An HVAC system is only as good as the installers, and Medley had the best. We had team lead Jesus, along with Francisco and Jose, do the install.
They were excellent, answered all our questions, and went the extra mile to assure that we were completely happy customers. Well, it happened.
The week before the 4th of July the 5 ton AC that handles the downstairs of my house died. 11 year old Goodman with a 10 year warranty went to AC Heaven.
Coil and condenser needed to be replaced. The upstairs AC was working and Medley was taking care of emergency customers with NO AC so it took 5 days for them to make it to my place for the install.
If you want to appreciate AC, try not having it for 6 days in Texas. Everyone from the tech who came out to try and fix the original to the 4 guys who did the install were professional and courteous.
Each introduced themselves when they came in and they managed to get the old unit out and the new one in without damaging anything in my house. They got it installed and working in about 5 hours.
When the cold air came on I swear I heard angels sing. They put a system in at my in-laws house 3 years ago and my house today.

My A/C stopped cooling all of a sudden. I knew it's time to replace my 20+ years old AC unit.
I called and got several diagnosis and estimates from different companies including the assigned company through my Home Warranty Service. Then I found 5 star Medley Heating/AC through Yelp.
They dispatched Mason (brother of Medley owner, Texas) next day for their second opinion. Mason was very polite, professional and knowledgeable.
He did temporary fix so that my place became livable with over 100F heat until my AC unit is replaced. Texas, owner provided me the estimate with reasonable price for one of the best brand equipment right away.
Also they provide many payment options which is very helpful for this unexpected timing, since AC unit replacement is pretty costly! But I thought it's going to be part of my asset, not just expense, so I wanted to buy reliable, good quality unit from trustworthy company, even though another company gave me a little less estimate. 2 business days later, technicians came to install the new AC unit.
They were also polite, and explained well about the unit to me. They completed the work without wasting time or damage.
The entire process was very smooth and comfortable. Tiler, financing and all other admin team were also kind and professional.

Reflecting the opposite of me (hot after a night of no A/C), he was completely chill and definitely knew what he was doing.
He didn't talk down to me about "proper maintenance" like most companies do; I know a little (enough to fix or at least troubleshoot nearly all of it before I need a tech), and I felt respected with the things I had tested prior to their arrival. The unit needed a new fan motor, but since this wasn't your bog-standard fan motor, it required Brett calling a few places to see if one was in stock for a quick turnaround due to the greater than 100 degree temps we've been having.
One was found, and a follow up install was scheduled for first thing tomorrow morning. Not cheap, but it's "what I paid for" when I got the unit I did 10 years ago.

I've used them twice in the past three years or so, and they've been top notch both times, but today was just over the top! Today they installed a spanking new Trane HVAC system, helped me get set up to control the system on my phone, cleaned up every shred of mess they might have made, honestly leaving my garage cleaner than it had been before their arrival, and went the extra mile by having another employee bring out some brick blocks to place under the concrete slab holding the AC unit outside so it wouldn't become unstable with rain and washout in the future.

Medley had good reviews, so I called them. They came out the next day, made a thorough diagnosis of my air conditioner, including tracking down a parts warrantee that was still in effect, and left me with a loaner air conditioner which I used until the warrantee part came in.
The air conditioner works fine a week after they fixed it, so there were no problems and the work was completely satisfactory. The technicians were very friendly and thorough.
I took out a yearly maintenance contract with them after they finished repairing my air conditioner. Amazing! Texas helped resolve an easy issue over the phone and save a trip to my side of town.
I'd recommend this company to anyone and I'm saving his number for future problems. I had called another company to work on the AC only to have it stop working after two days.
They wanted to charge another new service fee to come back out. I called Medley and spoke to Texas.
After giving him a run down he suggested checking the air filter and call him back. It did needed to be changed badly! First company never checked it.
It still was not blowing air so I called Texas back and he had me check the unit outside for ice. Low and behold there was ice! He said to leave the unit off for a few hours then turn it back on, if that didn't work to call him to come look at it.
This very professional and honest gentleman did not take advantage of me and come out and check these issues and charge me. Texas will get my business from here on out! There are still honest businesses that believe in integrity.

However, the entire crew will take care of you, explain in a much detail as you want, for whatever your HVAC needs you are. They are my company, and my first call for a/c or heating issues that I would have.
I trust them to make things right, stand behind it, and do exceptional work. Trust is hard to come by in the a/c world.
Lots of advertising doesn't necessarily mean you can trust them. In my opinion, those ads have to get paid for somehow.
I had my 7-year-old a/c unit begin not cooling and the outside compressor was making an awful noise. Oh, and I forgot to mention, this was in the heat of summer in June, 2022.
Well, got scheduled for service, next day, due the hour. They came out, and sure enough, it turned out the cooling coils were shot, and needed replacement.
Supply still being tight, it was going to take a bit to get the part and replace it. So, they went over all my options, and we agreed on the replacement.
They did try to get it under warranty, but this was a builder installed unit and the warranty ran out. But they did agree to recharge the system to keep us coolish until the replacement.
Well, it took about 72 hours, and out again. This time, Texas himself, agreed to swing by and see if a charge to the system would keep us cool, until service could get to us.
He ended up doing this twice for us. Just top-notch Customer Service.
The coils were then replaced, and the system was back to great cooling. Job was done right, and we are so grateful.
Since then, I joined their maintenance plan, that includes a twice a year checkup, one for heat and one for the A/C. I can tell you that this is the smartest money you can spend on your HVAC system.

