My home's water heater was leaking and we didn't know what the problem was. I went and found New Generation Plumbing through yelp's project section.

NGP responded very quickly and I was able to schedule an estimate appointment the next morning. Two associates showed up and quoted $125 to replace a supply line from the water heater.

It took about 2 hours (purchasing the part, draining the tank, replacing line, and checking for leaks.) No issues since it was fixed and they included a 90 warranty. New Gen Plumbing offered transparent pricing and quick scheduling right away! I'm looking forward to their service and plumbing repair tomorrow.

And I will update this review. Update: It's not every day that I get to be thankful for a plumbing company.

But Fernando and his team came to the house, and they quickly resolved the clog. They were upfront about the issue and even went above and beyond -- using a camera and scoping the issue -- so that we could figure out a long-term solution.

They sent me the footage and invoice via email and accepted payment via Zelle. 10/10 would recommend, but I would never wish aging cast iron pipes on even my worst enemies.

I called them. I would recommend them highly They quoted $250 for gas leak yesterday and said that they can do it today and came and saw our place this morning.

Then they upped it to $575 and when I approved, they upped to $1100 just for the detection and extra for the fix and told me that they'd have to come back tomorrow. These guys seem like fraud and are very disorganized.

I tried the 811 number you're supposed to call when digging and that is clearly for larger jobs when all the utilities need to get marked and it can take 14 days. I called a well-known local plumbing company and they said they'd have to come back and quoted me an outrageous price.

I called New Generation and they were able to come out right away, they quickly determined the line was an old, unused water line and this allowed me to cut the pipe out and saved a huge amount of effort to re-route the wall around the pipe. And New Generation did not charge me! They said it was part of their free estimate.

New Generation was friendly, communicated well and I will be using New Generation for my upcoming plumbing projects. I have used New Generation for projects small (faucet install, toilet fix) and large (rerouting my plumbing!) and I've never been disappointed.

From the front office to professional plumbers on site the service is always professional and done right. I've had the same crew out to my house multiple times and they ALWAYS remember my house and its little quirks.

Most recently Tony and Jose (and crew) rerouted a large portion of my plumbing to discontinue the use of the original (1920s!) cast iron pipes that were crumbling due to age and massive tree-root invasion. The project was something I've been putting off for years, and I've had multiple plumbers weigh in on it.

I finally moved ahead because Tony and Jose approached my situation creatively and used ingenuity and solid engineering to solve the problem in a way that offers extra benefits (i.e., allowing me to add plumbing to my old one-car garage more easily in the future). And at an extremely competitive price.

In addition to rerouting plumbing and adding new ABS they also lined the cast iron from my sidewalk, connecting to the city main. So that is rehabilitated too! I'm thrilled will the result and so happy to have this project completed.

Just have to say your plumbers poorly advised us. They told us our water issues were caused by the disposal and told us it needed to be replaced.

When we did that, the problem persisted. We called you back and whatever work you did did not fix the problem either.

I had a toilet that was leaking. They removed the toilet and noticed that the wax ring needed to be replaced.

They also found two pennies under the toilet which Martin said was holding up the toilet. Anyway, they replace the wax ring.

They noticed that the flange wasn't seeded on the tile correctly there was a quarter inch gap in one section. They filled that in, reinstalled the toilet, added the white filler that was missing from the first install.

They're cleanup was very professional. They were very nice and professional.

This is my new plumbing company. (I'm sorry to say that my last Plumber passed away in a motorcycle accident.) Our washer had only hot water and no cold water coming out at all.

Martin worked several different ways until he was able to get it working. He unclogged the hose which had built up junk and shortened the length which apparently let it flow properly as it works great now.

I called them Monday morning, and they said they could come Monday afternoon, but there was a Dodger game mid day, so rather than torture the technician, I declined. I was told they would come Tuesday between 12 and 2pm.

I got a call a few minutes before 12, letting me know they would be there in about 30 minutes. They were there in 20.

After spending a few minutes evaluating access and fixes, fetching gear from their van, etc, they got right to the task at hand. Old plumbing in my building, so kitchen sink was making the downstairs bathtub untenable.

Fernando and Carlos did the power snake thing through the clear out (or whatever it's called), and then they asked me if I'd like them to clean my bathtub - which was truly disgusting, as the problem has been going on for over 2 months - I tried to decline that offer, but they insisted that they had the gloves, and that it was their job. Martin from New Generation Plumbing saved the day!after hiring a handyman to save some dollars to replace a leaky faucet, that handyman butchered the project which left me without water until the next morning when Martin from New Generation showed up at 7:30am to give me a quote. They got to work quickly and within the hour replaced the faulty faucet and installed a new shutoff valve and we had running water once more! The work Is top notch quality.

Very happy with their work and response after having to go a full day without water. These guys were on time and handled my plumbing issue in under an hour.

I had a pipe disconnect where it couldn't be reached and I thought I would have to cut through the outside wall to get to the pipe. They managed to do it in a way that didn't require opening up the wall from the outside which was a HUGE relief.

Thanks! Not great customer service when the company lies by text and indicates that a service rep is in route only for us to find out a day later that the text message was untrue. And we only found out what actually occurred when we reached out to them for an explanation.

It was a somewhat complicated situation, since my upstairs neighbor's water heater and piping was leaking into my unit.

Henry and Sebastian showed up right on time and did a thorough check of the pipes between our units, as well as the water heater and all other water appliances in my neighbor's unit.
