I have been using AAA for over 10 years. As the winter event was approaching , I knew there could be problems with my plumbing so I got ahead of the game and called on Sunday, February 14th 2021.
I was told at the time, due to the weather the earliest I could get a plumber would be Thursday at 7:30 am February 18th 2021. I told them I suspected that, so to please book me for the 7:30 and I would see them at that time.
My water went out that same Sunday , so I was happy to have them on the schedule. Thursday was an aweful weather day , but I called at 7:30 am to find out where I stood.
The fairly rude person that answered the phone said that I would get an update if there people could get to work in the weather. I told them I understood, and wanted to be sure I didn't lose my place in line.
After an full day of snow and no call back from AAA, I called Thursday afternoon and was told that I was still in the system and would get someone out on Friday February 19th 2021. After Friday morning passed with no contact, I called them again and was told "Yes sir , I see you here you will get a call in 45min to 1hr from dispatch".
Friday passed without a single call. After 5 days without running water I was really hoping AAA would help, but they completely dropped the ball and NEVER ONCE CALLED ME.
NOT ONCE!!!! I resolved my water issue on my own, and decided just to wait to see if they WOULD EVER CALL. Friday passed, Saturday, passed, and Sunday passed without a call from AAA Auger.
I finally called this Morning February 22, 2021 to ask what happend.. and to cancel any service they might try to schedule.
While one could argue there is an excuse for the service delay (despide the fact I scheduled service well in advance). THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THE COMPLETE LACK OF COMMUNICATION DURING A CRISIS.
AAA Auger completely let me down in my most urgent time of need. After 10 years of loyal patronage , they showed a complete lack of professionalism and care for their customer.

Jose I woke up to water leaking pretty heavily from my master bathroom down to my laundry room early this morning and I had to turn off the water. I called 4 plumbing companies that advertised themselves as Emergency 24/7 plumbers.
AAA Auger was the only one that was responsive to my emergency and came out first thing this morning. The others offered me anywhere from Friday to Tuesday.
Auger got the job done fast and for a very reasonable price. Very upsetting.
Hate even having to give you 1 star! I called on Saturday and made an appointment for Sunday at 9:00am..... at 9:30am I called to find out if someone was on their way, the person on the phone tells me that they would let me know when someone was available, I just have to WAIT! Huh?!? What kind of business is this, horrible service, so now I'll seek business elsewhere.
They are not the cheapest company in town. But, I had 1 commode backing up when it was flushed, and after another well-known plumbing company in town and then an individual plumber, I called AAA Auger.
Joe came out that afternoon, felt I needed a new commode (did a "plumber test") ...never mentioned by the other two people. At this point, Joe put in a new commode and all has been well ever since! So, after spending over $400 with the first company, and I just didn't call the individual plumber back (these independent guys just don't have the proper tools in many cases), AAA charged me $597 (ugh!) to put in a new toilet.
I know I could have probably had it put in cheaper, but at least they know what they are talking about, and as of today the problem remains fixed! And Joe was such a sweetheart! This was my first time using AAA Auger Plumbing, and I was not disappointed! They are one of the best plumbing companies I have ever used, and here's why: About 10 days ago, I could hear what sounded like water running through the pipes in the wall near our water softener in the garage, as well as in the wall by where a pipe burst during the freeze this year (also in the garage). I called out two other plumbing companies, and both of them immediately left the garage and said my leak was in the service line that ran from the main water valve to the house.
They both proposed having to dig up my entire front yard to first find the pipe and then hopefully find the leak and fix it. Both quoted about 8 hours to find the leak, and both companies charged $175/hr.
This would have cost $1,400 to just find the leak (if they were right about its location), with fixing it costing extra. The first company even charged me a $100 service fee just to come out to the house.
Thank goodness I called AAA Auger Plumbing Services, who sends out a plumber for free to assess the problem! They promptly sent out Adamson, who listened to my concerns, asked clarifying questions, explained the intricacies of plumbing to me like I'm five, and then told me what he thought the problem was (which made way more sense than the other two plumbing companies told me). He quoted me a very fair price to fix the problem (half what the other two companies had estimated), and then was able to isolate the leaking pipe and cap it to stop the leak quickly and without digging up any part of my yard (which, as it turned out, the leaking pipe was nowhere near the front yard).
The quoted price is exactly what I paid, and now I will be using AAA Auger Plumbing for all of my future plumbing issues. AAA AUGER IS TERRIFIC! We had the BEST experience with them yesterday and we highly recommend them to all! if you need help and guidance and expertise, give the a call! We have found our plumbing company! Unlike most other plumbing companies who are just looking for bucks! Did a great job today.

