Review and analyze now for company A & A Plumbing Heating & Cooling and provide the analysis in the discussed format for the following reviews: '''I had a really difficult problem to solve that another company quoted $8000 to fix. Paul understood the situation with a flawless diagnosis.
and fixed it for 85% less! He went the extra mile in solving the problem. and didn't try to sell me the farm.
I have used A&A Plumbing for my home several times and they are always top notch! This time was no different! We found a leak on Sunday night, made an appointment online for Monday, and by 7:45am on Monday Liz (the dispatcher) let me know that a tech was being dispatched! Dale Moore was my plumber this time, he and his helper were professional, quick and efficient when it came to pinpointing the leak I had, and completing the repair! They even cleaned up the drywall that had to be cut. Overall the service, friendliness and professionalism from everyone at A&A Plumbing makes life just a little easier when you experience these plumbing concerns.
I needed a new water heater and a small leak at the meter. A guy and young woman responded.
They were punctual. He seemed experienced, I don't know enough about plumbing to judge what was said.
The plumber sent me a detailed invoice of what would be fixed. She didn't put the aerator back after checking the water pressure.
Finally, the plumber asked me to sign 3 items on the iPad that look like stuff for financing but had zeroes. This was before I got the estimate.
Not thinking, I signed it. I called the company up and ask them to delete the pictures and signatures.
A woman stated its part of the database now so no. I worry about that.
I couldn't afford to use their plumbing services. We have the monthly subscription for our plumbing which includes routine check ups and no service call fees.
We had a pipe burst that ended up costing us $4k. A&A was fast to come out and get the repair done and even had a payment plan if needed.
They also do military discounts which is very appreciated. We are planning on getting our water heater/softener replaced as well and fully trust A&A to do so Today 5/28/24 we had our electric water heater replaced by A&A Plumbing.
David Smith, a Master Plumber and Evan came out to our house and had to remove our old water heater that was broken. They also had to bring our new one to code.
These two young men are extremely professional and hard working individuals!! I called them our saving angels's It was 115 degrees outside and humid at 2:30pm and these two were digging and working to get our pipes replaced and pressure up to code. I told them they deserve 10 's I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs any kind of plumbing work done in your home.
David and Evan answered all of our questions and were helpful. Thank you both so very much and A & A Plumbing for coming out for the service to our home.
The price was well worth the service Thank you A&A Plumbing for sending out Colin on Monday 12/18/2023. Colin was a total professional and explained that I needed to replaced both of my two outside facets that were leaking.
It was money well spent on solving my facet issues. After a failed attempt of getting Rotorooter out to my new home, I called A&A Plumbing based on their favorable yelp reviews.
I had David Smith & his young apprentice, they were so very polite and diligent. He explained all they were doing thoroughly and fixed the plumbing issue we had.
So far, my water pressure has been TONS better than before. I will use this company again in the future! They are a bit on the expensive side I will say.
But I am hoping the repairs last for years to come and make the expense worth it! I had a tankless hot water heater installed today. The day before I had the company come out give me an estimate.
When I decided to go with a tankless (at the reps recommendation) I was quoted $8600. I almost choked.
When I asked why and what the rates were the rep repeated the price and mention led that tankless systems are very expensive and all the work that needed to be done. I decided to pull the trigger.
Once the item got here, I researched the price of the item...$2100-$2600 depending on where you buy it from. So, labor for a 7.5 hour job was $6,000? When I called the manager and asked for an itemized receipt, they said they don't provide one.
When I asked for the hourly service rate...they said they don't do that either. They just do a flat rate for the job.
Wow. Buyer beware.
I cannot recommend this company and feel it is my responsibility to let potential clients of theirs know how they operate since they are not completely transparent. Very poor company.
I would stay away at all costs. Just in case you're wondering.
The average cost of this unit with installation is between $3500-$5500. Not $8600.
They didn't even offer us a military discount which they advertise. My wife is active duty and I am a 20 year retired Vet.
I made that known a few times...yet, no discount. Update: I left a review on their Facebook page and I noticed it wasn't there when I logged in again.
Weird. So I left another.
Then I noticed that one got deleted and they have blocked me from their page. Any company that silences their clients cannot be trusted as they silence their actual paying customers.
Talk about no transparency. No one is perfect, except Chris and his assistant, who were the perfect match for the job! May 2019, On-Time Elmer had installed three (3) new toilets.
Little did I know, due to misplacement of the flange uneven with the floor, it was leaking in the ceiling until it came through in 2023, The A&A plumber who does checks on my membership had just left and given me a thumbs up on maintenance, but he also noticed the toilets rocked and I may need replacements. I felt something drip, drip on my elbow, "oh no," I thought, this was a result of the plumber unclogging the toilet--not so.
