I have been a Chorbie customer for years, back when they were Weed Xtinguishers, and have referred several people to use them but I am canceling service as of today. I have weekly mowing service, plus weed & fertilizer service that I pre-pay for totaling over $2100/year at my elderly parents' home.

They have asked the lawn crew many times to please trim the grass pictured below but they were told that is additional service. I called my account manager to see if something could be done and he offered me hourly service at $64/hour.

If the lawn could be done in a half hour this would increase my annual bill by over $1000 to do 2 minutes of additional work because they have rocks around the trees and in front of the house. UPDATE: I received a callback and Jody offered 6 free months of flower bed service after which would be $39.99/month.

So it wouldn't be over $1000/year but only $320 for 8 months of flower bed care that I don't need. Jairo, a Chorbie employee, did a great job mowing our yard for the first time! Estefany Mora, Client Account Manager, relayed my concerns from my previous mowing service and it was perfect! Mowing, edging and blowing off the grass from the walkways and porch was all done impeccably! Looking forward to your services now and in the future! Thanks! I have requested a quote, but the reply is slow anyway.

It's a shame, being a big company makes for a lazy response. Chad Harris is very responsive to my request and does an excellent job.

I highly recommend Chorbie. Thanks! These people were mowing my lawn spring and into summer 2023 but I canceled the service because they repeatedly mowed my St Augustine too short at 1" despite my request for 2.25".

The lawn is in full sun and has been suffering between the sub zero winter weather, high Sumner heat, and drought conditions. The result of excessively close mowing was the exposed sod was getting baked to death in the sun and heat last summer.

No amount of communication could resolve this so their service was canceled. Other than repeatedly ignoring directive for lawn height and killing my lawn they did a decent job of mowing and edging, and did show up reliably.

If you have a sprinkler system and use 10,000 gallons per month or more of water on your front lawn keeping your st Augustine wet it probably will survive their "care", because that was what I had to use in July '23 while giving the grass enough time to grow back enough to shade the soil. Typically, I water conservatively during drought and desire to use a minimum amount of irrigation not a maximum.

Despite canceling their service last July due to this but diligent as they are they came back in March of '24 anyway and NOT at request. So if you engage their service they will show up on stated schedule but you may have a difficult time canceling it as I surely did.

For a lawn service I would expect them to know their grasses and associated maintainance height better. We had been using this service for over a year, and our front yard is in terrible condition now.

The last straw for me was when they ruined the birthday signs I set up today for my daughter's birthday. I spent nearly an hour putting it together, and then I went to pick up the kids from school.

When we got back (in 25 minutes), all the letters were ruined, with half of them on the ground. All I can say is that I was really mad and frustrated.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. Chad and the Chorbie team have gone above and beyond to help us with our services requested! Very on top of their work and they take pride in ensuring the customer service is number one priority! Awesome service! Love their professionalism and dedication to staying on time.

They were quick, fast and the yard looked amazing! Stay away! They were great for several years for us, then they must have new management because the customer service & quality of the service has declined significantly. I called to cancel after 5+ years they were "sad" to see me go then without warning or getting my consent, then they promptly charged my card on file over $400!! There was no mention of this when on the phone to cancel.

I called & I was brushed aside, not able to talk to anyone but a new young person who told me I should call customer service & that I owed that money & basically too bad..... I was sent a FINAL bill & I emailed to put in writing to NOT charge my card again...Then guess what? They had the audacity to charge me another $34!!! WTH?!!! I'm not done dealing with this but you have been warned! I have used Chorbie for weekly lawn service for 4-5 years for my rental property.

Always on time always did an excellent job. My renter just left and the beds were full of weeds.

It was a mess! I called Chorbie frantic to get the yard cleaned up for the new renter. They got me scheduled within a few days.

I was completely dumbfounded at the excellent job they did! Front beds, back beds, under the trees and the side yard. I couldn't find a weed in the whole yard!! I am beyond pleased with the results! Thank you.

I asked about clearing some weeds, planting bushes that I have already purchased and putting down some mulch. Although I only got a quote $129.00 per hour for yard work seems excessive.

The mowing people just rush through your yard. They say they edge & weed wack but they truly don't edge.

I have a little ant hill near sidewalk, if they edged there should have been a cut line in ant hill. But there wasn't.

Plus they don't bag your grass, they just leave clumps of grass on the lawn. They are more about how many lawns they can cut in a day rather than care about your yard.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Now I know why the mowing only cost you 27.88 plus tax's comes out to be $30.10.

I say hire someone who cares about doing the job right, not by how many yards they can cut that day. BUYER BEWARE!!! This has to be by far the worst company to ever step foot on my lawn, back and front.

First off, they left traces of mud all on my drive way, my vehicles have multiple stains of dirt on the rims/wheels. They do not communicate well on the type of services they offer.

For them to advertise great customer service, they surely didn't provide that. My yard looks worst then it previously did and they left all of their trash as if it was our job to fix.

They did not try to make things right, they will blame it on the customer and say it's your fault for the quality of work they provided. Please save yourself the headache, disappointment, and just go find another company to do your lawn work.

They did a good job of communicating with me when they are coming and putting alot of stuff on my lawn . The grass did look good for a while then it didnt and the result was complete replacement of the lawn this year .

A+ service After a year and a half, I have now fired them at 2 locations. They have broken more sprinkler heads than can be imagined.

They leave the notice on the door after they come, but never ring the bell to let you know they have put chemicals on your yard. Not did I get an advanced email notice.

I have to go to a door we never use to find out, after the dogs have been in the back. Lots of other good services to take care of my yard.

Very professional and timely response to my bid request. Knowledgeable and friendly.

Then when you try to call to find out, you speak to a VERY RUDE person named Stephanie who doesn't help, then will just hang the phone up in your face. Worst service I've ever dealt with.

Up until recently I was very happy with my Chorbie experience. I've been a mow, and weed/feed customer for almost 4 years, and had referred several folks to their company over past couple of years.

I can no longer recommend Chorbie and have already canceled the feed and feed service and will be canceling the mow service as well. I informed them about a moth infestation in my front yard that I suspected was armyworms.

