I was instructed to call the office in the AM and set up the time. Next day I call the office, LVM and receive a prompt CB.

The technician, Ron, showed up early (called first) and got to work. He even had a teaching moment about using Drain-O, "don't".

We converted our 2 water heaters into a tankless water heater. We got 2 estimates and went with the slightly lower one.

Arco came and did the work in less than a full day's shift. A few days later we noticed a lot of condensation in our 1 basement wall and called them stating there's something going on..

it also happened to be an extremely cold December night. They came out the next day to check out what was going on.

Found out the problem was something completely unrelated with our furnace causing the problem. Long story short, they showed us the problem, did a quick temporary fix and told us who to contact for a long term solution.

They honestly could have told us, "not our problem," because it was something the previous owner messed up that we hadn't noticed yet since buying 2 years ago. Such excellent service and decent folk.

I am a first time homebuyer and became distressed when I stopped at the house the Monday before moving in to find no hot water.

they then sent a guy at the end of the day to inspect/diagnose the problem the same day i first talked to them on the phone. They then scheduled for Monday 8am, which was impressive as I did stress I was moving in that day and would love to have hot water by Wednesday.

The problem was fixed (a valve replaced and new piping out in) within an hour of his arrival and I'm all set up with nice, hot water! Thank you so much for your help! I had a slow leak in my laundry room from an unknown source. I hired Arco Plumbing because they had good reviews and promised to respond promptly to inquiries.

They lived up to their reputation. I am difficult to get ahold of but Arco and I got everything set up through voice mails back and forth throughout the project.

Bart and Tom came out and identified the problem, explained the solution, and got right to work. They quickly replaced bad valves, improved the washer connections, and, at my request, installed a new deep sink faucet.

They came today to replace my dying sump pump after my emergency call...looking to avoid a flood!!! Very helpful and informative.......really appreciated their working me in today as I know they are very busy.

Would highly recommend...very competitive pricing, knowledgeable and very responsive! We used Arco when we had an issue in our upstairs shower that was leaking into the ceiling downstairs. Jason came out and he was very professional and upfront with what needed to be done.

In addition to the shower, Jason was able to fix a leaky shower head in the basement as well as a leaky outdoor faucet. I will be using Arco again if necessary and I would highly recommend them for their honesty and affordability.

I called arco plumbing because they were local and had positive reviews. They came out the next day after calling for a quote to fix a drain clog issue, and took care of the issue right away.

Can't recommend these folks highly enough. They have worked on a variety of projects for us, big stuff and small, and in every case they have been responsive, courteous, knowledgeable, professional and a joy to deal with.

We have used Arco Plumbing for the past year to replace a kitchen faucet, a toilet including replacing its water inlet valve, a faucet in the powder room, 2 garden faucets, and a sump pump with a new cover for the well. In all cases scheduling each service was easy, the scheduler let us know the date and approximate window of time, the service would take place.

The service people called 15 minutes before their arrival within the scheduled timeframe, performed the work well, were very neat and clean performing the work. We had to call them back a second time where we discovered a slow leak with the powder room faucet.

The original serviceman returned late that day of our call and promptly resolved the issue. We feel they charge fairly for their services.

He recommended we use the power wash rodding tool they use since it would be the strongest thing to break up whatever issues we had. Before Jose entered the house he pulled out some boot covers which I appreciated.

I had mentioned to mike to please have the plumbers wear boot covers and he was listening. Thanks Mike!! Jose calls Danny who runs the pressure washer rodding machine and they get to work.

Both were very knowledgeable and professional. At the end of the pressure washer rodding we were able to look with the camera down the pipes to see the results.

That pressure washer tool was incredibly helpful. Instantly you can see water and grease debris clearing away from the pipes.

I will definitely be doing business in the future with Mike, Jose and Danny. They did a great job and are look forward to doing business in the future with them.

Hydrojet!!!! The team from Midwest Hydro Jetting showed up to my house fast to help clear the line to my basement. They were able to diagnose the issue quickly, and literally saved my basement from flooding.

After the line was clear the team took the time to clean up standing water in my basement. The pricing was fair and the extra time the team took to show me what was happening and how to prevent it in the future was outstanding.

It took me years to find a company I can trust in my home and I'll never call another. Technicians promptly fixed the issue and explained everything clearly.

