Review and analyze now for company NTX Plumbing & Air and provide the analysis in the discussed format for the following reviews: '''I recently had the pleasure of having Jose visit my home to service my AC unit. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.
Jose arrived promptly at the scheduled time, which was a great start. He was very professional and courteous, taking the time to explain the process before beginning the work.
He first cleaned the air conditioning unit thoroughly, ensuring that all dust and debris were removed. After cleaning, he recharged the coolant in the system.
He explained the importance of this step and how it would help maintain the unit's performance during the hot summer months. Throughout the visit, he was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions patiently.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the service provided. Jose's professionalism, expertise, and friendly demeanor made the entire process stress-free.
I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of air conditioning maintenance or repair. During AC inspection the technician noticed my water heater was leaking outside the drain pan.
my biggest worry was a water leak in the attic above the second floor. Contacted NTX Plumbing and reviewed my options ( my water heaters were 4 years old) after reviewing my options we decided to go tankless.
Basically removing the water heater from the from the 2nd floor attic. Installed a tankless water heater in the first floor attic and halo water whole house water filtration system.
Big investment in our home but we have peace of mind that we are better protected and can drink directly out of the faucet with confidence of good clean water. Thank you NTX for all the hard work!! I highly recommend NTX plumbing.
Some time after their install, the wooden 2x4 that they used to mount the water heater detached from the wall. (Not sure how long since we don't go into the water heater closet very often.) Left side was screwed into drywall, and the right side was screwed into a stud.
(There's another stud about 14 inches to the right of the board that they could have attached to, but for some reason didn't.) I called NTXPlumbing and told their employee about the issue, and he said it didn't sound like a "repair issue" because the unit was still working, but that someone would get back to me. I waited a few weeks, and then sent a follow up email.
I received a response that evening from Mai that said: "Thank you for sending this email. We will review and get back to you as soon as possible.
" I'm not sure what they are reviewing, but it's been another week with no contact from them. I'm guessing they are just hoping that if they ignore their customer, that maybe the problem will go away.
I'd recommend finding another company who won't ghost you when their's a quality issue with their install. For what it's worth, the Navien tankless unit has been great.
After multiple attempts, NTX does not respond to your requests - they promised to have a service manager call me every day for the last 5 days. No one has called us back yet.
Like their service when they came out to fix our water leak, but there was an issue later with the same line. We requested to look a second look and they have not responded.
The service line is willing to charge me to send out the tech again - but I want assurance I will not pay if the issue was with the repair. Hopefully this review gets their attention, so that someone will finally contact us.
12/28/23 - BAD Experience. Gas leak detected outside house 7:30am.
Called Atmos. Svc tech arrives promptly at 8:30, pressure tests line.
No leak from alley to house; very slight leak inside house lines detected. Atmos tech disconnects svc.
at alley meter. Call plumber - NTX.
Respond quickly with tech . Kudos.
Nice capable guy who performs pressure tests; finds leak in flex line over garage attic and in garage wall - leading to outside gas grill. Cuts hole inside garage wall to access flex line connections.
Both connections in flex line leaking - in attic and in garage wall. Simple fix needed to replace the connections.
BUT says that per his company policy- and reinforced by his supervisor in phone call to him - that (1) they MUST pull a permit with City of Plano, and (2) MUST install 5 "drain legs" - 1 each on 2 HWH's, and 3 furnaces. I checked with our regular plumber (who was unavailable) and also with COP inspections - NO PERMIT NOR DRAIN LEGS NEEDED .
So why include the extra cost for them if not needed or required?? I asked tech to do the simple connection repairs so we can call Atmos back to turn on gas=heat. (High today to be 46f!!) He said he can't - his boss pulled him from the job since I won't agree to pay the extra cost for the unnecessary permit and 5 "drain legs".
Hmm. So not happy with this company's policy to bill for unnecessary work and then walk off the job when I refused to accept those additional and un-needed items.
Jose was great!! He has serviced our house several times and has always been thorough, professional and goes above and beyond in taking pictures and documentation of our plumbing issues. Would recommend him and NTX Plumbing and Air! My landlord used this company to fix a leaking toilet, some water cloudiness, and some water pressure issues.