I called Anchor Plumbing and they did it for $160 and they did a fantastic work! CALL ANCHOR PLUMBING!! It should be no stars but you can't go lower than1.
We had an issue that required a plumber we placed a call on friday evening for saturday at 11 am but the called that they should be there around 830 am I informed them that it was supposed to be at 11, well since the it's been a runaround after another it's now Sunday at 1040am and still getting a runaround from Gregory and hung up by if I remember correctly her name was Susan. I guess the have taken the saying that your #2 is their #1.
Because I tasted some crap with them, i highly suggest looking other companies. Once again AAA Auger to the rescue! After going with a different plumbing company that was underprepared, uncommunicative, and lacked the wear with all to do the job he started AAA Auger came in within 1 hour, found the main line and spent the next day finishing up why the previous plumber couldn't seem to manage.

After inspecting 1 ft of pipe, they declared that my system didn't exist but still felt vindicated charging me the full $120 price we'd negotiated. Not my idea of great service.
I called AAA Auger on 10/15/22 to fix a leak I had in my yard. They started to dig and had my husband sign a paper saying that he agreed to $327.50 for two hour of exploring the leak.
So after about an hour of digging to find the leak , he tell my husband he want the $327.50 because he could not find the leak in the yard, but he think he dug for two hours. He should have known what time he started if he expected to get paid by the hour.
Well he didn't dig for two how because by ring doorbell showed what time he started. When we question him about it, he got upset and said, well I just leave and won't charge for this.
At the same time, the water was coming out from on the side of house. I said, its obvious that the leak is right there.
So he dug there and there was the leak. He said he was going to charge us $687.50 to fix the leak plus the $327.50 for finding the leak.
I said, I am not going to pay that $327.50,I would pay the $687.50 because you did not find the leak, I did. We end up paying the $687.50 but he null and voided the warranty because I had a small bush on the side of the house.
I wish I could add a picture of this baby bush, but I can't. I would never call these people again.

They said they'd be out by 9:30, called at 9:40 no one answered so I left a message. Called again at 10 was told plumber had difficulty at previous job couldn't show up until some time between 12-1, still no one shows up and no one calls, so we call again and they had pushed us back to 7:30 AM.
All this waiting and no water and no call from them and they aren't willing to help they just say, well sorry. So much for 24 hour service or any service for that matter.
I have a multiple location business where the use of plumbing is vital to its success. AAA Auger (5 years and counting) in general and Juan Lopez specifically (going on 2 years) are absolute 5+ stars terrific! Very communicative in both defining the issues and explaining the fix.
Both issue specific and ongoing maintenance, all inclusive. I never feel the need to call anyone else!! I scheduled a simple consult with AAA Auger.

Jayson Thank you for your excellent service! We had high pressure (120psi) to our home and a leak coming out of our service box. We called several plumbers (through Yelp and Angie's List) and had 3 estimates for the work before AAA came out.
Jaysons professionalism, communication, knowledge, and "will to seal the deal" was what sold us. He worked with the pricing (vs the other companies) and did the job in no time.
End result was a new pressure relief valve, ball valve from the main mater (for our convenience) and satisfied customer. Note: Our lawn also was left as if no one was there.
Great price, great service. Thank you JAYSON! Called on a weekend and they were there within an hour for a sprinkler leak.
Initial estimate near $500. Well a couple hours later the job now required a backhoe and the price was up to $1000+.
Work required coming back the next day and took a majority of the day and when completed backlogs test failed and I had to call my sprinkler company to do work that they would reimburse me for. Well after several weeks multiple calls and them lowering me money for the sprinkler service call they show up and tell us they need to get another sprinkler company out to address sprinkler zone problems due to debris thAt got in the system when they dug up my yard and replaced piping.
Needless to say we asked them to leave, I'm out $1000 ,a sprinkler repair cost and my sprinkler still is not working and backflow was never corrected. I do not recommend using this company.

