Turns out we had a broken flange and a really bad wet seal. He replaced both, told me what to expect & how we should wait at least 24 hours before using the toilet again.

Our water line busted over the weekend so when we came in on Monday morning there was water everywhere. I reached out to both Alliance Plumbing and Islandman Plumbing because the plumber we usually use was unavailable.
(we are required to get 2 quotes when using a new company) I spoke with Jody over the phone and she was great. She was very friendly and assured me that someone would be able to make it out that same afternoon.
You could actually hear the smile through her voice, just very pleasant to speak with over all. Nick Hartnett was the plumber they sent out to our business.
He was also very friendly and helpful. Not to mention he saved us thousands of dollars.
We had gotten a quote from the other company earlier that morning and they quoted us $3000 more than what we actually ended paying with Alliance plumbing (they didn't properly access the busted water line and was trying to charge for repairs that we didn't need.) Nick actually brought out a shovel and dug up the water line to find the route of the problem (the other company did not). He gave us and accurate and reasonable quote for the repairs, which to us, showed the company's integrity.
Nick made us feel like a valued customer and not just like a commercial business that they could make more money off of. He came back the next morning to make the repairs and had us up and running by lunch time.

Our bathtub drain was leaking. Nick came out and identified it as a bad gasket, but when he removed the bad gasket to put in a new one, his expertise led him to realize I had a much bigger problem.
The guy who did the repairs before hadn't installed the entire drain assembly properly. Nick called in Kyle for some backup and they got it done right the same day.

He had to return the next day to complete some of the work but he called ahead and he showed up on time. I think that's a pretty big deal in Galveston because most plumbing services I have used here operate on" island time" and I found that to mean they may or may not show up at all or they may demand payment upfront and not come back or they may even be intoxicate on the job.
However,Alliance was prompt, professional and completely reliable. I trust this company and I will use them again.
I will share that they are not cheap, In fact I would say they may be on the highest end of cost per hour. However, my job was completed to my complete satisfaction and I didn't have to deal with island timers.

technician charged me $350 phone time (2hours) for calling the utility company and trying to locate my gas lines, very disappointed! I have used Alliance Plumbing in the past for a re-route and re-pipe so they were the FIRST people to call when I awoke to noises I determined were coming from my attic. I called Jean and she lined up Augustin Villa to come and diagnose the situation.
Lucky for me it was only air that had somehow entered my line and was making one of my lines bang on the beams and framework! And he even showed me how to remedy myself if this was ever to happen again. While he was here I asked him some questions about my water heater purchased in 2008.
He gave me a quote, and was able to install a new one right away and educated me on the unit. I am super pleased.

Parts less than $100. Had a water leak in the front yard at the meter so it ended up being my problem rather than the city's to fix.
Called Alliance Plumbing and they had someone out here within 30 mins. Nick was a great representative for their company, he explained where the problem was and gave me some options on fixing it.
One was to just replace the part that was broke or I could get the whole line replaced. Went with option one since that cost was significantly lower.
Nick was helpful explaining the process of the job and made the fix quickly even tho he got hit with some rain while he was working. If Alliance Plumbing Services has other workers like Nick, then this company should be around for a very long time, he's the type of employee all companies strive to have on their staff.

I have used them for at least ten years! We used them for a commercial repair. They messed up more than they fixed and when asked to take responsibility for their mistake they wanted to charge us more.
Eventually had to call another plumber to fix what they broke! Great service at a fair price! Used them twice and both times very professional and helpful. Initially I was impressed, they were quick to respond and completed the work quickly (the one start).
But the bill was another matter! I thought I was given a quote before the work was started but apparently the estimate was the bill!! I was shocked because he was there only 45 minutes to replace a piece of pipe and was surprised when he told me the cost stands as is, so I called the office and they told me the same. I asked for a break out of the bill....labor, materials, etc....and the response was, "their system doesn't do that"....this is the first contractor I worked with that does this! Be aware, if you are not concerned with cost just quick response, this is your company.
If you need a break out of the bill or want to negotiate cost based on materials and labor per hour, this is NOT the company for you!!! The problem is the work done I paid 404.00. I needed the leak stopped NOW, so I authorized the work and paid the bill.

I liked that they were able to pull up the quote for the service on a tablet where I could see what I was actually paying for before the work was done. I agreed to the work & they got started right away fixing a bad clog affecting the washer, shower, & toilet on one side of the house.
They completed the work quickly & efficiently. They were even able to troubleshoot a small problem I was having under my kitchen sink & gave me advice to keep my dishwasher problem-free.