Scheduling was pleasant and easy. The plumber came right on time, and although some things couldn't be fixed without major work, I appreciated how the plumber explained everything and even fixed some items I failed to mention.
They worked hard and were transparent through it all. I would recommend NTX Plumbing, for sure.
I was referred to NTX plumbing by my long time plumber who has retired. Unfortunately, they were nothing like him.
What should have been a simple call out to investigate a slow drain/replace a kitchen faucet was upcharged up to $400. Lesson learned, I will not rely solely on recommendations, and always get an exact price quote up front.
They charged a "flat rate" on the faucet replacement of $250. They then charged me $60 material cost on new shut off valves.
I looked online, and I can buy the same shut off valves for $4 a piece at a home depot (as a consumer before contractor discounts). They also charged me separately $10 for plumbing tape/putty.
They also charged me $55 to "clean out the PVC pipe". Mind you this was not replacing PVC piping, it was literally 30 seconds of them cleaning out the existing piping.
So for less than 90 minutes of repair work, the total bill came out to $400. I tried calling into the office to talk with someone prior to posting, and was told someone would call me right back, but that hasn't happened.
I'm all for paying a fair price for expertise, but I was nickel and dimed for $150 on top of an already expensive rate. I wouldn't trust their quotes - they're going to upcharge you like they did me.
Hope you all can learn from my mistakes. NTX plumbing was amazing in responding to my mom's plumbing issue.
It's always a challenge trying to coordinate work when you don't live in the area but they made the process so easy. They were super quick to respond.
Bonus points in that the office manager spoke Vietnamese so she could coordinate directly with my mom. My mom was so happy with their work, she had them come back to install a hose bib.
A+ experience!!!! We used these guys to make some repairs on our house as we are selling it. Ricky showed up on time, I received a text letting me know when he would be arriving.
He took care of everything on my list and was so nice about everything. I would highly recommend NTX and we will use them again if we have a plumbing issue.
I did not have a good experience with NTX plumbing. There was a major water leak on my rental property and the situation was extremely emergent.
I looked up on yelp and NTX has all five star reviews so I believe they are as advertised to be reliable and trust worthy. I called and asked if they have someone available to come and fix the leak immediately.
The receptionist who picked up the phone was nice and prompt, she asked if I needed someone to go there to fix the issue or if I only wanted a quote, I responded and asked her to send someone to fix the leak since it's coming out like waterfall. So she quickly scheduled me with a plumber and said that he will arrive within 15-30min.
I was asked to be present at the property when the plumber arrives, since I'm the landlord, I got off the phone, left my work, and started heading over there, didn't see any one showing up after I have driven 20min to arrive at the rental house and I waited another 30min to finally get someone to show up. The guy showed up, he was able to find the leak but he refused to fix the leak(what?!) he said that he was only told to show up and give a bid, he then said we would have to wait another three days until they can come back to fix it and it would cost $750 to fix it, on top of a $49 fee which I didn't even know about.
So, there I was charged $49 for nothing, and the water was still coming out like water fall after the guy had left. I'm not happy with this service at all, NTX plumbing had promised to come out and fix the water leak but has not delivered the service I had requested.
Later that evening I had the leak fixed by another plumbing company for only $200 (+1 (972) 987-7555 Frank, he is professional and truly reliable) It was a emergent matter, I should have been more careful with businesses out there and not trust a random company only by looking at how many stars they have. I wish NTX plumbing would've been honest with me and had refused my service request if they knew they weren't going to be able to fix it immediately.
I have been trying to call ntx plumbing but they wouldn't pick up the phone, as if they knew exactly why they won't pick up the phone. I would really like to get a hold of them and get my $49 back.
Until then I will no recommend NTX plumbing to anyone. Unless you want to spend lots of money for something that could be fixed for way less.
Our family have used NTX for well over a decade now, for our residential and rental property. Trusted and professional with their craftsmanship and prompt response to our needs.
We will remain loyal customers for years to come! Thank you for all you do NTX! NTX left me hanging with a half-finished job. I won't be using them again.
I was referred to them by a contractor that I respect so I thought I'd give them a try. Long story short they came out, gave me an estimate and we scheduled a date to do the work.
One week prior to the job I provided them with the manufacturers installation instructions because every water filtration system is a bit different. NTX didn't bother to view the information.
