Our main line was clogged. All 3 toilets in our home were backed up and sewer water backed up into our laundry room! The guys at Drain Works responded first and was available within 2 hours.

They came prepared; masked up and even has booties so they don't stain our floors. They took a camera down the main line and showed us exactly what the issue was.

After quoting us a very reasonable price, they were available immediately the next day on the big job. They dug up 3 containers of tree roots and dirt in our main line! The job took 3 days to complete.

Each day they meticulously laid out plastic coverings everywhere and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day. They really saved the day for us especially during these times.

Would definitely recommend them to anyone and will use them again for future plumbing services. Erick and Manny came out to replace two outdoor faucets, add one new outdoor faucet, and rod our bathroom sink and bathtub.

They were knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. The price was reasonable, and they will be the first people I call the next time we need plumbing work on our house or rental units.

So relieved to have the shower leak fixed, Eric was great to work with Def recommend! Erick from DW was so great. He came the day I called (that same afternoon), and was super communicative / explained exactly what our issue was, the cost, several options on how to approach solving it, etc.

On top of that, our water shut off was buried under a foot of snow, and he worked with his associate for a full hour outside trying to find it. I very much appreciated the extra time he took in trying to solve the problem.

Eric came out when our basement was flooded and within 2 hours of our call have the drain opened and the water gone on a SATURDAY! If you need a plumber look no further he's your guy! Erick and his team replaced a drain line that was consistently clogging and causing issues because it had been installed incorrectly. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it by enlarging the pipe leading to the sewer line.

They were quick, highly communicative and did high quality work. Had an excellent experience with Drain Works.

Estimate was very fair for the work that needed to be done and well explained. Finished the job the same day and the piping installed was tested.

Also gave a one year warranty on the work .These guys are true professionals (licensed and bonded) and I would use them again in heartbeat! If you have a serious plumbing issue go directly to a professional and skip Drain Works. Erik is a nice enough guy but his niceness could not overcome his lack of knowledge.

Diagnosing my issue took him all day and he mentioned several times he'd rather be with his family instead out in the cold and I was out almost $1000 in the end (for his time!!!)with NO FIX!!. When I got a second opinion that company diagnosed and came up with a plan within 45 minutes without me telling them what the first opinion was.

If you have a simple issue you might be fine as long as the older gentleman is with him. Otherwise BEWARE.

EDIT 3/10/22: Hi Karla thanks for your reply. You were not there so let me offer some clarification to what you're putting out to the public.

The offer to put half my bill ($500) was toward a whopping $5000 of additional work. I did not trust Erik to do ANY more work on my house because each step that he took came with more and more costs.

He started at $350 and we ended at $1000. He was too nervous about putting his "very expensive" camera down my basement toilet so he put it in my second floor toilet which of course came with an additional charge.

Why more money to do the same thing? Then, when that did not work even though he told my boyfriend that he was "certain" it would work he decided to put it down my catch basin for another charge. Again, why more money on top of money to do the same thing? In the end when he was about to leave with no fix and my boyfriend and I were very upset he offered to put the $500 toward the $5000 estimated charges for pursing additional work.

No way, no thank you. The professional plumber that came after Erik put the camera in the right place the first time without additional charges and it was fixed with no issues or comments that if his camera broke in my basement toilet I would be on the hook for it.

I feel as though Erik should be contacting me with a $500 refund. Just want the public to be aware that serious plumbing issues should be looked at by someone with more experience.

The company is called C&K Plumbing out of Georgetown. I needed a toilet pick up and replacement install and a sink fixture repaired.

Get this, when I placed a call to them, they actually answered the phone - I wasn't told I had to go online and schedule a service for some category that was not relevant to my needs. The lady that took my call was Nancy.

Not only did she get me an appointment for the very next day, but she told me what it would cost and exactly what they would be doing along with any issues that could potentially arise with this kind of replacement installation. Two young men showed up the next day, on time, with protective sleeves for their feet, and walked me through what they were going to do.

They also came prepared for troubleshooting the issues Nancy and I had discussed the previous day. I could tell from talking to them that they were competent and knowledgeable.

They were also fast, efficient and charged me exactly what I was quoted. They were clean, respectful of my house and courteous to me.

I recorded their company name and number so that they could be my #1 plumber of choice for the future. They were amazing.

C&K Plumbing 512-963-2004. Our kitchen sink was clogged and C&K was recommended to me by a neighbor.

I called them and luckily I was able to schedule an appointment that day. The technicians that came out were friendly and were quickly able to unclog my sink.

I would definitely use them again in the future based on this experience. This is a great family team! We were having some issues with our toilet and they came out quickly and replaced it as it was old and wasting water.

They are very professional, neat, and show up as promised. I would call them back in a heartbeat for any plumbing issues I might have.

I had a cracked main sewer line which had previously been repaired by ARS several years ago. I contacted C&K initially to clear the line, which they did within a day of contacting them.

At the time, they also diagnosed the issue- roots getting into the drain within a foot of the access point. I told Matt of C&K the ARS warranty was still good and I would contact them for repair.

I contacted ARS, was told someone would call me back- no one did. A few days later I called again, was told someone would contact me- no one did.

I called one more time, same thing, no one ever called me back. I could not wait much longer to get this repaired and had to clean the line again.

Since ARS never responded I called C&K about the repair and was able to schedule it about 4 days out. I had planned to take out the shrubs around the access point anyway and asked C&K if they would work with me on the price if I did the initial digging and they agreed.

