The whole thing decided to give up the ghost on a Monday, because of course it did, and they threw caution to the wind and showed up after I got out of work Tuesday [later than anyone usually makes appointments] despite having a suspicion that the job would be a tricky one. After much careful wiggling, rerigging, rewiring, and replumbing, they got everything installed, cleaned out my air conditioner condenser for free and had the foresight to test and replace a few other worn parts to prevent problems later down the road.