Half way through the job I realized that the installation was going all wrong. The plumber said he's order the part and finish the job ASAP.
One week passed and I got no updates so I followed up and the message I got was "sorry we can't finish your job". Discussed problem with phone person who was very nice and positive.
(At: N TX PLUMBERS???) Explained the problem and they accepted the job. Refused to work on my copper drain line after arriving much later than the promised time.
This was a copper a/c drain line for condensation. I paid them in full b/c that's what I do.
But, I would never recommend this company ...which was recommended by an a/c company (Rescue Air Heating and Cooling in Richardson TX) that doesn't work on copper drain lines. They were recommended by my morning plumbers, (Dean's Plumbing) that don't do that.
And the A/C people , (Nick's Air Service) that I had out first thing in the morning assured me that it was a job for plumbers. Previous freeze damage on copper pipes was plumbers.
Any answers? Water pouring into all areas leaking through the ceiling. Yard man was the winner of the day, followed by my Junk Haulers who got an oversized fridge through the door in a couple of hours.
Meanwhile nobody has addressed or will address my main problem. How is this ok or legal? Don't people take pride in anything? My yard guy and junk haulers did.
And my neighbor is always great and provided the water cutoff tool so my house didn't flood when they removed the fridge. Tomorrow's another day.
I've had really bad luck with plumbers in the past. Historically plumbers I've used have arrived late, overcharged and under delivered, usually while griping about it the whole time.
Then they leave a mess of water, dust and sludgy yuck in their wake. My AC Contractor (Rescue Air Heating and Cooling - also wonderful!) recommended NTX Plumbing after I told him I was having issues with my washer/dryer plumbing and I was fearful it would interfere with my new AC unit.
I was skeptical at best, but needed someone to come out so I called NTX. They were wonderful! The office staff was knowledgeable and great to work with.
Eric the plumber arrived within about 30 minutes of our call on the Tuesday after the Memorial Day weekend - impressive! He was extremely kind, knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. He explained every issue and every fix to me so I knew what repairs had been completed.
I had called due to a cracked PVC pipe, but he informed me the break came from my foundation shifting and settling over the years. He replaced the Y valve, snaked the main drain, and inserted an easy open valve in case future cleanings are needed.
He took before and after pictures and he vacuumed/cleaned before he left! The cost was much less than I had paid for similar work in the past and he had it all done in about an hour. I plan on using NTX Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs based on this excellent experience! Thank you Mai & Eric! I've seen some longer posts on NTX, so I'll keep mine short and to the point.
They say in times of crisis, true character shines. And this surely is the case with NTX.
It's interesting as I reflect back on why we called NTX. It was Monday, during one of the worst snow storms/cold fronts in 30 years in Dallas, and we were desperate as were most.
Fortunate to have power but no hot water we called NTX. They said they couldn't get to us until Wednesday which we understood for obvious reasons.
Worth noting, and the reason I am posting, they said the "minimum visit charge was $155. We agreed and scheduled.
They did arrive on Wednesday, and as a callout, with only a blow torch. After 5 minutes of applying flames to our cooper pipes they asked if they could borrow a hair dryer, remember this point as I'll close with it, to which we obliged.
20 minutes later after using both the blow torch and hairdryer, they basically said there was nothing more considering our tankless hot water heater is outdoors. Not knowing what more to do, we agreed all else had been attempted.
This is where it gets about as shady as it gets. Then the two plumbers proceed to tell us it is a "minimum visit charge of $500 ", but because of his tenure of at the company he could do $400.
When challenged they proceeded to tell a story of their last visit and how they threated to call the cops for non-payment. I didn't feel like arguing further, and they left while we still didn't have hot water.
In closing I'll call out two things. First, turns out price gouging doesn't apply to plumbers in Texas (shocker....).
Second, hey at least in the event we have another 30 epic year snow storm, the money they ripped me off hopefully buys more hairdryers. I mean, I really tried to keep it short, but these guys are shady.
Cheers to being shady NTX. This rude dismissive person Mai kept talking over me on the phone while I was asking them their course of action today ( after they sent an apprentice out to look at my faulty hot water tub faucet in my master bath, which they did nothing that I hadn't done, did nothing about, and left me with a big running hot water leak for the 3 day weekend ), n I was requesting that a plumber/the owner Scott come out instead of an apprentice.
