We were not told about the roots in the main sewer line when we bought the house. I can't afford to replace the line, but Zins has worked with us over the years to auger the line and even jet the line a couple of times.

The guys that come out are so courteous, and know what they're doing and know the house well. They're fantastic at what they do.

They're some of the best plumbers I've ever used. Zins has worked with us where payment was concerned and I'm not even sure I'd still own this house if not for their help.

Zins can attempt to auger or can use their water jet. They are very trustworthy and will work diligently to fix your issue as affordable as possible.

After speaking to Zins on the phone a few times with extremely nice receptionists we were able to schedule our appointment very easily and they listened to all of our plumbing concerns. Our plumber showed up early on our scheduled day and quickly knew what was going on with our home - which was a first for us! He provided us with a quote and did all of the work the same day.

We had A LOT of work done and the price came in at less than half of what we were expecting. As long as you accept their quotes you don't even have to pay for them to do the estimate which is extremely rare with plumbing companies.

We will only ever use Zins plumbing going forward and cannot recommend it enough. Zins, thank you for making us even more excited to move into our dream home this month.

Called regarding water in my backyard, was told the appropriate person would call me back-- it's been over 2 weeks and nothing Waste of our money. We had a poor experience earlier in the week with another Plumber so we switched to Zins based on positive reviews.

The earlier plumber had replaced our faucet and garbage disposal. Then later on our dishwasher started leaking so we contacted Zins to come out and take a look at it all.

We were told it would be $35 for someone to come out and inspect our issues. Upon arrival I was informed it would actually be $140 for a full investigation.

He didn't even look at the dishwasher! I was basically told if it leaks again I need a new one. I was also trying to balance my full time job remotely since we were given such a large window of time for their arrival.

I was on an important call when he arrived which I apologized for but it was frustrating to have to balance the two issues. Just wish there was a better window projection of time.

I was also informed the earlier plumber didn't give us great products. Well great what am I supposed to do about that now?! He just kept apologizing to me.

Even if we do need a new dishwasher I wish I would have gotten more of an "inspection" from the $140 we spent. Not impressed! Had them hydrojet a main sewer line out to street couple years ago because Jim the Plumber doesn't own that machine and he recommended Zins.

It's a little pricey but they did a great job and everything works like a dream. They were super careful running hoses thru window into basement, did great job of cleaning up any spills.

Its been so long I don't remember names but they were very personable people. Great service all around These guys used to be our plumbers but I had them change out a toilet recently and it cost a fortune.

No way that replacing a toilet costs more than the toilet itself. I told them I was very disappointed and heard nothing back.

My recommendation is find a reputable plumber. Theses guys don't deserve your business! The best plumber in our area, hands down, especially if you're looking for a commercial plumber.

Every person I interacted with at every level, from those answering our phone calls to the technicians working onsite, were very knowledgeable and respectful. They definitely deserve more than 5 stars! At this time I have to rate Zins Plumbing at one star.

I had Zins come to the house for an estimate on a few plumbing issues. The estimator Fred was professional and seem to know what needed to be done to correct the issues.

He also was able to give an estimate on the spot. The negatives are was that not only was the estimate higher than any of the other estimates.

However I still decided to give them a try. However when I called to schedule an appointment, they said that they couldn't do so at that time as had to talk to "Jim" who does the scheduling for the type of work I needed done.

I was told that he wasn't available and that he would call me tomorrow. Two days later (on a Friday) after still not hearing from Zins, I called them and "Holly" who answered the phone said that she will call "Jim" as he is the one to handle this.

She said to expect him to call back within an hour. He never called back.

I Called back two hours later and the receptionist stated that Jim was gone for the weekend and would call back on Monday. If someone cannot be trusted to follow through on small matters how can they be trusted on larger ones.

I would seem that either they are too disorganized to be able to do a simple task as setting up and appointment or that they do not care. At this time I have to rate Zins Plumbing at one star.

We booked Zin's for a plumbing service, they didn't show up. They just texted and said "sorry".

Unbelievable. Zin's came to help us fix a toilet that kept running.

They were prompt, polite ... didn't fix our problem - and kept our money even though we requested a refund.

~ Came recommended by CME & Calla Plumbing who are also on my Plumbing List These guys came in after Benjamin Franklin Plumbing came to my house and told me that I was going to have to spend $10,000+ on repairs to the plumbing in my house not including the damage they were going to incur in removing existing structures and damage to walls they were planning to open up. Zin's did a follow up scope to the one that CME did and determined that the broken pip could be fixed for under 5000.