To change my review this company contacted me after my post and have worked to resolve my sprinkler problems and the backlogs. Mr Cannon contacted me immediately after the owner saw my post and he sent out a sprinkler company and a Plummer that week to work on fixing all problems.

Johnston During our recent remodeling project we had to move a gas water heater (three feet). Called Auger for a quote, personnel was very professional and courteous.
Technician was on-site within a day... and appeared very knowledgeable and competent.
We were quoted around $2.5k for the project by Auger, while a competitor charged us $1.3k for that job. Also, I noted similarly inflated price trend for a softener connection (asked for on-site quote).
There are a lot of things that go into pricing of work, so I wouldn't speculate on price discrepancy within industry. We did not use Auger this time, but I would definitely recommend getting a quote from them.

They showed up within an hour of my call and located the problem. Damned trees! I love em, but they went after my pipes because, well, that's what they do.

They charged $450 to replace a wax ring on a toilet! They claim that there is no extra charge for night and weekend service, and that they charge by the job, not by the hour. There's no way a wax ring replacement costs $450 - I think they took advantage of the fact that my wife was the one that called for service.

They came out to give free estimate (which not many that I call will do) on laundry drain clog. Price was reasonable.
Service was quick. They were friendly and went above and beyond my expectations.
I called at about 10 pm on a Sunday and had help coming to my house within the hour..they found the problem and and fixed it right away, quick and efficient. Victor and Juan were very knowledgeable and provided a great service and a clean job.
We have used this company 3 times in the past 12 months. There is no extra charge for weekends or after-hours calls, and estimates are free.
Our workmen have always been respectful and knowledgeable, and have solved our problems quickly. The estimate is the actual price you pay, and many times they add an unexpected discount.
(Last time we got a certain amount off for being patient in awaiting our plumber.) We will call this company any time that we have plumbing needs! A week ago, we called AAA Auger (#aaaauger)to unclog our sewage main at a price of $350. A day later, we are still having issues.
We had to go out of town for 3 days and since we've gotten back, our sewage line has backed up 3 more times. They elected NOT to warranty their work because they said there were roots growing in our pipe (of course, there is no real evidence of that since they wanted to charge another $250 just to run a camera down the line).
I understand that we live in an older house and that the possibility of there being a collapse somewhere in the line exists, however, for $350 they should exhaust all means of finding the "root" cause of the issue before suggesting we spend another $5000 to replace everything. Now, a week later they want to charge another $150 to do the same thing they did a week ago.

Your guys blew up my softener (4 years old) and left us with 0 running water in the entire home. All pipes were clogged with resin.
He thought we had a main break. He went from faucet to faucet turning them on and watching them clog because he had no idea what he had done by cranking on and off my water 15-20 times.
He even told me he couldn't believe my softener didn't have a bypass valve. Well it does.
The next 2 plumbers I called knew what had been done within 30 seconds. They showed me how to put the bypass on and how the original repair could have been done by turning the water off at the h20 heater itself.
He never needed to turn the water off at the street. I had 0 water for 2 days.
Your crew of bullies blamed me and wanted to charge $700 to clear the lines. They said I would need to buy the new water softener and heaters that were then filled with Resin! The tiny little repair turned into one big nightmare.
Your guy said it was just a coincidence that my water softener blew up on their second visit! While they were turning my water on and off! Why on earth would I PAY your guys to repair it? Is that the scam? Break stuff and charge to fix it? Your comments about shirking responsibility just aren't true. All y'all had to do was fix it.
If I hadn't told your plumber what was wrong, he still wouldn't have known. He was at my house for 7 hours using a compressor to blow out my lines individually.
Problem was when he would turn the water on, they would re fill with resin. He hadn't bypassed the now broken water softener.
It was a night of madness. They made a huge mess of water in every room they were in.
Knowing what I know now, their blowing efforts were futile! Other plumbers laugh when I tell them how your 2 guys blew line after line not knowing Resin was in the lines. It literally took the next plumber 30 seconds to know what was going on.
The next plumber after that took 30 seconds. I wanted to see if he could figure it out.

