Review and analyze now for company Re-Bath and provide the analysis in the discussed format for the following reviews: '''Impressive Service! I was definitely skeptical when we were told that only one guy would be doing the install. But, Jordan sure changed my mind.
His skills are most impressive! He was on time, professional, knowledgeable, very mindful to protect the house and so efficient in his work. Definitely a man of many talents.
He completed the entire install in 2 days. Niels was very pleasant and comfortable to work with from the beginning for this tub to shower project, he answered all of our questions.
It was a fair price for the quality and a lifetime warranty. I will be calling them again for a second bathroom project.
Way beyond my expectations! Chris and Sean were the best! One bathroom tub and shower installed. One shower cave remodeled! Both are just beautiful.
Chris and Sean were both very professional and they worked so hard to make both bathrooms perfect! Rather expensive but well worth the cost. Again way beyond our expectations! We needed to have our garden tub/shower converted to a walk-in shower.
Re-Bath did a superb job. Every step was explained and done perfectly.
They were completely done in 3 days. So pleased.
The two guys were so very nice and polite and quiet. This is exactly what we needed.
Thank you Re-Bath!! Yes, it was expensive. I would choose Re-Bath again because: 1) on time, 2) completely gutted bathroom completed in less than 10 days, 3) absolutely no clean up for me or dust, 4) high quality products, 5) friendly and responsive service from all teams, especially Dago's.
I've tried and left 4 messages and emails with the Round Rock office and not once heard any reply from them regarding a complete bathroom remodel. They just lost there business from me.
I attempted to make an appointment for a quote and they would not schedule without my wife being present. My wife works full-time and we have an infant.
Her one request was that she did not have to be involved in this process. Rebath refused to get us on the calendar.
Interesting business practice. Absolutely TERRIBLE and EXPENSIVE!! Stay away from this place.
They definitely do NOT work well with customized jobs. I have a older home with non-standard measurements for the bathroom vanity and it took at least three attempts to get the cabinets and vanity top correct.
There was about 4 weeks of looking at my bathroom wall with no sinks or cabinets and open water-filled pvc pipes before the job was finalized. We never heard back from the salesman after the initial consultation and signing of the papers.
Another office staff called to setup installation date. It was evident with our experience that this company has no communication between the sales staff or production/installation staff.
This is in response to their response of our original review. Saying that this was to "repair a leak" and that it was for two bathrooms is a complete bold faced lie.
We do have numerous full baths but the quote was for the master bath with a thin veneer of marble on their special backing (presumably so they can use less marble) all around on a prefab shower pan with a ridiculously priced acrylic bathtub and vinyl flooring. There are no leaks in the bathroom and to imply that is just offensive.
The installers were very profession and completed the job within their estimate. Had a long delay between the initial order and the installation due to pandemic and other issue but they worked with us on schedule.
We are satisfied with the work and they cleaned the jobsite after the work was done. Highly recommended.
Workers were incredibly efficient and courteous. Bathroom looks awesome.
Thanks to John Brewer for locating two suitable new faucets (which is not so easy due to the current surge in home improvement) and performing a difficult installation. The old faucets had non-standard HVAC drain attachments that required a lot of custom plumbing work.
We have used Re-Bath for two previous projects and will continue to hire them for any future work. This has been be far the worst experience I have had with any company.
It's to the point that it's a joke if this job will be finished. The only good thing is the installer who is amazing and deserves a better employer.
We ordered our new bathroom from Re-Bath in JANUARY of this year. As of today, June 15, it is still not finished.
The issue is with the niche-shelf. It was pieced together very sloppily, and so far, after numerous phone calls and emails to the project manager and his assistant, we have had no response.
Promises of getting the niche redone haven't even been followed up on by phone or email. My impression after all this is that as pleasant as they are, these people have no idea what they're doing, and their contractors are not as skilled as they think they are, have no sense of design and no standards of excellence.
I am just disgusted, and I have no idea whether or not this is ever going to get resolved. I really wish now that we had spent more money to get a skilled non-franchise bathroom remodeler to do the job.