Chris and his assistant arrived with alacrity, and Chris found the source--the incorrect installation of the flange. He cut a hole in the sheet rock in the kitchen ceiling, exposing the leak, which had run down the pipe past the flange, leaving feces residue.
Now don't be too freaked out! It wasn't a deluge! Chris caught it in time to prevent a total disaster! I looked back at my paperwork, and I saw it was On-time Elmer who had installed the toilets. OK, so after it's cleaned and dried up, I want Chris back again to check if they are now installed properly.
On-Time Elmer did come right away when I sent an email to remove the toilet. But now it's sitting in my tub on cardboard.
My insurance company sent Alamo Floors who said they "wiped it off." I am not going to re-install that messy toilet. It's smells.
Who should I call! Chris at A&A Plumbing to install a new one. Whole house replumb.
Used A&A Plumbing due to a glowing review from a friend who is extremely discerning about contracted work. Unfortunately for me, I didn't get the same individual to do the work.
Biggest issue was the lack of respect for our home and treating it like a trash can. Copy and pasted from the email to them regarding issues: 12 cigarette butts found Area behind washer (lines don't allow drywall to sit flush) Area behind master sink, lack of insulation, fixtures are not secure Master closet (non-insulated lines) Area behind refrigerator (lack of insulation, mess) Undersink (Badly mounted fittings) Behind fridge to master toilet (Fitting not secure, no insulation) Guest bathroom mess Guest bathroom non-centered plate Guest bathroom gap under shower faucet Partial insulated lines, didn't clean up in the attic (plastic from insulation, sections of cut PEX, insulation) Lines to shower run backwards (I did say it was okay to 'fix it' like that) Lines mounted in a way that they protrude passed the studs (some cases further out than thickness of drywall) Washing machine hook up backwards When attempting to find a leak from the install, they pried up the AC return grille Scratched a brand new refrigerator by manhandling it instead of adjusting the leveling feet Glass coffee carafe broken in the sink, nothing mentioned For the lines in the attic, I had to go back and re-insulate them as they installed the clamp in the insulation so the lines wouldn't be fully insulated.
Large sections of lines were left uninsulated by the soffit vents causing them freeze over during the last freeze. Most of the issues were addressed that are shown/described only after calling/emailing to point it out.
If you do go with them, make sure they are doing it correct and double check everything they do. If Kyle is still there, ask for him.
As an update to our review regarding A&A Plumbing written on 8/31/22, why would it take a business 2 months to respond and attempt to justify their exorbitant charges. Suffice it to say that their delinquent response validates the very reason we will never use their services again.
In business, honesty, integrity and credibility mean everything ... once it's sacrificed, consumer trust and confidence are lost.
I called A & A plumbing to "replace" the existing water softener with one that I purchased from Lowe's. The issue with the existing softener was that water was constantly draining from the tank.
The plumber came out and gave me 4 quotes: Two (2) separate bids to replace using A & A's softener with a new one; Rebuild the existing unit and; to install the new softener that I purchased from Lowes. The cost to use A & A replacement was much more than what I wanted to spend, so the choice was between rebuild or replace with Lowe's unit.
The plumber said that if it were his home, he would choose to rebuild since the system was better than one that I purchased from Lowe's. The total cost would be less if I opted to go with Lowe's replacement but I decided to go with the plumbers recommendation.
The total cost for the job was $1,745.28. three days later, the softener was draining again, this time worse than before.
I called A & A and they sent the same plumber out. He inspected the unit and discovered that "Clack spacer stack assembly" needed to replaced @ $440.91.
I authorized the repairs since we really needed this fixed. My question was, "why wasn't this checked in the first place and added to the original estimate that would have cost a total of $2,186.19?" The plumber didn't have a good answer...
Had I known the total cost up-front, I would have opted to have the Lowe's unit installed. BUYER BEWARE: The total cost to "rebuild" the existing system bothered me so I decided to look up the costs of the materials - it was $250 on the low end and $400 on the high end.
The plumber spent total of 2 hours here and if you count the time it took to pick up the resin, 3 hours in total. So in essence, I was charged $1,800 for 2-3 hours of work.
This seemed excessive, so I contacted the office and spoke to one of the managers - of course he defended the pricing. So my advice to you is do your homework; don't feel pressured by the plumber; take time and look on the internet the cost of parts and if you feel the charges are excessive, cut your losses and just pay for the service call and ask your friends, relatives and neighbors for a recommended plumber.

From the start of scheduling an appointment with very fast availability and great customer service. Justin Flores arrived and assessed the need for new water heater(old one was 12yr old).
Within a little over 1hr... had a new functioning water heater.
