Thankfully it was a very small issue (the GFI needed to be reset on my sump pump). Kevin came in, quickly diagnosed the issue and only charged me half of the usual service call fee because he was only here for a few minutes.

I'm not a plumber and honestly he could have told me anything and I would have believed him. I was prime to be taken advantage of and he didn't.

however, we had the protection plan under our water company and they sent over a different plumber at no cost to us Cameron saved the day! Our experience started out a bit rocky. Cameron was the 2nd tech to come and having a calming, confident demeanor.

Nothing back on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday in spite of their "24 hour service" claim. Early Monday morning I receive a message saying "technician can't evaluate from picture and will need to come onsite to quote.

If you accept quote, $87 charge will be waived". I can understanding wanting more info, but how about a call or request for more detail first, before charging $87 for an estimate? Compare this to JB Plumbing, where the owner responded within 10 minutes of my request, happened to live nearby and came over to check out the situation (no charge) and then gave me options since he didn't have needed part in hand.

One of the options was to wait and see what other plumbers responded. If no one was available, let him know and he'd send one of his techs from Phila on Saturday.

Long story short - go with JB and skip the M-F, no holiday support Bommer. Maybe it was just an off time or they aren't set up to respond to yelp quickly, but they should say so in their listing.

Trusted professionals all the way! We had a leak in our downstairs bathroom which was clearly caused by the master shower directly upstairs. We initially called in another plumber, and he and his boss felt very strongly that a hairline crack in the pan of our master shower was causing the issue.

They came back with an estimate of $7,000 to redo the entire master shower (and vanity). What? We called Bommer Plumbing for a second opinion and boy, are we glad we did.

Jim arrived right on time and he worked with my husband and me to troubleshoot the leak. He spent close to 90 minutes at our place.

Long story short, the culprit of the leak was worn caulk along the top of of the master shower basin, NOT a hairline crack. We all cheered when the source was found! We saved thousands of dollars with this (accurate) diagnosis.

And he even pointed out a potential issue with the electric source for our downstairs bathroom fan. Jim was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and hilarious.

We were cracking jokes like old buds. He was awesome! And office staff is super friendly.

They keep you apprised of your plumber's whereabouts on the day of your appointment. They even send a picture of your plumber so you know what they look like ahead of time.

This was a great touch and much appreciated, as you can never be too careful these days. I cannot recommend this company enough.

Don't do what we did and call Bommer Plumbing second...call them FIRST. We called them after finding a gas leak and again when our toilet started to leak.

Both times we were schedule promptly and with care. I love that you get a text with a photo and information about the plumber coming to your property.

They also text you when they're on the way. We've had the pleasure of working with Jim, Austin, and Keith.

All three of them were incredibly professional and personable. Jim and Austin gave us a second opinion on an "issue" another plumbing company said we had with our hot water heater piping.

Spoiler alert - It wasn't a real issue. We will definitely be using Bommer going forward and recommending them to other people.

We've used Bommer Plumbing several times over the years and have always been very pleased with the quality of the work. Every member of their team has been wonderful to work with, and this week they were able to respond quickly to an emergency call.

I already paid $55 for Alliance to come out and they told me what I needed so I didn't want to pay another $87 for them to come out and get their charge for what I already needed to get repaired therefore I looked for another company who did free estimates. The woman I spoke to who works there Christine was very nice she did say they had a $60 off coupon to use and she did give me a price on a new toilet which the other company told me I needed.

But when I found a company who gave me free estimates this licensed & insured company repaired all the insides of my toilet tank & it cost me half the price. My toilet works perfectly.

Plus, I saved a lot of money! McGonigle Plumbing in Maple Shade, NJ ---ask for Tom. Main drain backed up into the basement and needed it snaked on a Sunday morning.

Bommer had an emergency line and came out within 90min of phone call. Emergency/weekend fee was very reasonable! Started working immediately.

Back to normal within an hour. Technician was knowledgeable and gave us recommendations to prevent reoccurrence and potential support from the township.

Would absolutely recommend! Great price and service. I called for service this morning and they were at my house in less than two hours.