The crew from Re-bath was professional and very pleasant to work with. Thanks to Austin, Tyler, Cory, and John for their excellent installation of our new shower and bath surround.
Really enjoying the new shower. ReBath remodeled our master bath shower 4 years ago and we loved the results! This year our diverter valve began to leak so we gave them a call.
They ordered the replacement part and quickly came out and replaced it at no cost to us. Great responsiveness & service! Was a great all around experience.
Troy and Corey were on time, finished on time and did a great installation. Would recommend them to all my friends and family.
When time for my next remodel this is who I will call Buyer be very aware!!! I spent 40K on my bathroom with Re-Bath and had to bring someone else in to fix only some of the problems that Re-Bath is unequipped, or unwilling to handle. This was only the necessary items such as the shower pan calk, (because they used the wrong calk...really you do bathrooms every day...right???).
After spending that much on a bathroom you would think I wouldn't have to spend a dime for many years. They are quick to take your money, but slow and non responsive after.
They do not uphold their warranty work either. Cannot be trusted! Our project was delayed and delayed for reasons we didn't understand.
Every time we asked why, we got a different answer. Then finally, we stopped getting answers at all.
Ignored completely. ReBath of Austin did a great job on our bathroom remodeling.
Easy to work with and responded to our requests. Only had one complaint, their painters were not the best, but ReBath responded to our complaints and they were corrected.
Very respectful in home (covered working floors and wore masks because of COVID). I would recommend ReBath of Austin very highly.
I had a great experience with Rebath. I needed my tub removed and a walk-in shower added.
It seemed like a simple job and while the price was a little more than I wanted to pay, I believed in their warranty and read other reviews of their work. When they removed the tub and sheetrock, they discovered a way bigger problem than I could have imagined.
Thanks to their firm price, I actually came out on the better end of the deal. They reframed the walls due to water, terminate, ant and mold damage and actually spent an additional day beyond what was originally determined.
The contractors were very considerate leaving my house each day and sweeping their way out the door. They were quiet as mice and created a masterpiece.
I recommend if you're considering a bathroom remodel, you give these folks a chance. Again, a little pricey, but so much better than having some shady contractor upping your price and giving you the run around or worse, walking out of the job.
These types of jobs can be scary. Way to go Rebath Austin! This company has gone way above and beyond anything that is asked of them.
They stepped up when we need to take care of a Purple Heart Veteran. Their team is beyond reproach.
Professional and understanding. To see the owner on ground throughout this mission has made it such a great experience and shows their level of commitment to veterans and the community.
Thanks again for everything that you do and continue to do. Brandon K President/Founder Guardian Overwatch I called them to ask about fixing some cracks in my bathtub.
I know I need a new shower pan and glass surround. I am also going to need to get new tile, vanity, toilet.
I plan to do that myself. I was quoted just to redo the shower, $7500.
A shower pan should be under $200. There needs to be new concrete backer board put up and tile done.
A new shower surround needs to be installed as well. Even if I went with the top of the line products, I would never come near to the $7500 quote they offered me and that was going to be just for the shower.
This did not include floor tile, vanity or the reseal of the bathtub. For $7500, I will keep that money and use it to remodel my other 2 bathrooms and part of my kitchen in addition to my master bath.
I had a very good experience with Re-Bath removing my 52 year old shower tile walls and tub and replacing them with lovely new walls and a shower pan/floor, along with new plumbing. it was exactly what I needed and could afford.
I liked the short time period (3.5 days)from demolition to new shower and new plumbing. Because I work full-time, I wanted the work started & finished while I was on vacation from work.
The walls and shower pan look fresh and I anticipate their remaining so for a long time. The two people who worked on my bathroom, A.J.
and William, worked very well together and worked hard too. I appreciated their clear explanations when I asked questions too.
Almlost three stars, but a solid two. The good news first.
The team did a quality job as far as installation is concerned and the materials seem to be top-notch. So what's the problem? Weeks have gone by and still the final inspections have not been done.
Several days were added to the constrution period due to poor communication with Austin's inspection department. Re-Bath didn't even know the department had taken a day off and their team waited here all day for inspectors to show up who weren't even working that day.