That I had turned off and on my water. I don't even know how to do that! I cannot express how grateful I am to Jaime Smith and his assistant Javier for the incredible job they did at my mom's home when she had a plumbing emergency a few days ago.
AAA Auger responded immediately. Jaime took his time to assess the situation thoroughly and explain in precise detail not only the problem but also its root cause.
He is a gifted and very intelligent Master Plumber with a solutions driven mindset and we could not have asked for anyone more knowledgeable, respectful, and customer service oriented to assist during this very challenging time. Since my mother and I do not live in the same city, Jaime got on the phone with me and texted me pictures of the broken pipe from her home so I could understand the situation more clearly and he was very patient and calm in explaining to us the options and giving his expert opinion on how to proceed.
An extensive re-routing of the pipe was the recommended solution but because my mother was not comfortable with such an invasive and expensive process, Jaime came up with a fantastic alternative that was localized, non-invasive, and thousands of dollars less expensive. He worked diligently to ensure it would be a successful outcome.
Javier who worked alongside him was very helpful and did a great job. They worked very well as a team and did a very thorough job of cleaning up afterwards.
Jaime is truly an asset to the company and I must add that I don't think going forward my mom is going to want anyone but him to do plumbing work at her house! We'd also like to thank Jayson and Rudy who came out the day before to work on a separate pipe leak and who did a very good job taking care of the issue professionally and compassionately. Truly amazing service all around.
They were good about showing up on time. They way overbid a job, then when I reached out to them, they told me they would call me right back.
That was over a week ago, and I am still waiting. Jeffrey Jacobs aka JJ provided an estimate to replace a water heater for me.
I accepted even though he wanted $100 for the permit when the city only charges $90 BC he said he could get started the next day. I wanted to get this over with so I accepted his prices.
He asked for me credit card number to confirm job and I gave it to him. He never showed up or returned my phone call or text.

Stay away!! Came out to fix my bathroom sink clog and before he left I started testing my other faucets and sure enough my kitchen sink won't drain now. We showed Colby Briggs (the plumber) and he just suggested we get some chemical from a plumbers supply store.
He left and did not finish the job. My kitchen sink was not clogged before they got here.
I need my kitchen sink more than my bathroom sink. We called that night 9/3/2019 to have them send someone else out and it is now 6:45pm on 9/4/2019 and still no one has showed up to fix the problem.

He never offered to fix my sink, he told us to go buy Thrift (which is illegal to sell to un-licensed/uncertified non plumbers) from Ferguson's and wrote down the names of two people to talk to and where they were located on my invoice. Why would I not fix my kitchen sink when I have dishes to wash and kids that use that sink all day everyday.
He left and did not finish the job. Going to report them to the better business bureau.
Update 9/5/2019 Got contacted by the owner by private yelp message that they would come out and fix the problem at no extra cost, however due to him implying I am a liar I was not comfortable with anyone from his company coming out and touching my plumbing again. He then messaged again implying that I am lying and then called me ignorant.
I have screen shot the conversation to show the BBB. This is unbelievable.
I can not fathom how this business can treat people in such a way and not get closed down. Shame on you David.
After going to sleep on a Friday night to a busted bathtub valve, I called AAA Auger at 9:00 on Saturday morning. I got a call back at 9:30 and the AA Auger truck rolled up 15 minutes later, The repairman looked at the problem valve, gave me price and got right to work.
About 40 minutes later, the valve was replaced an working like a charm . Thank again for the quick response and reasonable price! My pressure control valve outside gave out after 11 years, cutting off the water supply to my house.
Called them based on Yelp reviews and past experience. Was told 20 minute show time and arrived in 20 minutes.
Got to work right away after I accepted the quote. Got a temporary repair going to restore my water supply because he didn't have the correct PCV in his vehicle.
Told me he'd be back in 48 hrs to install the correct one. No biggie I told I was happy with the emergency response time and his emergency repair and had the luxury of waiting for his return.
He was uniformed and polite. I have used AAA Auger before several times to replace bibs and internal shower faucets and that sort of thing.
The only reason I didn't give him 5 stars was because he didn't have the part needed and has to return to complete the job. They got me out of a big jam this time and will continue to use them in the future for my plumbing issues.

