Review and analyze now for company Rescue Air and Plumbing and provide the analysis in the discussed format for the following reviews: '''As always great service. The technichans are always timely, professional and thorough.
If you're looking for an AC company you can trust, i highly recommend Rescue Air. Pros: good communication with both the dispatch and the service rep that came to my house, rep was able to come very quickly and was super nice, they had this cool camera that showed me the inside of my pipes to give better context Cons: considerably more expensive than other quotes I got, if I'd had the time I would have chosen a cheaper option for such a simple job that I already understood (it was just a drain cleanout under my yard with a very accessable cleanout).
Not the service rep's fault but they are expected to push this maintenance service that has a monthly fee and I had to decline it twice. Alex, Adrian, and Bobby were all amazing.
Let's be clear, no one wants to buy a new hot water heater. It's not an awesome way to spend money BUT they were super professional, gave me an honest evaluation for my existing unit and then they presented my options.
We chose to replace our 50g unit and they booked the installers right away. Our new unit is working amazingly well and we also had a water sensor and shut off valve in case of water leakage which was important to us since our unit is in the attic.
We felt their price was very fair and we were more than pleased with their professionalism and good, clean work. I can't recommend them enough.
We will definitely be using them from here on out! Efficient, friendly, and knowledgeabl from scheduling to making repairs on our AC unit! Bryan was courteous and helpful in explaining the problem with our unit and provided helpful information to consider regarding extending the life, performanc, and efficiency of our AC. I our bi- annual check up went well as always.
I'm on a monthly service plan that takes care of my units. How's your long.
Thank God for that. Been using Rescue Air for several years now.
Always professional and courteous. They have fair prices and the do top quality work.
We recently purchased a home with an older HVAC system. Contacted rescue air and they came out and gave us 4 great options.
After we selected our options, Edward came out with his team and did a fantastic job installing. We're very happy with our system.
We just used Rescue Air this week and today(Sunday) to get our ac service work and recharge. The company representatives were Marianne through the office and Roman was our tech.
He was very professional and felt like he was upfront with his recommendations and preparing for our longterm needs. He gave us great information about the options available and shared the company basics about their size, location, and financing options when we are ready to move forward with our new system.
Will be using them again as they value our business and provided excellent service. Matthew was great! Very thorough with what needed to be done and happy they were able to get the job done quickly.
I would definitely recommend Rescue Air and Plumbing! Rescue Air is my go to when I have problems with my AC every summer. They are fast at responding, and very thorough with their inspections.
Roman was able to come out yesterday when my unit started struggling to cool the house (happens every summer), and his expertise and ability to explain things in a manner I could understand was very welcoming. It was very obvious he's been doing this a while and his patience with me was so appreciated.
He took the time to sit with me and answer all my questions. I now know the main problem and will continue to use them when it's time to replace my unit.
Highly recommend!!!! Called RescueAir after an AC unit stopped blowing cold. Roman called me back promptly, arranged the appointment, confirmed the appointment the day before, AND communicated the day of with ETA and then arrived on time.
He was professional and knowledgeable throughout. Will use them again.
Price was a bit high but service and follow up was great! I guess you get what you pay for Rescue Air & Plumbing have been great to work with - Starting with the prompt confirmation and scheduling and helpful customer service of Naomi and Carolina to the professional service provided by Roman and Conner. From beginning to end, everyone was courteous and kind and ensured I had top notch service and my questions answered and issue resolved.
Additionally, this company works 7 days a week so I was able to talk with the company on phone and via text on a Saturday for a Sunday appointment. This is great for those of us who work M-F 8-5! They keep you updated about your appointment time and provide notice within an hour so I was able to carry on with my day until they were ready for me, which was a nice change opposed to the 4-6 hour window range like many companies do.
Another added bonus, once your technician is dispatched, the office staff sends you a text with the name and a photo of the technician who will be working with you! Once Roman and Conner arrived, they were professional and courteous. They had the uniforms and name badges clearly visible.
They wore the protective shoe covers as needed for entering the home. They had to go into my attic so they took photos of the equipment and were able to give me a good explanation of my issue, show me what they saw and were able to clearly explain my options and the cost for resolving.
I appreciated the transparency and their ability to explain and answer my questions. Top notch professional company all around.
They will definitely have my business as an ongoing customer and I highly recommend! Really really really good service. My husband and I have had some run ins with service people not showing up on time, not showing up at all, zero communication, you name it! Rescue Air & Plumbing checked all these boxes.
We had an issue where we thought we heard water dripping in our wall---it freaked the hubs out, so I was on the phone immediately, trying to get someone out to check. RA&P had someone come to our house the very next day.