Re-Bath excuse was, "The inspectors didn't tell us.". Although the installation team did an expert job with the actual installation, they did a poor job containing the dust and construction debris, which found its way on to expensive art and delicate electronics all over the house.
I had to employ a cleaning team twice to clean up the mess. I will say that the first bathroom was the worst and they did a better job on the second one, but still not a great job.
Damage was done to walls and doors. Some painting was done, but a lot I had to do.
The team was anxious to get on to another job and did a hurried job cleaning up. I pointed this out to a Re-Bath rep and was told someone would contact me to fix the problem.
Weeks have gone by and no one has. Finally, although I'm happy with the final products, a shower stall and a walk-in bath tub, I keep looking at my $20,000 shower in one bathroom and $23,000 tub in the second and wonder why I agreed to pay $43,000 to for two partial bathroom remodels.
When one spends that kind of money, one would hope to look at the work and see the value. I don't.
We got a walk in tub installed for my dad. The quote was way higher than we were expecting but my dad just wanted to get it done.
It took about 8 wks to get it started and then a week and a half to complete. During the process the outlet for the washing machine was disconnected- didn't know til later and it took them a week to come fix it.
When they pulled the old tub insert out it showed an unpainted/Untextured row on the ceiling. I pointed out to the guy and asked if he was going to fix it.
He said no he didnt have anything. I touched the wall that they had already textured and said you did this.
He said aren't you going to paint the ceiling? I said for what we're paying it's suppose to be turn key. He said fine I'll figure something out.
When it was done it was very obvious he just painted a streak of white on the ceiling. Re-Bath replaced our walk-in shower which had developed problems.
It took nearly eight weeks for them to start. The work crew, Humberto and Eric, were easy to work with and did their job well.
We are still waiting for the glass surround to be installed. I may revise this review up or down depending upon how long that takes to get done.
There just aren't words to describe just how beautiful our bathroom is. It was sooooo worth the $$$! We would do it all over again...and again.
Extremely professional. They tore out our dated tub/shower and converted the space into a giant walk in shower.
It was totally complete in just 2 days. I have recommended this company to all of my neighbors and my entire family.
After we had our foundation work done and recovered from that, the bathrooms were next. We looked at tile, but grout and me do not live together well.
ReBath commercials wooed us to seek them here in Travis County and we have been pleased ever since this relationship has been established. Professional and personal at the same time that they were quick and kept it clean.
Worth every penny we spent. I have been very pleased with our new bathroom remodel.
Our house in an older ranch style home and we wanted to take out the old tub and put in a walk in shower with a waterfall shower head and lighting as well as a new counter top and sink fixtures. After receiving 3 different quotes we decided to go with Rebath, who was in the middle as far as pricing.
However, we really liked Ryan and felt he not only understood our vision but was very helpful and educated us on the best ways to bring our ideas to life. They checked in with us a few times before remodel began.
On the day of demo Humberto and Duberli arrived early and worked hard all week. We had a few kinks with plumbing (thanks old house) but their staff kept us informed of the entire process and worked with us to make sure the additional work they had to do would not increase the price too much.
They were very respectful, kept the rest of the house clean and even put cloth down to make sure they didn't scuff the flooring or walls. The new bathroom is amazing and we couldn't love it more! The quality work is fantastic, the staff was great, and the price was reasonable.
I would use them again and I definitely recommend them to others. A real lifetime guarantee.
After 2 years the shower fixture started to leak. Could not find any paper work, but called to see if they would fix it.
Next day a guy came out fixed the leak all the way to Liberty Hill - NO CHARGE WOW! I recently had the shower in my master bath replaced by ReBath and was very happy with the results. They are very professional, follow all code requirements, do excellent work, and quarantee their work for life.
I highly recommend them and would use them again in the future. Watch out for Todd, the salesman and their excuses for not returning unsatisfied customers phone calls.
