Two Thumbs Up! I have a book of "best picks" for the Alpharetta area and I called a couple places for estimates. Sundial was the only place I called that did have a $40 estimate fee but that amount was applied to your balance should you choose them.

Darrin was the plumber that Sundial sent to me. His professionalism, knowledge and how thorough him and his crew were on the estimate is what won my business.

They were able to come out the next day and I not only had them fix the original problem but also had them replace my water heater. I'm very impressed by the work that Darrin, Joel, Jonathan and Nick did at my home.

Received a call that he was 30 minutes away; Mark was in my driveway by 10:40! Masked and bootied. Did the necessary & out in 1/2 hour.

Love this company! I got a leak in my grey poly plumbing under my concrete slab. Some of my plumbing is under the concrete and some runs thru the attic.

Sundial gave me an estimate of $2400 to reroute the part that is under the concrete, and said that would restore water to the whole house. They cancelled one appointment.

They were a no-show for the 2nd appointment, even though I called that morning to confirm. They arrived today and said the work cannot be done in the way that was originally estimated.

They are going to have to tear up a lot more of my house, significantly increasing the price. So I decided to just to tear up the concrete and repair the pipe instead.

They wanted $3700 for that, so more than the original estimate to reroute. I am now getting the repair job under the concrete from another plumber for $1600, but they can't come until Monday, so that is 3 more days with no water.

After getting an outrageous quote from another provider I polled my neighbors on Nextdoor and Sundial was mentioned several times and was also recommended by my HOA. One thing I really liked was that the schedule coordinator texted me to confirm that their plumber was 30 mins away instead of calling.

He showed up on time and quickly assessed the issue, quoting me HALF what the other company did. Really great service, personable staff and I will DeFINITELY be using them from now on.

Can't go wrong with this company! We have always been pleased with SunDial as they have done work at our 4 properties. Today we had Gary come to take a look at one of our toilets which is not a high quality item.

We have talked about replacing the 4 toilets in the house and Gary had answers to all of our questions. We went with his recommendation which was the type of toilet we were hoping for.

He was willing to go and pick up the toilets and install them TODAY! What service! And he worked until after 6 PM to complete the job! Way to go Gary! He was neat and wore shoe covers and brought a vacuum! We commend SunDial for hiring professionals such as Gary and we will continue to recommend their business. While inspecting a commercial property in Atlanta I noticed water pouring out of a hole in the parking lot.

Jan 2018. We contacted the seller's broker as we wanted this inspected and repaired before purchase.

They hired Sundial Plumbing and the repair was so bad it failed not 6 months after I purchased the property making me spend THOUSANDS to fix it correctly. This is what my plumber had to say: The ditch was not properly back filled, as they used the previously removed and contaminated asphalt for backfill.

The water line repair was completed with schedule 80 PVC (gray), however they left all the other schedule 40 PVC (white) which should have never been used in the first place. They also left the schedule 40 PVC fitting above ground and not protected from weather or traffic.

We removed all the bad thin wall schedule 40 pressure PVC from the sub-meter to horizontal connection and replaced it with copper piping. I doubt they pulled a permit or had it inspected because it NEVER would have passed.

I would never use another plumber again. Mike was wonderful.

I tried out this plumbing service for the first time for a small job I had. A bath tub faucet broke and could not be turned off.

I had to turn the water off in my house until I could get this fixed. I called Sundial and their office was friendly and able to schedule me the same day, but I opted to wait until the next day, a Saturday.

They gave me a window of four hours, from 8:00 to Noon. On Saturday, I got a call a little after 8:00 telling me someone would be there in the next 30 to 45 minutes.

The plumber came right about in that timeframe. It was nice to have them come at the beginning of their four hour window rather than at the end.

The job was pretty straightforward and he gave me a quote of $125 before doing the work. I signed the quote and he finished pretty quick.

He also had some suggestions for a few other things in my bathroom. The worker was professional and friendly.