They even sent any and all updates via text. How convenient! Are they the cheapest? NO.
$99 just for them to come out. Womp Womp.
But I am at the age where I will pay big money for superior customer service and thorough work. We appreciate the professionalism, Tyler and Bobby.
They were very quick with their response, and offered a fair quote, but I haven't had the work done just yet. Jeff did a great job for our routine maintenance of our air-conditioning and furnace.
He was on time, friendly, personable, and was very thorough. He explained everything in detail so I completely understood how our system was functioning.
I would highly recommend him and Rescue Air. The techs that come to your house are either not given the proper tools or the proper training to do their job.
Someone came over to my house to perform routine maintenance, and at the end he reported that the evaporator coil had a leak. He showed me a video of one of his tools going off, indicating a leak.
The cost of replacing this coil would be $5100. I thought this was strange as the AC seemed to be working fine, so I decided to get a second (and third) opinion and neither of those companies detected a leak.
If I had trusted this employee I would have been out a sizable chunk of change. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, so I'm guessing either the tech was incompetent or was working with malfunctioning tools.
It should also be noted that once he gave me the news he then tried to get me to act fast, and offered discounts if I moved quickly. I would advise anyone who works with this company to resist the pressure to get the "repair" done quickly and get at least a second opinion.
Edit: I talked to the business owner and he offered to have someone come over and perform two more tests to see if there is, in fact, a leak in the evaporator coil. Supposedly these tests are more thorough and definitive than the test the tech performed.
This further proves my point of that the employees need more training or are inept at their job. If I'm going to tell someone they need +$5k in repairs I'm not going to rely on a sub par test.
I would perform the "gold standard" test the first time, or at least confirm the inferior tests results. Just finished my install, Austin, Alex and team did a great job with the installation and took extra time to walk me through everything.
I really appreciate the service! AC unexpectedly stopped cooling mid-day in weekend. Reached out through Yelp for a quote and appointment and of four businesses that replied, Rescue Air and Plumbing was the most responsive and was able to get a tech to our house within two hours and our capacitor replaced and AC working within another half hour.
Joey explained everything, was very polite, and provided great service for a fair price. Really appreciate how prompt and helpful they were and that we didn't even need to go the whole afternoon without AC.
Keegan was very helpful and we were also on a time crunch, and he came through in a short 30 minute window! We will definitely be calling RESCUE AIR and Plumbing again! I called them around 9 am when I realized my ac wasn't working and they had someone out by 1:30 and the motor/ fan replaced on my unit before 5. I'm very happy and we signed up for the family plan.
I called Rescue Air after another company tried to sell me on a whole new system when the one we have is only 5 years old. David was great and walked me through what exactly was going on and I felt like he was very knowledgeable and trustworthy.
We absolutely will be using them anytime something goes wrong with our AC. Stay away from them for their incompetence.
Came in for a 2nd opinion and turned off the outside switch, and couldnt turn it on. See the pic to guess how difficult the switch was.
This is from a very longtime customer dating back to when they had two trucks and Josh on calls. You are a far different company versus when the owner was out in the field for repairs and long before the monthly service, plumbing and terrible customer service.
We have mutually parted ways both upset with recent changes. I finished the visit with a reach out to Baker and they finished telling me they are canceling my monthly service.
The reason was me telling their technician I was very unhappy with having to pay for service on a system 6 years old and walked away from his upsell. $27k of A/C's should come with better support for something this young.
That offended him. They have fallen to a place I happily walk away from and their response only reinforced my decision.
I thought customer service was a thing of the past. Not here! The communication is/was exceptional and impressed by the use of various methods to ensure a smooth, fast, and exceptional experience.
I was traveling for work and got a call from the wife that the water heater seemed to be leaking. I found rescue and reached out via Yelp to schedule an appointment to replace the unit before it got worse.
I sent the request Saturday evening and received a call and text within 10 minutes. The appointment was scheduled for Sunday with the on duty plumber, Dennis.
Dennis was communicative, professional and kept me informed during the whole process. I even received installation pictures after the completion of installation.
Pricing? It was fair for a Sunday install. I'm happy to pay for exceptional service and will happily use Rescue again in the future.
You know the saying, "you get what you pay for!" Happy to see that professionalism still exist. You've got a customer for life.
Hot water went out, paid $2700 in full upfront to have our hot water heater replaced. Replacement finished up at 4:30pm.
Was told it would take anywhere between 30-45 minutes for the water to heat up. 4 hours later still no hot water(things happen, we weren't too worried, I told my wife to give it time).
Next morning still no hot water, called the next morning to voice our concerns and was told they were not sure when they could have a tech come out. Wife homeschools and has a small business at our home so she had to clear her whole day because a time frame could not be given.