A week later my grass started to deteriorate from being lush and green to dying and brown. I contacted them again after confirming armyworms were present using warm soapy water in a couple of isolated areas...

the armyworms popped up in each area indicating an active infestation. After waiting nearly a week with very little response, they indicated that I needed to prove to them my lawn was infested...

but by then it was too late. Almost half my lawn was already damaged...

what a joke. Chorbie has grown too quickly and had lost their customer service.

Too bad, since it was a great company a couple of years ago. I suspect they'll start struggling soon unless they turn it around.

Very good service with consistent and engaged employees. The work is always on time and with high quality.

This is a convenient lawn care and yard maintenance company based in Frisco with a fully integrated web-based service scheduling system that is very responsive but their hourly service billing is [no longer! lol] a crime. Minimum wage in Texas is only $7.25/hour and they quoted $129/hour for a two man team by phone which was then scheduled by their service team for the following week plus.

The crew ended up spending five hours onsite tackling our overgrown bushes and they did a very thorough and complete job. I still consider the final invoice to be somewhat pricy but I'm glad we had the work done and their billing was accurate.

We may end up looking into some DIY trimming workshops to maintain this ourselves but I'm glad we have a good service option to fall back on. They don't pick up the phone.

We left a message and they emailed that they would be at our house on a certain day...did not ask us. In fact, they didn't give us a time either.

We emailed back. No response.

I called several times. No one answered the phone.

Left a VMM. No call back.

Terrible. I want to commend Chad for the great job he did in coordinating everything to get us set up and scheduled for landscaping services.

We felt like he took ownership of our project, answered all of our questions, and we were very pleased with how seamlessly he took care of everything. He asked us smart questions, listened to what we wanted, and made sure it was done.

Each week after he visits, we get specific instructions on watering, etc to maximize the effectiveness of the treatment.

They are a larger lawn company with professional workers, easy to reach customer service and good quality mowing, pest and weed control. Never had any issues with appointments or billing.

They charge a premium price, so you can probably find cheaper service elsewhere, but might be worth the premium if you value good service. I am a current customer and really this company is just okay.

They are better lately than they were when I first started using them. I did a lot of research to try and find a company to take care of my lawn when we moved into the area and ended up choosing this company for lawn maintenance and weed and feed.

The first season using this company, the guys to come and mow were pretty inconsistent. They would come out on the wrong day, miss weeks, etc.

They would also come within an hour after a rain which I don't love because we end up with an inconsistent cut. This summer they run like a clock though and it seems like they just needed time to get us fixed into their rotation maybe? Ultimately, they are affordable compared to their competition and I like that they lower their frequency of mowing on their own based on the time of year.

I do have less weeds in my yard as well even if the nutsedge is out of control which they tell me they can't do anything about. Overall, they are good enough that I wouldn't cancel them, but they aren't so good that someone else couldn't earn my business if they really wanted to.

Hopefully the trend will continue and I will feel even better about them a year from now. After my old lawn company messed up my lawn and provided no help, I switched over to Chorbie on the recommendation of a neighbor using them.

They show up right on time in the morning every week, and their weed/fertilizer treatments are doing great. My lawn went from being tragic looking to completely green and lush.

So far so good! Chorbie did a fantastic job with our front yard flower beds, shrubs, and trees. (This included two spiral-trimmed boxwoods that my wife was very nervous about).

Noah even checked in with us afterward to make sure everything was satisfactory. I forgot to include a bush on the side of our house in the quote request, but the crew trimmed it anyway.

This company used to be great when they were WeedXtinguishers. Since changing to Chorbie I've not only been nickel & dimed to death for every little thing, but the most recent customer service rep Marcela has put a horrible taste in my mouth.

I really almost canceled my service after this last interaction with her, and still might. I need to sleep on it.

Long story short, I requested a change to my service that should have been very simple, but has instead turned into a pain in the a$$ because this customer service rep dropped the ball and then instead of taking responsibility, tried to turn it around on me. Not only that, last summer I had to reach out to them multiple times after the service I was given was just sloppy and inconsistent.

The guy who does my lawn right now does a really great job, but to be honest I HATE dealing with their customer service so much that it's almost not worth it. I work so damn hard for my money, nothing pisses me off more than a company who acts like having your business doesn't matter to them at all.

Very disappointed. I was a longtime customer, going back to WeedXtinguishers.

I was very satisfied with WeedXtinguishers service and quality. Once Chorbie took over various things began to change.

The price increased and the number of yearly treatments increased from 7 to 8 for some unknown reason. I began to notice my lawn did not look as thick or green as it once did but I stayed with Chorbie.

I contacted them on several occasions to ask if they could do something to help my lawn and followed their advice including paying them to aerate my lawn, add peat moss to bare spots, water more often, etc... None of these made a difference and my lawn continued to look worse and worse.

I had numerous brown patches and bare spots all over my lawn where the grass (Bermuda and St Augustine) was once thick and green. After I contacted Chorbie again to voice my concern about the state of my lawn, it took several weeks before they sent a service tech by to look at it and then they bragged about the fact they were not going to charge me to inspect it.

I was informed I might have an irrigation system problem and they could send out their irrigation tech to check it for $129. I was also told they treated my lawn for fungus so that was not one of the contributing factors.

At this point I gave up, canceled my service with Chorbie, treated my lawn for fungus myself since it had brown patches, and changed to a different lawn service company. Boom! In less than two weeks my brown patches began to clear up and the bare spots started to fill back in.

Already it looks SO much better. I told Chrobie they were doing the exact same thing over and over and it was not working.

I can't believe the difference already with service from the new company. I wonder now exactly what it was Chorbie was doing, because it looked like I was about to lose my lawn before I treated it and made the switch.

In summary, I cannot recommend Chorbie for lawn service based on my experience with them over several years. They may offer all of these other services such as plumbing, irrigation systems, Junk removal, gutter cleaning, window washing, tree trimming, holiday lights, etc...

but they have dropped the ball big time with their lawn service. Recommend you look elsewhere for quality lawn service.

They're very reliable - they come mow your lawn on the set schedule/day they say they will. If they can't make it for any reason, they email me immediately with an update, which I appreciate.

A lot of people on my street use various companies, and Chorbie is FAST compared to the rest. It's a big relief to not have the noise last too long.

I sometimes wish they'd leafblow a bit more, but overall it's been fine. I also use them for my weed prevention and fertilizing, which is a separate service/fee.