Service was a bit more expensive than I expected, but they came next day. Midwest were able to fix a clog that two other plumbers had failed to fully address.

They used an air gun tool that others didn't seem offer - a cost-effective fix. I will absolutely call them back if I have issues in the future.

When I asked for referrals to another plumber when he would not provide any additional quotes, he would not supply any additional plumber company contacts.

Long story short, my kitchen sink clogged and started leaking on Thanksgiving. After another plumber failed to get the sink unclogged and whose next step was intense (read: expensive), I decided to get another plumber out to see if they could resolve the clog.

Enter Midwest Hydro Jetting, who sent two wonderful guys out that not only unclogged my sink in a matter of minutes (and this was 4 months ago and we're still going strong), they also corrected the hookup to my dishwasher to make it run better, and they stuck around to make sure the everything was working properly. Everyone was super friendly and professional, from start to finish.

Contacted Midwest Hydro Jetting for advice, after hiring another company whose hydro jetting machine was underpowered, and unable to clear a blockage in my sewer line.This company recommended that I spend several thousand dollars to install a clean out, which I realised may or may not solve the problem, given that the location of the blockage was towards the back of the building. Midwest recommended trying to rod out the line first, before resorting to having them hydro jet, or install a clean out I appreciated all the advice, and how they were trying to save me unnecessary additional expense.

Clogged sink and I was so thrilled to see that Danny was still with Midwest. It was really blocked this time, and probably my fault as I had been trying to clear it with copious amounts of baking soda and vinegar.

I think that it hardened in the pipe. (Don't believe everything you see on YouTube.) Danny was persistent, trying with three different machines and a lot of perseverance until finally it gurgled and drained.

Most plumbers would have given up after it didn't immediately work. He is pleasant to talk with, offers suggestions on how to keep it clear and he gets the job done.

A real asset to his company! Had a kitchen sink clog well past the P-trap that I spent hours trying to fix myself with several trips to the hardware store. Danny and Alex came out the next day and fixed it without an issue.

Very friendly people and did a great job, cleaned up the water and junk that came out of the pipes so I didn't have to ruin my towels doing it myself. Also very reasonably priced compared to other quotes.

Thanks again! You'll have my business again next time (hopefully won't need a next time though!) Over the weekend, we experienced some grey water backing up in our utility room. We determined that the culprit was likely a backup originating from the kitchen sink/drain.

We called Midwest Hydro Jetting yesterday (Sunday) and was able to quickly get an appointment for this morning. They even called us shortly afterward to let us know that we could move up the appointment time if we wanted to, which we appreciated.

Mike and Danny showed up promptly at 9am and they quickly got to work determining the source of the issue. They confirmed that line from the kitchen sink need to be rodded (as well as a pipe down in the utility room).

Throughout the process, they were very communicative and explained every step. They answered every question we had and were done within 45 minutes.

Overall, I was very pleased with the quality of their work and would gladly hire them again if the need arises. What you NEED to know is in the last paragraph.

TL;DR: This is the best home services experience I've ever had in my life. We had a clogged toilet at 3 a.m.

after hosting a New Year's Eve party at our new home. Not the ideal way to kick off 2020.

Using a plunger, we were able to get the water to flush very slowly and figured we got rid of the clog. 2 days later, the toilet still wasn't working.

I requested a quote on Yelp, and Mike responded within minutes. Not only was the price competitive, but Mike offered to give me free advice on how to fix the problem myself in the event that it could save me time and money.

After trying all the conventional methods (plunger, auger) to no avail, I called Mike again to schedule service. He sent Danny who was at the house within 15 minutes.

Danny was incredibly polite and thorough moving from auger to removing the toilet. Having tried all standard methods, Danny let us know that he would have to bring in the power rodder and that Mike was on his way to help out.

Danny laid tarp along house to wheel in the huge machine, and Mike tried to think of other ways to solve this not-so-typical issue. They ended up going to our crawlspace and rodding the pipes through there.

I'll spare the details, but after a couple hours, the problem was fixed. Danny and Mike cleaned up the bathroom and closet with crawlspace access.

And the toilet flushes like new. I can't speak highly enough of this experience.

We couldn't have asked for better service and, quite frankly, didn't know home services of this caliber existed. I would never hesitate to recommend giving these gentlemen a call, even for free advice.