I was told the amount would vary depending on how much I was able to get done. They showed up on time and got to work.

I had dug far enough to find the issue. It wasn't a crack in the pipe, it was the sleeve ARS put on that had slid off.

ARS had told me they put on a flexible joint that would prevent "settling" of dirt/foundation to crack the pipe again. Well, it didn't crack- their repair didn't hold.

C&K finished up in a couple of hours, completely redesigned the line to take pressure off the "joint" and said the way it had been done previously was going to fail due to lack of proper installation and not properly packing the dirt upon completion. The picture is the ARS failed joint, I was so happy I forgot to take pictures of the new line......oops.

Essentially, they moved the flexible portion off of a 45 degree and placed it on a straight pipe to allow for movement but without the pressure of the angle. It made sense to me.

I will use C&K from here on out for plumbing and refer them to others. They were prompt, courteous, and fair with pricing.

They reduced the repair costs since I had dug the hole. It was more than I had originally thought it might be too.

If you have plumbing issues, definitely give C&K a call. C&K Plumbing has provided service at my house for at least 5 times in the last three years.

They have installed toilets, repaired gas lines, and fixed water leaks. They are honest, forthright, fair and fast.

Previously, I cringed when I had to call a plumber. Not anymore.

As long as they are in business, I won't go anywhere else! A pipe busted out at my Ranch In Lampasas. I could not make it out there to meet the team.

The owner asked for access and within a couple of hours he called me back telling me repairs have been made. This is world class customer service.

Pre-plumb loop installation When Claude came to give an estimate he said they may have to dig from the main line and all the way to the end of the garage so the quote was $1500. But on the day of installation there is no digging or anything They just connected to the existing pipeline inside my garage If you have not done that additional work why was the quote so high? When called the company and asked for it they said it is for the job and not for the labour..

(even though the quote was based on labour for digging) I understand that you are trying to make money but this is not fair. You have to charge based on the labor involved and adjust the price accordingly if the task is completed with less labor work.

If you are going through them ask them the exact work they are going to do and then cross check wether it is worth spending the amount or not. We have worked with C&K plumbing twice now and both times were short notice.

Claude came out and went above and beyond to address our issue. He is personable, knowledgeable, and educates through the process.

It's always stressful when a house issue arises and he makes the process stress free. We will never not use him and will always refer him to our friends who are in need of the services he provides.

This is by far the most amazing service company I have ever encountered. We installed a new manufactured home and they came out to hook up the water and sewer.

They not only came in a timely fashion but provided beyond stellar customer service. Unfortunately the manufacturer of the home did not install things properly and we had 2 leaks in a single day.

C and K guys came out and fixed everything within 1.5 hours of calling... not once but twice! Their guys were not only professional and knowledgeable but just overall really great people.

I would more than recommend them for any plumbing needs! since when do you need to pay for work that was not accomplished?! 2 guys came over to replace a toilet, which they did, and to replace a flash assist unit in another toilet. they could not do it because the new unit didn't fit.

I called C&K at 1pm and Matthew and Colton were at our house at 3pm the same day.

They had to rotor rooter with a snake about 75 feet into the drain line to unclog. In addition, they ran a video scope gizmo down the water line to see the clogged portion! They did all this in about 1 hour at a very reasonable charge.

I've never used their services, but I saw something yesterday that made me decide if I ever did need plumbing services, I would totally call them. Coming home yesterday from work, I witnessed a woman break down on a tiny two lane road.

Cars were starting to line up behind her as she'd broken down on a small bridge with no room to pull off. She got out of her car frustrated and scared.

Enter a truck with C & K Plumbing written on the back of the truck. He was right in front of me.

Claude is prompt, fair priced, and knowledgeable. He is now my go to for any plumbing and has since helped me with my tub leaking downstairs, installing new toilets, installing a new shower valve, and a stuck washer hookup.

He takes time to explain everything and helps me prioritize repairs. His wife is also wonderful! So easy to schedule and I can barely even get one ring through on the phone before she answers :) Claude and Nanci are the dynamic duo! Technician wore appropriate PPP and was very nice. Water heater started to leak Sunday at 5 pm and there is nothing worst then trying to call a 24hr plumbing service and getting a recording saying their office is close.

I was able to get a hold of a company who sent out a AC tech (he must have been on call) to tell me that my water heater was leaking (was charge $170 to show up), who then called in their plumber who came over and told me yup, water heater need to be replace and gave me an estimate of $2400 to replace a water heater. (I shouldn't be to hard on this company, the AC guy was able to determine where the leak was and did tighten something to stop the leak..

so the $170 was worth it but the $2400 quote for the water heater was highway robbery!!) I don't know much about plumbing but I do know that a water heater start around $299 add labor say $1000 (I'm being generous) and it can't be more then $1200. So I told the guy I will have to call around to get another quote.

Well to my surprise I was right a few place started their bid right around $1200. Then I got in touch with Claude (and I am so glad I did) he showed up to my house 20 min later.

this was at 6:45 am. He took some measurement and explained what he was going to do and gave me a quote for $990 for a brand new water heater that is with parts and labor.

That was music to my ears, I asked him when he can do it, he said he can put me on the schedule for around noon time and was done by 2 pm. I have to say best customer service and pricing ever.

No upcharge, just gave me a quote and did the job in a timely manner. Thank you Claude, will definitely recommend C & K Plumbing to my friends and family.