They replaced our kids bathtub with a walk in shower but the hardware they installed cannot be used by my kids because they aren't tall enough! Todd knew that this was for our kids from the moment he arrived to give us their EXPENSIVE sales pitch with a promise of us being satisfied and a FIRM price where there would be no surprises or additional costs, "even if we find mold on the floor when we pull out the tub". We didn't get to pick out the shower, only the finish.
Well, that next night when my kids went to use the shower, they couldn't figure out how to get the shower arm sprayer to work. After a couple of minutes of trying to figure out how to do that, we realized that the knob to switch from the shower head to the hand held sprayer was way up behind the top of the showerhead.
I'm 5'9 and I just barely reached the knob myself! I wrote this problem down on the paperwork they had me sign but three weeks later, we keep getting ignored. Finally, Todd the salesman responded saying that it would cost us an additional $800 to fix the problem because new plumbing will be necessary to install a showerhead and arm that is suitable for the kids.
We SHOWED Todd our master bathroom that has both components that the kids can use. He knew this before their company picked out the hardware.
Why should we have to pay for their mistake? We paid $17,000 for new quartz counter tops and a shower install..........really?????????? Their installation was great, but I didn't get what I ordered. They were to order the shower glass with a shield to prevent soap n water build up.
It wasn't came back a week later to hand put chemical which worked for a little while. I asked the sales person if this doesn't work what happens next, sge said glass would be replaced as ordered.
Called them back week after week with no reponse. Their customer service sucks.
My husband finally contacted manager, again hand placed chemical. It's wasn't cheap, so I'm not particularly happy.
We had the shower in our master bath replaced with one from Re-Bath in 2011. We were told the project would take 3 days to complete, but it dragged out for approximately 2 months.
Toward the end, the guys at Re-Bath kept making excuses for why it was taking so long to install the final piece, a small shelf, by saying the shipment had been lost multiple times. When they finally finished, we were happy with the completed shower.
Of course, the shower has a lifetime warranty, so when I noticed a hairline crack in the floor awhile back, I called Re-Bath to request they come out to inspect and repair it. I initially made the call in May 2015.
A couple of guys came out, took pictures, and told us it would take several weeks to hear back because they would have to go through the manufacturer. About 4 months later, I still hadn't heard back, and I kept thinking that I must need to call Re-Bath to remind them.
I hadn't done that yet when a guy named Todd showed up in my driveway in a Re-Bath vehicle. I thought, "Great! Finally, they are here to make the repair." But no.
Actually, it turned out that Todd was only going through the neighborhood trying to drum up business by going to former clients' homes to solicit their positive recommendations to prospective customers. When I mentioned the problem with our shower, he offered to take a look at it and pass along the information to his boss.
Before he left, and without asking, he whipped out his smartphone to take a picture of this "happy customer" to use for marketing purposes. I did tell him that I would be happy to speak to prospective customers IF and WHEN Re-Bath completed the shower repair to our satisfaction.
I have yet to hear ANYTHING back from anyone at Re-Bath, even though I did, once again, call to report the problem and the length of time I had been waiting for resolution. Apparently, they have moved their store across town and gone under "new management", although Matt, the original guy, is still in charge.
I was told that this would be at the top of their list of priorities. It has now been OVER 7 MONTHS, and I am STILL WAITING.
Meanwhile, I did have a prospective customer call me to ask about my experience, and all I could do was be completely honest. Congratulations; now, your prospective customers can read my honest review here, too.
We were happy with the shower that was initially put in, so I am giving one star for that, but their management, organization and customer service is severely lacking, and for the exorbitant cost we paid, this is absolutely unacceptable. It took me a long time to post this, but feel it is fair to warn consumers considering Re-bath.
My mother had her tub converted to a walk-in shower one year ago, 2016. It was a horrible nightmare experience with Management.
First off, my mother slipped three times on the first use of the shower. Extremely concerned I contacted the Onyx Collection directly and was informed the order was placed incorrectly.
(Management again denied.) Come to find out, they installed the wrong shower pan and argued "we got what we ordered". The floor installed had channels in it and the floor we picked out was like sand paper without the channels! Which was strongly suggested to get by owner! Plus very expensive bait and switch floor we got stuck with.