They'll be my go-to for any future plumbing issues (knock on wood), as well as if anyone ever asks if we know a good plumber. Mike giving us a discount for finding them through Yelp was a much-appreciated bonus.

Danny is a true asset to this company. He was at our place for a good 3 hours cleaning our sewer line.

He started with the most cost-efficient alternative of power rodding, which is also more conservative for older pipes. This was sufficient in order to be able to scope the line and inspect for possible issues.

He showed me on the spot that the line itself was unbroken, luckily! Because of this experience with MHJSS, I am in the process of hiring them for another project, and will use them to inspect my next residence, hopefully soon. Thank you Mike and Danny! Loved that they showed up on time, with face mask and shoe covers.

They were extremely clean when rotting. They fixed the backup I was having.

A few days later I contact them again because I was having a small leak where they rotted and they came back to fix it. Highly recommend them and will be using them again for any plumbing issues.

If you don't want to read the full review but want to know a short version: I HIGHLY recommend MHJSS, not just recommend but HIGHLY! ok, so here is the fine print: I've been smelling a sewage smell on my 1st floor, coming from my bathroom for the last few years. It comes and goes and when it goes it leaves long enough for me to forget about it.

Just recently it came back and is stronger than ever, so much so that I can smell it moving throughout my home. I have a family plumber I've been using since the '90s and I'm big on small business so as usual I called and got my home rodded.

Since purchasing my home in 2014 I get an annual rodding done since I can't watch what my company and children flush down the drain. Wanting to get a 2nd opinion I googled and came up with Mr.

Rooter, sent a message on their website, and set up a date and time for them to come to consult. I took off work since they told me it was a window from 12-3 pm.

To make a long story short, I work overnight and was asleep when they called me at 8 am the day of to tell me they would arrive at 12. Since I missed the called they canceled my appointment.

I was upset when I woke up at 11 am to get this voicemail. I took to google again, I had no patience nor desire to deal with this (Plus they told me since I lived on the south side I needed to pay $90 extra for the plumber to come south).

I can't remember who I spoke with but the guy was professional and gave me confidence that I'd found the right company. About an hour later, Danny called me to say he was on his way.

(Quick appointment, same day, no BS). He arrived on time with his partner Jose.

They asked the perfect questions and before I could explain everything, they knew what needed to be done and starting accessing. Danny took his time and explained EVERYTHING so that I could understand all about my plumbing issues.

He showed me things I didn't expect to see since my family plumber does frequent work at my home. I was able to get a Hydro Jetting and he immediately told me why we could smell the sewage in the house.

Being a novice to this entire industry, Danny and Jose made sure I knew what was going on, why, and how it can be fixed. They took their time, did things correctly, cleaned up behind themselves, and did so in a professional and safe manner.

They worked great as a team and even better as plumbers. I felt like I'd know them personally before today since they were so personable.

I wasn't rushed, I wasn't pitched a sales pitch, and I was comfortable with them in my home. Bigger name companies need to take notes from these guys.

The sewer line was clogged and soggy toilet paper started to back up into the basement. I searched on line for a plumber, and saw the great reviews for Midwest Hydro Jetting on Yelp.

I called, spoke with Mike, and explained the problem. I was hoping for a quick fix since I had family staying with me.

Of course he was familiar with this type of back up, and said it might be a day or so until someone could come out, but if the day's jobs were finished early, he would send someone. He also gave me a price range for the work that would probably be needed to be done, which was very reasonable.

Luckily the day's jobs ended early, and Dan arrived in the late afternoon. He knew exactly what to do, and power rodded the line until it ran clear.

The cost was very reasonable and I was given a 30 day warranty. Unfortunately, the line backed up again after a few weeks.

Dan came back out, with Jose, and power rodded again, with a different head on the line. What came out of that line on the end of the rod head was disgusting.

He called it a 'mush ball', or something like that. It was a mass of toilet paper, wipes, and a small piece of plastic or cellophane, and had been about 75ft down the line.

I previously instructed everyone to not dispose of wipes, flushable or otherwise, in the toilets. Of course it was group denial as to anyone doing so.

Anyway, the warranty was honored, the line has stayed clear, and I have removed every package of wipes from the house that I could find. Besides being knowledgeable, professional, and very efficient, Dan is very personable too.

Most people don't call a plumber until it's a dire necessity. They have the advantage, and some use that advantage to make more of the situation, and up the cost of repair.