Justin was awesome!!!!!! Very professional and great to work with. Again...
best plumbing services we have used in San Antonio and if ever needed... will definitely use them again.
Thank you for all the help. I can't say enough good things about this company.
This is the third job I've used them for in renovating an old home. Mario was in constant communication and helped in preparing for the fix I needed.
The work was done with ease, with Mario, Chris Green, and Jaysin completing the work. Great help in giving me pricing options and solutions.
Solid company great customer service and work. Once again, A&A was awesome to work with.
From Brandy and April in the office to Chris doing the estimate and Seth doing the work and inspection, everyone was friendly and professional. They showed up when they said they would, texted/emailed ahead, and were very informative and up-front about what the issues were and why/how they needed to be fixed.
They were able to get to the job quickly and get everything done in one day. Highly recommend them and will use them again.
I truly believe that A&A has its customers' best interests in mind and that's been hard to find lately. A & A Plumbing knows what they are doing by putting Kerry at the frontline.
She is efficient, personable, empathetic, and professional. She explained the process and set us up with a same day appointment.
The A & A team wore shoe coverings in our house. They made an assessment and gave us a few options.
They were quick, efficient, and professional. It's all good here.
The technicians are friendly. However, the technicians are very well trained to make customers believe blooming a couple hundred-dollar repair into thousands of dollars large repair is a better option.
The technician tried to steer customer away from a simple repair, by convincing customer an over-haul will solve all current and future issues. No doubt, this large repair will cost almost $10K.
Small repair is certainly not as profitable as a big repair; it is apparent this company prioritizes their interest over customer's. We were not in town when there was an emergency plumbing issue at our home.
A&A Plumbing were quick to respond to our request, provide an estimate, and walk us through the entire process. Their team was highly professional and skilled - they arrived on site with a scope and identified the issue immediately.
They worked around our schedule to expedite the job. The quality of work was top-notch for a fair price.
Customer service from the on-site team and back office was excellent. Thank you so much for your help and service.
Dale was great, went the extra mile. I had tub and sink work and was very pleased with the experience.
Called A&A and they were able to get a plumber out the same day. Service calls are $19.99 Mon-Fri during working hours (I think it's more on nights and weekends) and they are excellent about communication, they send you a text and email with the photo of the plumber who is set up to come to your house.
During these strange COVID times, they were great about screening homes and emphasized the use of protective equipment (including masks and shoe covers) which was a nice addition. They also take pictures of the issue and their work.
I've been so impressed with the communication, I'm sticking with them. I've been looking for a plumber in SA for a long time and I'm glad I finally found them.
ABSOLUTELY the BEST plumbing company in our area (IMHO)! Four years ago, they replaced and upgraded my water heater. I hired a company that asked me for white bread ( Mrs Beards) to help stop the leak...SMH.
HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS LATER, when the meter was replaced, my back spicket leak, turned into a blazing waterfalls! One of my neighbors turned me in to the water company! Not knowing I was already in contact with them! Attempting to rectify the problem! A&A not only took care of my issue AGAIN, but they CARED! TOOK CARE OF ME, and even sent me flowers, because of my health issues! Who does that now a days??? THEY DO! Thank you Terrie and Kyle! Customer for LIFE! Thank you A &A Plumbing for making out to Our rental that had a major leak in the front yard .... Kyle was awesome great service friendly and very knowledgeable ..
I highly recommend this company .. keep Up the great job if I need anything else I will be calling !! Do not use this company, they completely screwed us over.
Sold us a cheap garbage disposal after paying extra for the "top of the line" . It broke after a year.
Extremely rude customer service on the phone and the plumbers. There's so much more but too much to explain here.
There are better companies in SA, any company would be better than this one They looked very professional with their iPad. However they are very young and need more experience.
Easy job, I am sure they will do fine. I didn't hiring them because my job was out of their league.
Jeremy and Chris were amazing - and HONEST - technicians who helped my home get squared away quickly, while providing the upgrades our family absolutely needed. Chris Green was my plumber twice now, and has done a good job.
Quality is good, and they have a very efficient process. Very professional.
Have had two great experiences with A & A Plumbing now. Back in May we had our kitchen sink replaced as well as put in a reverse osmosis drinking water system.
Chris worked efficiently and completed the work same day. The completed job looked great and has been working well ever since.
Unfortunately this month, our main water line broke due to ground shifting. Josh came by same day to diagnosis the problem and help set up what he recommended giving us different estimates depending on the job we wanted to do.
We went the long term route and not only got the main line fixed but replaced our water heater and had it installed in the garage rather than the attic where it originally was. Josh and his team came back the next day and had all the work completed.
