What happened: Someone's vape fell out of her pocket & accidentally got flushed down (I don't know why you'd think this was me, that's so weird of you). Everything seemed fine & this person was like, "oh thank goodness...
hope this doesn't come back to haunt me." Oh, it did- oh, it sure did. 3 weeks later the only toilet in the house was broken & of course we pulled out all the stops you'd use for a typical scenario, but this was no ordinary event now was it.
Ryan gave us 2 options v similar in price (the one we chose was $130). I was at my desk & 15 mins after he began, I turned around & my toilet was upside down.
I was like, woah. Then I got to see what's below an installed toilet (a portal to another universe).
The service was very quick & my bathroom was working perfectly after! I asked questions like "do you think the vape would end up in someone else's toilet?" & he explained why that wouldn't happen in probably the nicest way possible. Tomorrow: We live in a condo unit & it takes forever for our water to heat up, the biggest issue being in the shower when adjusting water has a significant delay & the adjustment isn't minor so you go from very warm to really cold.
It's like playing a game, but the game sucks. He said the issue for all faucets is related to a bigger source (that supplies heating to the entire building) BUT we could fix the shower issue.

Brian Lutche, the Field Manager, came out on time and called ahead and fixed the problem in moments. He didn't charge with it being under warranty and left behind a tool that can help us to free debree we cannot detect with our hands, so we can try that before calling them.
I recommend them for plumbing without reservation. 3:00 on a Friday, tub draining SO slow, son coming to stay for a week, one bathroom! Who is going to come out so late in the day today??? It has been our experience that we will have a very difficult time getting a plumber out at this late hour.

My master bath is up and running just fine! The scenario: Garbage disposal started leaking Saturday morning. Immediately get on Yelp looking for quotes.
Call a couple of places. One can't give me a quote until Monday.
Mr. Rooter can send a guy out today.
However, they cannot give me a quote over the phone. Not even a range of possible prices.
Like $100? $200? $500? The good: Techician (Brian) was there within an hour. Nice enough guy.
Finished the install in less than an hour. The bad: Asked for a quote.
He tells me $479. I ask what makes up the number.
$110 for the disposal, service call, install. No breakdown of labor, parts, taxes, service call or anything on the invoice.
(Invoice attached) So what is the labor cost? $350 an hour? He was here, I wanted it done, so I bit the bullet and had it done. I could have, and probably should have, waited for more quotes.
Maybe I pay the same price, maybe I save a hundred bucks or so. Who knows? My suggestion to the owner is to give the client a detailed breakdown of exactly what they are paying for.
I probably have a couple of thousand dollars worth of work that still needs to be done and I am not sure that I would call on them again. My suggestion to you is to ask for a detailed quote before they start the work.