She then said they did me a "favor" Friday, told me I'm welcome to call another company, and then called me a liar regarding what was or wasn't done, and repeatedly refused to let me even speak with the owner, Scott, who I later discovered is her husband, and hung up on me. I've used this company twice and each time they sent Eric, who was intelligent, honest, punctual and professional n reliable...
I sadly discovered now why he left them. I am Very very disgusted...
I will be reporting them to the better business bureau, TDLR in Austin, and calling NBC 5 consumer division. I wonder if Scott knows how this woman is destroying his business NTX Plumbing On May 1, 2018 our bathroom shower head was leaking caused by our faucets not working properly.
We called in NTX Plumbing, whom we've used before, to fix the leak--(and do other plumbing replacements). We purchased a new shower head and faucets and had those installed.
Everything seemed fine until August 9, 2018 (a little over 3 months later) the shower started leaking again. We had Scott come out to repair it.
He worked on it and said the faucets should no longer leak, so we paid him for his services. Next morning, my husband took a shower and the faucets/shower head starting leaking.
We called NTX and Scott came out on August 14, 1028 and worked on it again. He said grit got into the faucet but that it was fixed and we should no longer have a problem.
Well, next morning my husband, again, took his morning shower and the faucets starting leaking. We called NTX.
Never heard back. On August 15, 2018 I texted NTX.
My response (I'm guessing from Scott's wife Mia) was "Okay lemme discuss with Scott and get back to you." No response after that. On August 17, 20189 I sent another text saying "Any word yet?" The response was they tried to call but it went to voicemail.
I said I never got any message. I was told they'd call me on Monday as their office was closed (it was the weekend by then.
Never heard anything so I sent a long email presenting the problem and asked how we could resolve this. No response.
Seems to me I've gotten the runaround. Never heard anything back.
It's a poor way to handle an issue. Note: As noted above, I tried several times to get NTX to respond to me to fix my shower faucets.
Finally after I posted a negative review on Google, Mia, with NTX, contacted me. It took a bad review to get a response.
But I see another problem, if NTX could not fix the problem after 3 separate visits, can they now fix it? How? Professional and repaired our water heater quickly and professionally. Thankful he was fully masked for covid and cautious in all he did.
I am usually writing about food, beauty, or spas, but I recently had the most wonderful experience with plumbing. My hopefully, one time romantic encounter with plumbing issues.
How did I get here and how I did find these awesome possum people? By WORD OF MOUTH. Even then, being the researcher that I am, I had to check them out on BBB first (you never know okay?), Google, and of course, my trusty Yelp.
They had 3 reviews that were listed and 17 that didn't show up unless you click the read more option. Out of 20 reviews, there was only one highly questionable review.
Eyebrow raising because: 1. She had only one review.
2. She couldn't type a proper sentence despite her acclaimed background.
3. Why would you even hire someone for TWO jobs if you had an issue with them in the first place? Sound judgement must not be there.
4. For being in the state of TEXAS, who has perfect accent English? So much for being diverse and open-minded.
Off my soap opera box I go, but seriously, thanks for reading my rant because I don't understand how people can get away with that stuff. Onto the GOOD STUFF that you came all the way here for: 1.
Word of Mouth 2. Small Local Business 3.
They've been around for roughly 5 years from talking to Scott. 4.
I LOVE the BLUNTNESS and HONESTY - tell me what is really wrong, don't try to sell me more than I need, and gave me a quote that wouldn't break the bank and is surprisingly less than I thought it would cost. (Just to be on the same page, sorry Scott, but I did shop around for price comparison.) 5.
They gave a courtesy call to let me know when they were on the way. 6.
They were very punctual and definitely easy on the eyes. 7.
Cleanliness, OMG, you have no idea how important this is. I don't have to worry about re-mopping everything in my house.
8. Definitely friendly, but extremely professional.
Would I recommend them to someone else? For sure! 5 Star Service for these guys. Efficient and on time (big deal to me).