Not sure who you got your information from but it is ALL wrong. There were NO after hour trips to our home nor were there phone calls we did not answer.
That could not be further from the TRUTH!!!! WE were the ones always calling and not getting the plumber to return OUR calls when he was supposed to be here working and would just not show up. At times days at a time!!!!! Even the dispatchers who answer your calls from customers couldn't contact him and called us back apologizing cause they didn't know where he was or why he was not calling us or the office back!!!! I have EVERY single thing documented and witnesses.
I refuse to be treated like this continually by your company. As a matter of fact I called in a week ago for issues we are having here from the work that was done.

Fine, we can get another company out here to check things out. Then we can see you in court for all the wrong you have done.

Calling the police was complete B.S. No one was afraid they would have to do it again.
I spoke with the manager Frank that morning to complain about getting someone out here to finish cause no one was calling. He apologized also and said he would get him here to finish and to also work on better communication.
He also had another gentleman call me shortly after we spoke about fixing some repairs inside the home the plumbers had caused that Frank promised to get fixed. Needless to say they never got fixed as promised.
So then, to my surprise Jayson came alright with the police. What a joke.
What happened to that communication? Jayson told myself and the police Frank told him to call the police. Interesting, cause in our conversation hours earlier there was NO concern about payment.
We just wanted the job completed. And as per our contract the job was to be paid in full when the job was complete.
At this point it was NOT even close to complete. Which is also stated in the police report.
Y'all got your $$ as soon as it was complete. Funny how now that y'all did and we have problems yet again with the same thing you don't call back.
So much for any warranty!!!! Please, get the right information before responding. Or at least have the courtesy to call the customer yourself and find out!! I wish this nightmare was over but obviously it is not! Wouldn't recommend.
Labor way over priced and manager doesn't return phone calls. Disappointed, used them a couple times before and never felt ripped off.
Always had great customer service. Not sure what happened but it's a shame, fast service and no charge for quote but the labor cost is ridiculous! I can't imagine it taking 2 hours to replace a kitchen faucet cartridge.

To my surprise, they took my review to heart and called me to apologize . I chose to give them a second chance.
Ernie and Jesse came to my home to assess my plumbing concerns, they left to think about what would be their approach. They worked with In all my constraints and came in Approximately 50% under what I had budgeted.
I will absolutely use them again and refer them to friends . Jayson, one of the plumbers from AAA Auger, just left after doing some good work.
Our kitchen faucet was leaking pretty badly, so he pinpointed the issue and was able to replace the so-called "nipples" that connect the internal pipes to the faucet and install a brand new faucet. He worked pretty quickly and didn't take all day like other plumbers said they would need to, and the price seemed reasonable compared to other quotes I had received from competitors.
Additionally, he was able to honor the coupon right here on Yelp which was great. I would definitely have Jayson come back out for any other plumbing issues that we may come across down the road! When I lost pressure in my kitchen I started my search for a plumber I could trust and one that is readily available for when any emergencies come up, AAA Auger was quick to respond to my online request for service and for the work is decent on price - they did an awesome job getting pressure back to my kitchen sink and installing a valve for my shower.
Will be using AAA again, and would recommend. Though they are not the cheapest they certainly are not the most expensive, their staff is friendly, and the work is great for the dollar.

From the beginning phone call I made at 3 am (emergency leak the day after Christmas) to the completion of the job, everything was handled with such professionalism and courtesy. JJ was timely, friendly, knowledgable, personable and never wasted a minute! My repair was somewhat complex but he went above & beyond to get it done as quickly as possible & as economical.
He even went out of his way to reassure me (as he traveled up & down the stairs) that everything would be fine. I'm sure you can imagine my worry of the total, being it was the day after Christmas.
But even that was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend this company to anyone, and ask for JJ! He's a giant of a guy, but has a giant heart as well.