So to fix the wrong floor they sprayed a non-slip coating! (of course no refund for the price difference - don't even know what it is.) Then the shower doors were way to short (which they did correct after another argument), and the change in color (discussed with owner) was not made correctly, so again another problem. The sink counter top had to be installed two times, in order to get the correct color.
The overall experience is Super disappointing and not a good company to do business with. The onyx collection is good, but I suggest you find another company to work with to install it, NOT Re-Bath.
ReBath did a complete remodel of our master bathroom. This comprised of tearing out the glass shower and garden tub as well as the 8ft vanity, full length mirror, and tile floor.
The 2 drains had to be combined into one for the new "walk in" shower that is now 8 ft x 4 ft. The plumbing was completely redone as the walls in the shower and tub area were stripped down to the studs.
This truly was a custom job from the ground up. The remodel project took about 2 weeks to complete.
Part of this time included ReBath coordinating with a flooring company we hired to replace the tile floor in the bathroom and to run the same tile into the master bedroom. ReBath does an excellent job on tiling floors too, but we wanted tile from another company.
The cost of the tile flooring for the bathroom and bedroom was an additional $4000 above the cost of the bathroom remodel. The total cost of our project was $22,000.
During the 2 weeks we had plenty of opportunity to observe how the work was being done. These are our comments regarding our full experience with ReBath: 1.
Working with the ReBath design consultant to plan our remodel was an excellent experience [Bryan Letts]. We were able to pick out all the materials we wanted to use as well as having total input to the design of the remodeled bathroom.
2. The same 2-3 man work crew came every day and did the complete job from start to finish during this 2 weeks period.
This crew was led by Ismael, who is a plumber, carpenter, and tiler. It was nice not having different people coming each day as our remodel progressed.
3. The work crew did an excellent job of cleaning up before leaving each day.
4. I have never dealt with a more courteous and professional company than all the ReBath people we interfaced with .
5. Every part of this job was done right as Ismael and crew take the time to do it right the 1st time.
6. The entire ReBath staff was very accommodating with our all of our requests during this entire project.
7. The ReBath staff was even responsive to phone calls/messages after the job started.
8. The only area we could see for a little improvement was on one occasion I was trying to get pricing and a part number on an extra accessory that was not part of the original job scope.
This request was not responded to in a timely manner, but eventually the accessory was provided and installed at no cost! OVERALL.....BEST JOB EVER! WE ARE COMPLETELY SATISFIED! Need my shower/tub area repaired so I contacted Rebath of Travis County. They promptly contacted and scheduled an appointment.
Arrived a bit late, but called to notify me. .
. how refreshing.
Sat for about 3 hours selecting material, but always wondering and asking about the cost. .
. the sales person continued showing me Rebaths produces, and asking me to pick sample material.
When this process started I thought, OMG, this is like the car buying process. .
. which is exactly what it turned into, down to finance option to make my project possible...36 months, 48 months...but did not indicate the interest rate then the hard sell really began.
A 10% discount ONLY available TODAY, if I leave, you will not be able to get this deal...aaarrrgghh...needless to say, ReBath and I parted friends -- salesman's words. The product looks great, and the promise of a 3 day reno job sounds wonderful, but without the ability to think about the $7,800 cost, when I was unrealistically expecting a $3,000 job...no way was I getting into a contract, especially sight unseen products! I must reconsider my previous review.
I don't know if the company has changed owner or just does not care any longer. I have e-mailed them twice to ask for an upgrade of my installed shower unit.
We want to go to glass doors and remove the shower rod and curtain. They did not bother to respond to me.
Finally I called and spoke with a female and explained what I wanted to do and that they had installed the unit. She looked me up in their computer and confirmed my address and contact number.
She set up an appointment for someone to come give us an estimate. Wonderful, but no one showed or called to reschedule.
That was a week ago and they have still not contacted me. Will go to Lowe's or Home Depot for an estimate for the work.
Maybe Rebath feels the job is too small and they are just sooooo busy they don't need any small jobs. Would be nice if they at least told me they were not interested.'''.