I've hired them for 3-4 different projects, each time their guys treat us great and offer more than the most expensive option to fix the problem. We used them for leaking, installing a dishwasher, slab leak and most recently a clog in our master drain! Do Not Recommend these plumbers! We did an entire house remodel and love all of other contractors and I have been a Interior Designer and a Realtor for over a decade so have lots of experience on remodels and working with contractors this guy was the worst! They came out to help us move a gas line 10-15 feet along a wall so they cut thru the sheet rock (ok'd by me)...
then when I did not see this they cut thru 3/4 of the way thru every one of the 2 x 4's of the load bearing wall the entire way thru! They could have drilled a hole thru 2 x 4's and fed the pipe thru it... but they didn't.
We hired someone else to come back and brace the entire load bearing wall with heavy braces on every single 2 x 4. :-( They were installing a stand alone bathtub and a trim kit on a shower and the bathtub floor marble box had to be completely re-built and the shower head was wobbley and had to be extended and reinstalled by other plumbers.
They left without even saying "we are done" The assistant that didn't speak good English took my payment on their Ipad" On top of all of this They were late doing the entire job because when I called the office to confirm that the "master plumber" was going to be the one doing the job they said they did not know this and we had to wait a couple more days to get the master plumber so it held up our master bath remodel. $312 to run the snake and unclog the toilet.
Seems a bit much as the plumber was here less than an hour. On a positive note they were able to come out the same day and even gave a courtesy call.
I would get a quote or a few quotes before getting repairs again. I would totally use this company again! My home owners insurance would not cover the leak, because it was on the outside on the sidewalk area...the other plumber wanted to charge us 250.00 to detect the leak...
And $1500 to fix the pipe. Scott knew exactly where the leak was and was not planing to charge us 1500.00 to fix a leak outside of my house...
Which it did not required any drilling on my sidewalk... With out a doubt this is the best plumbing company in town.
Called to have a dishwasher installed. They were prompt and got the job done really quick with no problems.
Also had them do a water heater years ago. I won't call anybody else for my plumbing needs NTX Plumbing came to us as a referral.
We made the mistake of going through our home warranties plumbing companies twice, and since then I've had a sincere distrust in plumbers. They (home warranty plumbers) had told me my pipes were done and I needed to spend $20k-$50k to get them fixed.
After I called NTX in a panic, they said that didn't seem accurate or reasonable, and just told me to keep an eye on the situation and let them know if it happened again. Fast forward to yesterday where my hallway had a minor flood and my laminate floors were buckled and bubbled in several places.
I thought for sure "I have to spend $50k to fix this now". I emailed in to NTX and was responded to almost immediately, and was even scheduled for a same day appointment (what?!?).
Scott showed up and actually knew the background of my situation (unlike the other plumbers who I felt were playing the never ending telephone game with the operator), ruled out our pipes being the issue, and figured out the issue was coming from our AC unit and one of those pipes. He very well could have told me to contact the AC company and his job was done, but he actually snaked the pipe for the AC unit.
While submitting my payment (no where NEAR my thought of $20k-$50k at $210), he took the time to interact with my dogs and son, and then let me know the things to look out for if my pipes do ever start becoming an issue. I've already passed his info to friends and family, and told them I found the "unicorn" of the plumbing world.
Thank you Scott, Mai, and Nancy!!!! I called a plumber out and was charged $750 to do an emergency job. I overpaid by about $700, so this go round, I called these guys, they figured out the problem within minutes, provided a quote, AND told us how to fix it ourselves for cheaper if we wanted to go that route.
After trying many plumbers in the DFW area, I have now found my go-to plumber. Cannot recommend enough!! I used NTX this week to stub out a small bathroom for a garage build project at my home.
They were prompt in coming out and worked with me to discuss my options and tailored the work to what I needed with this project. The crew that did the work were also right on time and very professional.
They talked through what was needed, even helping me make some on the fly adjustments to avoid problems later. The work was completed in one day - tested out perfect - and got the green tag.
Unlike the other bids I was trying to get - which they did not even show up to see me - these guys show up and do the work! I plan to use them for additional work as the project progresses. If I could give them zero stars I would.
I attempted to hire this company for plumbing issues that came about as a result of the extreme cold in Texas. I called on Wednesday 2/17 and scheduled an appointment for Saturday 2/20 between 1pm and 3pm.
