The sinks in two bathrooms that sit in a hallway and a bedroom are back-to-back and both were totally clogged. After Rocket plumber Jeff tried (unsuccessfully) to power through and clean them out he realized we would have to open the wall to access the pipes.
He came back the next week and did a great job accessing the pipes, cleaning out the solidified blockage, rodded, adding a sanitary T, P-trap and new clean out to a vent above the drain pipe! Well done, great work, excellent communication as I live out of town and had to manage this remotely and at a fair price which was lower than the max estimate. High marks to Rocket Plumbing and Jeff! I hired rocket for emergency gas leak repair was charged far more than quote and then had to hire another company for actual repair Peoples gas questioned who tested my leak and then left in condition it is in maybe they know plumbing but for gas leak I would find another company Excellent service.

Very honest, courteous and fairly priced. Although I did not use Rocket plumbing when my sump recently burned up I did contact them during off hours and the dispatcher scheduled a plumber.
It was not an emergency at the time, no water issues just the pump. However the plumber did contact me and kept me informed as he was busy with other emergencies.
He kept me posted and when we talked we determined it was not an emergency which was great. That saved me an unnecessary after hours fee.

Luis and Joel showed up exactly on time and called me shortly thereafter with multiple detailed options. In the process, they found a number of other items in bathroom and basement that were done incorrectly or not to code by my previous contractors, some which posed a safety concern.
They handled all of them on the same day and even a few other items we didn't discuss and at a great price. Huge credit to Luis especially for excellent communication and to them both for doing a thorough job! Rocket has been my go to plumbing solution for years and this is why! Louis was awesome! We had a problem with the spout in our tub backing up into the wall with water going down into our dining room.
There was also a small leak in the valve leading to our toilet. Rocket answered my call and dispatched Louis the same afternoon.
He quickly diagnosed the problems and gave us a quote. This is great because prior plumbers have charged by the hour which can get very expensive.
Louis was professional and explained everything. When replacing the tub spout, he delicately removed the surrounding tile.
So you cannot even tell. The toilet valve was also replaced to our satisfaction.
Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of the work and attention to detail. So we would highly recommend Rocket Plumbing.
After having a recent bad experience with the plumbing service I normally use, I decided to take my business elsewhere and found Rocket Plumbing. Water suddenly stopped coming out of my bathroom faucet and it seemed like the water shutoff valves needed to be replaced.
I reached out to Rocket Plumbing and they were able to get someone out early the next morning. Eric B.
was the plumber assigned to my job. He called me about 30 minutes before heading over to my home, talked through the plumbing issues I was having, and gave a preliminary assessment of what the problem and solution could be.
Eric arrived on time, was courteous, and made sure to wear shoe coverings in my home. We talked through things again and he gave me a proposed plan for dealing with the issue, as well as a price estimate, and discussed potential next steps if that did not resolve the issue.
He ultimately ended up replacing the shutoff valves, lines, and faucet. He worked efficiently and was very transparent with what work needed to be done.
When he finished the work, he meticulously cleaned up the floor and tried to leave things as spotless as possible (which is something my former plumbing service apparently doesn't care about doing). He also gave me tips on how to prevent the issue from reoccurring in the future and avoid having plumbing issues.

This morning I could smell sewer gas in my bathroom and knew it was time to have the wax seal replaced. I called Rocket and they had appointments open the same morning.
Jeff and Joel came out, did the job, and just left now after cleaning the area around the toilet. They and dispatcher Eric were friendly, cordial, and very customer oriented.
There was a $49 discount on their website, so I mentioned that and the discount was reflected on the invoice. I didn't call around for price comparisons, but as far as I'm concerned you can't put a price on customer service, so it was a win for all of us.
This weekend I learned that plumbers are the ones you call to fix a gas leak! *Insert "The More You Know" graphic* Yes, we got a call from the renter of my old condo that the gas company had been by to investigate a leak in the building and (OF COURSE BECAUSE 2020 IS A MONSTER) out of almost 100 units, ours was the one that had the leak. The gas company turned off the gas and said, "C-ya!" and told us to find someone to fix it.
I didn't even know who to call for such a repair but a quick internet search told me that many plumbers do it. So I immediately went to Yelp and started searching.
A few "request a quote" searches later and the speedy Rocket Plumbers reached out to me to say they could send someone by the next day (aka, today) to fix it. We were lucky (lol) that the pipe with the leak was already IDed by the gas company and that was easily accessible in the basement so they just had to come and check everything out and make the repair which took just a couple of hours.
Admittedly it wasn't a super cheap job but crucial for safety so it had to be done. The communication with the company was great and everyone was so friendly and pleasant.
From the first communication via request a quote to the fella who called me this morning to set up the appointment, to the technician calling me to tell me it was all finished, the conversations were friendly and easy going. It's always stressful when something goes wrong and you're a few states away but I'm grateful that we could find a reliable company to work with.