Instead of showing understanding and empathy for our frustration, we were told a bunch of I don't knows and even more frustrating we were told that we had an outstanding previous service balance. For context, 4 weeks ago we had to replace our downstairs ac unit and used Rescue Air.
Didn't seem like the best time to inform the customer that they have a previous service balance when the issue at hand has not been resolved and not eta can be given of when it can be resolved. Especially when no phone call, email, mail or text has been received about said balance.
Including our new ac unit that we just replaced, over the past month we payed Rescue Air $11k upfront in full and you bring up a $160 balance when we're clearly frustrated ?(turns out the $160 balance we were told we owed was an accounting issue on their end-didn't owe anything) Finally had a tech come out around 2pm and was told breaker box popped as they were working and he just had to reset it. Things happ en, I get it.
I work in the automotive industry so I understand that parts fail, stuff breaks, etc. Also, I certainly wasn't looking to jump to the front of the line and bump other customers who had appointments that morning but the situation left a bitter taste that we couldn't at least get a time frame.
Just would have appreciated more empathy and understanding for the issue not being fixed, and a willingness and commitment to make the situation right. Roman came out to help check out our AC unit and see what the problem was.
I am pregnant so I was needing someone to get out to the house as soon as possible. He came to see us on a Saturday (which was so helpful because of our work schedule).
He was so passionate about what he does and gave us various options of what we could do and what would be best with our budget and to get it fixed to get our house working perfectly. I would absolutely recommend this company and definitely suggest asking for Roman.
He has 30+ years of family experience and knowledge in AC units and will only try to to sell you what you can afford and what is necessary which is what we were looking for in a company - honesty!! excellent conscientious service. the office staff and the employees that come out to your house are very knowledgeable and willing to help and answer questions especially Eric plumber Techs were professional.
Joan was done quickly and properly. Job was misquoted but they honored the misquote.
Had the most professional guy named Roman come out to look at my AC unit today. I was truly blown away by his professionalism, and how quickly and confident he was in determining the problem and then giving 3 different options on how to solve it.
I will definitely be going back to Roman for my AC needs on my condo in Dallas. They came sooner than I expected, excellent customer service, quick and efficient, and I was put at ease knowing that my tenants wouldn't have any issues.
Jorge and Jesse were great! Needed a new flush valve and so I created a project in Yelp and sent out requests for estimates. Rescue responded quickly and by far had the highest approval ratings.
The job was fairly simple but each person I engaged with was courteous, professional and competent. From the phone dispatch team to the guys in the field, I was impressed and I really liked the culture of the company! Update: the city inspector came and FAILED the AC install twice.
Waiting for the company to respond regarding a refund to make things right. They called before arrival and appeared when they said they would.
Put booties on at the door. They asked about the problem, listened and then got to work.
They did a thorough check on both systems, fixed a problem and then looked for more. Their work was excellent and detailed.
I've overseen preventative maintenance done on much larger units than mine and I was impressed. I can heartily recommend them.
George Gosko ### Rescue Air - 5 Stars If I could give Rescue Air more than 5 stars, I would do it in a heartbeat! Listen to this: My day started off with a perfectly fine working A/C unit. Another company that I called first to do some maintenance ended up breaking it after a wire became disconnected and they wired it back wrong.
Told me my compressor was shot, nothing they could do. OMG! Seriously? I needed a second opinion.
Then I called Rescue Air! Enter Rescue Air: my saviors on this hot, humid day. Prompt Response I called Rescue Air in a state of panic, and their customer service was top-notch from the get-go.
They were empathetic, listened to my concerns, and promised to send a technician out the same evening. Timely Arrival Roman was my technician and he arrived exactly when they said he would.
No waiting around and no vague 4-hour windows. They understood the urgency of the situation.
Expertise & Skill What impressed me most was Roman's expertise. He quickly assessed my A/C unit and discovered that my compressor was NOT shot as previously diagnosed.
With skillful hands and a clear understanding of the system, he fixed what the other company broke. Fair Pricing After such a swift and effective repair, I was expecting a hefty bill.
To my pleasant surprise, the pricing was more than fair, especially considering the speed and quality of service. No hidden fees, no unnecessary upselling, just honest work.
Professionalism Throughout the service call, the technician maintained the highest level of professionalism. They explained every step, offered tips on how to maintain my A/C unit moving forward, and ensured that everything was working perfectly before they left.
Rescue Air has earned a lifelong customer in me, and I will be singing their praises to all my friends and family. Thank you, Rescue Air, for turning what could have been a dreadful day into a sigh of relief.
