All these and more define my experience with Sunny Service. They were the second plumbing business to diagnose a leak on my property.
I was unsure if it was irrigation or slab, but my water bill said serious leak running 24/7, somedays 800 gallons. Geezuss take the wheel.
The first company determined it was a slab leak. Was going to charge me $400 to run a test, then estimated the repair between $10k and $15k.
I called them to diagnose the issue, but they didn't bring the equipment. Told them Sunny was coming @noon, but they could return @2pm if Sunny didn't find the issue.
Called Sunny to make sure they camed prepped to do a full diagnosis. They showed up promptly and prepared.
They first checked the house. Well, whaddayaknow, it wasn't the expensive slab leak the other company said it was.
They checked the irrigation system. Yep, I had a line leak.
Was told it wasn't their wheelhouse, though they could fix it, they suggested I hire an irrigation specialist and save money. That was twice they showed just how honest they are in not taking advantage where clearly another had.
I had a separate plumbing issue I let them takle. Paid them, bought them lunch, hired an irrigation company that fixed the leak.
Thanks to Sunny services, my next water bill won't be jacked up. Have a great day.
Need an honest plumbing company? Sunny Services. Ray was great! We needed someone to be qualified, honest and fair in price and he was all of these things.
Ray installed two primary bath faucets that desperately needed replacing. They work perfectly and he was so clean in his work.
Everything was pristine. Definitely pleased with Sunny Service and a job well done! Really quick response time.
And I didn't have to pay an emergency/after hours fee. Chase and his team showed up at 8am and stayed until the job was done 8pm.
Chase truly went above and beyond in how he explained everything and what was being done. They do offer financing incase you have a bigger job like myself but I appreciate the honesty of him and his team.

Our A/C fan quit one evening and I called Sunny Service right away. Their dispatcher assured me we'd have someone out the following day and she was right on.
Abdu Elhaddad was here the next morning and he was friendly, on time, and knowledgable. When the fan started up while he was evaluating the situation, he was smart and waited to see if it would quit again.
It did. He determined the cause to be the capacitor, and he explained why that was and why it had quit.
Of course, I gave him the go-ahead to fix it. His work was thorough and he explained all that he did, providing photos and a write-up as well.

Came out twice to fix my AC both times only worked for a few weeks. Now we are just having to buy another unit.
We could have done that in the first place instead of spending over $1000 to fix. The initial reason I had a service call, was because my heater stopped working.
It turned out to be a fried contact. I was quoted $495 for to replace.
I don't know what A/C parts cost, so I accepted the job. While the technician was on site for service, I asked him if he would please swap out the old thermostat with a new one.
I provided the new thermostat. He said he would.
He quoted me $139 labor, for the job. I agreed, because I didn't know what that entailed.
It took the tech 10-15 min. to swap it out.
That is $556-$695 per hour. I feel like I was taken advantage of.
Now I'm not sure if I was taken advantage of with the contact replacement. We hired Sunny Service to check our HVAC, since the downstairs unit was not working.
The main positive note was when he inspected the wrong unit to start with, he did briefly inspect the correct unit without charging another fee. Although we did have to get a manager on the line, since he originally planned on charging us double.
When Brandon inspected our fully functional and working unit, he said that it needed a full replacement due to the units age and being dirty. This unit was working correctly, and he inspected it by mistake thinking we only had one unit and it was broken.
When he inspected the actual broken unit, he said it also needed to be fully replaced. I asked for a ball park estimate of the cost, and he stated $15,000-$30,000 per unit, which is a whopping $30,000-$60,000 for a 1,500 sqft house.
We got the service done last week, and never received any invoice, pictures/video of the inspection, or any other report. Thank you so much for sending awesome technicians to my home.

James Roseborough Juan and Jeremiah were A+++ Terrific. We had them over for a duct cleaning and they were on time, professional, and real nice guys.
The entire experience was above and beyond. They were able to document the removal of a lot of built up disgusting material (they'll have before and after pictures and videos to help you get a full overview of how much crap was in your ducting).
Cleaning was done in the ducts and in the air handler, my HVAC equipment looked brand new by the time they were done. The team left my attic and every other workspace cleaner than it was prior to their arrival and also vacuumed the house after the job (small particles might fall out of the vents - their machine has a brush and a vacuum that scrubs your ducting clean but a little bit can fall out).
Once again, the theme is above and beyond - they did a great job, documented that job well, left everything in better condition than prior to their arrival, and were extremely professional. Absolutely AMAZING! We own a rental in Arlington and got a call that the air conditioning was not working on Sunday morning.