Melissa was incredibly friendly and personable and beyond helpful with scheduling a good time for their Service to come out to my house. They are very easy to get in touch with always answer the phone and call you back very quickly.

Chris serviced our house initially for an incredibly clogged kitchen sink (old house, unusual piping underneath) and he was super fast, incredibly efficient and his customer service is impeccable. He noticed that our faucet hose wasn't working properly and leaking along with one or two other things that I already knew needed fixing but he was very insistent on getting these things taken care of for me.

He showed genuine care for these things to get properly taken care of. He was back in no time within a day or two to replace our faucet in addition to fixing another problem, (that I don't know much about, haha, but I trusted his knowledge and expertise.

The last job I called in for... it wasn't urgent, so I really just wanted a quote.

Quote was outrageous.... had another plumber complete the work for less than half the price.

Plus the guy wanted to do unnecessary work, which is what I believe made the quote so high. Unfortunately, I won't be using them anymore....

they're just too expensive. I had a toilet replaced & they charged over $700 for the new toilet & installation.

I researched toilets after I agreed to the work & they're pretty inexpensive. Also, I dislike dispatch services when a different plumber comes out to you each time work is needed.

I like to build a repoire with my service ppl.... can't do that when there's someone new each time repairs are needed....

and of course the dispatch service probably splits the fee with the person doing the work. Reasonable / affordable prices along with great service keeps customers over the long haul everytime! Well - made an appointment for Noon - 5.

Took the afternoon off of work to accommodate. Having not yet shown up , I called them at 4:30 and they assured me I was still on their list.

They never showed. Never even called the next day apologize/explain.

The service was fine but way over priced. I had one job completed for nearly $600 (took less than one hour for one plumber) and he quoted me over $1200 for a second job.

I chose to get a second quote on the other job and had it completed by another plumbing company for $740 with great satisfaction. The Sundial Plumber also referred me to a water damage restoration company who was also way overpriced when I got a second estimate.

Lesson learned: GET A SECOND QUOTE! Great service by Kayla and the Tech! I couldn't ask for better service - From taking my call to coming onsite and completing the job, Sundial was professional, prompt and had fair pricing! Very rarely can you find all three in a plumbing company. I highly recommend Sundial Plumbing! My experience with Sundial is different than some I've read online.

I used them on the recommendation of the previous owner of my home as they were the only ones in the area willing to service my nearly new tankless water heater that had gone bad (faulty equipment, not their fault). They were extremely understanding and courteous in dealing with my plight; dare I say they were more helpful than the manufacturer of the equipment! They worked with the manufacturer to find me a replacement unit in stock in the area and to get it installed as quickly as possible.

To top it off, I mentioned when I called (partially to guilt some speedy service I'll admit :D ) that I have a newborn at home and the technician showed up with a card signed by the whole Sundial team congratulating my wife and I on our new child and commiserating with us on our relatively new equipment failing us. It was very touching as we were having a trying week.

Rick, our plumbing tech, was very polite and pleasurable to work with and took the time to answer all of my questions and provide some helpful, tangential advice to my questions on some areas to be more efficient in my home water usage. I will definitely be using them again for my routine maintenance needs as well as for emergencies.

Awful plumbing company. Unfair business practices and they charge too much for the average quality of service they deliver.

There are so many other options that you should look at than Sundial Plumbing. Terrible experience.

We had to fix a small part on a hot water heater that was still under warranty. They say they are a mid priced plumber...

the "diagnostic" (which was already diagnosed by our builder's plumber) cost $330. Then they had to come out and fix it (which took several weeks because supposedly the company kept sending them the wrong thing), and then, when he finally came, he popped the part in in less than 5 minutes.

They charged us ANOTHER $350. We paid it but complained to the owner, who sent us a long song and dance about how they are mid range priced and they have 5 people working on every call, and they have special expertise in addition to being drug free etc.

All I can say is, my lawyer, who has more people working for him and a lot more "training" is a fraction of the cost of this ridiculous place. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