Customer service is also top notch and the receptionist was always helpful & polite whenever I called with any questions. Highly recommend! The entire crew at A&A were top notch.
From scheduling to the plumbers, journeymen, and coordinator. They were courteous, professional and neat.
We had a major issue and A&A took fantastic care to get the job done the correct way and in a timely manner! Thanks to the whole team!!! We are grateful to all of you! I had a broken sink and tub shower handle in my guest bathroom. They charged $19.99 for an estimate.
They provided three different option/ estimates after looking at everything in the house but the water heater. They were disappointed that the water heater was barried in the garage behind storage, and said it probably wasn't to code.
The first estimate was for $4,286.01, the second was for $1,410.06, and the third was for $694.63. We decided to go to home depot and follow Stanley's Plumbing Homeowner's Guide, and fix it ourselves.
The really sad part was that we told them we were on a very fixed budget because of the Covid-19 Pandemic. They talked about other repairs that could wait, yet did not tell us what needed to be replaced for our shower/bathroom.
We spent $11.23 on the part at home depot. I had the opportunity to follow up with the owner, who was very receptive to making adjustments and appreciated the feedback.
He takes pride in his performance and works hard to meet his customers needs. It's a difficult time with many adjustments during the Covid Pandemic, and I feel confident that he will evaluate customers feedback to improve his performance and customer service.
I have used this company several times in the past and was very happy with the service and price. A couple of weeks ago I had a toilet removed and a new one installed which cost me 1,095.
This seems a little excessive to me as I did not get a receipt showing how much everything cost including labor , just what was done. I did not even get any paperwork from the toilet they got at lowes telling me what kind of kohler toilet it was and the price.
Great customer service and knowledgeable techs. Ryan was very professional and explained all services to me.
I had a 12ft tunnel under my house and 35 feet of pipe replacement through my yard. The amount of work completed for the price was better than 4 other plumbers I called.
The work was completed in less than 2 weeks. I recommend A&A plumbing and will use their services again.
They have a great team and system going. I appreciate the texts they sent with instructions for covid procedures and I always appreciate it when they send a photo of the technician so I know who to expect.
I ended up not having a plumbing issue and they actually lead me towards the right direction. Great going y'all! Thanks for your excellent service Excellent service from a very professional company.
From the call in to the overall experience in getting our water line replaced. Thanks A&A! I came home to a water heater leak and wanted to make sure I got the right company to take care of the issue.
Justin and his teammate came out early and gave me great options. These guys are all about the customer! I had a new water heater installed in under 2 hours! Called for emergency hot water tank leaking.
Received great customers service from both office staff and plumber. Came same day.
Installed new tank. Very professional Very professional and informative!! I felt like Ryan had my best interest in mind and I appreciate that very much!! Randy & Ryan came to the rescue! I tried to change the cartridge in my tub faucet and did well until I couldn't get out the cartridge.
He said "wow" and got to work. They did a great job-fast, professional & friendly.
If I could give 10 stars I wouldn't hesitate to do so. I will call them for any future plumbing issues- Thank you both for taking such great care of me.
David came by and was very courteous and professional. The initial inspection was thorough and he gave me a good breakdown of what he found and the options for dealing with them.
After I made my decision, he assisted with getting me a time that works for my schedule, even one that was not as convenient for him, this requiring to plumbers to come out to finish as a reasonable hour. When the work was done David and the other plumber were very informative, letting me know what they were doing every step of the way.
This company did an awesome job repairing our kitchen sink and the leaks under it. Very courteous & professional.
No hidden fees. Up front pricing got the job done and we are confident they did an excellent job.
Will call them anytime we need plumbing repairs. After some disappointing trial and error of using other plumbing companies, I can say I've finally found the best.
From poor customer service to pushy recommendations, A&A are my "go-to" plumbers. Their customer service is outstanding and will do their best to accommodate your busy schedule.
They are willing to work with you...their customer. Whatever their service standard is, their staff is definitely living up to it! The last repair was a water heater pipe leak.
The hairline crack was so small it was hard to find the first time around. A few days later I found the leak and they were able to fit me into their schedule to repair the pipe before it caused damage.
I've listed some of my pros/cons of why I would recommend them. Pros: 1.
They arrive on time and in uniform! 2. They send you a text and pic of the repair staff before arrival.
3. They are professionals and know what they're doing.
4. They put on boot covers to protect my carpet.
5. They clean up after themselves.
6. If it's in sight, they'll recommend a fix but will not pressure you.
7. Before they start, they keep you involved of the repair and how they'll go about it.
8. They will not recommend unnecessary repairs.
9. Upfront costs/estimates before they get your permission to start.
10. I've been looking for a company I could trust for my plumbing needs and am content with their services.
11. Each time a different technician arrived, it was consistently the same great service.
Cons: I can't think of one negative thing. Give them a try and you'll see what I mean.
