Whole process was super easy especially for landlords!! I reached out to Johnny a year ago for a quote on replacing my ~20 year old water heater. After talking to family, they suggested I wait until it gives out.

Not once during the estimate process was Johnny pushy or aggressive. He answered all the questions we had (we are new homeowners and we were all over the place trying to learn about tankless, gas, electric, hybrid, etc..), even though we did not initially follow through with any work.

A year later, our water heater finally broke! Johnny was the obvious choice we wanted to reach out as we were left with a good impression with his authenticity, friendliness, knowledge, and care into our home project. He replied immediately, gave us a great price, and came first thing the next day! I'll also add that it seems some yelp pages have a lot of fake reviews, but when you take a look at Citywide Plumbing, you can tell these are real customers who are happy with their work.

I only hope Johnny has enough time for me again in the future. :) Our shower developed a leak and the first handy-man I had try to fix it replaced the cold valve stem (I think), and the problem seemed to be fixed.

It just came back a couple weeks later, though. So we decided to get real plumbing pros to do it.

I reached out to Citywide based on their Yelp! rating, and I'll get to the details, but they earn every star. I included pictures, and Jessica got right back to me with a quote in 20 minutes.

She explained they could only do a new single-handle Delta valve, would need to open the drywall, and would retain the removed section for easier drywall repair. This gave us the opportunity to replace the fixtures for the whole bathroom in matte black, something we'd been wanting to do anyway.

Jessica patiently worked through the details with us, advised us on parts ordering, and delivered an updated quote covering replacing all the fixtures. Johnny arrived on time in a serious, "I brought everything I could possibly need" work truck.

We went over the work site, I cut the house water, and he got to work. A couple hours later, we checked out the finished work, turned the water back on, and it was perfect.

No leaks, and he also fixed a looseness in the pipe running up to the showerhead so it won't move in and out anymore. Johnny wore foot covers to keep our floor clean between the front door and bathroom, protected our bathroom shelves from sheetrock dust, and cleaned the bathroom really well after the work was done.

He communicated well and was a great professional. I highly recommend Citywide.

The guy came out on time (sorry, his name escapes me) and was so easy going and knowledgeable. I called them out to assess some issues in my crawlspace and saved me a ton of money by seeing the simple cause of an otherwise complicated problem.

The things that made my experience with Citywide Plumbing great: - my phone call was answered by the service provider (not a 3rd party answering service or a machine) - I received a quote over the phone - was able to get a same day appointment and Johnny arrived on time - Johnny put on shoe covers before entering our home and without being prompted to! - Johnny was friendly and efficient (and of course, successful in clearing the kitchen sink drain) - as a bonus, he noted that the garbage disposal and dishwasher hose were not ideally situated and proactively addressed those Called and got a same day appointment.

Johnny called about an hour later and came early. He was professional, courteous and our hero of the day; although it took almost 2 hours to fix the draining problems with old building pipes (Dolores Street) he worked until he got it done.

Great Job! Had a leak from under my sink. It turned out that a pipe had simply come a loose.

Johnny, who was very pleasant from the start, came out, showed me the loose pipe, and reattached it for no charge since there was nothing else to do. He also took a look at my slow flushing toilet and recommended that I don't spend the money on the parts for my old toilet due to the cost.

He suggested that I wait and consider replacing that old toilet with a new one, eventually. Gonna take that advice, and I greatly appreciate the kindness and sincerity.

One contractor came out and didn't really know what to do. He ultimately flaked out.

Then I called Johnny at Citywide. He came in two hours and methodically analyzed the problem, cutting access holes as needed and snaking the pipes without solving the problem.

Then he looked outside and noticed the external drain pipes were the likely problem. It was the source of the blockage and the leak.

Replacing the rusted clogged pipe fixed the problem. He also dealt with two slow running shower drains that were easy to fix.

Price was a bit steep but he did a very good and professional job. Johnny is super great! We had him unclog our bathroom sink and he was in and out within 10 minutes.

I have an older home with outdated plumbing.Had a slow draining bathroom sink and leaking faucets.I tried to fix it myself and realized it was beyond me.I called CITYWIDE PLUMBING in the morning and Johnny called me back in less than 15min.He said he would come tomorrow around 12.He called me around 11 and said his other client finished early.Johnny came saw the problem and started working. I had destroyed my garbage disposal by putting Drano in it for ten years (yes, I'm an idiot) and water was leaking all over my kitchen floor. Johnny was on-the-spot literally within a couple of hours and fixed me up with a brand new disposal in a flash.