Nick and Mike were on time, professional and know what they are doing. 5 star experience The amount of money the company charges for a clogged drain is inappropriate and honestly ridiculous.
389 dollars for a clogged floor drain that took 30 minutes. After asking for a discount I got it down to 319 which come to find out there are coupon discounts on their website for 79-so not even the full coupon discount.
Then add on the 3% charge they add on for credit card use. This company also installed my tankless water heater and put it so close to the wall, we were unable to get the serial number off the machine without taking it completely off the wall when I had a leak.
If I was not in a time crunch, I would have done my research and got more quotes. There should be no reason you charge near 400 dollars for a 30 minute snaked drain.
I would avoid the company. Update: I had originally given a lower star.
But the owner did get in touch with me and adjust the price to a price that was much more reasonable. He was very nice and you can tell he cares.

Ryan and Zee came out and were super professional and polite. Please use rocket! I contacted many companies to get an estimate for a sump pump and a battery backup, and Rocket Plumbing is one of the only ones that offered a free in person estimate, which I really appreciated.
During installation, the tech, Luis, found that our old iron plumbing stack was in danger of clogging, and offered to either clean it as best as he could or replace part of it with PVC for a long-term fix; we went with the second option even though it cost more, and we're very happy with the quality of the work done. I had toilet work done in late August.
All went perfectly. During the payment, I was charged sigqnificantly more than what I was quoted - over $1200! I called the company back multiple times to get an itemized receipt to have anyone make sense of it.
Finally spoke with a manager who agreed that the price I paid did not make sense. I haven't heard back from them.

J&J Logan Square Rocket plumbing installed my new water supply line into my 3 flat as well as decommissioned gas lines and trimmed out the 3rd floor claw foot tub. The work for the water supply line was arduous and painstaking, but after weeks of coordinating with the City of Chicago, Rocket performed the installation perfectly.
Mike in particular was exceptional at managing the work site, completing the work, and making sure everything was clean throughout. Tom's work on the inside with the gas line and claw foot tub looks exceptional and was very efficient.

I was hesitant at first because of the distance between my home in the Western suburbs and where they're located in the city, however, they made it work! I had a sewer line backup last night where dirty water was coming up my basement toilet and running over the brim. In about an hour or so, he was able to not only rod out space for water to flow to the sewer, but he was able to run a tool down the line to clear the four or five root balls out of the line. He ran a camera to confirm what was down there before removing them and he ran a camera after.
The bill was right, but I've also always understood the perspective of quality and value over quantity, as previous plumbers just rodded the pipe, which is simply a band-aid to cover a bigger issue, whereas Rocket Plumbing provided the quality and value. Along with what I paid, there is a two year warranty to warrant their work in case I need them to come out to resolve the same matter.

I originally found out about this Company from a neighbor who installed a new water heater. Even though they were servicing her building, they came over and gave me their thoughts on an item I was having some issues with.
No charge and took the time to explain the issue and help me out. Also used Rocket for some toilet issues and they were not only super fast to install new hardware, but stuck around to make sure it worked properly and my concerns were addressed.
Their phone rep is very helpful and tries best to identify the issue and give prices, but of course you need onsite inspection by their techs to identify the issue and quote official prices. Put it this way, if I run into a plumbing issue down the road? This is who I'm calling.