This time it was a pleasure to finally find a company that did not do that. This old house will probably need a plumber again at sometime, and I would not hesitate to call them again if anything else 'comes up'.

I would highly recommend Midwest Hydro Jetting to anyone in need of great plumber services. I've used Midwest a few times and will use them more in the future.

For the second time in two years, our basement flooded because of old plumbing (on Memorial Day when no one was working). Last year, Danny came out to the house and, with careful and skilled analysis, was able to diagnose the issue.

Fast forward a year later... the same problem.

Mike and Danny fit us in right away, working late, and were able to resolve our issue. Danny took the time to explain the issue, provide recommendations for mitigation, and on routine maintenance.

On top of all that, Danny could resolve our issue without damaging our basement floor, which would have been an "easy way out." Danny could have also oversold us unnecessarily add-ons but was mindful of our emergency and treated us like neighbors. It saved us time and money and helped out when we needed it.

These are good people! I have no affiliation with Midwest Hydro, but as long as Danny and Mike are there, I'll be a Midwest Hydro fan and loyal customer. I had a toilet that would not stop running.

I requested a quote on Yelp to find a plumber for a line backing up with raw sewage into a walkway. Mike and another guy came and rodded out the main line and found a problem with a small sidewalk drain also.

They responded and came within a couple of hours. Were knowledgable, fixed the problem right away, were very fair and also so pleasant.

My sewage pump was continuously running and not shutting off so I called Sinks-N-Sumps at 10:30pm because I was worried it would fail overnight.

I spoke with Dominick who asked me a series of questions and had me send a picture of my pump. We spent about 30 minutes on the phone trying to debug the problem and applying simple solutions, but nothing worked.

We concluded that the pump was too old and needed to be replaced so I made an appointment for the next day (Christmas Eve). The next day Dominick and Alonzo worked tirelessly for five hours to replace my pump.

Several issues cropped up due to how the original builder installed the pump, but Dominick kept me informed throughout the process while educating me on how everything worked. What I appreciated most, is that there were several times when the pump was in a "good-enough" state and they could have left to enjoy their Christmas Eve but instead they made sure things were working perfectly before they left.

I can't thank them enough for the work they put into replacing my pump and I will definitely be using them again in the future for any plumbing problems. Great service! Dominick came out within about two hours on a Sunday night.

We had been experiencing a sewage smell which had been worsening over time. The smell was emanating from what I thought was a sump pump, so I searched on Google for a plumber who could assist with this issue and found Dominick.

Dominick was fantastic. When I first called, he answered the phone and asked me to send him some photos of the sump pump so that he could diagnose the issue.

Dominick immediately informed me that I had a sewage pump, not a sump pump. Also, someone who apparently was not a plumber had installed a backup sump pump, instead of a backup sewage pump, which was completely improper and was causing some of the problems.

Dominick quoted me a price to come over and replace the pump with a new sewage pump. He was very thorough and spent about 7 hours removing the old pumps and installing a new sewage pump.

He also replaced some PVC piping which had been incorrectly installed. He sealed the piping and the metal cover over the sump pit.

Dominick additionally replaced a valve in the piping which had been loudly slamming shut every time the sewage pump expelled wastewater; he installed a type of dampener which eliminated the slamming sound. I am very pleased with Dominick's work as the sewage smell is completely gone and the new sewage pump has been working well.

I would definitely hire him again, particularly for complex projects. I just had Dominic come out for the 3rd time.

This time it was for a precautionary measure. Dominic is the most honest plumber I know.

We ran several tests and told me that everything looked and seemed normal. I would recommend Dominic to anyone.

He is reliable, hard working, really makes sure you understand the problem and beyond fair with pricing. He arrived on time; did the job; had to cut out a piece of the windowsill in order for the faucet to fit.

I had a clogged toilet that I had tried augering and plungering but nothing worked. He provided a pretty clear cost estimate over the phone, but when he came over he used a diagnostic trick to identify a cheaper way to fix the problem, and in the end he charged less than the lower end of the range he had quoted.

Other plumbers I talked to took a look and didn't even bother using creative problem solving to find a solution, and they quoted triple what Dominick charged. I will never use any other plumber, ever, as long as I live in Chicago.

Dominic and his associate were very professional, organized, and wore masks. My wife and I have two newborns at home (twins) and our garbage disposal seals broke leaking water all over our kitchen this week.