You guys are true to your name; you really are the 'Rescue' when it comes to air conditioning woes! Dean the senior service person is absolutely the best! He explained things in terms we could understand and is so polite and professional. I had just assembled a natural gas grill and needed someone over within hours to connect the line before friends were coming over.
I'd probably blow up the house if I tried myself. I sent a request out to Yelp and RA&P responded immediately, were able to meet my short window, and took care of it in a flash.
The techs were really nice guys. I do have a regular plumber, but he wasn't available, so I was very, very pleased with RA&P's availability.
They got the job done before any other plumbing company even responded to my fanned-out request. The reason for 3 stars is the price was, IMHO, ludicrous.
The initial quote was around $500 and the tech brought it down to $290. Very nice of him, and I could hear in his voice even he was thinking it was a high fee for the general gas appliance connection charge applying to this particularly simple and quick situation, but there wasn't much more he could do and I paid nearly as much for the hook-up as I did the grill itself.
For that alone, I wouldn't go with them again out of fear of their other service charges. But again, very quick to respond, very nice guys, and they saved my night.
Updated review: The manager, Oscar, did a good job handling their mistake with our recent plumbing order with them. He corrected the issue and made us feel much better about the entire situation.
We now feel differently and hope to use this company again in the future if needed. (Previous review): I told you, Juan, that I would leave this review if you didn't have a manager call me back! $308 for a little black rubber bib gasket?! I am not happy at all by being overcharged by at least $100 or more just to change out a bib gasket! I understand being charged $99 for a service call, but being charged for over $200 just for the worker to be here for 25 minutes and change out a two dollar part? Does that mean that this company charges $400 an hour? I also feel like we were taken advantage of because I wasn't here to to handle the service technician like originally agreed to and planned.
Instead, Rob Lopez came an hour earlier (3:45 PM) than what I told their office representative to send him out. I told Caroline that I wouldn't return home from my daughter's swim lesson until 4:40 PM and that they could send the technician by at 4:45 PM.
My husband was working in our front office at our home that day, but I feel like he was taken advantage of because he couldn't give Rob his 100%, undivided attention when he showed up. My husband had to keep his earbuds in and actively listen to his coworkers while the plumber was here.
Just to give an example of why I feel like we were ripped off, we had our front hose faucet replaced by a different plumber last year and he was about $130 cheaper than this company and he was here for the same amount of time. Plus he gave us a brand new, frost proof faucet!! The whole job only cost $175.
So, if you want to feel like you've been given a bit of a bait and switch with scheduling and be ripped off by at least $100 for a non-emergency, then call this company! P.S.: The invoice from this company says that they replaced the whole hydrant, which is not true. They only changed out a little black gasket.
So, right there, we were charged for something that we shouldn't have. But, no one will return my call! The technician arrived promptly.
He diagnosed the problem efficiently and explained the repair options thoroughly and in a manner that was easy to understand. Most importantly, he fixed the problem quickly! I want to start out by saying Andre Lemieux did a great job, He went above and beyond the job! I bought a new Lennox system, it was installed 02/28/2022 by Rescue Air.
They came out same day sold me the system and installed same afternoon. It quite working Sunday 2/23/2024.
I called Rescue Air on 2/24/2024 AM for repair and was told Thursday 2/27/2024 was earliest appointment. I asked Mark why their Website says (same day service), he told me that was only for their Club Members only (Maintenace Program).
It was 92 degrees in house so I called Garland Heat & Air, they came out next morning and diagnosed problem, broken factory weld on copper pipe, they said the repair and refrigerant would be $1750.00 and told me to call rescue air because they were not a Lennox dealer and they could probably get Lennox to cover it. I called Rescue and told them it was a faulty factory weld and sent a picture of the leaky weld and copy of estimate from Garland H&A.
They couldn't give me a time but said about 2;00 pm. I called again around 3:30 pm and ask for Joshua Cambell the owner and was told he is not taking calls & not in (lie), I said if it's not fixed Today, I'll meet him at the office in the morning.
I got to talk to Juan and Andrias in next few minutes. They had copy of faulty Weld so I asked if the tech would be able to make the repair while he was there, replied oh yes.
At 4:45 I called back thinking they were about to close so they said tech was finishing paperwork at last job & was on the way. Andre arrived around 5:15 checked the faulty Weld and told me that he didn't have enough Freon or Torch to make repair and said they didn't share any Info with him.
Like I stated earlier He was great. He went to shop to pick up more freon & Torch, returned around 7:00 and finished after 10:00 PM.
I went to pay and he told me that he will get it covered not to worry it was not my fault because of faulty Factory weld. Copy of faulty weld attached.
Thanks to Andre! There is a few descent people. Thanks again, Harvey Great service and sales from Roman Arnold! Helped us make the right long-term decision for our home.
