here.

Jet guy shows up by himself at 8pm and works his butt off trying to fix the problem. This guy I have no issue with because he had zero support, and clearly limited experience with no formal training.

$1,800 (yes, you read this right) charge. Next day same problem, so nothing was fixed and I'm out $1,800, so I called again.

Saturday (3/18) morning jet guy shows up first thing and tries to remedy the situation. Then what seems to be a closer called "camera guy" shows up around 10a and runs the camera through the line.

Camera guy immediate disclaimer: "I'm in the excavation end of the business so I don't know (or clearly take any responsibility for) what has happened here." Remember: same company. Really zero issue with the line except for a "root" about 16' out that seems to be blocking the line.

Camera runs over 100' with very little issue with the exception of this 'root'. Now comes the up-sell.

"Well, there is clearly a root issue in your line and I think you need to have the chain service to clear the line." Our iron line is 30' until you hit clay - the clay was completely clear and, but for the "root" and some accumulated sludge in the iron pipe, the line was clear. "That will be $100 per foot or $3,000 to clear just the iron line", says the camera guy.

WTF? You charged me $1,800 for nothing at this point and now you distance your business (excavation) from the other (jet guy) even though you are the same company? Nice. Quality service.

But it gets better... "But what I recommend is to excavate the pipe because it's clearly at issue or put in an outside trap...that will run you anywhere between $12k and 15K." say the camera guy.

Ok, I'm done with these guys. I get the bid for the line (chain) clear, get a copy of the video, and schedule service for Monday (3/20).

I immediately reach out to friends and family for professional recommendations and ultimately cancel Roto-Rooter. Professional recommendation comes in and snakes the line (this is important because IT WAS NEVER DONE BEFORE BY ROTO-ROOTER).

Issue at about 16' was confirmed. New group runs a camera and determines that the issue is not a "root" but rather a the head of a toilet brush stuck in the line blocking solids.

This all takes about 30 mins. So let's recap: * Roto-Rooter sends un-qualified and un-prepared employee out to determine job characteristics that doesn't do any actual work - NOT EVEN TO SNAKE THE LINE - and calls jet guy * Jet guy works hard to no avail * Camera guy screws jet guy by saying "different departments" and tries to say "all is well - trust us - the company will do right by you" * Camera guy gives me crazy $$ bid for work that doesn't need to be done and talks to management to "get to the bottom of this" and says someone will be reaching out to discuss.

TO BE CLEAR: I waited 24 hours to Sunday (3/19) afternoon to see if anyone from Roto-Rooter would call...crickets...and as I'm writing this on Monday (3/20) night, still nothing. * Camera guy admits that the person sent out was a recovery guy (clean-up only), was not a "tech", and had no business making any determination on the problem.

* Further, camera guy's information shows that a "tech" did show up. I can tell you that this is complete BS and CYA at it's best because nobody else showed up and they know they f-ed up.

New group fixed the issue immediately and we are back in business. But for the hard work of the jet guy I would have given Roto-Rooter no stars.

Avoid at all costs. Unable to clean backed up sewer line.

Trued for 20 minutes and wanted to charge $300. Our septic pipe had backed up into our finished basement leaving about of a quarter inch of sludge approximately 16 sq ft area on the floor.

We called Roto-Rooter and they got there within an hour , fixed the clog and then recommended that they remove all the baseboards and replace all the sheet rock up 2 ft from the floor. I thought this was unnecessary as the sludge was only on a small part of the floor and was removed within a few hours.

In addition, they recommended their cameraman come in and take a look to see what other problems there may be in the sewage line.