He found a way to work us into the schedule the same day we called. He really saved us.

I particularly liked the fact that he was able to give me a quote over the phone and when his team arrived for the work, they brought the replacement unit with them...very efficient work. Most other plumbers wanted to send someone out to do an estimate, then run to the hardware store, then come back and do the work.

Once again, Dominick comes through! After getting a call from my neighbor that she was getting water in her unit from my guest bath, I immediately called Dominick. He was there within 24 hours of my call.

After removing our toilet, he found the seal between the pipe and the toilet was completely broken. He not only replaced the seal, he created a *customized* seal on the spot because we have older, larger pipes.

Thanks to other reviewers on Yelp, my husband and I called Dominick to fix our leaky sink (note: he was a new plumber for us as the leaks have been "fixed" 3 times before to hold out for a month or two and then break again). He showed up same-day, giving us a heads up before he was coming so that we could ensure one of us was home from work to let him in.

Although we thought the problem was simple and would be a quick fix, Dominick discovered what other plumbers hadn't: a leaky hose. Literally, the entire hose had small leaks in it and the water was draining into the cabinet below the sink.

We live in a rental, so Dominick was patient as I worked to contact our landlord to confirm how she wanted to handle and ultimately we ended up getting a new faucet because the hose would not properly detach without doing further damage. Although he had plans that night, he altered them and stayed until the job was done.

Dominic at Sinks-N-Sumps was phenomenal. I thought we simply had a backed up toilet but when I heard gurgling sounds coming from a nearby bathtub, knew there was more of an issue.

To add to the situation, my wife went into labor soon after and frankly I forgot about our plumbing issue. I called Dominic after seeing his positive reviews on Yelp while still in hospital and he got back to me within a few hours.

Out of 7 replies from different plumbers, 4 said they'd have to send a plumber out, for a cost ($50-80, which could be put towards the cost of replacement if I went with them), just to give an estimate; and 3 which gave me estimates over the phone.

AquaPro was the first company to respond, gave me a quote over the phone, seemed the friendliest and helpful of the 3 I spoke to, was in no rush when answering all the questions I had, and had the cheapest cost of those 3 (which were comparable services; I knew the exact brand, model, and size I wanted and specified this to each company). They showed up on time, completed the replacement, and cleaned up well when done.

It did take a bit more time to finish the job than I had expected, but the plumber did a quality job, and was friendly and willing to let me watch and learn a few things from him while he was here. This is my first time using AquaPro, but based off this experience, I'd definitely recommend them.

I scheduled an appointment to get a service estimate 3 weeks ago. I went significantly out of my way to be here this morning.

No one showed. When I called 3 hours after the agreed time, I was told "we sent you a text to confirm." But here's the thing: I had a phone call, I spoke to Alex, I agreed on a time, I provided my address.

No one mentioned that they would need a text response and I did not agree to communications by text. When you make an appointment orally, that should be enough.

If you need a text confirmation, say that you need one. I get that lots of people prefer text communications, but you should not assume that you can require one AFTER YOU ACTUALLY SPEAK ABOUT IT.

Serious lack of professionalism. I had four water shutoff valves that couldn't close completely, including both of my whole-house valves, and didn't want to venture into soldering my own pipes in such a high-stakes situation.

Alex replaced all four for me quickly and with minimum hassle! Photos showing old and new valves. We also initially had a bit of confusion that resulted in Alex doing some additional work, which was done with minimal hassle and no extra charge (despite my explicit request to pay at least a little extra).

AquaPro will 100% be my go-to plumber as long as I'm in the area! We found our water was dripping from our 1st floor ceiling this morning and part of 2nd floor carpet was soaked in water. We contacted multiple plumbing companies via Yelp.

AquaPro Plumbing was one of companies contacted back very quickly. We talked to Alex, the owner over the phone.

He was very professional and able to book appointment in the afternoon immediately. Then, he called us again because his previous job appointment completed early so he could come to our place much earlier.

He and his staff came to our place quickly and discovered a root cause of problems immediately. He offered a few proposals, which were very reasonable with clear expectations of benefits of each option.

We choose to replace a toilet, because it was old one and was about a time. He and his staff took care of everything, stop leakage, and cleaned up so well in just a few hours by one visit to our house.

He also pointed out possible future projects, which we were wondering what to do. His suggestion made a perfect sense.

