They are always responsive, prompt and affordable and I can't recommend them enough.

For my home and my rental properties, it's great to have them as a resource when I need them. While it is nice to see many positive reviews for Archibald Plumbing, I cannot recommend them.

David did a number of plumbing jobs for me. All were satisfactory except for the biggest one: replacing a toilet and repairing the underlying problem in the plumbing to the ground floor toilet.

He explained that the first toilet had been installed incorrectly and that he fixed the problem. It became clear within months that the new toilet was not installed correctly as it was leaking at the base.

Life intervened. Covid and cancer for me.

My illness made it difficult to address household repairs and I was unable to have any one in my how during my treatment as I was seriously immuni-compromised. I explained that soon after the install I went through surgery,chemo and radiation.

I provided David with time stamp photos of the problem once I was in a position to open my home. It fell on deaf ears.

Despite my circumstances he claimed too much time had passed and he was unwilling to make the repair. So now I must hire a new plumber to re-seat the toilet and repair the underlying plumbing into the toilet.

No doubt I'll be out hundreds of dollars. Again.

You decide if that seems right. My suggestion: caveat emptor!.

Have had an excellent experience with Archibald Plumbing Services. We've used them to help fix issues we were having with several toilet (leaking) plumbing issues in our house as well.

They were responsive, explained the issues, and were able to fix them. We also learned that they have staff that work on HVAC.

As with the plumbing services, they were excellent, communicative, and were able to get the work us a far more energy efficient and quiet system. Suffice it to say, highly recommend them without any reservation ! Oh hell yes.

Have hired these guys for several jobs (repairing/replacing kitchen faucet, replacing bathroom sink/shower/tub trim, replacing leaking pipes, replacing hot water heater) and they've been excellent on all of them. They'll respond on a weekend, and do their best to send someone in (on a Sunday!).

Everyone they've sent over has been professional, pleasant, knowledgeable, ON TIME and efficient. Plus their prices are fair - they know the market and don't assume that you're clueless either.

Couldn't ask for a better company to work with. David was super responsive when setting up an appointment, and when the crew came out there were on time, friendly, and efficient.

Good value too. While I don't hope to have more plumbing/water issues (who does?!), I'll gladly bringing my business back to Archibald if that day comes.

100% recommend if you need plumbing work done in your house! I was also referred to Archibald Plumbing Services through another local plumber whose schedule was currently full. David answered right away and I described that our house had a fully-encapsulated crawlspace with humidity levels that were way too high and needed a good dehumidifier installed to get it under control (we'd gotten a consultation with a good crawlspace inspection company who'd recommended a unit and that we get a plumber to do the install).

David set us up right away with a visit from two of his plumbers who checked out the space, came back with an estimate shortly thereafter, and now just a week later my remote hygrometers in the crawlspace are showing much better humidity levels. The plumbers were very prompt during the consultation and on the morning of the install, polite and courteous, took care as they did their work and moved tools and gear in and out of the house, and plumber Alex took the time to give me a tour of the dehumidifier and answer all of my questions so I could understand what was installed where and why, what was draining where, where I could cut off power if needed, etc.

David and his crew at Archibald were excellent and we'll be in touch with them first as we move on to lower priority plumbing work in our house. Thank you again! We called them to fix a bad toilet and they were able to come the next day.

Unfortunately, they were unaware of another problem we had with this toilet and the toilet was leaking. We called them at 6:10 pm, Archibald called back at 6:30 pm and they were able to come and fix it at 8 am the next day.

Problems sometimes occur with amy company. How a company handles a problem says the most about their service and customer relations.

I am very impressed with Archibald Plumbing. I called Aspen Hill Plumbing and their schedule was so full, they recommended Archibald Plumbing as a Master Plumber who used to work for them.

Santos and George scoped and snaked 90 feet of my waste pipe and were able to give my 80 year old cast iron a "clean" bill of health. I really appreciated their professionalism and general friendliness.

David, the owner, also came by to give a quote/advice on water heater replacements. Between them, I'm confident I've found the plumber I'll use for anything in the future.

A $1500 water bill was a wake up call and the wet spot in the driveway was confirmation: we had a leak in the pipe under the driveway that connected our house to the water main. Not a fun discovery, to say the least.

We turned to Archibald on the advice of our friend (a realtor) and were very pleased with the service. David was prompt with communication and explained things well.

His guys were clearly good at their job and also easy to communicate with. The job required several days: they had to dig a new trench in our driveway to expose the old pipe and then lay a new one.

But the work got done ahead of schedule and extremely close to the original estimate. We were even able to turn the water back on at night, which made the few days much easier on the family.