I received a call back a few hours after scheduling the appointment. The company was canceling my appointment because, in retrospect they "didn't have time".
The appointment was rescheduled for Monday 2/22. On Friday 2/19, I received the following text message: "Hello! Our schedule is full.
We will not able to provide service next week." Yes, the full schedule should include my appointment. This is the most unprofessional group I have ever dealt with.
I wouldn't contact them again no matter how small the job. After expressing discontent over the missed appointments and the fact that I would post an appropriate review, the plumbing company actually texted the following to me.
" Not a problem! Everyone knows this is a stressful situation and it is sad you have a lack of compassion for the plumbing profession during this time." Apparently NTX Plumbing lacks compassion for the people that attempt to hire them because help is needed. Pass this one up if you are looking for a professional plumber Forgettaboutit...these guys are awesome.
I had a leak in the bathroom that destroyed baseboards and lower portion of surrounding walls. I opened the wall as I thought it was a pipe leak.
I had a plumber come in who spent about 45 minutes looking at the pipes and said that it was a slab leak and I'd need an expert who couldn't be here until 7 days later. Meanwhile, water is leaking in, we are vacuuming every 30 minutes and shutting off main to the house--with 3 girls in the house--i'm fighting a way here!!.
After that plumber left, I'm feeling like a mule kicked me knowing the cost a slab leak is and the destruction to the house it will take to fix. Anyway, called a bunch of leak detection places and one seemed worse than the next (whether it be their pricing or their availability).
I saw NTX on Yelp and the reviews. Called and immediately felt that they were going to be able to help.
Maya (I believe is her name) moved the schedule around on short notice and was able to get 2 plumbers (Scott and Brian) out the house within hours. Scott walked me through every consideration as he analyzed the situation like a detective.
It was actually impressive to watch. Anyway, after going through the different possibilities he determined that it was not a slab leak at all (OH YEAH!!!) but the waste pipe had a small leak from the upstairs bathroom.
My fix went from astronomical slab repair and sonar leak detection, to a PVC waste pipe replacement. Brian and James were back at the house within the hour and fixed it the same day.
I can't tell you how happy we are to have found NTX. The damage this leak caused was bad, but it could have been a lot worse.
Scott, Brian and James got us to resolution quick and at an extremely reasonable price. Finding a straight shooting, honest, professional, talented, trustworthy and methodical master plumber, and team, feels impossible.
We lucked out. I'm relieved that I know who to call anytime we have a plumbing issue--in fact, i'm having them back to do preventative work in all bathrooms as it is that time for this age house.
I called a lot of plumbers for this, and previous jobs, I hope to save any reader some time by recommending you call them first. THANK YOU! If you aren't using NTX plumbing you are not getting the best service and the best plumbers in the business.
Scott & Mai are dedicated to serving their clients daily. Fair pricing, quality work & clean plumbers which is extremely hard to find in this industry.
Thanks to NTX for the dedication to their clients. We have 2 toilets that were running...standard stuff..
probably needed new flappers and valves. Our usual plumbing company was busy with a big job so they recommended NTX.
Super friendly on the phone and very accommodating with a quick appt. Their charge to just diagnose the problem was $154, which I thought an odd number and also steep, but I wanted my toilet fixed asap and they came recommended.
Alex arrived on time and was very nice...and this is when things started to fall apart. He didn't seem confident about how to fix the issue with the toilets.
After a few calls to the supervisor, he arrived at the conclusion that both toilets needed new valves and flappers, but still not 100% sure this would fix it. I could hear the call - there was education on how to tell the brand of the toilet and explaining flappers.
Huh? Really? The supervisor said it would be $425 to complete the job which I thought was outrageously over-priced. I myself have replaced a flapper before and know it is not that difficult.
I called our usual plumber to ask what they would charge - $250ish. I asked Alex to call his boss /owner back to reconsider the exorbitant cost.
Nope, he's sticking with $425. I paid Alex the $154 for his time and sent him on his way.
Hard lesson learned...don't take a recommendation from your plumber. Looks like I'll be watching YouTube videos and getting out my tools.
My experience with NTX was excellent. They were quick to reply, easy to communicate with and kept me informed.
Ricky and Erick (the plumbers) were professional and knowledgeable, reasonably priced and effective. I will not hesitate to call them again or refer them.
