He was at my house 3 hours after me asking for help with my water heater on Yelp. He got straight to business, worked through the annoyances of how my heater unit was setup, and identified that a piece needed replacing.

He carried spares of common defective parts for my unit, which means he was able to swap this out for me on the spot. He even taught me a couple of things about how heater systems work.

And he charged an affordable rate, which I know because of having multiple other plumbers come out to unsuccessfully diagnose the issue. Thanks Max, expect a call next time something goes wrong :) Max is solid--I had a unique situation related to an ongoing rodent problem that required a smoke test to see if any undetectable openings would still be allowing rats to come inside our house, even though our rodent control guy already sealed the house.

Most places flat out refused the service altogether but Max was happy to assist. Found two open vents that needed to be extended out through the roof, highly likely the potential openings as Max discovered chewed vent hosing and rodent .

If left unattended he said raw sewage smell could come through. Now that this is addressed, our rodent guy can seal those vents and fingers crossed, can finally be rid of unwanted guests.

Max is very friendly, quick in responding to inquiries and questions over text, showed up on time for the project, and finished it quickly and efficiently. Will keep him in mind for future projects! My brand new Navien water heater had a bum part.

I looked up Navien certified techs in my area on their website and called the first one on the list. They showed up and diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts.

They then sent me a quote for over $850 for a 15 minute job that should be covered under warranty. I called Max.

He had the part on hand and agreed to install them the next morning and let me retrieve the parts from the other plumber and send them back to him. Total out of pocket cost.

Thank you Max. You rock! We bought an older home in Burbank a couple of months ago and needed an earthquake shut-off valve for the gas to make sure that if something happens the house wouldn't explode in the process.

It was called out multiple times by our inspectors that requested it be placed. But of course, the problem was more complex than just putting in a shut-off valve (it always seems to be).

I called dozens of plumbers and we got prices ranging from 300 all the way to 900. I called Max and even after he learned there would be a re-pipe since some components of the pipe were smaller than bigger and needed to be uniform he of course had to charge us more than agreed before but the price was more reasonable than any other plumber I had look at the picture.

He finished the job in about 2 hours and the new setup is awesome he even painted the pipes grey to avoid the rusting from the water heater. All in all a nice, honest, and hard-working dude.

Would highly recommend him. Had a great experience hiring Maksym recently.

Our washing machine was flooding, and the appliance company told us to check the drain pipe first. Max responded quickly and came out the next morning to determine that the drain pipe wasn't the source of the leak.

While he was there, we also had him provide an estimate for a pressure regulator. His price was fair and he was able to complete the work the same day.

I've used Max for multiple projects (three in total). He helped me with putting in a gas line for my grill, setting up new gas hook ups for a larger gas meter, and a full build out/installation of a water treatment system (water softener, RO system).

Max is very thorough, efficient, and easy to work with. He is transparent and sticks to his word.

I will continue to use him going forward. I had several different plumbers come by to give estimates, including my current plumber.

I had been in denial about a noise I'd been hearing for several weeks. For some reason, on New Year's Day, I was brought reality that the noise was a leaky pipe under my house.

Of course THEN I panicked. A friend both recommended & called Max.

He was kind enough to show up at my house at 5:30 p.m. that same night.

He had to crawl under a mud-filled foundation, remove and replace a portion of a leaky copper pipe. The entire visit took about an hour.

His final cost was UNBELIVABLEY REASONABLE - much lower then I could have ever imagined, especially on a holiday. His work, his work ethic, and personality are beyond a 5-Star review.

I had been working with a great plumber for a bit who wasn't available for a recent project so I took it to Yelp and after a few convos/quotes, Max checked the honest plumber vibe and bonus that he came at the best price. I had an idea of what to do and how long it would be which is a couple of hours for a pro, so the other quotes up to 3.5 times more (from someone who has 5 stars here) was insane! Max's quote was very fair and he is honest and the only one who bothered to even communicate what really needs to be done, which checks out from my previous research, so I really appreciate that.

Max will be my new go-to from now on! I had an RO unit to install under my sink and my once reliable plumber had started over charging for everything so I thought it a good time to shop around. SO HAPPY I DID! Not only did Max install the RO, he could hear water running and tracked it to a toilet we had previously had issues with.

Just came here to echo all the other 5 star reviews. Whatever Max says is wrong, is wrong.

The man is honest, hard working, professional, and neat. No games, shows up early, works hard the whole time, and does extremely clean work.

He has done multiple projects for me and found a leaking toilet, saving my sub floor. Can't say enough good things about this guy.

Do yourself a favor and hire him. I hired Max again in June 2023 and he did a great job once again.

Our main line to the house stopped working. Maximum plumbing was there within an hour.

He had the water back on in no time and had it fixed in a couple of hours. Very responsive! Our gas bill was 10 times higher than the previous month, so I sent a message to Maksym on Yelp to help find the leak.

He replied in 10 minutes with a next day appointment. He found the leak quickly, replaced the piping, and checked to make sure there were no other leaks.

I hired Maxim some time ago, in the fall, when I was visiting my sister in Burbank (Los Angeles). Late at night, a pipe burst in the basement of our house, we were awakened by a very loud noise of spilling water, I turned off the water in the house and decided to look for someone in the morning.

I was lucky and in the morning I found Maxim, he arrived an hour after my conversation with him, quickly found the reason and named the price of the repair work. My sister was satisfied with the price that Maxim called for emergency help with a copper pipe in the basement.

I appreciate Maxim for punctuality, high quality of work and friendliness. I will definitely recommend his plumbing services to all my friends in LA! Maksym went above and beyond with helping me install a new tankless water heater!
