From the moment I made the call to book an appointment to the time our Tech, Caleb Mayes came out, overall process was extremely smooth. I received a text from Caleb saying he was in route and arrived within 15 minutes of the text.
I showed him all items needing to be corrected in our inspection and he ran with! We had everything corrected in a short amount of time. Their staff was professional, friendly and curious.
We also had Hector and another gentleman stop in to do a few things! Zero complaints!! I am very pleased with TopTech Electric and Plumbing. Our front bathroom toilet wasn't flushing.
Our sinks had been stopping up. This had been going on for a while.
The tech came out the next day. He was on time.

This alone is a small miracle. The team basically replaced all our underground bathroom plumbing for both bathrooms.

Called to get a price on switching out 4 rocker switches for 4 dimmer switches. The lady in the scheduling office couldn't give me a price and said they'd send someone out to "evalutate" the job and give me an "estimate".
I'm sorry but they should have some idea how much it takes to change out a switch. Found a guy to do all 4 for a flat fee of 175.00 I had an issue with my garbage disposal.
Using Google, I booked an appointment and TopTech quickly replied confirming my appointment. The day before my appointment, TopTech sent me an email and text reminding me of my appointment.
On the day of, I received multiple notifications letting me know my service professional, Dillan Ashton, was on his way (including a picture so I knew who would be coming to my door). He arrived within the time frame provided.
And, within 45 minutes, Dillan provided quick and professional service by finding the problem, providing a solution, and installing the fix. I would definitely use them again and recommend TopTech to others as well.
Our water heater was leaking, so we called TopTech. As we are VIP customers, someone was sent within an hour or so of the request.
Dillon was timely, attentive, thorough, patient and very polite. He spent several hours on our project! But, he was polite and patient throughout.

Serviceman Jesse suspected a missing washer in the valve hose, and sure enough it was lodged in the toilet tank input. I had him look at a tiny gas link underneath my stove, and he was able to quickly figure out the problem and seal it up - something the Atmos guy wasn't able to do.
I'll reuse this company in the future. Very fair pricing, friendly and knowledgeable expert.
Changing my rating to 5 as the owner reached out to me and explained there was a new person in the office and they could service my home without me being there but needed the renter there and my authorization for work. Will try them next job and I trust they will do 5 star work as I originally expected.

PLUMBING: Upgraded my old outdoor water faucet that was leaking and shooting water out everywhere whenever the garden hose was attached. He was very nice and detailed and made sure that I didn't have any other plumbing issues that needed to be addressed before leaving.
I will absolutely continue to use this company for any/all future plumbing/electrical needs. Photos of the old faucet versus the new one :) ELECTRICAL: Rey is "the king" for sure! What I thought would be a simple replacement of two nonworking electrical outlets turned out to be extensive troubleshooting on his end due to what sounds like some "not up to par" previous electrical work on my home.
Turns out it was a GFCI outlet that had actually had some burning on the inside wiring and a couple of wires connected the way they shouldn't have been. He was beyond determined to troubleshoot and figure out the problem and fix the problem and in the end that is exactly what he did along with explaining everything in detail in "non-electrical person" terms the entire time! I will absolutely continue to use this company for any/all future plumbing/electrical needs.
Photos of some of the old outlets versus the new ones :) Had one side of the kitchen electric go out, and Top Tech electric was very professional. Calabe and Marco were very efficient with getting the power back on! They explained how and why everything things was going to cost what it did.

Marco was the technician and he did a great job fixing our oven wiring/junction box situtation. He was quick, efficient and didn't even mind being constantly supervised by a two-year-old.
I felt like the whole experience was straightforward and honest, didn't get that feeling I've had with some other companies of being sold unneccesary repairs. We will definitely use TopTech again in the future.

I hired TopTech Electric about a year ago to install a NEMA 14-50 plug in my garage and they did a wonderful job for a good price, so I brought them back when I got my new house, but this time to hardwire a Tesla wall charger. My technician Marco was friendly, knowledgeable, and did great work.
I just gave him a general area of where I wanted it, and he positioned it perfectly. That's twice in a row that this company has knocked it out of the park.

I'm a handy person, and I did some basic troubleshooting myself, and I knew it wasn't the breaker. All indications were it was some kind of neutral-to-ground fault, which is notoriously difficult to find.

Three hours before the appointment they call to cancel, that the emplyee who scheduled my appointment "made an error." No details. This is unprofessional, sloppy and irresponsible.
I wouldn't want them in my home if they are that incapable. TopTech was nothing but professional, courteous, and effective at scheduling, communication and complex troubleshooting.
Absolute professionals- they had to do a complex installation for me, and they were able to resolve the challenges associated with various code requirements, ordering the CORRECT components the first time (love them for that) etc. They delivered, and made me happy.
I am rating them 4 out of 5, simply because their costs are fairly high (they quoted me an exorbitant $ to only swap out a ceiling fan at a 15' height indoors, which I declined outside of the original job they were at my home for). I chose them anyhow because of their quality of service, warranty, and the expert electrician staff.
Would use again despite the higher cost- but be sure to understand the work you're doing clearly so you can work with them effectively from a cost perspective. Know what you can do yourself safely, and what you realize is best to pay a licensed/insured professional to accomplish- which will save you that heartache in the long run in case of a bad DIY job! I had been told by another company in the area that I needed to have my home rewired at the cost of $8000. The Top Tech technician came in and said that the diodes in my LED lights were going bad and all I needed to do was change out the light bulbs.
Imagine my relief, surprise, and gratitude for such a simple fix! I replaced the light bulbs 3 weeks ago and sure enough that remedied my problem. No more flickering lights! Their name says it all.

He seems highly knowledgeable and capable of doing the needed repairs. I was going to recommend to my wife that he be the one to fix our electrical problem.
However, after he left, the owner called, first trying to pressure me, telling me that the estimate was free but Caleb came to give an estimate and DO the repairs. To me, that means the estimate isn't free.
After a couple of minutes, his tone switched to berating and belittling me, telling me what I had said to the tech(though it was not true), and cutting me off/talking over me every time I tried to speak. Eventually, I told him he had just lost my business.
A few minutes later, he called from his cell phone to start in on me again. I again told him he lost my business, and then hung up on him.
Beware, their free estimate is free, but you are then expected to let them do the repairs, according to Mike the owner. I will not use this company due to the harassment by the owner Mike.
We recently had a snow storm in Texas and knock-out a circuit breaker and a few outlets. TopTech Electric showed up, scoped the area and recommended a surge protection for the whole house.

I had Mike out from TopTech today to review some items we'd like to have done to the home. He was excellent - he listened to my questions and concerned and was able to give me a solid quote within minutes.
What I like most is that he heard my ramblings and was able to provide a quote with several options which is just what I wanted. They take pictures of everything and it's all logged on their side under your home address, so when you want to pull the trigger on the work itself, there's no confusion on their end.
It is definitely worth the small service cost to have a legitimate professional on site to review your scope of work and give you a quote. I have mostly a positive opinion of this service, but it was extremely expensive $400 to replace a breaker seems about twice what it should have been.
On the positive, they were on time, friendly and even though they didnt have the part they found a vendor with the part and had everything fixed quickly I HIGHLY recommend TopTech!