Thanks NTX! My sister used NTX plumbing and got a plumber who was so sick he was laid out on her floor complaining he was a sick, cutting holes in the wall that were a mess, and his assistant fell through the ceiling, and proceeded to wander about her home looking as if he was scoping out the place (which has left a very unsettling feeling for her). As a result of the fall, not only did he damage her personal property, but caused another leak damaging the flooring in the home.
The cost was much more than what others in her area, and my area, had paid for similar work, and she got a damaged floor and damaged personal belongings the plumber fell on. The second plumber replaced the shower fixture, putting it in backwards so the cold is hot and the hot is cold and now the hot water has decreased pressure.
Very poor customer service and secretary will not pass along the request to speak to the owner. Called NTX Plumbing for a water leak that caused me to cut off the water to my home.
NTX was out at my home the next morning and they did the job in an hour. They were kind enough to explain the cause and provide me with some tips to save me the headache again.
I don't review much online, but I was compeled to this time. NTX plumbing is our to go plumber! We had a leak in our master bath and in my daughters closet.
I called them and they were to get someone out asap! Great customer service, punctual, and was able to fix the problem! Thanks for your service! Great experience with NTX Plumbing. Fast response scheduling an appointment, prompt arrival and very professional/courteous service by Brian.
When you have to call a plumber these folks have top notch service. Scott was very patient with all the questions i asked over and over.
Good customer service, good reasonable prices and of course good work. Everything is working wonderfully.
I will be looking forward to doing buisiness with this company. Thanks NTX Plumbing! Our water heater went out yesterday.
NTX came out at the end of the day last night and determined we needed a new unit (still under warranty luckily). They showed up promptly this morning with the new unit and had it installed in 90 minutes.
Punctual, professional and affordable. Highly recommend these guys.
They are Wylie based. Scott came through for us getting us scheduled on the same day, when some other companies were booked for days and Jeff was prompt and professional and the install was clean and better than new.
Scott was able to diagnose a leak that a prior plumber charged me $300 to not fix. It turns out it wasn't a plumbing issue, but a downspout problem.
He just charged me the $40 trip charge but didn't try to rip me off like the other guy. I had a toilet overflow problem on Monday and needed help fast.
I called several local plumbers and they all said the same thing that they couldn't come out until the following Monday. Late that night I found NTX's website had a place to request service online.
They called me first thing the next morning and had 2 guys over by noon. Eric knew exactly what needed to be done and replaced a couple parts and explained how to check whether a flapper needed to be replaced.
I checked and sure enough it was time to replace the other one too. An hour later they had both toilets fixed and even added some caulking around the bottom of one toilet.
The guys were extremely polite, knowledgeable, willing to help and didn't waste time since they charge by the hour. NTX did an excellent job at a very reasonable price.
I will definitely call NTX for any future plumbing problems and I highly recommend them. In the middle of an attic flooring project, I noticed that some gas and water lines were dangerously running over the main walkway into the attic.
It seemed hazardous to leave them where I could possibly trip on them, so I gave Scott a call. I sent Scott some photos of the area, and he was able to get to my house two days later (on a Saturday, no less).
When he arrived, we were able to talk about the problem, and I told him what I had in mind. Scott offered a much better (and cheaper) alternative solution to the problem and saved me hundreds of dollars in the process.
The result is perfect, and was cheaper than I expected. He even gave me some free advice about my nearby water heaters.
Thank you, Scott, for taking care of me, despite my unorthodox request. I am so glad I tried NTX after reading a Yelp review.
We have spent so much money with other plumbers over the past couple of years. We have foundation damage and have been told we have a leak but no one can find it.
We gave up on it until recently when our water bill showed our usage had dramatically increased. We thought for sure the slab leak could now be located.
Scott came out and said it was due to a faucet leak that we could fix ourselves. He said we do NOT have a slab leak.
I was a little skeptical. After all, everyone said we had one.
And how could our water usage be so high with a little faucet leak? Well, he was right. We fixed it and the water bill was back to normal.
I was grateful that problem was solved and relieved to know we don't have a slab leak. We still have a foundation to repair, but now we have a plumber we can trust when it comes time to check for possible resulting leaks after the repairs are done.'''.