My yard always looks better than my neighbors', so they are able to keep the weeds in check and my grass greener. I also used to have a small SDS (spring dead spot) and they got that taken care of.

Taylor Garner, the tech, always sends an email after he visits, and I appreciate the tips in it. They tell me how long to run the various types of sprinklers in my yard at different times of the year, give advice on removing (or NOT) weeds, etc.

It's helpful. The only issues I've had have been fairly minor.

The lawn care guys were scuffing my wooden fence door with their weed whacker. I let them know and I haven't seen it get worse or happening again.

Their response was nice, very upset that it had happened, etc. The only other thing is they have portals on their website where you can submit a request for quote - I've notices that sometimes the requests can sort of get lost, so it's usually better to follow up with a phone call to make sure they got the info.

Anyway. I recommend these folks for sure.

Very helpful. Had someone come out for a weeding only service in our flower beds.

They cut down our bushes (which we told them not to do) and instead of weeding just took a blade and cut the weeds down vs. pulling them...

which is an ineffective treatment for weeds as they will just grow back. I'm still waiting to hear back from customer service who seems to be unreachable by both email and phone.

I rarely leave negative reviews but I was frustrated by my experience with the company and want to save others from the hassle of experiencing what i did. I contacted the company 2 weeks ago for their bush and bed service and informed them that we were in need of immediate service.

I filled out the questionnaire and necessary registration and received an email that my service was scheduled for Tuesday 8/24. Shortly after I received another email that it was rescheduled to Wednesday 8/25.

They never came to service the property on 8/25 so I called and was informed it had been moved to Friday 8/27 with no notification sent to me. The agent also promised that it would be done on Friday when I complained about the delay/poor communication.

Well it was not done on Friday 8/25 and when i called I was informed it was moved to today 8/30 again with no notification. The agent also promised to look into what happened but I never got a call back.

Only for me to call today to ask when the service would be performed and was informed that it was rescheduled and they could not give a specific date this week due to their busy schedule. I have used several lawn care services in the past but I never got a chance to evaluate their work as I had to cancel and look for alternative service.

Booking an initial service should not be this problematic and the company should communicate changes in service dates to their customers in a timely manner when it needs to be changed. I have been a custom mer fir more than a year.

I have three neighbors that have gone with this service also. I needed them to come spray for army worms.

Called them early when they opened. I called them three times...

I was desperate for the spray treatment. No Mgr has called me! I asked for what the schedules were this year and what they used on our different types of treatments so far.

Chorbie has let me down! Charged me over$400 dollars for leaf cleanup for a small backyard with one tree. They never responded when I tried to remedy the issue.

Then threatened a mechanic's lean because I hadn't paid. Poor business practice.

We lost the man who always cut our lawn when we moved, and I was nervous to switch to someone new after 12 years, BUT chorbie made the switch so easy! They show up on time, do a great job and are very professional. If you need a quality company, this is it! So far, Chorbie has done a wonderful job keeping my lawn looking nice.

I really appreciate the convenience of automatic payments as well. I have been using Chorbie for lawn care and pest control for the 2020, and they have been absolutely great.

The lawn looks better than ever. Their prices are very reasonable, and the service is the best we have received (always punctual, explanation of services to be completed, emails after services are completed with details of the service and picture of closed/secure gate, explanation, etc.).

I decided to use them for additional tree trimming services as well as the removal of a couple of Junipers. Jeremy Lowe came out to do the estimate and was very helpful and knowledgeable.

I'm counting on the results being just as positive. This past week I had my front yard core aerated.

The Chorbie worker did a good job, but inevitably hit a sprinkler head. Today Matt from Chorbie came out to repair the sprinkler head.

He was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. When he saw another sprinkler head that was damaged, probably not by the core aeration, he offered to fix it at no charge.

Chorbie and Matt are top notch! Michayla and the Lawn Team are awesome! I reached out regarding some issues I am experiencing in my lawn and I was provided with great feedback in a very timely manner. I feel like the company truly cares about making sure you receive thorough advice and options that can improve the overall lawn.

I highly recommend! I sent an email for lawn care and never got a response. Not sure how many stars to give since I really can't evaluate their service! Makes me skeptical.

Update: They responded and then gave excellent service! It used to be Weed Xtinguishers during its golden years, when professionalism, courtesy, and customer-focus was their mission objective and uniqueness. As a customer of fertilization and weed control, quality and responsiveness were evident, even though not perfect.

But then they decided to found Chorbie, started focusing more on expansion, profit maximization, and all the core strengths that made Weed Xtinguishers great started fading out week after week. It all started with the price increase, which was nominal but still the highest in the type of fertilization service in the area.

Then the quality of results began declining. Now they are at a point, where they barely find techs to respond to your re-service requests, in time.

They have forgotten to "underpromise but over-deliver." Customer satisfaction and quality is a secondary goal if the time and resource are available, but the main is to bring in new customer, more revenue. To be honest, I have never been completely satisfied with the fertilization and weed control as a service, but was more with them, about their "online payment setup, advance email/text alert" system.

My neighbors all have better-looking yards with the same type of service with different vendors. I just don't like putting money under mats and surprise visits.

So, that had been the only reason I have stayed with them for so many years. But results of the spray/service have been sub-par.

So, I don't recommend it, if you are really looking for results. But if you want something that takes online payments and sends you alerts, look no further, you have reached the right business.

*Update: I left a voicemail with complaint and within minutes David followed up with apology and personally showed up at the house to ensure the service exceeds our expectations. Jeremy here replied in public, as you can see, he owned the responsibility and vowed to make it right.

This speaks of this firm's integrity and delivering white-glove customer service. Things may happen every now and then as its a service industry but customer-focused businesses take the ownership, accept the responsibility, and then make it right.

We hired your team to mow our parents lawn and give us back time on the weekends and keep up with HOA lawn requirements. How disappointed that of the 4 or so visits, my Mom has to check to make sure the lawn is fully cut and call to have it redone.

And last week, I had to take pictures of the mohawk lines where grass is obviously not cut...cutting a yard so small shouldn't need to be babysat by senior citizens or my family. On Monday this week I called for the third time and was reassured on the phone and also in email that today's Friday service would be monitored for QA.