Very happy with their work. Had a simple issue with a non-flushing toilet and I wasn't happy with our previous plumber, who had wasted my Friday waiting for them to call (they never did.) A&A already had very good reviews on Yelp, so I decided to give them a shot.
A&A came out when they said they would, fixed the issue promptly, tested proper function of the problematic toilet, and charged a very reasonable fee. They are now the people to call when we need a plumber in the future.
:-) We had Joey come to do a hydrostatic test (to see if any of the pipes in our foundation were leaking). They had a good price, and it was for the job, not per hour, which I liked.
He was really professional and very nice. He wasn't creepy, and I felt comfortable having him in my home (I've met some weirdos, other women know what I mean).
Here are some of the things I really liked: 1. He put shoe covers on each time he went in the house, and removed them when he went outside.
He went in and out like 20 times, so that was impressive. 2.
I was working from home while he was there and he let me work, only interrupting when necessary. 3.
While the test was running, he did a free home inspection and fixed easy things, like a wiggly toilet seat. He recommended a few things, most of which he said my husband could easily do himself.
The only big thing was our water heater... it's getting dangerously old, which I did not realize.
He wasn't pushy about it at all though, even offering to add the parts it needed to get it to code (which really is pointless since it's so old, but I appreciate the alternative). 4.
He used an iPad to give me instant quotes on the water heater options and emailed them to me. Payment was also done on the iPad.
Nice up to date tech. 5.
They have a membership program where you pay a fee (a hundred and something) and get 15% off everything for a year, plus no service call fees, and 2 free inspection/maintenence visits. With a bug purchase like the water heater it pays for itself.
6. The girl who answers the phone is really friendly and helpful.
The only negative was I waited towards the end of the 4 hour window and that's never fun. Apparently someone's pipes broke or something and they went to see them first.
But at least I know if I ever have a emergency I'll come first, so that ok. All in all I was extremely impressed.
Thanks Yelp for helping me find another great company! My water bill tripled in two months time. I found no water leaks.
Thought I must have had a leak under the slab foundation. Kyle and Kyle came out, saw the water meter was running continuously which is what I reported to them.
They walked through the house to bathrooms and kitchen listening for running water and heard none. They said they would not be able to find and fix the leak without extensive testing, excavating the service line and opening up walls around the house.
Said they would send me an extimate to locate and fix the problem. I complained they did nothing for the $43.00 service fee they wanted.
Kyle#1 said he was waiving the service fee, and left. Received an email estimating $415.98 to excavate and install an isolation valve in service line.
AND if leak was in service line, $2561.21 to replace the line. If the leak was under the slab, the estimate would be $2514.47, and would leave the holes in my walls for me to repair.
I sent them an email saying I couldn't work with open ended estimates, and please call me to discuss it. They have not called and I will not answer when they do.
I got another plumber in, and WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF LISTENING he discovered a toilet was running continuously down the overflow tube. He shut off the water to the toilet, and the water meter instantly stopped turning.
I am sending this to the Better Business Bureau as well as a complaint. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I was disappointed with this company.
Receptionist was friendly and scheduling was easy, but they are quite expensive and the VIP service (preventative maintenance package) left a lot to be desired. To swap out the same model garbage disposal was $235.00 and took the plumber literally ten minutes.
I even kept the same drain ring in the sink. Although the tech seemed knowledgeable, the VIP service was rushed and was little more than a look behind the sinks and flushing of the toilets.
I had a couple of loose faucet handles that probably just needed a screw tightened, but I suppose that's not part of the "VIP" treatment. I was given a partial refund for the VIP service, but had to pay a higher price for the garbage disposal installation as a result.
I highly recommend A and A Plumbing to everyone who needs a great experience with a plumbing company! From the dispatcher to the technician, David, it was a great experience!! David was knowledgable, friendly, and quick in the unclogging of my kitchen sink. This company is awesome! Thank you! It's real hard to judge a plumber based on the one or two services you might need every year or (if you're lucky), every few years.
However, as plumbers go, I was very impressed with the service at A&A. My technician was David, and he was very informative about each job he was doing, explaining how and why each repair was being made.
They were very professional in making sure each new pipe was tested, that nothing was needlessly put at damage risk, and that the work was done in a timely manner. They were able to schedule conveniently, and were very good about calling ahead to let me know when to let them in.
When our shower was repaired, but the pressure valve was still slow and clogged, he was quick to discount the repair. It made repairing the pressure valve seem like a wise decision, but not a sales job, which we appreciated greatly.
Payment is easy by credit card, and they offer a lot of different discounts. I would definitely use their services again.