Very fast and efficient (but careful) installation. Called them on a Friday night at 9pm and by Sunday 6pm the entire upstairs AC unit was installed and running.
Very impressed. We used them once before years ago for a much smaller job and they did great with that as well.
This company will give you estimates on a long list of repairs that they say you need. I just needed an overall update on a system that THEY installed less than one year prior.
$12,000 and six months later and the estimate came up to $7,000+ to "fix everything." Very hard sell. Avoid at all cost.
After a lot of back and forth, the owner of the company personally contacted me. He came for a service call with a tech and made part changes and modifications, which have made things better.
Am changing the rating to a 4 given the personal involvement and service recovery. The whole installation did not go as expected and there were several communication failures between service techs.
I understand things can go wrong and Rescue Air went out of the way to make things right, which is greatly appreciated. And no, this review was not bought.
It is purely based on an effort by the owner to do what was right. Tyler and Bobby were our contractors who came to look at everything.
They were thorough, respectful, knowledgeable, honest, affordable and extremely helpful. These guys are my new favorite plumbers.
They really did come to the rescue. I'm so happy.
They are there to make money and not provide cost-value balanced workmanship. They came and provided an estimate that was EXORBITANT.
I didn't hire them. I had a water heating system that broke down all of a sudden like many home owners do experience.
Mine happened one evening and everyone was paranoid due to cold weather in February, and I picked this company after requesting a quote from yelp. They were very quick to respond and looked at my issue and gave me an over the top estimates which I cld not afford.
I did called the next company that responded to my request and they came out the next day. Gave me an estimate that was reasonable, changed everything as new.
This company has a great reputation customer support team and the young man that came over my place was a gentleman, explained all the information and tried his best to help but cld only do it as was told by his company policy. I do appreciate their response time but will not recommend them due to some of their overwhelming higher quotes to rip home owners out.
Goodbye. I called them to fix a water heater.
Their tech guy said it was time for a replacement. They charged me $3700, which I thought sounded high, but he said that's the going price these days after Covid.
I would add rampant price gouging all over, but that may not apply here, in fairness. Seeing as how I didn't want to go without hot water for longer getting other estimates, I agreed to their terms.
The crew was four hours late. They gave me such a runaround, I thought I may have been scammed.
The crew chief acknowledged they could have, should have communicated better. They had waited until the time of my appointment to pick up the heater, and I infer they had to use a backup source in Plano.
The installation crew were well dressed, congenial, polite, and appeared to be experts at their craft. They completed the job the day after the estimate.
I'm very pleased with the personnel and speed of service, but I'm not fully convinced the price was a good value for the money. In short, great crew, but business model could use improvement.
Jorge and Jesse have been amazing, they explained a lot and gave us a bunch of good information. They also unclogged our bathroom sink.
Rescue Air is the best. They came out the same day, diagnosed, gave a quote and even waived service fee.
I would definitely recommend them. I've been using this company since we moved into our newest house over 2 years ago.
They installed 2 units expeditiously last Summer when ours reached their end. Technician Quendarius has been our point person for regular maintenance for these units and he's always a pleasure to work with.
He is thorough, detailed, and not pushy when it comes to recommendations. After spotting some biological growth in one of the units he thoroughly went over options to remedy the problem and even went the extra mile by talking to his manager in regards to pricing.
I can't say enough good things about Quendarius and the company as a whole. If you have HVAC needs this is the place to go.
Call this company immediately - you won't regret it. I scheduled a service call and a tech was at my house within 2 hours yesterday.
Joe K. was honestly one of the best technicians I have ever had at my house of any trade.
He was so incredibly knowledgeable and gave me an in depth education on the multiple AC units in my house, options for a path forward on maintenance (not just the most expensive), and was completely straightforward in his professional recommendations. He even comped my diagnostic fee when he immediately realized the problem was not as extensive as I'd previously been told and didn't need a complete unit inspection.
He is the third HVAC professional I have had at my property this year and the only one who showed patience to teach me some important things about dealing with rooftop townhouse AC units even and genuine care for me to get to the right solution for my house even though it was close to 6 pm and probably the end of his day. It's worth noting that the call team and office staff who I scheduled with were so friendly and communicative as well.
Thanks Joe and Rescue! I have used several large plumbing companies but Jorge and Jessie from Rescue Air were very knowledgeable and took time to discuss my issue with me. They arrived in a timely and professional manner and represented their business well! Not to mention the rate was very reasonable.
We had a complete new unit installed. Rescue Air had a competitive price, and the price quoted was the price we paid.
No change orders or hidden cost. Jeff came out the day after we requested the quote and I had the quote in hand within an hour of the walkthrough.
