well, they came and did (not) the work while we were gone. No communication they were coming but did not forget to leave their invoice.

Now our gutters already need repair since they did not use the screws as specifically discussed. We had to find a new company to do.

Very sloppy business practice from every aspect. Will never use again! Not surprised to already see their bad score! Long story short: Thursday - went to the wrong house but said they would be out in the afternoon.

Did not show up Friday - said they'd be out to clean the gutters. Did not show up but said they'd be out on Saturday Saturday - no show again for the 3rd time Don't waste your time Gave me an estimate to have the work done on installing new drain line.

I chose them since they were the lowest bid (big mistake, I guess you get what you pay for). They started digging into my neighbors yard and when they were made aware, they didn't seem to understand what the issue was! Once they realized they could not cut through the neighbors yard, they tried to shake me down for additional money as it was taking too long??!!?? They also destroyed my yard and made no attempt to clean anything up.

They cut through my sidewalk because it was too difficult to dig underneath. I recommend staying far away from these people.

My experience with them is coming from inside the company. I scheduled a training day with Suzanne where we agreed upon a set pay, and she barely gave me a third of what we agreed upon.

I don't doubt that they did this to all the other trainees. As far as the work we did, IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Use it elsewhere.

We blew the gutters out with a leaf blower and left. I was shocked at how much they were charging.

The guy that was "training" just wasted time at every site, always had a cigarette lit, pocketed money from non customers who asked to have they're gutters cleaned and gave no concern to the safety of anyone but himself. Spend your money on people who care, not Dan the Gutter Man Complete mess of an operation...guy gets on the roof with a leaf blower and blows wet gutter junk all over the place...sidewalks, decks, covered in debris...

Scam. Not a fun situation when a tree branch damage your gutter.

However, Dan the Gutterman team came quickly to fix it by not only replacing the gutter, but adjusting it to get a better water flow. The replacement is seamless.

Very professional. I would recommend them anytime.

Daniel I needed a drainage pipe repaired, it was leaking into my lawn. Called in October 2018 to set the appointment, they told me it would be a month before they could make it out to my house.

The sent me an invoice in November 2018, had to collect $225 fee for NEW CUSTOMERS...without even speaking to me or coming to my house. Needless to say I didn't pay it, I never heard from them and randomly on January 9,2019 they arrived unannounced and started working on the pipe! The pipe was unable to be fixed, and they still attempted to collect the new customer fee from me.

I paid them after they told me what needed to be done to fix the issue, they never called back or returned. Pipe is still unfixed.

I think about this horrible company every time it rains and my yard floods. Thanks Dan Avoid them at all cost! Wish I would have seen these reviews prior to hiring them.

Received quote in mid-August for a drain line repair. I had to call them multiple times over the next two months just to get them out to the house to do the work.

They would tell me they were planning on coming and then no show. Once there (October), they said they didn't receive good enough info from the office about the job and therefore didn't have the right tools do the work...actually asked me if I had tools on hand they could borrow...

They leave and tell me someone will call me to reschedule. No call.

Another month passes with calls from me and false claims by them that they would be coming out. I called again in mid-November and now they tell me that they underestimated the work by nearly 500% (!!!), but were willing to do the work for 150% more than the original estimate...

The work was completed two days ago and there was zero attempt to restore the area they worked in. This company is a joke.

I will never use them again and advise others against employing them as well. I set an appointment for this business to come and clean my gutters and also give me an estimate for new gutters.

The crew gets to my home, rings the doorbell but doesn't wait to speak to me, they just got on the roof to to work. Once they were finished, I expected to speak to one of them about the job and the estimate, but once again they rang the doorbell and when I went to open the door they were halfway down the street.

The biggest problem was that on the invoice they left on the door was an additional charge for respiking the fronts gutters. At no point did these unprofessional workers come and get me to discuss my options, they just "fixed it" without my approval.

I spoke with the manager and she stated that her crew saw that the gutters on the front of my house we're hanging "they weren't " and that majority of the time when her crew comes across a problem on a house they just fix it and the customer is ok with the additional charges. REALLY! in what world when you're conducting business do you just tack on charges without the customers knowledge that they'll be paying extra.

She then she goes on to tell me she can charge me half the price of the additional charge or have the crew come back out to remove the new spikes that they allegedly put in. Or they can come back out to my house and explain to me what they did and charge me full price.