These guys are professional and courteous. The work they did for me (replaced a small piece of leaking copper pipe) was satisfactory.
The only problem I have with them is the price. When they told me it would cost just under $400 for a job that took less than an hour and required very little materials, I couldn't help but feel like I was overcharged.
I think the problem may be that they use "flat-rate menu pricing" instead of actually considering the amount of work and materials needed for a particular job. That may be beneficial to the customer in some cases, but in mine, I ended up feeling overcharged.
I will likely use them again, but if I get the same overcharged feeling next time, I will likely resume my search for a plumbing company I'd want to have on speed-dial. I was really upset when I was made a fool in front of the whole neighborhood.
The whole front yard was flooded n midst like the swamp... I also think it killed my kitten because I haven't see him in a few days but I hear him meowing...
it's a really sad situation to be honest Ryan and Matt provided exceptional service today when they fixed my sink faucet. I called and was lucky enough to get same day service.
Within minutes I got a text that notified me with the plumbers information and his estimated arrival. Ryan's explanation on my faucet leak was very detailed and he gave me all the facts I needed to decide on how to proceed with the repair.
I would definitely recommend their service to anyone, and when I have another plumbing issue I will be calling A & A. Their service was so great I am considering the VIP program they offer.
Chris and David came out to fox a water line leak in my ceiling. They were respectful and attentive listening to me describe my problem.
They then quickly looked at the situation and proposed a cost to fix the problem. Although the price was high for the time and supplies they did quick work and fixed the problem.
Great service but the price is high for 1 hour total time. Had a backed up sewer line, so after reading good reviews on Yelp decided to call A&A, they did respond quick, that was the good thing, they charge $45 just to show up, $265 to unclog the pipe, after unclogging pipe, they ran a camera and found the pipe had a broken coupling, caused by tree roots, they gave me 2 estimates to replace the pipe, one was for $5200 and one for $3200, which seemed high to me, ended up doing it myself, rented a mini excavator ($200 for a day) and in a few hours replaced the broken coupling, spending a grand total of $225 dollars.
they may be good, but very expensive. First of all, they were here when promised! I loved that they send you a bio of who is coming over prior to their arrival and called ahead of time! Secondly, Ryan was awesome! He gave me options of how I wanted to proceed with the needed repair of my toilet! They (Ryan and his assistant, David) allowed me to choose the best option for my budget with full disclosure of what each option would cost and how long it should last! They did the needed repair very quickly, wore shoe covers, were neat, very friendly and provided DISCOUNTS!! YEAH for discounts! I did not have a plumber prior to this experience, so I looked here on Yelp! Due to the great ratings, I decided to try A&A Plumbing...guess what...they are my new GO-TO plumber! Will ONLY use them from now on! Great customer service at a very fair price!! I live in castle hills and had a broken pipe in back yard that was exposed.
So, no digging necessary. Two plumbers showed up and saw the broken pipe and said, " We can't fix that because we do not ha e a threading machine but, I can rerun the entire waterline in your backyard for you." Rip off artists.
I had another company come and they took out the broken pipe piece and installed a new pipe within 15 minutes. A&A is located on a street called Lookout.
That is exactly what you must do. Lookout for these con artists.
If they show up, they still expect the $45 fee. Even if they cannot fix it.
Watch your jewelry. 2 A&A plumbers came into my house, the next day I went to put on my wedding ring that was in a tray on my bathroom counter was gone.
Great service very fast same day only problem prices hig and they have one price calculated in with service charge so you are not aware of what you are paying for it seemed simple was done in 15 min was told 1hr tech was friendly.. I bit confusing n Because I was to be charged 19.95 and then that deducted would go to balance but the 19.95 was never collected This was probably the best customer service experience I have had in a decade! We were told by 2 other companies we had a major issue with our kitchen line that would cost 10k or more.
Ryan came out, explained everything, was friendly to my dogs and actually showed us that we needed minimal work. And only 300$ later we we had no stoppage and even scheduled for maintenances and other improvements with Ryan since he was so honest and sincere.
I will ONLY call Ryan Huff and A&A for plumbing needs. Thank you soo much y'all for a pleasant and educational experience.
Please use their service, you would never regret it! Only had to wait two days for an appointment. They called the day of to confirm and again 30 minutes before they were to arrive.
They also sent a picture and bio of the plumber that would be coming...David. He arrived in uniform with name tag and shoe covers.
He was very polite, knowledgeable, capable and professional. Got the work done quickly and I didn't feel that the price was too bad especially after the military discount! Would recommend this company/David, and will use them again.
I called A&A because they have a high rating on Yelp. I stated that I needed someone to do a simple solder on a very small pipe.