And? No one showed up to cut the lawn today...and it isn't raining. Cancelling and fully expect a credit for today and last weeks service.

my wife and I just narrowly avoided a collision by one of their trucks In Carrollton, TX a few minutes ag. the driver ran a stop sign then sped off and by that I mean the posted speed limit is 30 mph he/she was traveling in access of 40mph.

I never got a reply so 20 days later I followed up asking what the status was.

I was told that due to my review they had "understandably assumed" I wouldn't be interested in doing further business with them. If I hadn't been interested, I wouldn't have asked for a quote.

Due to such passive aggressive behavior toward a customer giving an honest review, I guess I'll need to find a new Christmas light installer. They apparently don't want to have to deal with me anymore.

The customer service sucks at communicating at this company. They get appointment times wrong, communicate wrong things to their crews, and even incorrectly charge for services I never got.

For example, they lied on the phone once about fertilizing during a past visit when the tech clearly told me at the time that he was only doing weed control. Another time, a mower did not bag my grass but their office still charged me for that afterwards.

I told their office before the mow, after the mow, and then after the incorrect charge. It took three weeks to get them to credit the incorrect charge back after it went through their "Review team." Thats laughable.

This is just a sampling of their annoyances. Its very tiring to address all the time.

There seems to be a major disconnect with their office people and field people. I would say the office uses a bad system bc they constantly make errors.

I need a company that I can put into motion and not hold by the hand. I cancelled services with them bc I had to call them like 7-8 times over 2 months to clarify issues.

I just don't have the time. Really bad communicators.

They make it a point to use memorized lingo after every single sentence..."I'm so sorry, we are committed to serving you." Its so annoying after every sentence. It truly becomes so disingenuous and fake, especially when they don't follow through.

Yesterday was the final straw. Their mowers, for some reason, leave my grass too long that by the time they are back a week later (I got the weekly service), my grass is over a foot long.

I called a couple of times to complain about the mowers not mowing properly. But that's not why I terminated their service yesterday.

Yesterday, it was going on 6pm and no mowers. They come on Wednesdays.

So I called the office to ask where they were. I was told that the mowers skipped my house because of dogs in the yard.

I told them my dogs are indoor dogs. They are spoiled and pampered.

They don't roam out in the yard. Then she said, "oh, the mowers said it's because of too much dog waste." I said, nice try.

I pick them up every morning, before they come. She said they have photos.

I said, show me the photos because I already knew someone was lying and it was not me. Then I told her that I have cameras surrounding the entire house and it records activities, 24/7.

The cameras would have picked up any activity as soon as it's in front of my driveway. Then I told her to show me their photos of dog waste because my cameras never even showed them entering the back yard where I also have cameras.

Then she said, ok, I will send them out tomorrow, which was not the scheduled service, but because she ran out of lies. I told them never to come back.

I've had it with this company. They not only offer poor service, they are also LIARS.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I was interested in trying this company out but instead of working for my business they sent me questionnaires for me to respond too which would honestly take up too much time I've used Chorbie for over 4 years now and absolutely love the service. Richard is the tech who comes to our home and does an exception job.

He's very knowledgeable when I have questions and take the time to ensure our lawn is well taken care of. I absolutely recommend Richard and the Chorbie team for your fertilizer/lawn maintenance needs.

These guys are fantastic!! They do an amazing job on the lawn, and I love that I can setup my payment online and get email confirmation every time they come out. Much easier than writing a check and tucking it somewhere for someone to pick up.

They also offer mulch, weed pulling, tree/bush trimming, and can apparently even plant your flowers if you buy them! I bought my house last year and was so glad to find them for my huge yard. Now that they've expanded their services to cover all kinds of home stuff, I'm excited to continue using them.

Their customer service is top notch, they reply SO FAST when you need help, and I appreciate that they always have quality people doing the work. One guy even helped me chase down my dog when she got out because I didn't realize they were here! Bonus? If you have dogs they have a partner that will pick up the poop from your yard the day before they mow! Perfect!! I am really impressed with Chorbie so far! They have been very detailed with their messages, explaining what they will be doing to kill my weeds and even sent a detailed email with a report of what they did after they came to service my yard.

Their tech Jacob L. was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful! I have been a client of Chorbie's for over 2 years.

Their teams are always very polite, professional, and they do great work. The landscape and lawnwork they provided for me exceeded my expectations and looks amazing! I had neighbors stopping by asking who was doing the work so they can inquire as well.

However, they went back in March at the start of their season, and billed be for service. I contacted them regarding this, and confirmed cancellation yet again.

A refund check was in the mail, however my bank refuses to accept its an actual check. Now they mowed AGAIN, so I now I'm furiously frustrated.

Cannot praise them enough We've been using Chorbie's services for about two years now and have had a great experience and especially with our most recent technician, Taylor. She's left detailed notes for us and recommendations on how to improve our lawn.

We've only used them lawn fertilization/aeration services but are very aware of the other services they offer and will likely utilize those in the near future. The Flower Mound team must be different than the team everyone else gets - they showed up one week and did the job.

The second week, they didn't ever appear. I called; the support staff was polite and helpful and apologetic and swore it would be rectified ASAP the next day.

If anyone showed up the next day, they did an impressively lousy job. The next morning, I sent images of the un-edged driveway, the tall grass in the side yard, and the wholly untouched backyard.

Later that day, a guy in a busted-up red truck (not the cute little logoed one shown in the photos) rolls up, weed whacks the very tall grass in the side yard, and proceeds to close my back gate (I guess to prove he was there?). I was on the phone in the house while he was working - maybe a total of 5 minutes.

Maybe. And never set foot in the backyard.

The un-mowed backyard. Additionally, I never received any emails work was complete or pictures of the job done, which I was supposedly going to get after each mow.

The only email I ever got was 'Your Invoice Is Overdue!' for the service that I never actually received. No wait - I did get one email that said 'Pictures Attached!'.

There were no pictures attached. Probably because nothing was done to photograph.

Legitimately astounded at how bad every facet of that was. Seems like the crew in some other towns has a high standard and commitment to excellence ...

meanwhile, in Flower Mound, we must get the b-team. Very happy with service and customer service! Yard looked great and price was very reasonable.

I hired them to mow my lawn and bag the grass. Well, they didn't bag the grass so I complained.