He even said, we don't need to rush, do one at the time when we are ready. Yes, we will contact Alex when we are ready for next project.

Alex responded and provided a fair quote for an under sick filtration system. The system was installed quickly and on time as scheduled.

The technician came later that day and work late until the job was job. Alex called me to update the technician whereabouts and what time he will get to my house.

Water pooling in the basement is always a nightmare but the person who took my call at aquapro scheduled me for an hour later and was very polite on the phone. i received a text a few minutes later to share my name and address.

then i received a confirmation of the 1 hour window. a bit later i received a text that Alex from Aquapro was en route.

Alex was polite and knowledgeable. he diagnosed the issue, snaked the drain, and gave some advice on how to avoid the same issue in the future.

he was on his way with the problem solved before the end of the window timing. i'll be keeping them saved in my phone for next time.

Other plumbers just kept coming out whereas this one fixed the current problem, but explained that it will keep happening because the pipes we have are installed wrong, which is unsurprising considering how the previous owners installed things. I messaged AquaPro and confirmed they would have no problem doing either (filter install and tap mount) with 5 quick messages (via the Yelp messenger.) Finding a good, local area plumber is a tough task these days. Happened across them online and from the first phone call I could tell they were different - a personal touch from scheduling to getting the work done.

Family owned business where the pride in their company shows. Debbie got us scheduled and called to confirm, Matt and Brandon showed up and did a nice job.

Polite, professional, personable, and good at their trade - unfortunately, all too rare qualities these days. The jobs were small, but numerous and with the potential of turning into more complex issues.

They replaced an outside spigot, its supply line and inside cutoff valve. Also, 5 different valves and supply lines for faucets and a leaky toilet.

All with old threaded junctions in the wall and valves that were 30+ yrs old and frozen open. Cost was very reasonable for the work done - can honestly say I was glad to write the check and hope they continue to pass the skills and business on to the next generation.

They were able to assess the area and issue in about an hour and then they back in a few days to fix the problem. They were very clean and thorough in the whole process (placing down tarps, blocking dust, and cleaning up afterwards).

I was also happy when he fixed issues that were surrounding the area as well, and not just "fixing the crack and leaving". While they were here, they quoted me to get my hot water replaced (which I kind of knew was coming)...so I had no problems with having them come back for that.

I am extremely satisfied with their work and will post a few pictures. The one with the dug up ground might look bad, but they were so accurate, they only had to pop off 2 of the tiles.

Then they corrected all of the original pipes and wrapped them (like they should have been). Edit: I added 3 "before pictures", 1 with the broken pipe, and 2 "after" pictures with all new shutoff valves, copper pipes, gas pipes, and the area cleaned up I also found the line of communication with the office manager, Debbie, and the plumbers, Matt and Brandon, to be easy to work with.

There was never any doubts on work to be done, scheduling, or billing. The prices were reasonable as one company wanted to charger over $750 just to locate the leak!!! A&D Plumbing will easily be my first choice for plumbing from now on.

I used A&D last year for a leaky outdoor faucet, which they replaced and I had them do 2 for a little more. No issues This year my toilet was old and running all day.

I am writing this review because I SERIOUSLY respect companies that value client relationships, and A & D proved that to me today. First, my phone call with Debbie was great! She is straight forward and professional.

And she actually calls you back and follows up when she says she will. I like that.

As for the service call, Brandon came out and was just amazing!!!! He explained to me the nature of the work and what would be required in detail. I wanted to have two spigots replaced...one inside garage and the other outside.

After assessing my situation Brandon helped me determine that both spigots were in fine working condition, with the exception of the outside spigot where the screw in the handle was over wrung and water would not turn on. Brandon repaired that, AND to my shock and amazement he did not charge me for that repair.

Because of Brandon's integrity, professionalism, and generosity, I am now a faithful A & D Total Plumbing customer, and will ONLY call A&D Total Plumbing for my projects and repairs!! I found A&D through Yelp as I needed a couple of items taken care of around the house. I submitted a request via their website, and heard back shortly thereafter.

I setup an appointment scheduled for the following week, and received my confirmation call the day before. They arrived in the morning, did the work, and were out in probably an hour.

The guys were professional, did a great job, and explained everything they took care of and what I should keep an eye out for going forward. From start to finish it was a great experience, great value, and great business.

