We unfortunately called Applewood Plumbing and heating they came out Sunday, they wouldn't give us a quote over the phone because they needed to see the old heater.

When the technician came he quoted us $6300, fortunately we just replaced our water heater in AZ (I know lucky us). for much less so I knew we had to look around.

I was given two recommendations on PlumbingMD so I called them, the owner asked for 3 pictures gave us a quote over the phone 3X's less than the above company at $2150. They came the next day earlier than scheduled with a txt, finished in a timely manner and just overall wonderful people.

In a world full of big box stores such as Applewood I recommend highly using this company. We called Plumbing MD on August 28 to replace our water heater after a business nearer our house could not be scheduled for 3 weeks.

Chris and Melissa were scheduled to visit the east coast starting the day after Labor Day. However, they agreed to give up their holiday and do our project on the Labor Day holiday before they left.

They arrived on time, were finished quickly and within a few hours we had a new water heater installed on budget and the area was cleaned up. It's always nice to know one's peeps are good ones, and I think there're none better than these two.

Plus, they are just nice and decent folk. I have put them on my "go to" list for future reference.

The reviews on this page are sounding like an echo chamber with all the kudos, but they are, in fact, true. So you know how sometimes you come across a hidden gem and you want to tell everyone in the world abou it, yet at the same time keep it all to yourself? LOL.

That's how I feel about Chris and Melissa and Plumbing MD. I first had them out when I first moved to Colorado last year.

They fixed a half dozen items that showed up on my home inspection report and did so professionally, quickly, and at a fair price. Melissa was extremely communicative and Chris explained in great detail all the work he did, what was needed...and what was NOT needed.

They also gave tons of love and attention to my dog! You can't go wrong with fellow dog lovers, right? Fast forward to yesterday where I had them out once again, this time to replace a few aging toilets. Once again, Melissa was quick to respond and we were able to schedule something in a relatively short timeline.

Even though we had only met once, having them come back to my home was like having freinds over that I hadn't seen in a while. These guys truly are the epitome of a "mom and pop" outfit, with the big bonus of doing the highest quality of work.

Chris is a true tradesman, knows his stuff, and when the job is done, I can rest easy knowing it was done right! I'm a Realtor by tade and I will absolutely have Plumbing MD as my go-to referral for my future clients. So as much as I'd like to keep Chris and Melissa as my little secret, I think the Front Range should know what an amazing company this is.

He chatted with them in them market, they took the time to find out our situation gave us their number and told us to call if we would like them to come out. We actually had some quotes come out that were insane.

(And rude) These two came out we professional, kind, fast in their assessment and got back to us with a great quote. They are VERY busy so you will have to wait for them.

It is worth the wait. They arrived, they work so well together you forget they are married.

This company is by far the absolute best plumbers you can hire. Other companys will provide you a rediculous price and then try to charge you a service fee when you call them out on their high pricing, but not Pumbing MD.

I had a big plumbing company out to my house (one that advertises a lot on TV) after I started getting black specs in my bath tub and shower that were impossible to clean. The big company tried to convince me I needed a $10k water filtration system and $1.5k PRV because it was an issue with the city water.

That didn't sound right to me so I reached out to Plumbing MD and they found the problem in my water heater supply lines and fixed the issue for a few hundred dollars. They also replaced my PRV for a lot less than what I was quoted by the other company.