Oh and did i mention that when they put the alleged new spikes into my gutters they put new holes into my house. So, if they were to remove them I would have multiple holes in the side of my house that are exposed to the elements.

This is by far the worst business that I have ever dealt with. Stay away from them by all means.

So for that they get two stars. First time I called them, they came and did OK.

Called again on December 20, no answer, no call back. Called again at the end of December, the woman who answered said she didn't know why Suzanne hadn't added me to the schedule, said they'd send somebody out that week.

Friday of that week I called to remind them that that was their last day to send somebody. Didn't get a call back, nobody showed.

So, after 4 attempts over 3 months to get them to do the work, they're fired. Called the company in November and they said they would call before coming out.

Month and a half went by and they called us yesterday and said they would come today sometime. The crew of two showed up when we weren't home but on our nest camera it showed us when they arrived and they were here for a total of 13 minutes.

Two story house and detached garage in 13 minutes? Including taking the ladder off and putting it back on the truck. I know for sure they did not do the gutters in the front because we have cameras in the front and I have no idea If they did everything the back.

We called the company and they said they would get back to us. Won't use again! I had a crew of two- one sat in the car smoking and playing on his phone while the other struggled with the gutters.

When they left my yard was strewn with gutter guards that we paid extra to have removed as well as cigarette butts. And one gutter guard was just hanging off the gutter.

I call and was informed they were a new crew. Guessing they had not been trained.

I sent the owner pictures he apologized and said they would be back to correct... they never came back.

They rescheduled the work several times, but did not inform me until I called to ask where is the crew. On multiple occasions, they did not show up when they said they would.

I recommend finding a different provider. I wish I had seen Dan the Gutterman reviews on this sight.

No one came out to estimate, which they advertise they do, instead they looked at my house on goggle earth. From my 1st communication I said I wanted to be here.

Their timeline for getting here was, " as soon as we can"?, said in the middle of June,"Today they emailed saying I didn't have to be here,I ans right back saying I want to be here, call 5 min before u will get here, I'm 3 blocks away with grandkids. They never called have been here an gone an my valleys weren't cleaned out.

I didn't go for the cheapest company, I went for their expanded abilities they advertise. I'm speechless as to how bad they really are! I don't plan on paying their bill until they get back to me.

I called a few weeks ago to request an appointment. They said someone could come out the week of 12/3-12/7 and that they would call me that week with a specific date.

No call and no one showed, so I left a message on 12/6 for an update. No response.

Called again on 12/12 and left a message again, still no response. VERY POOR customer service.

I understand if you are busy this time of year, but to not show up and not even call back is unacceptable. I had great communication with Suzanne at "Dan the Gutterman " she was responsive and relayed my notes to her crew about the work and special needs that needed to be taken care of due to other contractors working in the same area.

The only downside was that the debris from our gutters was just thrown into our yard instead of properly disposing of it. They quoted me $145 over the phone to "reattach" my gutter.

When they guy arrived at my house, he just cleared a blockage in my gutter then he left. It took him a total 15 minutes.

I called to tell the office that he didn't end up needing to reattach and reinforce my gutter - it was literally one trip up the ladder. So I thought they would naturally give me a break on the price.

The lady said that a trip to the house is $145 no matter what... So yeah, I would avoid this company...

They are deceptive and dishonest. $145 per 15 minutes equals $580 per hour, which equals $1,206,400 per year as a full time job.

I've used this company in the past just to have my gutters cleaned out. I would call, leave a voice message and someone would be out within a week to clear out the gutters.

Not sure what happened in the last few years but they're service now is terrible. I called them on May 29th and she said it would be a week to 10 days.

It's now June 10th and no one has been out. I called them a few days ago to ask when I should expect someone and they haven't called back.

Not sure how they're staying in business. I'm searching for someone else to do business with.

I wish I had looked on Yelp before having these guys come out. Very similar results.

I had one gutter that would overflow during heavy rain and needed slopped, and I had an underground line plugged that they were supposed to look at and quote what it would take to fix. They ended up trying to snake the underground line, which honestly I was ok with, but then charged for an extra hour of work.

The line is STILL plugged. They put an piece of aluminum on the gutter that was to be re-sloped (still slopes the wrong way).