Then they started mowing the yard with the bagging attachment, but with the side chute open on the lawn mower so that some grass went into the bag but most of it went out the side. This seems dishonest to me.

Chorbie saved my yard! When I moved into my house 3 years ago, all my yard consisted of was dirt and random patches of weed. They came through with their promise to bring it back to life, and now my yard is the most beautiful of all the houses in my neighborhood.

poured some type of dry drain cleaner into the drain followed by hot water and said that should clear it. The first time he ran the washer "small load" no back up.

The second time there was a back up and overflow that he told me about but left water on the floor and under the dryer. It was an extreme amount of water that actually caused my carpet to get wet.

After talking to Jon I was told I needed a drain clean out which I purchased for a little under $500. He never tried to remove the clog from the drain.

Said if the drain cleaner he used didn't work it had to be the washer. Said my "new" washer was just too powerful for my old 1.5 inch pipes.

That I needed to purchase a smaller washer that wasn't a "high efficiency" or upgrade my pipes to 2 inch PVC pipes which is the current standard. ($11,000+).

My current washer is larger than the previous one, but it seemed strange to me, because I've had this current machine since November. In April I needed a repair and the appliance repairman informed me that he heard some type of "catch" when the washer was draining, which probably meant there was a clog somewhere.

I had it checked and was told it was working fine. Again F6 plumbing via American home shield.

I purchased a new washer then decided to cancel it and have AirCo out. Well AirCo plumbing just left and the pictures below show what was clogging up my drain pipe.

PLEASE before using them, get a second opinion/quote, your pocket book will thank you. I asked 2 different people there if there is any way my leaking pipe could be fixed any cheaper, that I did not have an extra $1,200 to fix it right now.

They told me NO, and offered me a financing plan instead. I called a different company, for a second opinion, they were able to fix my pipe right then, when they just came out to look at it, in less then 20 mins.

(it wasn't even the pipe, it was the fitting to the pipe that was leaking).. cost me only $275..

F6 Plumbing wanted to charge me $1,175 to fix a simple 15-30 min job... Please be smart about choosing who you use to fix things you don't know much about.

The first time the repair person came out He had terrilble body ordor that made it almost impossible toengage hime. The plumbing matter was not resolved due to needing to order an additonal faucet.

This took 3 months toget a return visit only for them to return same guy same ordor the faucet was the incorrect faucet. We called and called the company and the representatives were rude and defensive.

Another company, assigned by my home warranty company, had originally not been able to fix the plumbing issue I had; F6 was reassigned the claim and Danny and Crow undertook the repair and made sure the fix was done correctly while maintaining a professional attitude and demeanor.

Great job!!! These plumbers are the BEST! My double vanity was clogged and the previous company was unable to get to it so Shelby came down and she nailed it. I cannot say enough how awesome she is to get this complete after almost weeks of us not being able to use the sinks.

She spent nearly 3 hours finding where the pipes were to unclog the sink. Shelby spent most of the time in the hot attic in the smallest corner with her all her tools.

Even when one tool wouldn't work, she found another way to fix the issue. Afterwards, she even poured some Thrift into the sinks to get the gunk that was clogging the drains to release.

She even fixed another sink by using Thrift. Even after being exhausted with all those things she fixed my toilet tank with a new valve! I cannot stress how awesome she is! For all the other reviews that say ridiculous things, people blame the plumbers for their home warranty companies that suck.

Instead of getting mad at the plumbers that are just doing their jobs, maybe they should call their home warranty company and yell at them and write them bad reviews. Again, don't read the other reviews cause they are upset they have cheap warranties that do not cover anything.

SHELBY AND TEAM ARE AMAZING....PERIOD!!!! I would not recommend them to ANYONE! I would NOT give them ONE STAR. They were recommended through Home Warranty Company! They were to fix a garbage disposal in our home.

This was not covered by AHS warranty company. We PAID them to install a new disposal.

The plumber installed the garbage disposal but did not complete the job by replacing the hose. She said the previously installed hose was modified to fit the previous disposal And she could not hook it up but would have the warranty company send an appliance tech to do the job.

I specifically asked if the warranty company would honor this as they declined to replace the disposal citing "secondary, incidental, indirect, consequential....damage." She said yes that should not be a problem. Well, you guessed it.

It was a problem and AHS - warranty company wanted no part of that and declined to make the hose installation. We tried contacting the company for over a week through phone calls and leaving message.

No returned phone call nor did they answer their phone from my personal phone. I called from my wife's phone and they answered immediately.

After discussing the problem with Ashley who said she would send the plumber back out the next day if we signed a form stating they were not responsible for any leakage moving forward from the dishwasher. We again attempted to call back after just speaking to them no answer.

Called from my work phone they answered immediately to discuss the problem, explaining that a cut hose that was now to short to reach to the disposal was the problem. The final decision was I could repair the problem myself after paying them 350.00 for incomplete work.

I had a clogged waterline. Mason did a great job clearing it.

He arrived earlier than expected and got the job done quickly. This company was precise and replaced the part on my hot water heater.

I was given a date and time. The Tech was running behind.

He arrived at the end of the day and determined that a new water heater was needed. He went to his truck and came back and told us that to have my water heater replaced it would be over $1800.00 and I would have to pay half to secure a spot for the next day.

He emphasized that he was a licensed plumber and he would have to secure permits. He was only concerned about whether we would pay the half to secure the spot and made a point to tell me the permit was $200.00 when actually the permit was only $50.00.

Needless to say my water heater was not fixed and we have opted for the to fix it on our own. We were excited to learn that this was a Veteran owned company as my husband is a 100% T&P Disabled Veteran.

Unfortunately all that glitters surely isn't gold. It's hard to imagine what else may have been overpriced.

We will never know because the Tech didn't even give us a breakdown or an itemized list of what needed to be repaired. Totally disappointed is putting it mildly.

Proceed with caution. Called F6 and they were out at our residence the very next day.

2 issues were fixed in 15 minutes or less. Fernando left the area clean which is an added plus! We have had F6 Plumbing out for other issues in the past and they always take care of the issues on the spot.

I would have been comfortable with even a 50% overcharge but 400%? Do these people think people don't have Google? Do not trust such a dishonest company. Update: Second company the home warranty company sent quoted $629 instead of the $1,300 quoted by F6.