He was very knowledgeable and walked us through his recommendations. Chase, Alex, and Ty installed the unit, they were great 10/10.
They installed everything in the original timeline and the finished product was exactly what was promised. They communicated throughout the install process and made the install painless and easy for us.
We will be returning to Rescue for all of our future servicing needs and will be recommending them to all of our friends and family. Rescue Air is the best company for all of your HVAC and plumbing needs.
The crew is the nicest group of people I have ever had to work in my home. My crew included: Joe, Edward, Randy, Melvin and Justin.
I know that there were a couple of other guys that were also great but I can't remember all of the names. They are courteous, professional, and knowledgeable.
I had to have my entire HVAC system replaced. The guys worked hard to get it mostly taken care of within one day.
I am really blessed to have found Rescue Air when I did! I highly recommend! I just had a new 5 ton Lennox 23 seer compressor and new fan, coil and heater installed in my home. The previous equipment was 15 + years old.
Roman was the salesman and Austin and Saul were the installers and Hector followed up to re-install the antic stairs (needed more room for the equipment). From beginning to end it was a great experience.
All were extremely professional, conscientious and pleasant. These guys knew what they were doing and I am completely satisfied with the entire process.
I highly recommend Rescue Air and the team I had. Can't say enough good things about Rescue Air and Plumbing! Michael and Roman saved the day....AGAIN!!! I used Rescue Air for service and installation of a new unit at my previous home and only had fabulous things to say then.
Well, now, as a renter I was happy to recommend Rescue Air to my landlord when my A/C unit suddenly stopped working in 103 degree heat at 6pm on a Sunday night. He agreed, and Rescue Air responded.....FAST! Roman, my A/C tech, arrived friendly and professionally at 8:30pm and was quick to respond to an underlying piping/plumbing issue causing a pan to overflow.
Literally, he arrived in the nick of time as water was beginning to come thru the air vents! I appreciate Rescue Air and Roman for being prompt and efficient and preventing me from melting down. Highly recommend!!!! For the first year or so Rescue Air was a fantastic service, but their customer service diminished over the past year.
A few things potential customers should know: -They don't schedule appointments, but rather 8 hour windows. There is no flexibility with this.
-They repeatedly ask their customers to leave 5 star reviews. If you want honest reviews, read the reviews that are less than 5 stars.
-On the positive side, all of the technicians I've met have been friendly. The company has excellent customer service when they're trying to sell/upsell you.
During my last scheduled service, the technician sent to my house didn't have a ladder tall enough to service my AC despite the unit's location being noted in my file. I was very understanding, because stuff happens & everyone was apologetic.
A 2nd technician comes a day later, but he didn't have enough training to repair the one and only issue I was having with my AC. He let dispatch know that a *3rd* technician needs to come & address the problem.
At this point, I'm a little frustrated because I have rearranged my work schedule for 2 days to accommodate their 8 hour window. I am still understanding though, because the situation wasn't the technician's fault.
Then silence: over a month passes and I receive zero communication from Rescue Air. No attempts to reschedule my service, no apologies for 2 different appointments not addressing the issue.
I then decided to cancel my service because I'm not even sure what I am paying for at this point other than being inconvenienced during my work day. Air went out on the first 90 degree day of the year and Andre came to repair my unit arriving after five and staying until the unit was back up and running.
Explained the problem got the job done and the air is back on. No, we were simply requesting a quote, and they came back with a ridiculous price.
It was double any of the other estimates we received. I'm sure it's not easy to install a toilet but for the life of me I can't believe somebody would think it would cost $1000 to install one.
Or that that price would be reasonable. System failed in 100 degree heat.
Jeff came out on the same day on a Saturday and the replacement was finished the next day on Sunday. Not only do they have the resources to get it done now, Jeff was extremely knowledgeable about all options, and their pricing and warranty was unmatched.
Saul and Austin were just outstanding during the install. Not only was it done in the hours they predicted, but tarps everywhere and the house was cleaner than when they started.
Just outstanding skill and exceptional teamwork. Most important, they are all personable and have great sense of humor! Roman, was extremely professional and answered all of our concerns.
He was very responsive to text messages and calls. Also, Roman was personable and a guy you wished was your next door neighbor.
We trusted his 30 years of experience and purchased a new Lennox AC condenser and Heating unit. The installers were equally impressive and even vacuumed my floors after installation! I used this company 2 years ago to install a AC Carrier unit.
My 2 year service had just expired, but needed them to come out to check a loud noise in my Compressor. The young serviceman was not helpful at all, he took me back inside the house to try to convince me that he would need to clean out and clear the lines from inside my unit that had become stopped up.