This was the only company we called that saved us time by letting us know our water company needed to fix our meter before they could do their work. No extra charge for working on Sunday.

Their service has always been timely as well as professional and priced very fair. The plumbers are always neatly dressed, very courteous, and keep you advised throughout the repair process as to what they find and how they will resolve the issues.
In addition, their prices are quite competitive as well as transparent. They give you an up front price as to what the repair will cost and there's never any surprises.
Today, Rudy from AAA Auger came out and cleared a sewer line blockage for me. Not only did he clear the blockage, he ran a camera through the sewer line (at no charge) to ensure there were no other problems with the line--in addition, he recommended a periodic maintenance plan to ensure that I have no blockages in the future.
Bottom Line: I count on AAA Auger for all my plumbing needs and I implicitly trust them--they're that good, honest, and reliable. Absolute Worst.

RIDICULOUS AND TOTALLY INCOMPETENT. DO NOT USE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! I called AAA Auger due to a clog we experienced in our upstairs bathroom, the toilet would not flush and the shower would not draining either.
The plumbing technician Mr. Charles was here in less than one hour and ready to work; he was courteous and professional.
Mr. Charles was very persistent in unclogging the main drain line with the plumbing snake before considering removal of the toilet.
His persistence unclogged the main drain line, thereby saving us a lot of money. Thank you AAA Auger and Mr.
Charles. They honestly don't even deserve 1 star.
I had them scheduled to come out between 7:30-12 which to begin with is a big window. They call and tell me they are behind and can't be here until 4-6.
At 4:35 I get a call that they can't come out until tomorrow. Absolutely ridiculous and not very professional.
I wasted my whole day waiting on them. I called Will Fix it and they are scheduled to come between 9-11 on Monday.
I just drove behind one of their vehicles and they had a large, open, clear barrel of (plumbing liquids) that were spilling out the top and landing on the road and cars if they weren't careful. I stayed way back until I could pass them.
Excellent, Excellent service. I had a major leak in my house and caused severe water damage so bad that my ceiling caved in to my downstairs and flooded my kitchen.
I called AAA Auger and Tony answered my call and was very kind, professional, and very cheery for a late night call 10pm. He came out assessed the situation and was able to help us with our problem in a matter of minutes all for no charge which was awesome.
He also was able to recommend a company to help me get started cleaning up the water damage. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing issues.

AAA Auger just came out to my house for the 2nd time to fix a leak at my water meter that SAWS won't fix because the leak is on the side of the meter closest to my home and therefore not their responsibility. The first visit out they fixed the leak and then gladly came in to take care of a few simple issues in the house.

came to my house and did a tremendous job. He was so nice.
He did not like the way the repair was made the last time the company came out AND I was 2 weeks past my warranty, but since he wasn't satisfied with the previous repair he did the work for FREE!!! You bet I'm calling them again. Website says 24 hour service.
Called early @ 0230 requesting a plumber. Was told one would be out in 2 to 3 hours.
Waited up for him, but no show. Called again.
Was told, change of shift, someone should be out in 25 minutes. Yeah, right.
No show. Called again, was told another hour.

Very disappointed this time. I called to have a leak in my front yard fixed.
It was on my side of the water meter so SAWS said it was my responsibility. I called at about 9AM on a Friday morning and Stephen was at my house by 9:30.
He found the leak immediately and was able to repair it. When he was done it looked like nothing ever happened.
He replaced all the dirt and grass, washed down the sidewalk and made sure to give me my military discount. Stephen was very professional and made sure the repair was done properly.
I would definitely recommend this company to a friend. Had a plumbing issue, called another company who wasn't very accommodating then tried calling AAA auger.

Came home from work on Sunday @ 7am and was greeted by a small pond in my front yard. Not knowing what to do I called CPS and was told it was pretty much my problem and to call a plumber.
My son suggested yelp and the first to appear was AAA Auger. When I called the guy who answered (sorry I forgot your name) was very helpful, pleasant, and walked me through what to expect.
He said the guy was currently at another site and should arrive in about an hour. Sure enough the next call from AAA was to let me know the guy was on his way.
Brian came out and right away knew what was wrong and where to look. He went over what to expect and provided me with a quote.
After it was agreed he went straight to work. I cant believe how fast Brian was and how undisturbed the site looked when he was finished.
I am so grateful this company exist and that guys like Brian are out there to help us out at such short notice. I will def recommend to all and willnuse again in the future.