Our upstairs AC stopped cooling so we called and they came the same day. After looking at our system the tech said it was leaking and needed a coil replaced.
However, the tech told us someone else had to come to fix it next day and we heard him give the part number over the phone. Sounds fine right? Well, they did send someone over the next day.
All he did was try to upsell us to replace our system. He even suggested we replace our fairly new furnace because with discounts it would be "almost" free.
Thing he didn't do? Fix the actual issue. He didn't quote or talk about the coil replacement.
After 30 minutes of hearing him try to sell us a new system we were just put off entirely. Fixed my heater during the recent winter freeze and with the power going off and on, it added an additional layer of difficulty to it.
Even so, communication was excellent and we got it figured out. Big shout out to Texas, my HVAC tech.
He was great. I woke up on a Sunday to my AC not cooling.
I did a quick Google search to see who was open and working on Sundays, and I saw that Rescue Air had good reviews and could be to my house within the next couple of hours. Their guy showed up, told me I needed a whole new system (it is pretty old) and quoted me $8,000 for my 1100 sqft.

My dad then called a couple of guys, one quoted him $6,500 over the phone and the other guy said he'd come by and check it out when he finished the job he was on. That guy was Texas (Medley).
He was over within the hour, and I realized he had helped me with my AC a couple of years ago (his memory is better than mine). He opened it up and immediately found a big hole in the starter.
He replaced that for $200 and we were back up and running in no time. He also quoted me $6,000 to replace my AC unit when it's time.

Our AC broke down on a Sunday, and I desperately started searching HVAC companies since we are in the thick of a Texas summer. I jumped on the website for Medley and a live chat immediately popped up.
I spoke with Ashley at 9pm at night and she was able to schedule and appointment right away for the very next afternoon. Taylor arrived on time and was extremely thorough, checking all aspects of our air conditioning in the house and the unit outside.
He not only fixed the issue and cleaned the filter in our unit as well, but also explained in detail how we could improve our AC maintenance and helped sign us up for a yearly maintenance plan. We will definitely be using them again in the future! Amazing service.
My heat went out in the middle of the 2022 Christmas freeze. The tech, Cody, explained everything upfront after he inspected the system.
He had my home cozy warm in about an hour. I felt the charges were fair and actually less than what I anticipated.
Cody is a fine and honest man, and I have a lot of respect for him and his company. In short: We are happy and will use them again! The Long: I think this is our new go-to HVAC service company for our home! So far we have only had a thorough inspection of our system to determine where and why we have water outside the unit.
We have not begun repair/maintenance yet so I will come back to this review to share about that. We are very happy with help from Shaun Bice and Tim (I believe that was his name), whom I first spoke to when calling to make an appointment.
Tim was kind, understanding and personable. Shaun was our Service Manager/Technician who was very knowledgeable of our much older system (that was a big plus), detailed, thorough, did not mind to explain to me how various parts of the system worked, respectful, kind and honest.

I've always gotten at least 3 quotes for things, but went a little overboard this time. I got 7 quotes, all the way from the guy who poked his head into the attic and spouted a number to Texas Medley, who spent a good bit of time determining what was needed and explained everything wonderfully.
The quote was fair, the work was excellent and advice was on-point. All the research I did said that the equipment you buy is about 10% of what determines if the install goes well or not.
90% is a good installer. So if you are in the market, call these guys.
This isn't a company where a sales guy comes out, gives you a quote and hands it off to some sub-contractor who does the work while the owner spends his days working on his tee shot in Barbados. Texas did the quote, was my point of contact and led his crew on the install.
And thats what makes a good install. Theres a lot to be said about having an HVAC guy that you can count on, especially in our area where AC isn't a luxury, its a necessity.

Having just moved to Texas during a recent heat wave, I had been worried my older unit (16yr old 5-ton AC unit) was not going to survive. Well today it went out.
Naturally I started calling around to find a HVAC company that could come ASAP. I had one company come out right away (highly reviewed FYI...and they went into full sales-pitch mode.
Saying my units were shot and I needed new units and proceeded to quote me a price high enough to buy a car with. At first I was almost suckered in.
But I wanted a second opinion, so I called Medley based on their yelp and google reviews. Texas Medley (one of the owners) was out to my house at 7:30pm making a special call just to try and help.
And guess what? He FIXED my supposedly catastrophically failed unit in about an hour. And he DID NOT try and sell me a new unit or take advantage of me.
In fact, he went above and beyond to make sure my unit was working as well as it could. My house went from 85 degrees to 75 degrees in the last hour, and I will sleep well tonight because of Medley.

My thermostat bit the dust, so I called multiple AC companies to try and get someone to come out. Unfortunately a busted thermostat isn't urgent and most of the people I called shrugged me off.

I ran across Medley air via some recommendations on the Nextdoor app forum. I could not be more pleased.
I called and Texas answered the phone late on a Thursday last week. I had an issue with the CO detectors in my house and he was kind enough to walk me through some diagnostics.
It turned out to being a simple fix, both detectors decided to fail within 24 hours of each other. I fixed it myself, new detectors on Texas's recommendation.
I proceeded to ask about an A/C service because I had not done one since buying the home 4 years ago. Texas offered to come out Sunday but I said Monday would be more than fine.

June 14. A/C wasn't blowing cold air and it was 84 degrees in the house.
Called a bunch of companies but Mr. Texas Medley was the ONLY one who answered the phone.
Came to the house within 20 minutes and replaced the evaporator blower motor AND topped off the Freon in about an hour. Very knowledgeable and thorough.
Did not try to up-sell. He took the time to check the ducts/vents and gave us tips on what we could do to keep the attic cooler.

The service was seamless- he showed up the following morning (when he said) around 9:30. He was so fast, efficient, and professional! The amount he quoted me for the freon per pound was exactly what he charged.
Their pricing compared to other companies is SO reasonable and their reviews are great (and rightly so). I have never used the same air conditioning company twice cause I've never been impressed.