Our plumbing issue was in the bathroom. There was a leak behind the shower/tub wall.
Water was leaking from our unit into two units below us. Horrifying, yes.
We did not know why, so we had Rocket Plumbing to come in to diagnose the problem. Two plumbers came in, very professional, very nice guys, no problems there.
The problem was they were not thorough, gave us the wrong diagnose, gave us an estimate, and left within less than 10 minutes. I get that they are professionals and would be able to tell what the issue is in less than 5.
After spraying the wall with the shower head, they concluded water is leaking behind the wall because we have cracked wall tiles. I told them that it might not only be the issue and ask if they are sure that they do not need to do further test.
They declined and said no, that they are 99% sure that was the problem. I was expecting them to begin the repair, but they just gave me an estimate and left, leaving me with unusable shower.
I was totally skeptical that the problem was the cracked tile so I decided to run my own test. I turned on the shower head and spray the tub and avoided the cracked tiles.
Neighbors notified me they are seeing water coming down their unit. It became obvious to me that these plumbers did not even do this simple test to begin with and jump to their own conclusion.
From this point on, my experience with Rocket Plumbing turned around completely. I contacted Andres, the first person who I scheduled the appointment with, and he responded immediately and reached out to the field manager regarded our problem with the plumbers.
I asked if they could dispatch someone else as soon as possible to address our issue. I received a call the next day from the field manager saying that a new plumber will be coming to give us a proper diagnose and that they were sorry.
A new plumber came out, went through all the steps to test the leakage, found where the leak was coming from, confirmed with our neighbor of the leak, and then gave us an estimate. He was able to fix the leak right after on the same day.

Overall, although there was a little hiccup in the beginning, they were very professional and responded quickly. Rating: 3.5 to 4 Stars! Rocket Plumbing saves me again!! Had a horrible pipe backup and I'm in a ground level condo so just imagine the mess and smell.
Somehow they fit me in their schedule on a Friday late afternoon. Jimmy and Eddie show up diagnosed diagnose the problem in about 10 minutes and have me cleaned and cleared out in about 30.
The were polite, clean, professional and hysterical. This company is amazing!!! I needed a hot water heater replaced.
After calling & leaving messages at several plumbing companies & getting excuses of why they could not do the job in a timely manner, Rocket Plumbing called back in 20 minutes. I was given a quote on the phone & by email.
The appointment was made for 9am the next day. Danny & Eric arrived on time, had the new unit & piping with them, put down a tarp to prevent floor damage and had it done in 2.5 hours.
They are very friendly, knowledgeable, professional & an asset to the company. I will use them again when needed & highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

Quote was estimated but After calling 3 times leaving my email for an estimate of replacing a pipe leaking the Company plumber did not even call back to tell he is busy or do not want to send me a quote for my condominium. There is also another point: the water heater has a leak in the pipe conduit with gas and although there are pipes connected to the water heater I was asked to call another company t Who does HVAC.
Really do I have to chase you to give business? I am unsure how communications are being handled. Every time I have been promised to receive a call back and after a month I still do not have a quote I guess you are not respectful to customers and not willing to give you business referral.
This is really not good standard of work ethics. I am not happy to chase a quote My condominium association has used Rocket Plumbing in the past with mediocre results.
Not particularly responsive, but they got the job done in the end. The last time out they told me I probably needed to replace a major pipe between two units in our building.
They pulled the toilet out (so it couldn't be used) then didn't follow up as they promised to. After waiting for 2 weeks (it was a guest bathroom), I called another plumber who fixed the problem in less than an hour.
It was a straight forward repair. Beware, some folks at Rocket may be ok, but it seems like some of their workers are not above making up work to overcharge their customers.
I contacted Rocket before leaving this review. After speaking with an employee and a dispatcher, the owner did not contact me before close of business that day (I was told he was on a job).
Rocket Plumbing has high quality plumbers and professional service. I have been working with Ryan and Z the past several months.
Most importantly, they are skilled and know how to solve problems. They are also honest about what the issue is and whether or not a significant repair is needed.
I also appreciate their promptness and level of service. Highly recommend! We used Jake and Tyler, and they were great.
Showed up when they said they would, charged a fair price, and did what they said they would. Highly recommended.
Jake is really good! He explained well on how the leak happened and why it happened. After he fixed the problem with my shower valve, he also gave me advices on future precautions that I can take to identify leaking issue in the early stage.
I will recommend Rocket Plumbing. I needed the valve on my water line under the kitchen sink replaced because it was a saddle valve that is no longer code and was also corroded; I couldn't shut the water off and needed a new fridge installed.
Messaged Rocket through Yelp and they got back to me within the hour. They gave me a quote online after I described the job and sent them pics, no need to send anyone out.
The quote might have been a bit high at $409, but it was extremely easy and convenient and they had a $49 off coupon. The other six companies I contacted said they flat out couldn't/wouldn't do the job or it would take two weeks before someone could come by for a quote which would cost a dispatch fee.
Dan came by and did a great job replacing the valve. It's been a few weeks and no leaks and the fridge was successfully installed.
Rocket Plumbing is great and I would definitely use again. Amazing job! Our tech Micheal was on time, courteous and did an excellent job explaining the process of hydro-jet drain cleaning.

