Came to the house within the half hour and promptly replaced the broken valve. This was done at 5:00PM at night and after two days of heavy flooding and work for the plumber.

We really wanted a shower in our guest bath and now we have one. Our maintenance person for two years told us it was not possible and that it could cost hundreds and maybe over thousand dollars if the pipes broke.

Dentzer warned us the pipe could break but made it seem as though it was not a big deal if it did. He had a great can do attitude and got the job done within budget too! Also arrived early! Thank you!!!! Found a simple solution for a complicated plumbing problem we had.

Came back to fix it later again at no cost. Very honest and efficient! Used Dentzer plumbing multiple times at the recommendation of my property management company, and thought I was getting decent work.

Turns out I wasn't. I always felt they were expensive, but I didn't realize just how absurd their pricing was.

They were also not only misleading/deceptive on price for a later (very simple) job of just replacing a couple of hoses, but also did absolutely nothing to clean up the area where they worked. They're unwilling to bend on the absurd price, and also claim to have not received my check (which I suppose I'll believe because it doesn't appear to be cashed) - so now I have to cancel a check and send another...

because they don't have a way to pay online. They even threatened collections even though I had documentation that I sent payment a SECOND time, and had to cancel the first payment.

Even worse, I confirmed that some of the work they'd done was of poor quality. In particular, they mounted / clipped some copper pipes up with a different metal - a huge plumbing no-no which I didn't know at the time, but which a plumber alerted me to.

Not being one to believe any contractor who badmouths the previous one (because they ALL do it), I did some research and confirmed that in fact this was a dangerous and poor practice because it would cause eventual corrosion. Google "Galvanic Corrosion" and see for yourself.

A plumber who can't follow basic best practices is not deserving of my business. Stay far away from these folks.

My neighbor recommended them and I am glad I called. He came within a couple of hours of my call and had my sink unclogged in less than half an hour, his fee was very reasonable.

Another business that I had come out before him just took a look and told me it would be almost $600 because they would have to cut out pipes. He got right to work and there was no need to cut any pipes.

The clogged drain was taken care of in a timely fashion and the price was right. We had a leak in our kitchen.

He said it would be a day before he could come out because he was backed up. But he suggested we turn off the water line to the dishwasher.

Though I couldn't pinpoint the leak, his suggestion stopped it so we were able to dry the floor. The next day, Joe came on time, confirmed a damaged water hose was leaking, said the installers had mistakenly kinked the line and quickly replaced it with a new hose he got from his truck.

Then he went with me to check our downstairs neighbors' unit to make sure water wasn't leaking there. This is a family business that I will gladly continue to support.

We have used Dentzer Plumbers for several projects in our house - our hot water heater stopped working right after we got back from the hospital with a newborn, we had a leak in a wall and we replaced our kitchen faucet. All three times, the Dentzer family came through like knights in shining armor! The hot water heater was fixed in very short order, the leak also and the kitchen faucet - that takes the cake.

The faucet came from a hoity-toity faucet place downtown, but once the old faucet was removed and installation of the new faucet began Joe discovered that there was a key component of the faucet missing from the package. It was early Friday afternoon before a Sunday holiday (Mother's Day, I think).

He went the next project and I went dashing down to the faucet place and played mix and match with their service dept to make sure I had all the parts. Then Joe came back AFTER 5PM to finish the job so that we would have a functioning sink for the holiday.

Highly recommend I needed my toilet fixed. I had someone come out to look at it and they provided me with an exorbitant quote.

I called J&B, and they were willing to give me an estimate over the phone. The estimate was about 30% of what the other guy charged me, so I hired him.

He came by in ten minutes and my toilet was fixed within a half hour. I'll call him next time I need something fixed! He even looked at my slow drain while waiting for the water to drain, free of charge.

Jeff & his team were fantastic to work with! Excellent communication throughout the entire process of providing a quote to installing a brand new hot water tank in our condo building. In addition they were very fairly priced compared to the other companies I called for quotes.

They were extremely professional, much better price than any other quote, and reliable. We planned for 9am and they even called to see if they could come a bit earlier.

Not only did they fix the shut off valves in both the bathroom and the kitchen but they had to go out and buy parts for the kitchen (which Jeff knew immediately once he looked under the sink) and were back and fixed both problems in 2 hours! Another thing I really appreciated about them is that they noticed that our dishwasher drain was half on and causing a leak under the sink so they also fixed that as well. They were in and out of my house very quickly even though the installation was a lot more challenging than I had made it appear.

My water heater was over 10 years old, and they've changed in size and shape since mine was made, but Jeff and his guy were able to remove all the plumbing from the furnace and water heater and replace it so that everything worked perfectly. On top of that - he called me the next morning to ensure my shower was hot and that everything was working perfectly!