First American is currently running an investigation into F6 about this matter and for overcharging. Our bathtub faucet broke and called them first thing the next morning, and they were at my house by 1:00.

The window was from 12-5. Uriel did an amazing job.

He was friendly, professional and thoroug. Had another plumbing issue (leaky pipe, boo), got yet another same day appointment (yay), they came on time (double yay), quickly diagnosed the issue (triple yay), and gave me a flat rate to fix it (quadruple yay), came back and did exactly that (a billion yays)! Recommend for sure. One of my bathrooms was clogged and so I called my home warranty and placed a service order.

They sent one of the technicians on Friday. First of all he right away told me that he needed to take the toilet off because he was sure that something was stuck inside and that it will cost me $375.

I agree to it but at the end he could not do much because he said there were roots and that he only cleared the ones on top. But that the bathroom was working ok for now.

After he left, we flushed it a couple of times and it got clogged again, plus my other bathroom and shower were overflowing, water coming out of the toilet. I called my warranty again for a recall and they send the same company.

Then they say they had to go up the roof to clear the roots that way. This time they charged me $450.

At the end, they claimed that it was a bigger job and they needed to excavate to repair the pipe and remove the roots. By this time I was frustrated and furious! I payed almost $800 for nothing!! I will not recommend this compay, they trick you to charge you for extra services.

I would give them 0 stars if I could! F6 Plumbing was sent by American Home Shield for an active leak. I was given a window of 8:30 am-5:00 pm, so taking the entire day off work, for a technician to arrive on Thursday.

After no contact all day I called their office at 4 pm and was told that a tech would still be out that day. I receive a text at 4:55 saying Uriel A.

was on his way. Uriel got to my house, stood next to the leak for about three minutes before returning to the van to call the home warranty.

He returned a few minutes later to tell me that warranty wouldn't cover it, and quoted me over $1,100 to replace galvanized pipe. I told him that it looked like the leak was coming out from under the slab in a different area than where he initially looked, at which time he went back to the van to call the home warranty, returning a few minutes later to say they weren't going to cover it...having absolutely no idea what the issue actually was.

Uriel was gone in less than 20 minutes without even trying to address the issue. He said that they would send another technician to perform a more thorough inspection (not hard to do) and provide a quote.

No further contact from F6 the following day, all while water poured out of the ground. Maybe Uriel had a bad day, maybe it was the fact that they weren't going to get paid through the warranty, either way a poor showing and I would suggest finding a more proactive plumber than F6.

Drew did a great job installing my new faucets. He was very polite and professional.

I have three altered invoices for the same call out after asking for an accurate diagnosis. I was told it was policy that if they are submitting an invoice to a warranty company, and they cannot indisputably prove it was not normal wear and tear, they have to mark normal wear and tear.

I had a toilet serviced (by this company) directly before a new tenant move in and then a few months later the toilet flooded the home. When they submitted the paperwork to the warranty company they marked, normal wear and tear in order to satisfy the claim, after the technician told me that it was more than likely caused by the tenant leaning back repeatedly over time.

This did not sound like normal wear and tear, but at that point they had already submitted to the warranty company that it was. When I asked for their professional opinion as to how they thought a perfectly good toilet went from just being serviced to leaking in less than three months, they altered the signed invoice and sent it back; taking the mark off the normal wear and tear but leaving the actions taken to repair as the diagnosis.

Then altered it again when asked why they would alter a signed document without re-acquiring signatures and asking for a diagnosis and not just actions taken. They sent back another document that indicated that it could not be proven to be excessive force.

This whole circus cost me an insurance deductible and a decision as to whether to fall down a legal rabbit hole leading to countersuits and possible bankruptcy or taking a huge hit to my bank account. The technicians are good at their plumbing job but the paperwork, policies, business practices, and ethics do not seem to be in good order.

This would seem to be a leadership and management issue. I DO NOT recommend dealing with this company.

Here's the story: Met with Andrew twice in early November to walk him through a number of things I was looking to get done to an old house I purchased. Moving water/drains, hot water heater, gas, etc.

Andrew seemed like a great guy at the time, down to earth, confident he could get all the work done in a timely manner. I've never misread someone so badly.

I sent Andrew half the total cost of the project on November 13th for materials and to get started on the work, with the rest to be paid upon completion of the work. He said he'd be getting started that weekend on the project.

Instead, it turned out to be one excuse after another about why he never showed up when promised to do the work. He became increasingly difficult to get a hold of.

He stopped answering my phone calls, always promised via text to call me back later, and never did. This continued for two months until early January.

In order to get a hold of him, I had to call from google voice numbers he didn't have. On Friday, January 10th, I finally got a hold of someone (I believe his wife) and told them I did NOT want him performing any work and asked for my money back.

I was told he would return the materials the following Monday (Jan 13th) and would get a refund a few days later. That turned into "no later than Wednesday (Jan 22nd)".

It's now Jan 31st, I still don't have the money returned to me, hence the legal action against Andrew. To sum it all up, Andrew repeatedly lied to me about starting work, calling me back, his plumbing license (it's expired), pulling permits for the job, sending me any kind of documentation, and now he's literally stolen my money.

Andrew came out to fix my hot water heater on the 20th of September. Total charge for the hot water heater was $1195.

He left the old hot water heater in my attic because he was alone that day and needed help to take it out. After having to call them from my google voice number to answer (which was extremely shady in its own right) I finally got him to come back out and at that time asked him when someone would be coming to inspect.

He said "pulling a permit is not a problem. I'll handle it soon." And it is easy to pull a permit if you're a licensed plumber, BUT ANDREW IS NOT.

So he tells me his license had expired, and he was going to get everything fixed and that I'd get my permit. But even after multiple heated calls, that day never came.

Eventually, by October 20th, I had to get another plumbing service, Legacy Plumbing, to come look at the hot water heater. At first glance, their plumber told me that the work would have never passed inspection anyway.

So, I gladly paid them about $550 dollars to fix the work. 2 days later, I had the inspector in my house and we had passed inspection.

I disputed charges from Planet Earth Plumbing with my CC company and I'm filing a complaint with the Texas State Board of Plumbing. Nothing to see here; just another satisfied customer following a string of many other satisfied customers. What really seems to set Planet Earth Plumbing apart is its owner, Andrew, and his desire to do right by his customers.