They sent two people out and I showed them the small area with a small water leak. He said the had to use his ipad to find out how much it cost.
Then he said it would be over $300.00!!!!!! It was only like a five minute job and he wanted so much money. Read Mister C.'s review below, he had the same experience.
David came out to my house to unclog a bathtub. He was extremely friendly and professional.
He walked me through the issue and even gave me some tips on how to most effectively snake a drain in the future. I'll definitely call A & A Plumbing again the next time something goes wrong! Great work and great service! Let me tell you why Ryan H.
and A&A Plumbing will be our sole providers of any service needed: Came home from vacation to see a leak coming through our laundry room ceiling as well as our water softener stuck in service constantly draining. My initial reaction was to run around like Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone.
Called A&A and they sent Ryan out. First, customer service is top notch.
Not only do they stick to their times, they text you with a picture of your technician along with a link to track them. Next, Ryan showed up with Joe to check everything out.
Everything they do is quoted and shown via their iPad. All pricing and services.
Well bad news is my Master Bathroom flange was broken causing the leak. Good news is Ryan saved the day and explained what happened and what needed to happen.
The water softener was a Kenmore UltraSoft 275 and beyond repair. Ryan showed me options and was not pushy.
He said I could go to Home Depot and grab a softener off the shelf and install it, or have them put a system in. Explained the pros and cons of each without being biased.
He really puts the ball in your court while making professional recommendations. Ryan and Joe left with the intention of coming back for the toilet flange fix later in the week.
I called A&A back and said I'd like to do the water softener as well. "Not a problem, we'll take care of it" was the response from dispatch.
I cannot emphasize how customer service oriented this company is. Thank you, please, may I, etc.
They are just complete professionals. Now, we weren't planning on replacing the water softener at the same time, but they really do have great pricing.
That on top of having a real system in place versus a throwaway softener in place made the decision easier. Two days later Ryan and Joe show up right away per our appointment.
Joe immediately started work on my toilet flange while Ryan replaced the softener. My old softener was put in as if I (minimal to zero experience) installed it.
Ryan reworked the valves and pipes and it now looks like it's part of the house instead of some haphazard addition. Joe knocked out the new flange and everything was cleaned up.
Ryan debriefed me on everything and what was next. Explained and pointed out potential issues that may arise that they saw when working.
Not plumbing issues, but when I redo to master bathroom, I'd need to replace the subfloor due to water damage, etc. Ryan immediately set up an appointment to come out in two weeks to make any adjustments to the softener if needed.
Awesome! I have other things that need to be done and am excited to have someone that can take care of it quickly, professionally, and at a great price. My experience echoes many of the reviews and I stand by this being a 5 Star company.
It is so often we feel we get 'taken' when plumbing problems arise. A&A Plumbing is what companies should strive to be like.
They keep you informed without feeling dumb. Everything is competitively priced and their #1 goal is your satisfaction.
Although I do not want any emergencies or issues to come up, but if they do, I know who's number is saved in my contacts. We had a leak on our shower dial that we had overlooked for a bit.
It started leaking behind the wall and into the first floor kitchen. Not fun! Searched online and found many great reviews for this company.
Of course, a little wary since we'd been burned before by online reviews, we hoped for the best. It paid off! David arrived promptly after we scheduled on the same day.
I liked that he and his assistant used disposable shoe covers (just an extra courtesy that we appreciated). He diagnosed the problem and told us what needed to be fixed.
He was very honest and explained everything that would be done. He returned after he ordered the necessary parts, again on time, quickly made the repairs and cleaned up dust.
We were beyond impressed! Everything is working with no complaints. His card is stuck on our fridge now :-) many thanks for great customer service and a great job! Just moved into home and was having water pressure issues.
Called A&A plumbing due to proximity and reviews on yelp. I was thinking the worst in that my water pressure regulator had gone bad.
However it was actually am issue with the main water line. Service was great Adamson was great.
Didn't feel like i was being taken advantage of. In short i plan on being a customer for the foreseeable future Showed up on time, and got the job done quickly.
Kyle fixed the high pressure value and leak that was turning our yard into a muddy mess. Saved us over a holiday weekend.
Would definitely use them again! I chose A&A Plumbing based on their 5 * rating on Yelp. They performed above and beyond my expectations.
Ryan showed up as scheduled with my 30 minute advance notification. I appreciate A&A's practice of sending a photo and bio before dispatching their plumber.
Ryan quickly identified the core issue of many of the problems as my dead water softener pushing media into the water lines. He discussed my options and his proposed solutions.
I believe the quote of all the work to be done was quite fair. I will use them for all my future plumbing needs and have talked them up to friends.