We have been looking for decent plumbers since we moved to the area. A couple of emergencies that caused frantic and quick reviews of the phone book turned up decent but EXPENSIVE options.

This time though, there was no emergency and I could take some time to check out different options. I called A&D (among others) to get the cost to replace two hose faucets outside.

After hearing some of the other prices, some less than stellar attitudes and a "call back some other time". I decided to go with A&D.

Tony and Brandon showed up on time in a decent looking van and decently dressed. Good first impression! The first thing they did after some introductions was lay out some tarps on the carpet.

They cut out the old faucets and got them replaced very quickly. Both were friendly and willing to answer any questions I had.

I had some questions about our injector pump and Tony was happy to explain things to me. Two bonuses: First, Tony looks just a little like Al Borland on "Home Improvement".

Seems to be as trustworthy too. Second, no "plumber's crack" from either of them.

That is appreciated too! : ) They do not take credit cards so keep that in mind. A&D are now my go-to guys for any future plumbing needs.

I would highly recommend this local family business. A & D provides professional and courteous service at a fair price! Was referred to a different plumber when I was called by the owner below my rental unit in Roselle about a leak.

After that plumber came out (for a fee) to pinpoint what was going on, I received a ridiculously high quote on a toilet reset (which includes removing the toilet, replacing the wax ring, and putting the toilet back). Off to Yelp I went to try to find a plumber with a good record and reasonable prices.

So glad that I found A & D, who represented their experience well, had reasonable prices (their quote was $200 less than the other company), and who worked well with my tennant. I will definitely use A & D for any future plumbing needs and have already recommended them to friends in the area.

They put down canvas tarps from my front door all the way to the location in the basement where the work was to be performed. Once finished, they explained how the new water heater works and what to expect.

I paid the quoted price, even though the installation required a new valve (which another company said would cost $67 extra). Another reviewer mentioned this, but they only take cash & check for payment.

They'll remind you when you call them so you're aware. Overall a positive experience and a price that was much better than the competition.

Here's my take for that visit: Had two plumbing issues (disposal didn't work: toilet didn't flush well). Was somewhat hesitant to call a plumber because I had a dreadful experience years ago with a truly rotten company.

Saw the great Yelp! reviews and thought I'd take a chance with A & D Total Plumbing. Am SO GLAD I did! A & D not only met my expectations, but definitely exceeded them.

A & D made sure to keep me apprised as to when I could expect their arrival. Brandon arrived exactly on time, and promptly got to work.

His appearance was of a consummate professional and I score contractors high on that (represents an "I care" attitude). He put protective covers on his shoes.

Immediately he had the disposal working (this to me means "I've got the expertise"). The toilet took a bit more finessing on his part.

He did what he could, and explained in some detail the situation (represents "I keep you informed as a customer" and I really liked that, don't like "mystery" or "customer won't understand" approaches by contractors...just outline the situation for me!). He offered a couple of options, and I appreciated that as well.

He completed the work promptly and completely. February 2017 The disposal finally gave out (it had a few years on it).

Brandon and Matt took care to install a new disposal. My office contact, Debbie, gave me a courtesy call to let me know Brandon and Matt were on their way.

Then his team of trades people replaced the entire shower including the tile and repaired the damaged ceiling, very messy work, but you would never have guessed we were having work done based on how incredibly clean his team worked.

As bad of an experience that was Jaryd was so easy to work with and when we finally got it scheduled he made time to come out and unhook the faucet in the morning and then returned that same night to hook everything back up so we would not be without a sink.

The kicker was he was supposed to go on vacation this week and still made us a priority. This type of service is very hard to find nowadays.

He is a perfectionist and leaves the area cleaner than he found it. I highly recommend him! Was recommended JC by my brother in law and I am absolutely amazed at the customer service I received; I feel like I would be doing an injustice if I didn't put this out there.

We had a leak in our ceiling and couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I called JC with modest expectations but I was surprised for them to tell me they'd be here in only 45 minutes to an hour and they were true to their word.

They figured out the leak was coming from an opening in our upstairs bathtub. They were prepared and didn't even have to come back with new supplies.

They fixed the problem very quickly and were extremely helpful. Super nice and honest, which I really appreciated considering other experiences I've had in the past with other companies.

Their prices were excellent as well. I will never use services from any other company for as long as I'm living up here.
