Great! I was so excited. Then I asked him how much the service fee was and he promptly called me for more details.
Once I explained the issue, he was able to diagnose the problem over the phone! He informed me of the price, told me the type of tool he would have to use and explained I was about an hour south of him-- so the fee would be higher than if I was in the neighborhood. The thing that stood out to me was that he said that the fee would be about $245 to unclog it but that he knew of some other trustworthy plumbers in my area and then he proceeded to text me their info! He was more concerned about me getting my issue resolved than about trying to make an extra buck.
I sincerely appreciated the time and referral because most plumbers wouldn't have done that. Nevertheless, I decided to go Home Depot to try to unclog it myself with an auger and then I told him if I couldn't resolve it I would call him before our appointment time.
Thankfully, I was able to clear up my issue immediately and let him know so he didn't have to make the drive. He also gave me some advice on how to fix a low pressure issue with some faucets.

Highly recommend! Emilio came out to my home to re-seat 3 toilets in my home. I had removed the carpet and tile from my home and was now going with concrete floors so the flange for each toilet was sitting too high.

I know it's easy to bash local businesses who do poorly so when I have an exceptionally good experience, I like to do a shout out...I rushed to look on the Manor People Facebook page a few days ago to find a plumber recommendation because, being really handy, I can typically install most things but we got a "smart toilet" that does everything but vacuum the carpets (LOL) and I actually got it mostly installed myself until I got to the last part of hooking up a T-valve to the tank and toilet and wall and it just was not working. But everything else electronic was in place and I was stuck.
But without that, we had no working toilet...hubby was at work. I saw Everest Plumbing was recommended twice...
I called Emilio Hidrogo wand he answered and said he could squeeze me in between two jobs and be over in 30 minutes! He ran into the same issue as me but showed me some parts that came with the toilet tubing that had plastic on them and explained they would wear out too quickly and replaced them with metal parts...but the T valve just did not fit even though our house is new. After reading some reviews on the toilet I had bought on my own, it turns out it's a common issue with this company and a faulty or European valve and it does not fit most toilets.
Still, in spite of this, Emilio said he didn't feel right charging me even though the manufacturer was the one who made it impossible to install on the toilet... I had intended to return it and get a different brand but was SO thankful I did not have to pay a huge plumbing bill on top of that when it could not be installed.
The better metal plumbing parts Emilio left on and made it so the toilet worked, even though the smart components would not, and I planned to replaced the unit. The next day Emilio called me and said he had thought about how to replace the manufacturer part with a different T valve lower on the tubing to connect it and he had done it several times for dishwashers and he was positive it would work and we would just circumvent the faulty part.
He came out and did that and he was right...it works perfectly! He even brought his daughter out who just got her plumbing license and was training with him and she put in a new faucet upgrade in a color we preferred that I had bought for a different bathroom and encountered an issue from a drip on the porcelain within that bathroom that could have caused issues and fixed that. Of course I then paid him for the original fair pricing he requested even though I got more than just hooking up a bidet with the original lesser parts.
He is super honest, fair, and I was surprised he went home trying to solve my issue that was a manufacturer part issue and came up with a solution. That's smarts and passion for the job.

I had the water shut off to the upstairs bathroom for a bathroom remodel. After completing the work for the shower and attaching the fixtures I turned the water back on and allowed it to run for a short time.
Later that day I noticed a small water stain on the ceiling in my downstairs living space, directly below the upstairs shower. Having spent FAR too much time on the remodel I was in no mood to try and figure out what the issue was and decided to call out a plumber.
After doing a search on Yelp I decided on a plumber and gave them a call. However, they were scheduled out a week in advance so they referred me to Everest Plumbing.
I called Everest, got an immediate response and was able to schedule first thing the following morning. The following morning I received a text notifying me of the approximate arrival time.
Having to drop my kid off at school meant I would be cutting it close so I let them know and they were happy to accommodate me by adjusting the arrival time slightly. Once the plumber arrived I showed him what I had observed and showed him the bathroom.
After checking a few things and not finding anything obvious it was decided we'd run the water to see if we noticed any more spots downstairs. We ran the water for a good 30-40 min and no water was observed.
The plumber said he could cut a hole in the ceiling to see if he could locate any leak and gave me the price. I asked him if it was him and it was his house what he would do, expecting he'd likely say to cut into the ceiling.
BUT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE!! We talked it over and decided to do nothing at the moment, but continue to use the bathroom and if I noticed any more water to give him a call and he'd be out without hesitation. That was about 2-3 weeks ago and no additional water spotting has occurred, and the shower has been used daily sometimes by multiple people visiting for the holiday.
Must have been a small leak when I initially installed the fixtures that self corrected. Anyways, to end this long review I just want to say I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVEREST PLUMBING!!! They have won my business for any and ALL future plumbing needs I may have (fingers crossed it will be few and far between).
I had my countertops replaced as well as the sink, but still needed to install the sink hardware and attach all of the under-sink plumbing. I ran into a problem with a leaky hot water value and couldn't fix it myself, and it was getting into the evening hours.

Full disclosure, I didn't wind up having any services performed by Everest due to availability and the the my perception of the severity of my issue. Even after I told him that I would be going with someone else who could schedule me sooner, Emilio personally called me and answered some questions that I had such as, do I need to turn off my natural gas if I have a sewer gas leak? He was super helpful despite knowing that he wasn't going to get my business for this specific issue.

We had three new toto toilets installed along with the washlet lid for one. I collected bids from three different companies, and Everest had the best price by far.
The installation went seamlessly, and I couldn't be happier with the results. One of my young children decided it would be a good idea to flush several toys down our toilet.
Needless to say, the toilet had problems flushing properly afterward. I tried using a plunger, a toilet auger, and even a small metal grappling device to retrieve the toys from the toilet, and after several attempts I wasn't able to remove a single one of them.
So then I called Everest Plumbing and spoke with Emilio. He told me he could come and fix my problem for what seemed to be a reasonable price later that same day between 4 and 5 PM, after he had finished some other jobs.
He notified me when he was about 30 minutes away and told me he'd be arriving around 4:35 PM. He arrived when he said he would, and he was able to unbolt my toilet so that he could get all the toys out of it.

I can see where they are making it easy for people to file insurance claims, etc., really professional work! Seriously couldn't ask for anything more. It was a bit pricy (i think it was $365 and that was the initial quote that included repair) to come out on an emergency basis, but when you're flooding you don't care as much.