We've used Rocket Plumbing for a number of issues in our condo and have always had incredible experiences. Today we woke up to no water running in our house.
I called Rocket Plumbing and they were able to squeeze us in last minute on Christmas Eve. Ryan and Zee came out and did a thorough check of the plumbing and were able to fix it and get hot water back and running.
Anytime we've had somebody come out they are detailed, thorough and explain the problem very clearly. Rocket Plumbing is the best!! In early January 2017, Nick quickly and expertly installed a new water heater in my condo after coming out on NYE for a quote.
And I never had a problem with the unit at all! In October 2018, my upstairs neighbor's water heater blew and caused a lot of damage to my unit, which required the construction company to remove my water heater and HVAC so that the drywall behind could be replaced; both were reinstalled without incident. Two months later (on NYE, of course), I noticed some water on the floor next to my water heater and my heart SANK.
The plumber that did the uninstall/reinstall two month earlier came out and said that he couldn't find the leak so the only solution is a brand new water heater. Then Nick arrived and within 90 seconds found that the water line to the humidifier was not tightened all of the way - a quick turn of the bolt and NO MORE LEAK! I am so thrilled with Nick and Rocket! The office had quick responses to my inquiries and knowledgeable, super nice, professional work from Nick.

I contacted Rocket Plumbing to deal with a clogged sink that occurred recently in our home. They sent out a really amazing crew who were professional and thorough in clearing the drain.
The last plumber we used to clear the sink didn't really get the drain as clear as they could have and took off as soon as things appeared to work, but these guys took their time to make sure everything was good and proper and even ended up routing the drain twice once they noticed that the clog wasn't completely cleared up. They were incredibly careful with all of the cabinets and worked super smoothly! I'll be using this company in the future for all of our plumbing services.
I called Brian at 8pm on New year's day and he walked me through shutting off our building's water when the pipes burst. It was the coldest new year's day in forever and plumbers were essentially not taking calls.
The next day he arrived by 10am and stayed until all the pipes were fixed. It's been a week and no problems.
I'm not promising he will 100% be available at any hour of day. But he took my call at a high demand time when he didn't know if our fix would be a thaw, 1 little pipe to replace or tons (it was tons).
He's followed up inquiring if everything is ok and really really knew what he was doing. The epitome of professional.

From there, they gave us a good bid on additional work. Communication was prompt and informative before acceptance and during the work.
I felt like possible issues and approaches were all explained and covered well. No "gotcha" type charges during or after the work, as well.
Had a great experience with Dan. Quickly able to schedule appointment, communicated when nearby (within appointment window), free estimate, clear explanation of recommendations and pricing, quickly completed the repair work, respectful.
He also provided a few handyman type recommendations unrelated to my repair. Would definitely use them again.
While their employees do wear N95 masks, they not wear gloves or shoe coverings as stated at the top of this page or as I was told on the phone when I asked. The plumber who came out to fix my sink pulled his mask down to talk to me.
I promptly told him to put it back on. I am pleased with the work that they did and they were in and out within an hour, they did arrive 1/2 an hour past the 2-hour window because one of the guys needed to stop for lunch.
