I have a rental property in the Greenville area. When I saw a fellow Yelper leave a review I decided to give them a shot.

My resident was having some hot water and water pressure issues due to the city busting open a main water pipe that subsequently got dirt into my pipes and impacted my hot water heater. K&K was able to diagnose the issue, clean out the aerators, check pressure, and trouble shoot with the hot water manufacturer to find out what was the other issue.

A part died on the hot water heater that I had to order. I ordered the part for them to install and scheduled a visit for them Monday morning with the resident.

Come Monday morning K&K plumbing was very prompt and installed it. No fuss no muss.

And the resident was very happy with hot water. They are very prompt and to the point.

My only comment for improvement is that for invoicing I can't pay online, had to do that over the phone. No big deal.

Overall a good experience. Chris, Ray, etc have been great to work with on my rental and my primary home.

The respond quickly, do great work, give feedback as to what they found and did, etc. They have been able to get work done sooner than original projected time as well.

I definitely recommend them for your plumbing needs. Great company to do business with.

They have done 2 bathroom remodels in our house! One for the master and one for the hall bath! Completely satisfied and happy with both! Would recommend them to anyone! Requested a quote for a job at my farm on 6/13. Today is 6/27/22 and have still not heard back.

If you don't want the job you should call and let the potential client know rather than ignoring them. Ray and Robert were fantastic very helpful and recommended some important repairs I wasn't aware of.

They replaced 3 feet of my cast iron sewer line in less then a hour! Good price even better people couldn't ask for more! Very good work & friendly guys! They called us to let us know when they were on their way and got to work immediately before taking a lunch break and coming back to finish the job. I actually thought that laying new water lines would be a messier process but our lawn looks a lot better than I thought it would as they went back after they were done to level out the dirt and clean it up a bit.

They took the time to make sure everything was installed properly in my fiberglass shower/tub combo and saved me about $9,000 from having to rip out the whole shower and pay for a full shower remodel.

They additionally cleaned up everything when finished. My shower finally works again after four months of being out of service and having multiple replacement bids.

I think I found my plumber. We just bought a house last year in flower mound and tried a couple of plumbers for different issues including a stopped up sewer.

John came highly recommended and we originally had him scheduled to come out to install bathtub fixtures. Then our drain stopped up and he came out immediately the next morning to fix the issue identifying what others had not that there was a hole in our pipe with a root growing through it.

24 hours later John had his out here digging up the pipe. They found some creative plumbing to say the least and identified 3 holes, making sure to fix everything the right way before closing everything up good as new.

All of this for a VERY reasonable price. I highly recommend John and his team.

Not long after completing the appointment booking process, they cancelled my appointment. They said they were completely booked *and* my home was too far away.

I believe this was, at best, a case of them overbooking and looking to get out of it. My home and their office haven't moved since January, so it isn't too far away.

And if they booked the appointment (via automated system - you get texts, etc.) then obviously they have the appointment available in the first place. I would have preferred it be handled differently -- keep the appointment, but then inform me that it's too far for next time (if that's the case), or by keeping the appointment and taking steps to not overbook in the future.

The business owner does seem like a god guy and a well known plumber, but the running of the business is important, too, to keep customers happy. We woke to the sound of water running under our house due to critters chewing through the plastic pipes.

The temporary solution was to shut off water to the house. When I called Advanced Plumbing at 7:30am, John understood the problem and sensed the desperation in my voice.

In spite of rain and the temperature hovering just above freezing, John worked under my house for over an hour replacing damaged pipe. He provided evidence of the damage and the repairs via pictures so I didn't have to crawl under the house to see it myself.

He then changed it to an hour and a half and asked me how far it was from his area (Denton) to the home (Little Elm) - again this struck me as lazy (Google it) and indicated that they do not even know their own service area very well.

About 30 minutes after sending him the info he requested my credit card info via text. I told him I wasn't sending that info via text and asked him to call me.

The next message was that he could no longer do it because it is not my home - something I told him over the phone. Final analysis: if you manage a rental property or are a remote owner of a rental property this is not the plumbing company for you.

IF you want to be delighted and satisfied - call them! Own a house in the area and my college-aged daughter and room mates live there. I live in DC.

My daughter called John to help determine the source of a leak. He indicated that it stemmed from the toilet being backed up.

John fixed that issue but indicated that a pressure test was needed to determine if there was still a leak. Over the phone I asked him if he could do the test while there and he said that it wasn't an emergency and would need to be rescheduled.

We scheduled the pressure test for 3 days later with him. Once he left the job site he sent my daughter a text message telling her that he is cancelling the appointment and to find another company.