That they would charge $599, when I told him absolutely not, he then said, then $199. I told him that I won't be using Rescue Air any longer cause, he was only trying to focus on getting as much commission work written up as possible.
I told him, that my husband and I do the clean out once a month with a little bleach down the AC lines, then blow it out like my previous serviceman had told us to do that was with A1 Air. I said, no thank you!!! I expressed to him that you and Rescue Air & Plumbing has just lost our business.
Also, watch out for and listen to your gut feeling, when someone is not there to help you, but just there to take advantage of you. He thought I was just another little older lady that he could take advantage of.
Shame on you!!! Roman came out to take a look at our AC unit that stopped working. He got the immediate issue fixed so we were back to have cool air, but he also took a look at our entire system (12 years old).
He was very professional, explained what was going on, and scheduled us to get a new unit ASAP. We also signed up for the family plan and are looking forward to having Rescue Air come out regularly to make sure everything is in working order.
A big thanks to Roman with Rescue Air for rapidly responding and solving an issue with one of our Air Conditioning unit and thanks to Rescue Air that once again delivered quickly. This review is for the excellent communication from Doug and Edie.
While we didn't end up keeping our appointment, Doug was extremely responsive and informative. We called to cancel our appointment and Edie was understanding and helpful.
It's easy to provide good customer service when you complete a service or transaction. But it's not nearly as easy when you don't get the business.
So we'll definitely be booking with them for our near future HVAC needs. Had a maintenance appointment today with Blake - arrived on time and worked efficiently.
Explained things well and recommended a few things to extend the life of my AC units that I had him do. Friendly & efficient.
Just as the Dallas heat wave started we our downstairs a/c stopped working. As long-time (~6 years) subscription clients of Rescue Air we have been happy with their regular maintenance service.
The exceptional service we received by Roman is a perfect example of that happiness. I came home from work on Friday and the thermostat was black and downstairs hot.
Not a good a good combination as the first heat wave of the summer started. Called for an appointment first thing Saturday morning and we were added to the queue.
Marianne from the office team kept us apprised by text of our place in line, gave me a "Next in Line" text and call and then when our tech was finished gave me a call to let me know. First plus is getting a tech out on a Saturday just ~4 hours after I called on probably the hottest Saturday of the year so far.
When Roman arrived he was pleasant and professional when introducing himself and listening to what the situation was. We were preparing for an afternoon pool party and 30 guests so while I went around by business, Roman went to work identifying and fixing our problem.
Roman kept us updated with his status while he was working and got us back up and running. Working in a hot attic on a Saturday seemed not to affect Roman at all - he was jovial, shared a few jokes and stories while we did our best to keep him hydrated with H20.
Keep Rescue Air on your speed dial - best in class! Called needing an estimate for a sewer line clean out with camera to determine if we needed to repair or replace the entire thing as it had been giving us a lot of problems. Was given a same day appointment which was great until they called last minute to reschedule.
I was annoyed and they knew it. Shortly thereafter, I was contacted by I believe the owner, who apologized for the misunderstanding and had a plumber out here that evening to come up with an estimate and plan of action.
I was very impressed with the phone call as well as Oscar the plumber that was sent out! We realized we were going to have to replace the line and Oscar gave us a very fair estimate. When we mentioned that we were also in need of a hot water heater he gave us a great deal on that as well.
A crew was out the next morning and while having your lawn dug up is never a fun event - these guys were fast and tidy! The whole process lasted only a couple days and was smooth and professional. I never felt pressured, there was no upselling whatsoever and the price they quoted was the price we paid.
No extras or hidden costs. I would absolutely recommend this company for any plumbing need.
They will be the first place I call when needed. Sometimes it feels like you"re just crossing your fingers and hoping for the best, but rest assured these guys really know what they are doing! Rescue Air & Plumbing has been my HVAC service for at least 3 years now and I have been very pleased.
Yesterday, though, was over the top. Kyle Verburg is THE BEST technician I have worked with at Rescue Air! He takes customer service seriously and wants his customers to be 100% happy.
Just got an entire new unit at our home, inside and out. As well as all new duct.
Mel, Randy, and Chris if a quality install. They were very professional and timely and respectful.
They showed us pics of before and after and provided detailed explanations on everything they were doing thru the process. The new unit/system works great and my wife and I are extremely pleased with the fantastic work.
Recommend Mel and Randy and Chris to anyone needing repair, and you can expect professional services. As someone else said, they don't actually schedule appointments, but put you on a "list," which actually ends up being an 8 hour window.
