"What to do on a weekend?" Sunday morning after reading so many positive YELP reviews, I sent photos and text to Made In Chicago Plumbing. Jose responded quickly, quoted a reasonable price and arrived within an hour.

He fixed the faucet and replaced a flapper on a toilet for me. Jose explained each step he was doing, why certain parts were needed and other parts were not.

He showed me the basement shut off valve. No overselling, he gave me the receipts for his two purchases.

It's kind of embarrassing to say that I've had to call Jose out twice in the last 3 months for my tenant to rod out the kitchen sink and then to replace a bathroom faucet. The first time was on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, he picked up and came out within a couple hours.

2nd time was a Saturday evening, he picked up and came Sunday morning. Fast forward to Polar Vortex 2019.

Two separate friends had their pipes burst yesterday. I referred them to Jose.

They called and he picked up the phone and fixed their pipes. So yea, the guy picks up the phone, does the job quickly.

He texts to let you know when he is on his way, sends an email receipt afterwards. I'm worried about him blowing up on Yelp - cause then he won't be able to help me when I call! (That happened to another plumber I like!) Don't believe 24/7 hours please, and here is a less than 5 star review.

Oh and no 'senior discount ' either. My ejector pump needed replacing.

Called 2/9 due to the 5 stars and 24/7 hours. Got an appt for 2/10, had that cancelled and pushed to 2/11.

Mentioned in text I was 70 and wet vaccuming seepage unrelated to pump, slowly. When I paid the bill and went downstairs, mud was EVERYWHERE.

No tarp on now muddy carpeted stairs. I've never had a workman leave a job in such filth.

I PRAY he correctly replaced pump. Donezo.

Invoice reads "Chicago Plumbing & Sewer". I had a water heater installed and these guys were great! Fast response time & they arrived on time.

The existing copper pipes did not quite a fit for the new heater so Jose added additional copper to correct the problem. I would call these guys again for any additional plumbing fixes.

It's almost a shame to write another five star review for these guys. After all, clearly they are AWESOME and (for whatever reason) haven't blown up yet on Yelp.

Anyway, my experience was exactly like everyone else's that you can read below. Here's what happened.

My tenant called me, said that the toilet had broken. I didn't even have to show up.

In ten seconds, I had called Made in Chicago. He offered to be there within 90 minutes.

It was even too fast for me! I asked if he could push to 8:30 the following morning. He showed up ten minutes early the next day, called my tenant, and made the fix.

Easy. I never even showed up.

And I paid online. The tenant was delighted, the price was right.

A plumbing fix could literally not have been any easier. If there were a thousand stars, I'd give em all to Made in Chicago Plumbing.

I called Made In Chicago Plumbing to help with an issue regarding my garbage disposal. I thought it might be a quick fix, but I didn't know what was wrong.

Rather than making a $200 service call, Made in Chicago Plumbing walked me through the process of resetting my garbage disposal free of charge. They were detailed and personable.

I greatly appreciate them. There's nothing worse than experiencing a hot water heater malfunction in the middle of a Chicago winter.

Especially when your wife just worked out (needing a shower) and your kids haven't had their baths. Enter Jose.

As people know it is so hard to find good trades people, his one you can always count on. We had some leaking around the base of the toilet, and Jose and his team were able to come out quicker than any other plumbers.

We thought it was going to be a fairly quick and simple job of replacing the gasket, but it turned out to be much more complicated due to an original poor installation of the toilet by previous owners years ago. Jose had to order special parts and come back multiple days, but he did an excellent job and provided exceptional customer service.

He charged a very low rate for the amount of time he had to spend fixing the issue, and he even had someone come out and fix our drywall for free after some water accidentally leaked during the repair process. We would use them again (though hopefully we don't need to), and I highly recommend them to anyone with plumbing problems.

We had a major issue with water pressure and it turned out that the main water service pipe needed to be replaced, from the house to the Buffalo Box in the city pavement. Jose was able to have the work completed with the help of his partners at Almighty Rooter in a timely matter.

They completed the work quickly despite the requirements of obtaining a Chicago city permit and a city inspector approval, and despite the timing of the holiday season. The job was completed wonderfully, we have awesome water pressure now, and all of the faucets and fixtures in our house now work perfectly! Thank you Jose!! Outstanding!
