Review and analyze now for company Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Pitt County and provide the analysis in the discussed format for the following reviews: '''always a perfect job Been using Mr Rooter for 20 years and can always rely on them.
The do my check valve every year required by the city. Never worry about it being done Austin provided very good service the same day as I contacted Mr.
Rooter. We are very pleased with the service and response time.
We will definitely use Mr. Rooter Plumbing in the future.
Incredibly aggressive collection. Great response and customer service.
But daily calls and e-mail for payment immediately after service. So much that even though I'm well acquainted with the staff.
I'm not sure I'll use them again. Net 30.
Negative. Immediate payment requested.
Happy with the service Mr Rooter provided. They were very communicative in when they would come out and provided a quote for the work they were planning to do.
Reliable and professional. Made appointment on Friday.
Received confirmation phone call after making appointment. Received 2 texts confirming appointment that was scheduled on Monday.
Received call at 1:30 pm informing me that they have to cancel appointment. Have no reason.
I asked to see when next availability would be, Thursday. Pathetic, this is the Winterville location.
Time for my annual hot water heater flush. They called ahead to let me know when they will arrive.
Very polite and professional performing the flush. Cleaned up after and thanked us for keeping up with the service.
We needed a toilet to be removed (not replaced with a new one). The toilet being removed was functional and had no issues.
We are in the process of remodeling and needed to get toilet removed to finish the 1/2 bath (flooring and walls). The vanity had already been removed.
The young man came out there the same day and quoted me $375 for the project (took less than an hour to finish) but not being a plumbing expert I accepted this rate assuming this is a reputable company with fair pricing. I have since found out that $375 for a toilet (with no repairs needed) and replace flange to cut off sewer is extremely high.
I was in a hurry the day that I had the work done so I did not do my research. So that all falls on me.
However at least wanted to share with others. Do your research.
After I did my research I found that toilet removal like we had done would cost anywhere from $125-$175. But definitely not close to $400.
Again do your research. Personally I would not recommend this company unless you were in a hurry or were just desperate to have the work done quickly.
I called the supervisor in hopes that a price adjustment could be made but she honored that price and said that is the amount that I paid. So it is what it is.
I just won't recommend them to anyone else moving forward. They do an amazing job.
Always polite and very courtesy. Very knowledgeable group of young men that work for this company Made an appointment the tech was late when he called he had the wrong address listed, once he arrived to my house he and his co worker did not give upfront pricing quotes before starting service .
One employee stayed in house to snake the kitchen sink and the other went under the house. after 2 unsuccessful attempts to fix the issue and not attempting other drain access locations.
the main tech stated that the old cast iron pipes would have to be replaced I could either replace just enough to fix the issue for $1444 or replace all the pipes for 5130. I ended up paying $374 for drain to be snaked and nothing to be resolved as a single mom around the holidays i feel like the company should have done better.
When i called to complain i was told that i was given the good, better, best option and that the tech does not climb on the roof even if the plumbing is connected. and that they dont when someone bad mouths the company.
I was told that the issue would be sent to the owner for review and im still awaiting his reply. I Called Hardee Plumbing for a 2nd opinion the tech that came out to house was on time! The whole appointment was maybe 30 minutes and after trying to snake the drain with nothing slowing the snake down or sign of blockage the tech went outside noticed that one of the roof vents was clogged made quick action to clear it and like magic the kitchen sink was able to drain successfully for a total of $207.
SO ended up out of pocket close to $600 and felt Like Mr. Rooters main concern after seeing the Cast iron pipes was to sell me on a new plumbing.
JR and Storm from Mr. Rooter were a joy to work with on our plumbing reconstruction.
They were very professional and did a great job assessing our problem and fixing it. I highly recommend them for any plumbing work! Our water heater was replaced.
I preferred a tankless, but the technician made it sound like it wld have been a huge hassle and would require "a lot of guys to be there". Seemed to be very rushed, but polite.
Found it leaking hours later, and when they came out he blamed it on the manufacturer. (It was leaking from the copper connector that he installed) he almost stripped it getting it loose and when I asked him about it, he gave me a mumbled answer and asked his coworker to get another type of wrench.
I felt that he was annoyed to be back. He stayed a total of 15 min and did a very sloppy job.
I have used them several times, with no problems. Andrew is the only tech that I wld recommend.
This tech has me checking the product for leaks daily now... I would only recommend Mr.
