My hot water heater went out late on Sunday afternoon. I got on line to get the phone number for Proven Plumbing in Cedar Park and saw they had an area to Request Service.
I filled out the form expecting to hear from them Monday morning. 10 minutes later I got a call asking if I needed immediate service.
I told them we were draining the tank and could wait until Monday morning. They had a technician at my home at 8:00am Monday morning and the replacement hot water heater was installed and all work complete in two hours.

Emailed a request for an estimate to change out a faucet in the bathroom. They called within the hour with the estimate.

The owner of the company I have used for years for my dryer vent cleaning referred me to Proven Plumbing. I called and spoke with a very friendly and adept Proven Plumbing associate who said she could actually have a plumber out to me that very day (!).
Jacob (the plumber) came over and evaluated the leak - and his professional assessment pointed to a hose's mis-sized metal gasket. He replaced the gasket with one commensurate with the hose size and I have not had any leakage under my kitchen sink since.

Also - perhaps a week or so after that visit for the leak I called Proven to schedule a new toilet installation (removal of existing toilet and installation of a new toilet I had ordered from a nearby Lowe's - which the plumber would need to pick up from Lowe's and bring over to my house as a part of the work order).
Initially there was a snafu at the point of pick-up from Lowe's -- however this was not the fault of the plumber/Proven Plumbing but rather the fault of Lowe's (Customer Service Desk there did not understand that the toilet was in fact there - ready and waiting for pick up at that store location). Once I called and worked through Lowe's own issue of confusion about the whereabouts of the toilet at their store I called Proven, explained, and Proven was very considerate and proactive in looking into getting any plumber available to come out as quickly as possible (since I'd already had a constantly "running" toilet for several days and Lowe's snafu created more days with this issue).
I think they were able to snag Jacob either that very afternoon or the next. Jacob came over with a fellow he was professionally mentoring/training and the two of them took great care in removing and installing my new American Standard brand toilet.
I asked Jacob to replace the shut-off valve's tube and he had this part in his truck and he expertly took care of removal of the old tube and install of the new whilst installing the new toilet. The toilet was set in place meticulously and the work was expert and professional.
Note: while the plumbers were taking the old toilet out to their truck I went into the bathroom to clean the marble bathroom flooring where the old toilet had been set on the floor (as you might imagine it was a bit yucky and there was a bug carcass -- this due to the original toilet's installers plunking the original toilet down onto a new remodel construction bathroom floor without cleaning the floor up prior to setting the toilet into place ?). It is just part of my nature to tend to my home in a very tidy and clean manner so I popped into the bathroom and thoroughly cleaned that area before they brought in the new toilet and set it down.
I might suggest any homeowner do the same - because although you might be thrilled for your plumber to take the initiative to clean up the portion of the floor which will ultimately end up being hidden underneath a new toilet - the plumber(s) probably won't do this (yes that's right - no matter how terrific the plumber is - because their focus is solely on addressing the plumbing issue). Bottom line: the work was expert and my new toilet is wonderful and works perfectly.

I was facing the issue where water was coming out from both my spout and my shower head at the same time so I reached out to a few places on Yelp. Proven plumbing asked that I filled out their online contact form but it didn't work, so I gave them a call instead.

There was some miscommunication as I was told that they were going to bring the spout but the person who came thought I was to purchase the spout beforehand for him, but that was quickly rectified as he went to to the store to get one. Customer service is really dismissive. I Called S&D plumbing the next day and water heater was fixed in 24 hours A bit of a rough stuff start.
But ended up being a fantastic experience. We had an issue on our drainage that seemed to start with the big freeze.
We had a couple toilets that wouldn't flush or that would back up. Yeah, not a fun problem.
Anyway, we called to book an appointment. Simple process and it took a few days to get them out here.
While scheduling, I explained the issue and would like the system looked at with a camera. It's an older home, so was thinking the freeze caused some issue.
Anyway, on the day if their original appointment the were late because they forgot the camera that I had asked for. They arrived about an hour later than they had planned.
On arrival, Jacob listened to our concerns and did some investigating. He couldn't dig into the problem because he was concerned about his follow up appointment.
He asked if we could reschedule. I wasn't happy or excited about it, but thought not much I can do.
I could call another plumber and wait another few days anyways. So, I agreed to the rescheduling and Jacob didn't feel right charging me fir this visit.
Fast forward a few days, Jacob comes back on time and with camera. He starts looking into the problem and notices a couple small bellies that could have been our problem( flushing backs up into shower).
Now, this seemed so start right around the hard freeze. I'm guessing the bellies froze and caused some extra backup.
Anyway, he was able to snake out the problem and fix the issue. Also, since the toilet leaked we knew wax ring was bad.
That is where he started the snake and camera process. He also noticed that the flange was fine, but it was not anchored to slab so he threw a couple of concrete screws in there to make sure it would never be an issue.
See, when you are tightening down a toilet, you are pulling up hard in the flange - and since the flange was not anchored down properly he help anchor it down. All in all, he was super cool and patient.

Excellent customer service so far, especially from Peter the dispatcher who has been so patient with me rescheduling my appointments and taking the time to explain several options of what I am looking for and answering all my weird questions. For a dispatcher he knows his stuff about water.
Keep you all updated on my service and possible installation. Everything is a go so far.
This company understands the need for clean drinking/bathing water and is not pushy... update soon! Peter is terrific, and the gentleman they sent out was truly professional.
My water heater was not working and I couldn't get the pilot light to stay and they were able to fix the pilot light mechanism on the spot and even handle my warranty claim and deduct it from my bill. They were truly professional and very courteous and these people are going to be the first I call whenever I need a plumbing issue.
No nonsense around needing to do a home visit to provide a basic quote or try and absurdly upsell at all. So far so good.
Out of the blue, hot water in my house stopped working. I relit the pilot light but it went out after a few days.
I thought the issue was a wire (I believe it's called a thermocouple), which would have been an easy fix. Before doing sell, I reached out to Proven Plumbing to see if they can consult on what they think I should do.
I found this business from a neighborhood Facebook group. Apparently someone else in the neighborhood had the same issue a while back and they had recommended this company.
If you have no hot water then you understand you'd like to move pretty quickly on a decision. Proven plumbing was extremely responsive and very professional.
They came out after a few hours and scheduled an appointment with me the next day to replace the entire water tank. It turns out that the water heater was about 14 years old so this is about the end of the useful life.
I wasn't expecting to pay a little bit north of $1,400 but that's what it took. I am very pleased with my investment.
A week later the city came out to perform an inspection and, it passed with flying colors. Proven plumbing told me that I have a year warranty and then a few years after that the manufacture gives a warranty.
However, if anything were to happen then my contact would be proven plumbing and then they would reach out to the manufacturer on my behalf. This all happened last month.
So far so good. Hopefully I never have to use the warranty.