They came in under time, under budget and figured out that most of the problem was immediately under the basement bathroom not all over the house. They were all friendly and respectful I can't say enough nice things about Zins Plumbing and work on both my clogged toilet (main reason for calling) and upstairs tub/shower drain (something I've been meaning to do as it drains pretty slowly.) I called this morning and made an appointment for Monday.

They had Saturday times, but I couldn't do those. But then Zins called me back and said they had a plumber available who finished early today and could come over in about 20 minutes! Griffin wore a mask and shoe coverings the whole time, taught me a few things I should know about old pipes and such, in a very helpful way and did a great job getting everything done and cleaned up.

This last time especially so since I plan to renovate the second floor bathroom where the sink was clogged. I did not want to have to replace any pipes now since the location of the sink will likely change.

? Disappointed Called this place to get an estimate on my remodel. When he was leaving he saw my neighbor parking her car on the street behind his van.

Guy lost it and approached my neighbor yelling and cursing. She's the sweetest woman I know and she has this jerk yelling in her face, I was worried he was going to do something to her.

Threatened to call the cops if he didn't leave her alone and leave immediately. Can't believe I let this guy in my house.

fast professional service and a fair price The problem with Zins is that to have a plumber come out one has to be available all day. They will not give you a smaller window.

Then they call you when the plumber is 20-30 min out. This might be different if it is an emergency.

Luckily I was working from home so it wasn't a problem but it could be for many other people. The work was excellent and the price was fine (the children dropped objects down the drain in the bathroom sink and it was clogged).

Like the first reviewer, I used Zins Plumbing for many years. But then they made a mistake that ruined my living room ceiling.

Basically, they failed to connect a water supply line properly, and it leaked many gallons of water on the ceiling, completely ruining it. Mistakes happen, and I believed the owner when he told me, "I just want to make it right." But he didn't.

Long story short, their insurance company would only cover half the cost, and Zins refused to cover the rest of it. It was a big hassle and cost my husband and I a lot of money.

Zins did great work for us for years, but I don't want to use a plumber that won't fix their mistakes. Zins charged me $250 for solving a problem that Roto rooter quoted me around $24,000 to fix...zins recognized the problem was on city property, notified the city and they fixed it immediately...zins used the same technology that roto rooter used...wouldn't you think roto rooter knew what zins saw? I certainly think so...I'll use zins on all my plumbing problems...

We had Mike come out for an inspection of our draining system yesterday at a house we are under contract on. He went above and beyond what he needed to do.

He did a walk through of the house and pointed out other issues that we needed to take into consideration. He was honest and thorough which is EXACTLY the kind of person you want on your side before buying a house.

Mike was friendly and took his time explaining everything to us. Highly recommend and will use again.

Ask for Mike! A few days before hosting a large party at our house, I entered the front door and smelled gas. Duke energy came over and shut down our gas until our leaks were repaired.

Zins came over later that day, removed the old pipes, installed new ones, and helped get us squared away with Duke. Zins' employees worked around the clock to make sure we would have heat and hot water for the party and when everyone was tied up, Ron (the owner) came over himself to fix what needed to get fixed.

One night, two of the Zins employees even came out at midnight. They were professional, reliable, and provided good advice.

I will definitely use them for future projects. Have heard that they are reliable and good to use, but I have not been impressed with the rude receptionist.

Very unhelpful. We received some misleading information of when we had an appointment and when we could expect the plumber to arrive.

The receptionist was anything but understanding, and I would say she was pissy at best. Rude receptionist in the office and customer service wasn't good.

They wouldn't give any idea of potential costs until you payed for a person to come out, even for things other plumbers have standard flat services. I have been using Zins for over 7 years now and have never had a bad experience with them.

They use fixed rates for jobs and not based on time spent. So you know what you are paying up front.

But $200 to install a bath faucet that I provided? And another $200 to install a couple of shutoff valves? The guy took less than an hour for the job and they charged $400 less about $25 in parts. My advice is use an independent plumber who charges a reasonable amount for the time spent.

Update. Discovered drain under sink was leaking 2 days later, so had to call them back to fix their installation.

I contacted Zins Plumbing for a bathtub leak that could not be located after 3 visits by the 2 different companies' plumbers my former home warranty company sent out. I was pleasantly surprised when they could send someone out the same day to look at the problem and give me a preliminary bid.

The plumber was able to schedule me for the next day. He completed the repair by the end of the day.

The service man was polite and helpful. He was even kind to my inquisitive 3 year old grandson.

I am very pleased and will definitely use Zins again, should the need arise. Zins was the third company I had out for a main sewer issue.

The only company to clear the line and find the issue was the Sewer Districts responsibly. A few weeks later the Sewer District repaired the break in the street at no cost to me.