Absolute top notch service! Unbelievably fantastic service! We moved into a 1940's home today (a Sunday) and while installing our washer, a water pipe cracked. This meant we had to turn the water off to the house, a very concerning situation given we would not be able to shower in the morning to get ready for work.
We called A&A and within less than 45 minutes, Patrick arrived at our doorstep. Patrick was on call and was on his way to dinner with his family but you would have never guessed we had interrupted his plans.
He was extremely courteous and completed the work with the utmost care. We were back up and running and back to our move-in with no additional care.
Patrick could not have been nicer or done a better job. We were extremely impressed and hope that if you call A&A, Patrick gets assigned to your job! Thanks Patrick and A&A! Great response time.
They weren't like the other plumber we had who basically came, looked at our connection without checking for PSI, etc then charging us $65 for a dispatch fee! Adamson was great and installed our water softener in less then 2hrs. Seems like a very dependable company.
My dad called them to their house this morning. Last night we noticed a leak in the pipe at the front of my parents' house.
Based on the good reviews on yelp, I told my dad to call this company. They didn't disappoint.
They said they would be out within 1 1/2 to 2 hours. They arrived as expected.
They quickly fixed the issue as well as a water pressure issue that my parents have been having. Which they were previously told by another company that it was common in there area.
We are grateful for the good work, good timing and additional fix to my parents plumbing at their house. Definitely will call them again if needed.
Thanks so much! A BIG thank you to Ryan H and David for testing my gas lines, fixing a small leak and installing some safety features to my water heater! We will sleep much better starting tonight knowing they checked everything out. They answered all my concerns and questions and explained everything along the way.
At'a Boy!! These folks are great! Even when you don't know what your looking for or need they understand! Go to for my plumbing needs! A & A Plumbing was fantastic! I actually called several plumbing companies before them (not having a clue about good plumbers in town), and no one was able to come out the same evening to fix my faucet that would not stop spewing water. A & A not only sent someone to my house within 2 hours, the gentleman they sent (Joey) was polite, professional, and quickly fixed the problem.
I now know exactly who to call for future problems! Called about having plumbing done to facilitate plumbing to install a dishwasher and was told they were too busy right now. I do not post often but had to speak up for A & A Plumbing.
They completed plumbing for my bathroom renovation. Joey, the technician did an excellent job with changing the plumbing from standard builder grade tub and faucet to a claw foot tub and deck mount faucet.
Now the pipes are coming out of the floor. His expertise on exposed pipe rain shower fixtures showed in the excellent installation of it.
I could not be more pleased with this company. Very professional and neat.
Always kept me informed on the progress and any issues. No surprises or additional costs.
Bid was right on the money. AWESOME job!!! They will always be my choice for any plumbing needs.
Very pleased with A&A Plumbing and David E. We needed a plumber for work with our kitchen remodel.
David E came out and got the job done in a timely manner. He was very informative and professional.
He explained everything and was very friendly. The prices were reasonable and they offer a military discount.
Definitely will use them for all my future plumbing needs in the future. Highly recommended.
Patrick S. was very professional and courteous.
He answered all my questions and repaired my clogged reverse osmosis water line in a reasonable timeframe. I highly recommend A&A Plumbing and if your able to request Patrick S.
Please do so you will not be disappointed. Great service without a doubt.
I am a Selma home owner and I was thinking about doing a project that required some professional help so I called them out to give me an estimate on a small job. Other companies had wanted to charge me $50 to $75 for the service calls just to do an estimate.
Well they only charged me $19.99 and not only did I get a very very fair price on the job. The plumber, David G.
was extremely helpful with giving me advice and ideas on the project I was looking to tackle ahead. I shared with him my previous experience I had with a local San Antonio plumbing company, 'Immediate Response' and how they tried to steal $5200 from me for a job that didn't even need to be done.
He said that Immediate Response is notorious for such actions. Well after today folks.
I am not Kidding you that you should really consider calling A&A plumbing out 1st before the others. They are here to help YOU, where many others no longer do so! Patrick was timely and extremely professional.
He listened to the problem, provided a couple of options that would rectify the issue and resolved my plumbing issue all within a short amount of time. My overall experience with A&A - from scheduling to resolution - was excellent.
The minute I had an issue with the scheduling, a brief conversation with the manager occurred and all was resolved. Thank you! David and Matt saved the day!!!!! There was a leak at my parents home in San Antonio and no water in the home.
A plumber was called out to fix it. LONG story made VERY short, I ended up "firing" that plumber and called A & A Plumbing.
From the moment Kerry (Customer Service Rep) answered the phone and I explained the situation I was immediately relieved. A & A was EXCELLENT at communicating with when they were coming out and followed through with exactly what they said! So happy that I choose A & A Plumbing, they literally saved the day!'''.