Rooter in case of an emergency. Work was done but price was indicative of a company with a customer over a barrel.
I tried to reach out to other plumbing companies in the area and they were the only ones that could make it out in the same day. Good work, but have your wallet ready.
I called them to run three gas lines to various appliances, I have a crawl space under the house and a gas meter on the back wall. They quoted me $5500 in the house and $6100 when the rep called after the inspection.
I questionEd the high price as the materials was less than $400 to do the job. This company charges certain people higher price to do jobs.
another company charged me $1500 to do the job. Stay away! My technician was friendly yet professional.
Had to go back to shop to get some parts but returned very promptly, completed the job& cleaned up debris. I was pleased with the work & would definitely call upon them again.
Absolutely horrible! This company made an appointment with us so we took the day off of work and they never showed or called. When we contacted them they said that they no longer had anyone they could send out.
Period. No call.
Nothing. Ridiculous way to run a business.
I gave 2 stars ONLY because the technician who came to my job was EXTREMELY professional and courteous. It's unfortunate..but maybe fortunate for me..that he was not able to complete the work because he didn't have the correct parts.
We scheduled him to come back another day to do the work. When I called his home office to notify them that I needed help in completing a claim with my home warranty, the lady (I'm assuming she was a receptionist or admin support ??)wouldn't hear me.
"We don't do that" Nothing I said changed it..told her I was paying them, money was coming out of my pocket but the warranty company was going to reimburse me. Still kept saying we don't do that.
Needless to say, after this exchange, I cancelled the job. Despite the young tech being so great, I can't give give my money to a company with rude and less than helpful employees!! They came out EARLY on Tuesday and the job was done on time by Wednesday at noon.
Needed all new pipes and I spent $1500. We are very happy with them.
I had a water pipe burst on Tuesday the 24th and i call Mr Rooter and their send out the BEST PLUMMER IN TOWN JEFF was great with me being a women and my husband what not home to handle the issue I felt like JEFF was honest and give me what i need to fix the problem. He is a great asset to this company i have told all my friends about Mr Rooter and about JEFF he is just AWESOME ....If i need any more work i will be call to have JEFF come back out to fix any thing else that goes wrong in my house.
Endia Womack in greenville nc The technician was polite, knowledgeable and helpful. He was appropriately dressed for safety.
Unfortunately the desk or scheduler didn't write up the work order correctly, so this delayed some of the maintenance. The technician continued to work even in the rain and did a great job.
The technician is a keeper. The rates are way too high.
Please compare before you have them do your work. You will always save money with someone else.
They are a chain and corporate dictates the rates and gets a percentage also. Be smart! Thinks its appropriate to charge $2700 to clear a main clog.
Firm takes advantage of emergencies. A clog that could have been cleaned with a power auger.
A few years ago my brother called this company to replace a water heater for my mom. No issues.
Earlier this month, she experienced plumbing issues. I called them again for support.
When the gentleman came out, he quoted my brother $345. By the time I received the quote it was nearly $600.
What bothered me the most is the document never indicated a real problem. The quote literally was charging me $600 to explore my mother's plumbing.
Reluctantly, I moved forward with the service only to receive a call stating the price was now 600% higher. That's right $4000.
Why? Because the diagnostic camera was not conducive for discovering or repairing the issue. As a result, their solution is to replace all of the pipes in the home.
If I took my car to a mechanic and his solution to my issue was "buy a new car", I'd get a new mechanic. I'm getting a new plumber.
Use them at your own risk. That's my advice.
Be careful. not only no...but helll no!! if there was an option for no stars i would use it! long story short my fiancee thought she lost her engagement ring down the shower drain and went into panic, we had just got engaged a week before, she was crying and upset so she calls this company yesterday and gets tameka on the phone and starts to explain to her what she thought just happened and asks is there any chance of getting her ring back....what was tomeka's response?? she starts laughing??!! i know because i was standing there listening to my fiancee say "did you just laugh?!} and she replied "well yeah..i mean ..that's not cool" my fiancee went off and was like why the hell would you think this is funny ? and she replied well, i never heard of anyone doing that before.."are you f*ing kidding me ??? seriously??? she is lucky i couldn't go through the phone at that minute ! never....ever...ever..use this company!!! btw..we hung up on her called another company (eastern plumbing) and they were polite, professional and above all compassionate to the situation and yes...we found her ring!!!!'''.