They then attempted to snake the other lines around my house, but did not replace the downspouts. I come home to find downspouts and elbows in my yard and a bill for $500 and the only thing I could tell was accomplished was the addition of a foot long piece of aluminum.

My experience was not what I expected. I had used this company about 25 years ago and received excellent service.

This time I called them because I had a leak in the back bedroom ceiling and when the insurance company representative went in the roof he found it was not the roof but one of the gutters needed to be turned a different way. I called Dan the Gutterman in January and was told they couldn't accept new clients for 4 to 6 weeks.

Okay. So I keep in touch with them.

I even forwarded the report from the guy who was on my roof telling them exactly what needed to be done. So in May I had knee replacement surgery and was away from my home for almost 3 weeks.

During that time they called and said they had been out and determined how much it would cost. This was left on my home phone answering service.

I called as soon as I returned home and the lady who answered said she would set up an appointment. In June the appointment was scheduled and on the morning of the appointment I got a call from Garrett at 9:58 am telling me he was "20 minutes away".

I waited all day and he did not show up. I called the office the next day and the lady who answered said she would check with him to see what happened.

She called me back later in the day and told me that Garrett said he had been to my house, rang the bell, knocked on the door and no one answered. I told her that was impossible since I have RING doorbell and if he did it would alert me that someone was at the front door and since I'm still in recovery mode I don't leave home very much.

She basically said "I don't know what to tell you, that's what he said". She then said she would reschedule for the following Monday.

Monday came and went and nobody. Mind you she had me send payment to her way back in May when we scheduled.

Finally 2 weeks ago a guy called and said he was on the way and he actually made it and the work was done. I mentioned this to a colleague of mine and she said if she had known that I had contacted this company she would have stopped me.

She knew a little more about the company and the owners and how the business had been doing since the Dad passed away. I will not use them again and hope this review helps others Horrible service I mean horrible.

Stopped at their office to speak to someone but couldn't reach the door because there's no handicap rap for me to reach the door. Then I called and spoke to a rude lady who seemed to not care about my business at all.

Went elsewhere I had a downspout that was misaligned and leaking water when it rained under the deck. When I called they came and inspected and the guy quotes "about $200".

The office then send an official quote the next day for $350. When I called to protest, they immediately reduced the price by $75.

Then after three weeks 3 guys came to fix the issue. They came and saw the place, and left saying they need to go get the equipment.

Came back about 90 minutes later. Then they removed the existing spout and tried to fix a pipe, but it was not long enough.

so instead of aligning it along the wall they aligned it across. did not have enough fasteners to fasten the pipe to the underside of the deck.

Then did not have the sleeves to correctly connect the pipe to the drain. every 10 minutes they needed to get some equipment from the truck, one of them will disappear for about 15 minutes.

finally, they did not tape or screw or do anything to fix the pipe to the downspout - used one of my plant pots to prop it up (which was a couple of inches too short) and left.. I finally had to engage someone else to fix it properly.

The only remotely professional person in this entire set up is Suzanne who answers the phone. will never call them again! I contacted this company in September to have my gutters cleaned, downspouts inspected, and underground drain lines snaked.

I requested that they contact me when they came to do the work so that I could discuss with them the issues that we were having. They allegedly came to the house and left me with a bill for over $500.00.

They claim to have cleaned out the gutters, snaked the underground drain lines, and installed a "drip edge" on our gutter system. Interestingly, I was home at the time that this work was allegedly performed.

I did not hear them, my German Shepherd did not hear them, and they did not bother to knock on the door. Two days later, we had a serious rain storm and the drains that they allegedly snaked did not move the water away from my home and we once again had matter back up into our basement.

We have since hired another company and replaced 5 of the exterior drain lines to our house because the lines were so badly damaged. I do not believe that this company performed the work that they claimed to have performed.

I have contacted them about my concerns and they have simply resent invoices to my house. Should be NO STARS.

I book a gutter repair. Never showed.

I Called three weeks later and they forgot I made an appointment. Made another appointment.

Showed up a week late after that appointment, told me they needed more materials and then never showed up or called me back. Don't do business with this company!!!!! Don't do it! Made an appontment, three weeks later they sent me an invoice for work that was never done (there were maple trees growing in all of my gutters - they gave me a hard time when I called to complain, so I sent pictures).

This was Friday, they promised to get the work done by Monday at the latest. Three beautiful days with no rain, and the job still wasn't done, so I cancelled on Wed.