We talked about maintenance and he was out in under 2 hours. So I called them again for maintenance.
Brandon came (a different Brandon) and he was professional and very nice. I just needed maintenance.
I gave him the filters to replace the ones in my two systems. After inspection Brandon found that the pan was full on my down unit and the drain for it was plugged.
He also said I would be charged double because I had two systems, while before I had regular price. The charge for two systems plus draining the pan was $300.
I liked Brandon. The whole time Brandon was here doing maintenance he had the unit set at 68, it was very very cold!!! After Brandon left, I found the lower air was not working.
I tried a few things with the thermostat and called Sunny and booked another (follow-up) apt. Jeremiah came the next day at 10AM.
He was prompt and professional. He popped the thermostat off (which had not been done yesterday) and checked the inside unit.
He then asked to look at the outside unit. He said the wiring was wrong on the outside unit and that when Brandon had fixed the drain, he had rewired it wrong.
The unit was kicking on and then shutting off. Jeremiah called for advice from the company.
I asked if a senior tech could come out and put it back the way it was yesterday when it was running great. Justin from Sunny called (who is a manager).
He advised that it should be fixed and that it was rewired wrong. Lower unit is off and Jermiah is still working on it.
I will update this review after they get it fixed and I do not have to call them back. Apparently when the system was "fixed" yesterday, but it was wired back incorrectly.
After Jermiah worked on it (and rewired the outside unit), the air appears to be fixed (Thank you!!) but the thermostat appears to be stuck on a higher number. I asked him if a sensor could have been damaged when he popped it off, but he said it just needed to sit in the cool air for a while to register (he was here for at least a half hour and it did not go down).
Update: I set the system on auto and it seems to be working for now. Took 4 hours to work.
I did asked the manager for comp for the extra day due to the error in wiring and extra day of work and have not heard on it. Final analysis: No one with senior skill levels.
Professional and nice young techs. This not only cost me the $300 but two days salary.
If I was a rich person I would pay for them to have a few days training.....they have the soft skills and are very good people, just need more comprehensive tech skills. Brandon completed a very through inspection of HVAC, even reapplied wire the correct way to avoid any mechanical problems.
After he did his mechanical inspection, our hvac blowing at 58-60 degrees compared to nearly 75-78 before he arrived. Great job and very satisfied.

The service man showed up and fixed my furnace problem immediately, He was professional, efficient and a gentleman. I signed a service contract with the company for annual inspection service of both heating and air conditioning.
We had a very old unit, 12 Seers I believe, that needed to be updated. We went through Costco and they sent out Sunny Service.
I am more than pleased with the professionalism, price, and attention given us by every person involved in new installation. During our consultation, Brendon walked through the house and did measurements of every room and calculated the correct size we needed for our new unit.
No one else did this, and his size was the smallest of the quotes(and smaller than what we had) we had gotten from other places. He was so patient with me.
When I was concerned about his measurement being the smaller of the units quoted, he had another gentleman come out and remeasure, coming up with the same size. I can not stress this enough, MAKE SURE YOUR CONTRACTOR MEASURES BY DOING A MANUAL J / MANUAL D AS REQUIRED BY THE ACCA (Air Conditioning Contractors of America) Brendon did everything to regulation standards.
And I can say, even though the other contractors all said this size was wrong and wouldn't work, it has. It is very common to get too big a unit because they don't take the time to measure like it is required.
We also decided to have our duct work redone. Ended up they moved the location of the new unit in the attic to make it more accessible, hung it, and made a new vent hole.
I was surprised by how much extra work they ended up doing for the original quoted price. There was never any communication problems and they wore masks and shoe covers.
Of course during installation is such extreme heat of an attic, they can't wear masks. Not a problem for me.
They are not perfect, they are human. A knee went through our ceiling and a step on our old wooden ladder broke.
But they are taking care of it and I get a new ladder that's up to code, so even the bad is a win for me. They did miss cleaning a couple of rooms, but what they did clean was very clean.
You can tell this company has great work ethics and cares about their reputation. I will be recommending them to others.
I have used Sunny Service a handful of times over the years, most recently to replace our AC unit, redo all of our duct work and add insulation to our home. I cannot say enough good things about our experience - from Tim who came to diagnose our issue, to Todd who quoted our job to the crew they sent to install our AC, everyone was knowledgeable, kind and responsive.
I especially appreciate the crew they sent to install the new AC. We've had a lot of work done on our house over the past year and this was by far the most hard working crew I've seen.

Great same day service very professional and on time replaced blower motor in no time very satisfied Called to find out if they worked on Mini-split systems and what the charge would be to evac the lines and do a leak test. The guy who answered the phone put me on hold for over 15 minutes, then came back on and asked when I wanted to schedule the service.
I told him 1: that I just needed to know if they did that service and 2: what the charge would be. He informed me that they don't give pricing over the phone.

The air temperature inside my home is amazing. The crew at Sunny Service did an amazing install to get the new system up and running in late July in Texas when the temperature was 102 with a heat index of 108.

One of our a/c unit needed 2 parts to be replaced. After an initial assessment which happened to be on a holiday, but with no extra surcharge, the parts were ordered and the repairs were scheduled within 48 hrs.
Brandon came a little earlier than the appointment, he wore shoe covers, gloves and a mask. We appreciated him taking these precautions.