He clearly enjoys what he does and is very good at it, but more importantly, keeps sight of who he is doing it for. Some professionals tend to focus exclusively on the issue at hand - e.g.

"I am here to fix your leak" - but it's clear that Andrew treats his business as so much more than that and is here not only to fix a leak, but to solve a problem for a person and make sure they understand and are satisfied with the solution and how it was provided. Having written many hundreds of reviews, I would put Andrew near the very top of my list.

If there were a 6th star available, I would reserve it for a very select number of companies, and Planet Earth Plumbing would be one of them. We had hired Planet Earth Plumbing previously to repair a faulty exterior faucet.

They arrived within hours and did a great job of replacing the faucet. When it came time to replace our leaking kitchen sink faucet with a new Moen faucet, Andrew's company (Planet Earth Plumbing) was our first choice.

We called to make an appointment and left a message. No one responded so we called again the next day.

Jessica answered the phone and made our appointment. The first appointment was for 1 PM on a Monday.

They failed to show up. The second appointment was for the next day between 7 AM and 9 AM.

They failed to show up. Both times, when we again called the business, Jessica said they were busy with another urgent project.

The next appointment was for Wednesday of the same week. Andrew and his assistant came to our house around 11 AM.

He said the new faucet needed different connections. Andrew said he would go to the plumbing supply store and return to replace our faucet.

We waited several hours and finally called the business. Jessica said they had to go to several places to get the parts they needed.

"I will give you a discount for all the times we have failed to come to your home" said Jessica. We replied "We just want the job done".

They never came back. They never contacted us again.

I don't know why Andrew failed to return to do the job. In my opinion, Planet Earth Plumbing needs to be more honest and reliable with their customers.

If they are not interested in a job, please state this upfront so customers are not left waiting for days for Planet Earth Plumbing to do a project. We hired another company who had no problem replacing our kitchen sink faucet without any problems or drama.

Andrew and his crew are great. They are very helpful and were able to fix our leak properly.

The leak was in the front yard. They were transparent in the execution.

Kept us informed at nearly every step of the way; which is really appreciated. This company is very trustworthy and honest.

I contacted them through Yelp late in the evening, and they were able to come by the next day. They cut off the old pieces of copper, brass, and plastic pipe, and installed a flexible metal pipe.

All in about 15 minutes. They made it look easy! They were quick with the job and knowledgable.

They were very friendly and easy to talk to. And the price was unbeatable.

For a plumber to have all of those qualities is very rare. These guys have a high Yelp rating for a reason.

I have sent a separate message on facebook with my contact information; if you choose to respond with in a timely manner and fix the issue I will delete my negative review (s) I wanted to like Andrew and Planet Earth Plumbing, I really did. But it's been nothing short of a horrendous nightmare.

My parents found a leak from the gas line, gas was shut off on Dec 27, 2018 not to be turned on again until repairs and city inspection were made. We called Planet Earth Plumbing Dec 28, 2018, they came out immediately, gave us an incredible estimate (2,260) 1/3 of what other companies were quoting us.

Andrew and his team seemed extremely down to earth (perhaps the reason for their name) and not out to gouge every last cent from their customers so my parents and I happily agreed. They came out and did all the repairs and finished sometime around Jan 4, 2019.

All the repairs looked fine, it was all going smoothly until after they received final payment on the 4th (which they were extremely prompt calling me at 8:29 pm and again at 8:48 pm the same night) and needed to contact the city to get an inspection. Then came absolute radio silence.

Absolutely zero communication on the progress of obtaining the inspection. Every time there was communication, it was initiated by me wondering "What in the world is going on?!?" Followed by dates and promises that never fell through.

Even if the reasons they gave were legit, all that we wanted was open communication. My parents and I would have been understanding and we would have made accommodations.

But no, we were left totally in the dark believing in the words they promised and my parents suffered because of it. Finally after two weeks, the inspection was made and gas was turned on Jan 17, 2019.

That's THREE WEEKS my parents (who do not speak english and are 70 and 62) suffered in the dead of winter where temperatures dropped regularly into the 30's. It was so cold they needed multiple comforters to try and make it through the night.

They didn't deserve that kind of treatment, no one does. Unfulfilled promises, complete lack of communication, and what seems to be just an absence of respect and care after payment is how I would summarize this experience from a company that I really wanted to like.

As of today, the hole they dug up in the backyard to replace the pipeline still sits, unfilled. They said they would fill it the week of 21st-25th, today is the 26th.

I might recommend them for small repairs because their prices are unmatched. But beware of larger, longer projects that require open communication, they seem to drop the ball heavily on that.

In fact the repair turned out to be quite a bit more than expected but that wasn't an issue for Andrew. He walked us through the entire process of the repair and was very helpful.

Charged me reasonably and got the job done quickly. Payment was easy and they left a detailed invoice of the charges.

Andrew called us ahead of time and let us know he would be a bit late but still got here in the 3 hour window the original appointment was set for. 5-star work and hands-down the best plumber I've had to come work at my home! They came out to fix my broken toilet but didn't even fix the issue! The toilet worked for literally the day they "fixed" it and went back to normal the next day.

I called them again to come back out and the guy didn't show. They should've re-fixed it for free since they didn't the first time.

About the materials, I would think if this business used high quality parts that my toilet wouldn't have broken the next day! Clearly the "high quality parts" didn't fix the issue.. great experience! I had one of the emergency situation in the evening.

The water came out from the shower and water flow are very slow with bubbling sounds in the sinks and toilet. I sent my quote and got the response really quick.

He sent me messages and instructed me how to stop the water flow into our bedroom. Next day he called me ahead and showed up in the morning during our Scheduled period.

All issues fixed in 1 hour. I really appreciate it.

I don't often give reviews but these guys are seriously levels above plumbers I've used in the past. I had a water line break a few inches in the slab and had multiple plumbers come out to give quotes.

Not only was planet earth plumbing fair in pricing, there was no up-selling. They were extremely professional and kept me up to date on the progress.

After finishing they checked everything in the house to make sure all was good, have some advice on small repairs that I could do myself and not have to call them and cleaned up everything. Seriously, if you want an honest and fair plumber, give these guys a call.

