We reached out originally on Yelp to discuss what we needed fixed and they quickly responded to us and provided a time window in which they could come the next business day. On the day of our appointment Veteran Plumbing called us when the technician was on their way and gave us a time estimate of when they would arrive, all of which was within the time window we were originally given. When Chris arrived he took a look at the sink, gave us our options and prices, and immediately got to work.

There was no pressure to continue service with them, but based on the pricing and our experience up to that point we decided to go with them. He even shared that we could go purchase our own disposal and have him install that or use the one of the ones he had.

We appreciated the options and transparency and felt assured we had selected the right person for the job. It took him under an hour complete the job and he provided some useful garbage disposal etiquette to us for the future.

While he was there we asked his opinion on another plumbing issue we were having and not only did he provide advice he also repaired that issue while he was there for a discounted price. Should we have any further plumbing needs or issues Veteran Plumbing are the first people we would call.

If you are reading this review, most likely you were like me looking for a plumber that did not upswell you on everything, then charge you these incredibly high prices for parts and pieces that cost less than a few hundred dollars. I shopped around a lot!!! I spoke to 5 plumbers, three coming to my house and one company that just never showed and I could not stand any of them so I looked again on Yelp.

Lo and behold VPS. I called and wondered if I was wasting my time- no way! They rocked.

I spoke to Dennis the owner, a retired navy engineer and family man with a lineage of family who are plumbers throughout the US. Dennis came to my house and was beyond friendly, accommodating and understanding.

He walked me through what we needed done, and how his workmanship is done at a higher caliper. There was zero pressure.

He was the first plumber I actually trusted. We determined that the PRV and emergency shut off needed to be replaced, in addition to a new flange on the gas fireplace, and talked to us about our water heater.

The very next day our water was fixed and the day after our fireplace. Wow what service.

I called Veteran Plumbing Service and wanted to just have a quote, thinking if people had no clue could send me a quote, why bother to come on site. VPS insist to come to site to give a quote.

After meeting Dennis, he explained the importance of seeing the work site before the quote and gave me quotes on two options: labor only and labor + parts. His quote is very reasonable.

Dennis said that I may not need to replace the check vault and told me the place to purchase parts - totally different from the other plumber, recommended for all replacements regardless. Dennis is correct.

There is need to replace the check vault. He got the work done in about 30 minutes.

Had our water main Pressure Reduction Valve installed yesterday by Dennis Rollins, founding proprietor of Veteran Plumbing Services, who did a great job at a very competitive price. It was a tricky installation in a tight spot behind drywall at the back of a pantry, but he took care to try to minimize disruption to the area.

He showed me how to operate the PRV, and assisted in calibrating current pressure to our desired level of about 80psi for us. If you call Veteran Plumbing, I'm pretty sure you'll be as happy as we are with the outcome.