After being on the "list" all day, and after a few text updates, they called at 4:00 and said the "should be able" to have someone out in "a couple of hours." This seems unprofessionally vague and unacceptable, so I will not be using them at any time. No idea if the work is any good because they could not manage to make it out in a reasonable time.
Never had this problem with the predecessor company I had used before. They did offer me a "first call" or "first morning appointment" for the next day, which I declined because I have no idea what that might actually mean.
I contacted Rescue Air for three reasons. Firstly, the company has received excellent reviews across various social networks.
Secondly, its headquarters are located quite close to Richardson, TX. And thirdly, the company can be reached through various channels.
I was able to schedule a technician appointment with Rescue Air for the following day, before noon. The technician assigned to me was Roman Arnold.
He provided exceptional customer service and explained to me that my AC unit, which was over 40 years old, was no longer of any use and that it would be better to replace it rather than waste money on repairing it. He did not pressure me into purchasing anything.
Following this, I decided to replace the entire first-floor system with Rescue Air. As of now, the installation crew is still working, and I will update this review once the installation is complete.
It's been 25 years since I had my heating/av units replaced. I called Rescue Air.
Jeff came out to look at what we had. And I knew it would be time for replacement.
He was really helpful by explaining all that was wrong and outdated This guy knows his AC/heating stuff. We signed up for the complete replacement.
The next morning at 8am they were at my door ready to work! There were 3 guys Melvin the lead and Francisco and Randy. They make a great team.
All very courteous and respectful not only to me but to each other. They worked so well together.
It's a messy job getting the old unit out of the house. But they covered the from the front door to the main unit.
When they left it was just as clean or cleaner than when they got here I forgot her name but the girl I spoke to in their office is a real human! She was so nice and pleasant to talk to and she even laughed at my corny jokes ! I highly recommend Rescue Air. They have an amazing customer oriented team Thank you all !! Randy F.
(No I'm not the Randy that did the work) I just received Air conditioning service from Roman, who works for Rescue Home Services. He was extremely professional.
He kept me informed of his arrival. When he came, he was very polite and informative.
Roman truly cared about my family's well-being. He made me feel comfortable that he knew what he was doing and he wasn't condescending about it at all.
I would always recommend him. He's the best HVAC Technician I have ever worked with! The former company Texas Green replaced my cast iron kitchen lines four years ago.
Recently I started having issues with the same line. Rescue Air came out and inspected.
They found that Texas Green did not replaced all cast iron that connects to the new main line. I'm no plumber, I had paid for my entire kitchen to replaced with PVC and now I'm having small back ups.
Rescue Air mentioned that the work done is under warranty but they mentioned that I needed to pay for half of the digging required to fix what should have been replaced the first time around. Something doesn't seem right to me.
Beware! Update-11/28/23 Randy and Oscar with Rescue Air contacted me and came out quickly to address my issue. They took ownership of the mistake made previously by Texas Green and at no additional charge had a new tunnel dug to replace the cast iron 90 with PVC.
Rescue Air also found and fixed an issue where the prior company didn't use proper pipe hangers which was causing my line to slump under my house. I'm proud to say that this company came through and did right by their warranty.
Oscar is the main with helping us fix our exterior faucet! Rescue air and plumbing have serviced our needs before and will continue to in the future! Tyler is a plumbing rock star! He takes the time to thoroughly explain your options. I appreciate the way they approach the job so much that I signed up for their membership program.
Hire these guys with confidence! Roman was awesome!! He quickly diagnosed the issue worked with us for long term solution. Great experience and a pleasure to work with! Roman was great with Rescue Air! He came through and helped me with my A/C system.
He was thorough with explaining the situation which I found incredibly helpful. He fast and efficient.
He provided my best options moving forward and I'd highly recommend booking him again. I had an exceptional experience with Rescue Air! My air conditioner broke down around 2 in 100 degree plus heat going on 40 days i texas and upon calling them the operator's immediately answered scheduled an appointment for the SAME DAY .
Blake and Roman arrived without delay wn 45 minutes diving straight into diagnosing the issue. Within just half an hour, they not only pinpointed the problem but also restarted my existing system and it's ice cold again! What impressed me even more was their insight into various preventive and other options My system along w some with 0% awesome financing options over 60 months in this rate environment it's perfect .
Their professionalism, extensive knowledge, and efficiency were truly outstanding. A huge thank you to Rescue Air for ensuring my air conditioning kept me cool this summer.
From the operators to the technicians like Blake and Roman, your team is unparalleled in the industry. THANK YOU Five stars all the way! I felt like I was part of the family Always Keeping it cool thanks Rescue Air So friendly and good at what they do! Our A/C unit just randomly stopped, and ROMAN came out the next day and fixed it so quickly.
Great service. We love being on the Family Plan.'''.