Made an appt with Andrew to fix a leak in my kitchen and replace a faucet. He had to cancel our first appointment to take care of family, but made an appt to come back the following morning.

He was on time, replaced some rubber rings for me (instead of replacing the shut-off valves) to stop the leak, and offered to put my faucet in for free because he had to cancel on me the day before. He also told me which part to buy to fix a leak I have in my yard, and how to do it.

Another company gave me a $250 estimate to replace a part I bought on Amazon for $17. I estimate he saved us almost $350 for the plumbing jobs I had almost hired another company to do.

We will definitely use this company again. Great experience.

The first time we used this company they were great .. the second time we scheduled an estimate to get a gas line installed for a new cook top as we wanted to switch from electric to gas.

They came out and gave an estimate, so we scheduled to do the work on a Friday.. I did some demo on our pantry wall so the gas line could be run and removed the old cook top..

I took off work Friday and they had to cancel, they rescheduled for Saturday which we had plans but we moved them around because we wanted the cook top.. Saturday came and they had to reschedule again.

So we rescheduled for Monday after I got off work .. they were a no show and no call ..

I had to find a diff plumber to do the work .. also I had gave them $300 up front to buy supplies ..

and had to ask a week later for my money back instead of them giving it back on their own .. they did refund my money promptly so I give them credit for that ..

I would not bother contacting this company .. this is not how business should be done.

Highly recommend! I hate to write bad reviews and bring somebody down but thanks to this plumbing company , my job has been left undone for the last month and 10 days. Andrew has cancelled/ rescheduled/ not shown up exactly 6 times since we started trying to work with him.

We were extremely accommodating as the excuses included being sick/ breaking his hand/ car break down etc but finally realized that they were just extremely unprofessional and had a problem showing up to work...I had a simple job - 40 days and a slew of ph calls/ text messages later- its still undone...... we politely told him that we didn't need his services anymore.

They called me at 8am the morning of my appointment I had scheduled, I didn't answer the phone because I was asleep, so they give no other opportunity and just cancel my appointment. I was never told that if I didn't answer a single random phone call the morning of my appointment then it would be cancelled.

What kind of business does that? I call back when I wake up and some lady just tells me sorry you didn't answer the phone so you're going to have to reschedule. Next available is 3 days from now.

What a joke. The lady on the phone was extremely rude talking to me like I was some idiot, learn some people skills please.

Yesterday when I got out of the shower there was water all over the bathroom floor and bedroom when I got done. After finally drying up all the water that had gone everywhere I needed to find help with the problem (open up yelp app, search plumbers).

Unfortunately it was the weekend and getting a hold of a plumber was difficult. NOT with Andrew and Planet Earth Plumbing.

I called and left a message and received a prompt return (I called around 9 am on a Sunday morning) Just getting in touch with someone was a big relief after trying a couple other plumbers. Andrew was able to get out there the same day and they do not charge any type of service fee for it being the weekend/outside of business hours.

He was prompt, friendly and figured out the problem was a backup in the main line very quickly. Within less than an hour he had the problem fixed.

I would also be surprised if his prices could be beat. Incredibly affordable!!!!! I used Yelp to find Planet Earth plumbing and other than the one user who clearly signed up for yelp to post what appeared to be an off based review (you know who you are) I agree with all the other positive reviews.

He boasts no after-hours charges and availability any day, any time. He was done in 15 minutes and even saved me from a house fire by catching a terrible fire hazard.

Horrible customer service experience this week. Remember - the expectation is that you're at their disposal and need to be glued to your phone throughout the appointment window; the fact that an appointment was made, a week plus ahead of timer hat they have rescheduled once already, has no bearing on whether they'll actually show up.

The excuse is that "you didn't pick up our call and he's now out of the area" - all before the appointment window is actually over. I'm very disappointed to receive this customer service in spite of being a repeat customer...

Andrew, I like the work that you do and how knowledgeable you are, but you have to fix your scheduling system to continue receiving good reviews in the future. Andrew was definitely a nice guy to speak with, but my overall experience with Planet Earth Plumbing was horrible.

I have a house pending sale and needs to have the hot shower fixed in one of the bathrooms. I contacted Andrew online and scheduled for an appointment to fix the shower cartridge on 8/24.

Andrew showed up that day and upon inspecting the faucet, told me he needs a special tool to do the work. He left and promised to get back with me that day.

I waited whole day at the old house and did not hear anything back. I called in to check on the status next day and was told by the receptionist lady that the 'special tool' was on order and they will schedule me for the following Friday (8/31) to get it fixed.

Coming 8/31, I took a day off work waiting for Andrew to come and was notified in the afternoon by a text that Andrew was out of town. At that time I have a final house inspection lined up the next day and a broken shower still not fixed.

With Labor Day long weekend coming up, I have to spend extra $$ and effort to find another plumbing company to request for an 'emergency fix' to get everything fixed. I waited 2 full weeks for Planet Earth Plumbing and they let me down.

I called requesting an estimate and received an appointment for the following day. The plumber was very prompt and wonderful to work with! He was very upfront with the cost and provided me with the best course of action to save me money.

Andrew was excellent. We recently called him after a really bad experience with another company.

He came over and checked out our sewer leak (already identified by previous company), explained his proposed solution (without talking down to us!) and gave us a quote that was a quarter of the cost of the competition (we had already received several bids). I really appreciated that his quote came in the form of a "not to exceed" $x amount of money.

It really eased our fears that he only gave us a low quote up front only to "find" more problems to hike up the cost. In the end they had to dig farther than planned and even had to re-level a tunnel, but the bill came in exactly as quoted.

I'd give them a 6/5 if possible. We had a bathtub drain slowly plug up over 6 years since a renovation.

Andrew came out and ran a power snake but didn't help. They checked the crawl space and found the renovation plumber had the new PVC running uphill, so it slowly filled with sand etc and plugged.

It was late in the day and didn't have the supplies so arranged another day to repair it. They cut a cast drain pipe, repaired PVC and gave a 10 year warranty.

It should work fine forever. Andrew made 2 trips, 3 guys, nearly 6 hours of time here, the price was excellent.

Everyone left their shoes outside, cleaned up everything, and were great to work with. I called the renovation plumber who said they have a 1 year warranty.....