They could not find the blockage. They tracked raw sewage all over the house.
Instead of going in and out of the back door, 4 feet from the blocked/overflowing toilet, they chose to walk back and forth in the house tracking raw sewage all over the house. The lead guy even put his hand down on the table cloth, leaving his hand print, again with raw sewage.
The money we "saved" with the "senior discount" will be double with carpet and dry cleaning bills. Their ultimate solution was to spend $2000.00 with them to put in a drain outside the house.
They couldn't find the one we already have in front of the house! They advertise well and have good reviews, but not this one. I had called them once before and they came out to unclog a drain.
They were there 30 minutes and said that it wasn't worth their time and left. Our sewer backed up, and my regular plumber didn't have the equipment or expertise to tackle the job, and they recommended AAA Auger.
I will spare the details of the repair, but the point is that Jaime and Nick (both Nicks!) were extraordinarily professional, knowledgeable and capable. I don't know if AAA Auger is the least expensive option, but it was a pretty big job and it was done right and for a fair price.
I am very picky about customer service and business ethics, especially in an industry that is ripe with abuse and bad behavior, and these folks really are top notch. I have a new favorite plumbing company! Got great service from AAA Auger last Sat.

Gas control valve went bad on water heater. Part was under warranty so no cost for the part.
From the day I called in the problem to the day the part was installed was Saturday to Wednesday. That's four and a half days of ice cold showers in the month of November.
I believe if a little more effort was put into immediately acquiring / ordering a replacement part, it could have been shipped overnight. Long story short, I was overcharged for labor ( $300 for an hour's work).
Called office to discuss the enormous bill, and why they did not give me the 10% military discount even though I had printed the coupon from their website and provided it to the plumber. I called and left message after message.
A total of 4-5 calls. The dispatcher assured me I would receive a call back.
No office manager, no billing department person, nobody ever bothered to call me back. Bottom line: the water heater is fixed, but I know I overpaid for a warranty claim.
I also know this company has a long way to go in learning to provide exceptional customer service. I will use a different plumbing company for any future plumbing needs.
Perhaps one which actually cares enough to RETURN PHONE CALLS! Purchased a water heater 6/2011. It leaked 1 hour after they installed it.
They sent a person out to "fix" it "under warranty" 3 hours later. At the time I did not notice that they had also NOT installed the venting system correctly.
The vent stack was NOT attached to the water heater nor connected to the Vent stack. The gases and CO2 where being exhausted into the water heater closet.
on 10/2011 I noticed that the vent pipe was not attached to anything and called for repair. The person who came out said "i didn't want to do this for free".
He did not fix the problem and when I pointed out to him that there was still a hole in the vent stack, he said "NO there isn't, that's the way it's supposed to be and that's as good as it's going to get! If you want it fixed better you will have to call Monday and have the guy who installed it come out, that's his job" Gases and CO2 still leaking into the closet. I have called the city to come out and inspect this work.
They follow ZERO of their customer service creeds. Would NEVER use them again.
AAA Auger installed a new back flow preventer and certified testing of it in February 2014. The back flow preventer stated leaking badly in October 2014.
Isolation valves that they installed didn't work. Called for them to come out on Monday and arranged for appointment on Thursday morning.
They didn't show. I called and they said that they were short handed and apologized.
Rearranged visit for the the next day in the afternoon. They didn't show so I called again.
They said that they would send someone out before end of day. I had to leave for a dinner.
They called me at dinner and said that the repair was going to cost about $600 when I had paid almost $900 for the new facility only 8 months ago. Told them that they should repair for free and they said nothing.
I checked the next day and it was still leaking. I called and they told me that it was out of warranty and that they didn't repair it because I didn't authorize it.
Too bad for me. Sad that a company puts in a substandard facility with no cutout valves and won't repair their substandard work.
Would not recommend them to anyone. Work doesn't last and company doesn't honor their appointments.'''.
